What is your name?
Yui tipped her head forward at the vice-principal before her. She smiled softly at his question. “My name is Yui Muhito-Seul! I come from Hong Kong.” She rested her hands forward onto her lap.
What is your age and grade?
A small smile peered onto her lips. “I’m currently of the age of sixteen which puts me into Grade 10.” Her fingers twitched under the desk, perhaps it was nerves or perhaps of her young age.
What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? (250+ words)
The young female pondered for a moment. “I desire to lead a club for probably multiple reasons, the main one being my will to create an environment where students can come and openly debate about any given topic. I love rivalry and competition which is what I wish to uphold as a club leader. I don’t mind being the nice club but if another messes with us then we will not back down from some friendly rivalry!” She smiled softly. “I also want to share my techniques of how to dominate any conversation or how to use properly punctuated phrases to leave their adversary speechless. Additionally, I would like to create a safe environment for students to come to and learn new things, make new friends, join a student based community or find their courage through speech!” A thought crossed Yui’s mind. “On top of that I desire to create events across the school which peak interest in others, I want to bring my club on top and I think that debating is something that I personally think everyone knows how to do in life, in every single task or daily interaction people often debate but some do it better than others. It’s true that when you are debating a particular subject with someone it is one hundred percent better to know what you are talking about and to be well informed but if you’re trying to bluff for the sake of winning a debate then you need to know how to dominate a conversation and make it seem as you know what you are talking about, teaching people what I know of has to be my biggest will to make this club.” She sucked in a breath. “Because, in all honesty there aren't many clubs that have done what I am trying to create, the Journalism club states facts in their reports, some may assume that we do the same but debating is incredibly different since it is entirely based on statistics and facts. Debating is something that’s very important for your everyday life and I think that everyone is good at it if you help them achieve their full potential. Some people never do because no one ever pushes them towards that, often people drag them downwards, well the Debate Club will be open to debate about any subject and create a friendly community”
Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position? (50+ words)
Yui thought for a moment, the question rang in the air. “I think that you should choose me over other candidates applying for this position because I have connections. I come from Hong Kong, from a rich family which allows me to purchase things for my club. I also have connections with sports captains, councillors of when I was one for a few weeks, other club leaders and their members. Additionally, I know what I want and I know how to get it. I am seriously motivated because Debating is something which is incredibly important and I think I can drive people to their full potential.” A slight tap of her fingers against her leg “I am also a former debate club member in my old school which makes my experience valuable and wanted. But I also have quite the connections in this town and I feel as alongside of my money and experience they could help push this club to success, now I might be new to being in a position of leadership within a student environment but this year I started working at one of my parents companies in Hong Kong and when I moved the Karakura I started working long distance which gives me some experience to leadership skills.”

The Debate Club strives to provide a safe environment for students to learn new things and debate about topics that their friends might not want to! Additionally, if you want to grow out of your shyness then this club is for you, the debate club will push you to become confident. The main idea is to group people who are interested in DetailRP, learning new things and debating about things which can be quite interesting.

Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?
Yes there will be a few requirement;
- We recommend you know how to DetailRP, this can be taught along the way.
- You must be 16 or older to apply
- You must be able to attend a minimum of two meetings a month.
Provide one school-wide event that your club may host
SCHOOL WIDE DEBATE;
The club will debate against each other in the gymnasium in front of the entirety of the school, students will be able to provide their own arguments (This will be done by attending the club meeting that will happen 24 hours prior to the event, guests will be able to attend this meeting to give out their ideas, arguments and starts their initiation phase if interested) regarding the main topic. The main topic will be Karakura Politics and whether the attack on the Town Hall was because of an inside job or completely unknown to every single worker. Students will cast their votes on which side would have given the most convincing argument; Blue or Red.
Provide one flash event that your club may host
DEBATE STALLS;
The Debate Club will be dispersed in different stalls, each stall with contain one club member and a student or member of the faculty, a topic will be given by the club member in the stall and the student or faculty member will have to spontaneously create an argument regarding the topic, this will be at the same time, a recruiting event where the best student debaters will approached by the leader and if desired will be given an IC interview, if they succeed then they will enter a trial-period inside the club.

THE RESEARCH TASK;
While debate club members will debate quite a hefty amount of times, actual research needs to be done for these planned debates! Facts need to be acquired and opening debates structured, this task will lead to a bonding time for an example a sleepover, where the members will converse about all the research that they had acquired and any possible new intriguing debate subjects.
