I would like to say that I am quite active, the only times I tend to not be active is during work, or if my girlfriend is visiting. I tend to get on almost everyday, and I’m already very active to the best of my ability due to being in EMS and the reporter faction. Even whilst being in those two factions, I really do try my best to continue being active and keeping up with a lot of stuff. I do try to get on a lot more than I did in the past but I really like to include myself in many roleplays!
If I were to put my activity on a scale I would 7/10, I’m not online 24/7, or online for hours on hours, but when I’m on tend to I stay on for a bit.

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
Well, I’m going to be completely honest, I’ve played SRP since 2021 I believe. I took a huge break back in 2023, but ever since I joined SRP, I’ve always hoped to own a shop, which I have a past application that I worked on. I never finished it which I wish I did, but even back then I actually wanted to run a restaurant on SRP. I always understood that shopkeeper is a very hard faction and one that is very hard to get into, even knowing that I still want to try as this faction always held something in my heart.The role of a shopkeeper is something I would love to play on SRP.
I’ve always wondered how the faction ran and how all of the systems work and how to control it, always wondering that also really grabbed my interest in it all. Being in control of something and being able to express my ideas sounds super fun, making uniforms for it and making up the ideas of how it will run, how it will look and simply all of the above. To summarize it all, this faction has simply just been my dream, even if I don’t make it, I’m just happy I even tried and took a chance.
I would love to make an impact, as well as be a part of a community such as a Shopkeeper. Being able to host and create something that could make a big impact on someone’s roleplay experience would mean a lot to me and be super fun. I also would love to form a community with the staff in my store, being both co-workers ICLY and friendly OOCLY!
Additionally, I’d love to provide a unique experience on SRP, bringing a cozy and silly atmosphere with fun and interactive performances and events, whilst also providing cultural insight through different dishes from the cultures behind the restaurant. A lot of the dishes I chose for my restaurant represent or line up with the cultural background of both Japanese and German.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
Well my plans with my shop can come off a little basic but the way it will run, it makes it seem fun! So, let’s start with the basics!
EMPLOYEE ETIQUETTE
The biggest thing I think sets my restaurant aside from the rest. I have often seen around social media certain restaurants which offer something unique and quite silly, intentionally rude staff. Nothing too crazy or rude, but silly, back and forth banter. Stuff that would make you giggle, the severe irony or stupidity of the insult. I think this would bring a lot of attention to the restaurant, as I feel many people would enjoy the concept and find it both silly and fun to roleplay in. I love the idea of having this beautiful, elegant restaurant and then the employees being a complete 180.
Additionally, we would provide a separate seating area, for our guests which do not want the banter, and wish to simply enjoy what Takumi Genuss has to offer, which is their food and peaceful music and performances.
PERFORMANCES
With every opening that the shop has, there will be planned shows for customers to come in and watch, it can go from theatre, comedy, dance, and talent shows!. This is why there are 6 actors, they will get custom outfits based on the performances they will act out. Let’s say they want to come on and do an act about pirates, they will get custom outfits for that acting. Now, the big question that probably runs in your mind while reading this. How will you hire actors? Well, with applications they will have to come in for an interview and perform at least 2 scenes for the owner or one of the on-going managers, which would be the manager of actors. Depending on the type of show scheduled, actors may rotate between performances throughout the opening. For example, in a comedy-based opening, actors may switch in and out between acts. In other cases, a single performance may run for the entire opening. If no performances are scheduled, karaoke is offered to customers as an alternative! They will be able to join in with it as it encourages customer participation. Then on top of it all, this will head more into events! You’ll see why!

