Out-Of-Character Information
What is your Minecraft username?:
vynemia (The account I'm applying with.)
vynIsWinning (Main)
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
vynemia
How old are you? (Optional):
17
What is your time zone?:
CST
Describe your activity on the server:
On a scale of 1-10, about an 8... I barely have a life. If I'm not on, I'm either asleep or surprisingly busy.
In more detail, I usually get on for several hours every day, more or less depending on what I'm doing or whoever else is on.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I do.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Tutor!
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A tutor provides individual or perhaps group academic support for students who need it. They help students understand subject material, improve skills, and gain confidence in learning. This involves explaining in a clear and accessible way, answering questions, giving feedback, being patient, and guiding practice. Tutors adapt to each student's needs, and they identify areas for improvement and offer strategies. They encourage a positive learning environment, track progress, and help prepare for assignments and whatnot.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I've been roleplaying for many years, just not in SRP. I've roleplayed in numerous games on Roblox when I was younger, even then I'd say my roleplay skills were decent, but as I grew older, my skills got way better, obviously because I'm getting more mature. I will admit that SRP has strengthened them and I've gotten much better at it. I continue to improve the longer I play and roleplay with others! DetailRP is often one of my favorite things to do, whether it be gang stuff or romance or whatever, I will do my best to detail anything if I feel like it or if another person wishes to do so.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
It would give more roleplay opportunities, and I think it would be fun! I would enjoy having interactions with students as a tutor, as I love to help people out and guide them. Beyond interacting with students, it would offer a chance to collaborate and connect with other employees. I like the balance of responsibility and authority, and I'd love to explore how it shapes my character.

Situations
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Azenya will remain calm and patient. She wouldn't get upset or yell, but she would talk firmly with a steady tone. She would tell the student that she is there to help them succeed. She would try her best not to escalate the situation and use psychological insight to understand the student's frustration. If the insults were to continue, she will calmly set boundaries, saying that she is happy to help but she will not tolerate any disrespect, and that they can continue when the student can be respectful. Her approach is a mix of professionalism, honesty, empathy, and authority. She values mutual respect.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Azen's first priority is definitely safety. She would be quick to react, stepping in and raising her voice to get their attention. She would tell them to stop immediately. She would not try to physically intervene unless necessary because it would most likely escalate the situation. She'd stand in a strategic way to block bystanders and make space, using her presence to command authority. Then she'd quickly call for help on the radio. After the fight stops, she would talk to them with firmness, explaining that fighting is not acceptable, and she would tell them to step back and explain what led to a fight and reassure them that they were going to solve it properly if they cooperate. She will remain composed.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Again, Azenya prioritizes safety. For herself, the students, and of course the employee. She'd approach cautiously, observing the risk before intervening. She would tell them to stop immediately, making it clear that they need to handle it properly and safely. If the behavior continues or gets increasingly dangerous, she would not hesitate to alert higher authority. She values protocol, and knows that situations like these may require authority beyond her own.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Azenya remains calm and composed. She's polite and observant, offering a thoughtful conversation if she's approached. She would often be seen sipping on a cup of coffee and reading a book, or looking through notes. Her presence is subtle yet noticeable, but she doesn't demand attention. If others are stressed or overwhelmed, she would be more than happy to offer encouragement or whatever the person may need. She values this time as a moment to rest and recharge, and she makes sure her energy is balanced.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me carefully scanned each student's work as she moved around the room quietly. She noticed a student hesitating, so she knelt beside the desk. Her voice was soft yet clear as she asked them a question, intending to help guide them toward the right answer. As soon as she noticed the students expression shift from confusion and frustration to understanding, she gave them a small, encouraging smile before standing back up and giving them a thumbs up!
/me reviewed notes she had taken on her tablet, writing down any observation she had made about each student's learning style and progression. She tapped her foot quietly on the ground as she studied each and every word. Even while it was a quiet moment, she remained alert yet composed and calm. Her movements were deliberate, words measured, and she projected quiet confidence that was reassuring and inspiring.
/me sat beside the student at a table. Her posture was relaxed, yet proper and her hands were folded on the open textbook that lay in front of her. She noticed the student hesitating, so she leaned slightly closer and spoke in a soft tone. "Let's take it step by step, okay?" She said, gesturing to a paragraph. "Tell me what this sentence is asking of you." She waited patiently while the student hesitated, giving them a moment to think. She was obviously confident in their ability.

Backstory
"My path toward becoming- or well. . wanting to be a tutor was never accidental. Years of discipline, cultivating knowledge, and a never-ending fascination with the human mind and written words is the result. I was born in Marseille, France, to a Greek mother and a French father. I was raised in a home where conversation was as much an art as a necessity. I was told many stories as a child. . ancient Greek myths from my mom, and French literature from my dad. My parents shaped me into someone drawn to history, language, and human behavior.
While I was in school, I shined in subjects that required deep thought and interpretation. Many classmates struggled to enjoy literature or psychology, but I believe that I thrived in both. When university came, I pursued a dual major in English Literature and Psychology. I believed that in order to truly understand people, one must understand both their stories and their mind.
During my studies, I began to 'tutor' my classmates. At first, it was just a casual thing, offering help when someone needed it. I took time to explain difficult topics before exams, help organize essays, break down complex theories into something practical, and whatever else. I realized that my classmates who once dreaded certain subjects began to seek me out regularly. One of them has said that they were impressed by my clarity and ability to adapt to an individual's learning style, and it stuck with me ever since. I discovered after that, that I had a natural ability to teach. I like to think that my approach is patient yet firm, and encouraging but honest.
After I graduated, I decided to formalize my skills. I took short courses in educational methodology and academic coaching to strengthen my credentials. Becoming a tutor is not just a job to me, it is the result of years spent learning and mastering communication, empathy, and critical thinking. I aim to inspire and help students understand and succeed."
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
"I believe in the power of education. I want to help students not only succeed in academics, but also build confidence, critical thinking, and so on. I have already learned the different stereotypes of the school, which was.. a lot! I wish to connect with other employees as well, and help them with whatever they struggle with."
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
"I do not doubt that there are other applicants who may be more skilled than I am, but I am able to teach a variety of subjects while also understanding student's needs. I am a patient, honest, and hard-working individual. I do not give up, and I will always go out of my way for a student in need. I think that tutoring is not just about education, but it's about inspiring confidence. I do hope that you give me a chance, and if you do. . I will not make you regret it."
