Out-Of-Character Information
What is your Minecraft username?:
W4TOO
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
watoo.
How old are you? (Optional):
20
What is your time zone?:
CET
Describe your activity on the server:
I am online a few hours daily, but during weekends I am far more active, dedicating longer sessions to roleplay.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I understand and accept this rule.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Receptionist
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The receptionist role is one of the first points of contact for students entering Karakura High School. Receptionists are responsible for answering questions, directing individuals to the appropriate departments, handling basic paperwork, keeping attendance logs, and ensuring that communication between students and staff runs smoothly. A receptionist should remain approachable, organized, and professional while assisting others, as they represent the school at its front desk.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have experience in both casual and faction-based roleplay across different settings, including structured environments where rules and professionalism are required. I’m familiar with balancing character personality while staying true to faction standards. I enjoy detail-oriented RP, using /me’s and interactions that feel realistic.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I’d like to contribute to the school community in a meaningful way. The receptionist role fits my character’s nature perfectly, giving me the opportunity to interact with many players and support both staff and students. I also enjoy grounded, slice-of-life roleplay, and I see the employee faction as a place where those interactions happen daily.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Alfred would blink in mild surprise, adjusting his glasses and muttering something like, “Good heavens, such language…” before addressing the student kindly but firmly. He would remind them that he has been called far worse in his 73 years, and that rudeness only reflects poorly on themselves. His reaction would be calm, slightly humorous, but with enough seriousness that the student understands they have crossed a line. If the behavior continued, Alfred would shake his head, jot the name down on a sticky note (which he may or may not misplace later), and inform a teacher or staff member.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Alfred would rise from behind the reception desk much slower than he once could, but with surprising determination. Waving his arms, he’d call out: “Now, now, fists won’t solve a thing!” He’d shuffle toward them, raising his voice as much as his old lungs allowed. If safe, he’d step between them, more as a wall than a fighter, using his presence to distract them until faculty arrived. While breaking up the fight, he might scold them with something oddly fatherly like, “You’ll regret this when you’re my age and your knuckles ache every winter!”
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Alfred would be visibly troubled, tilting his head and asking in a concerned tone whether they were quite sure what they were doing. He might chuckle nervously and remind them that “safety first is more than a slogan.” If it looked genuinely dangerous, he’d insist they stop immediately and report it in his own old-fashioned way — writing the incident down in neat cursive, complete with underlines, before passing it along to higher staff.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Alfred would be the kind of coworker who offers peppermints or teabags he keeps tucked away in his jacket pocket. He’d chat freely, telling short stories from his past that sometimes wander off-topic, but always circle back to a thoughtful point. If no one engages, he’d hum quietly to himself while flipping through a crossword puzzle book. His presence would be gentle, quirky, and oddly comforting.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me fumbles briefly with the drawer of sign-in slips before finding the correct form, sliding it across the counter with a sheepish smile. “Ah, there we are… found it quicker than last time, eh?”
/me peers over his spectacles at the student in front of him, scribbling notes with deliberate strokes of his fountain pen, pausing only to ask, “Now, which classroom was it again? Don’t let me send you to the wrong one!”
/me shuffles a neat stack of papers, humming a tune from decades past, before looking up with a warm grin. “How can I help you today, young one?”

Full Name (First & Last only):
Alfred Greymont
Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss):
Mr.
Preferred Name:
Alfred
Age (Minimum is 25):
73
Gender:
Male
Academic Degree:
Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Studies
Major(s): Public Administration
Minors: Communications
Nationality:
Japanese
Known Languages:
Japanese
Backstory (300+ words):
Alfred Greymont was born in Karakura many decades ago, during a time when the city looked very different from the bustling place it is today. Growing up, Alfred was never the loudest or the brightest in the room, but he had a knack for making people feel at ease. He discovered early on that he enjoyed being helpful, whether it was showing a neighbor how to fill out a form or simply pointing a lost stranger in the right direction.
After finishing school, Alfred pursued Administrative Studies, fascinated by the order and structure of public service. He worked in government offices for much of his adult life, serving as a clerk, secretary, and later a front desk supervisor. He became known for his patience, his old-fashioned charm, and his meticulous note-taking, often filling entire drawers with carefully labeled folders. While others chased promotions, Alfred remained happiest at the front desk, where he could greet people, answer questions, and lend a listening ear.
Eventually, Alfred retired. But retirement never quite suited him. His days felt too quiet, his house too empty. He missed the small daily connections that gave life its rhythm. Friends suggested he enjoy his old age in peace, but Alfred always said: “Peace is all well and good, but I’d rather be useful.”
When he heard Karakura High School was in need of reception staff, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to stay active while giving back to the community. Though his hair has grayed and his steps are slower, Alfred brings with him a wealth of experience, kindness, and a touch of humor that makes even the most nervous visitor feel at home.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I may be old, but I believe every day is a chance to be useful. Students sometimes need more than instructions — they need a smile, a kind word, or someone patient enough to answer the same question twice. I can provide that. Working at the reception desk lets me serve the school in a way that fits who I am.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
What I lack in youth, I make up for in experience, patience, and dedication. I will never rush a student, nor turn away someone needing help. My presence at the desk would ensure that the first face people see at Karakura High is one that is welcoming, steady, and genuinely happy to be there.