WAITRESS/WAITERS
With every opening we will try to have at least 4-6 waitresses/waiters on, as a way to bypass the weight of work on one person, if we cannot get more than 3 waiters/waitresses then there will not be an opening, as we don’t want anyone to be stressed! On top of it all, we will be setting them up with what to say about our restaurant, how to greet the customers and to add a little spice, they will have to make up something that makes them unique as a waiter! The greeting will change up if the customer requests to deal more with the rude, funny aspect of our restaurant, as we will have it to where the restaurant will have some servers who will do their normal thing on the shift, while the other servers will have more fun with the customers. Now you may ask, what do you mean ‘more fun’? Well, what I’m speaking of is the aspect that we have which is the jokeful rudeness and reactions to the customers, now the customers will not have to have servers like that, they may ask for the normal service!
HOSTS
With every opening we will try to at least have 2 hosts on, to balance everything out, but honestly we just need one per night, as all they will do is greet and seat customers! Telling them a suggestion of what they can get at our restaurant! They may occasionally serve drinks if we are low on waitresses.
MANAGERS
With every opening we will try to have at least 1 manager on with the owner, as the co-owner will be there as well! Managers help run each department of the employees and deal with the media! Of course, their responsibility would be to monitor everything, as stated, as well as roaming around the restaurant from time to time, asking people how their food is and if they need anything. The managers will typically be the ones training new employees where it is needed.
LEAD EMPLOYEES
Lead employees take charge whenever a manager is not around, they make sure to check that everything is in check and keep a log of things that are not restocked to make sure everyone else can know what’s going on, they are the first ones to go to management as they keep notes of everything going on. If the managers cannot train a new employee for whatever reason, lead employees will fill in for them.
All of this being combined, our restaurant will be a welcoming place for all to come! We have ideas of events planned out, but the restaurant would be open to customers renting it out for personal events or bigger events for the town. We want people to have trust in us and have some loyalty for our restaurant. Being open to the people gives a chance to prove the restaurant’s love for its customers!
SYSTEM!
We want the restaurant to be kept in place and clean, we will have a spot where each item can go, one chest will have a max amount of 4 items, split into corners so it doesn’t get confusing, the shop’s panel will have numbers + letters to let the employees know where to go and where everything is placed and kept. Employees do not get to pick out items at the beginning of the shift, once the shift ends they can either get an item for free with 10% of what they earned or they just take 10%! We want to do this because we want to give back to the workers, when it comes to any sorts of costumes they do not need to pay for anything! The owner and co-owner will handle all of that or handmake it themselves, it's not our employees job to take care of small things like that.

How many employees do you plan to have?:
I want to try to keep the restaurant balanced out, while still trying to have enough employees to handle the openings. In total I want to try to have at LEAST 34 employees, the list of where the amount breaks out is below. We want to focus on having more waiters/waitresses over anything else, as besides actors they are our main show, they create the most service and have the most time spent with the customers.
Each role will have their own set times for how long it should take them to interact with customers during their shift. This is so they are able to give the customers the best time they can have at our restaurant, but so they can still be comfortable during their shift.
Every role has a description of what they do, and what makes their role special is listed above. The reason why they aren’t listed below is because their roles are the IMPORTANT part of our restaurant, as they will be running the show. Our employees will be the face of our restaurant, customers will feel more welcomed by our staff and the equal amount of love towards the food.

EVENTS
EVENT #1 - | Our restaurant is an opening to the people. We plan to host events with the businesses that are in Karakura! For example, there are idol businesses, since there is a stage where we can let the idols perform, such as music shows which allows businesses to showcase their talents. Now how is this considered an event? Well let me tell you, with the stage being open like this we can do huge gatherings bringing together businesses and the public. Businesses can promote with our restaurant, this first lets the businesses have a good spot with us and future events! Returning to the idea of the idol businesses, with performances being the main ordeal of the restaurant, the huge event can be about having the main idols come in and perform their songs. This will work out by using watchtogether, the businesses will set up the playlists, and actions beforehand, we can even make the performers custom |
EVENT #2 - | Considering our first event based around being open to the public and allowing businesses to host events, what stops us from including the best times of the year, holidays! Mattering on the season and what upcoming holiday is coming around, we will have new editions of food items for those said holidays! As most restaurants actually tend to release new items to follow up with some jolly times! This also means fun activities for customers to hop into. The restaurant will be set up in the season’s theme or holiday theme, for example, Christmas; instead of normal uniforms they will be dressed as elves/reindeers with the managers being dressed as Santa/Mrs. Clause! Now you may wonder, what will the activities be about? Well, we will separate the restaurant into two, one side for customers who are simply coming in for a meal; the other side, competitions to win some Christmas prizes! |
