Describe your activity on the server:
Firstly, I am a pretty new player, though I do think I have learnt alot in my time I've spent on the server, simply because I always somehow got with groups of great people. I also do believe that I am a pretty active player, not only that I play long on one day, also that I am a consistant player of the community, with a playtime of now 14 weeks, in barely a year which would be around 6 hours daily.

What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation to apply is in fact mixed with many things. The main part for me is that I always have had the dream to be in the KPD faction at some point in my SRP timeline, I do believe that I want do try it now, now is the timing I want to finally do what my past me wanted to achieve, join the KPD faction. However I also wanted to discover another side of SRP, now that I have been working in the Townhall, School as well multiple criminal organizations which some also gave me a deeper understanding on how situations tend to escalate, how to act quickly in CombatRP and generally how to RP properly if a combat scenario comes up. Many of my previous factions have been great experiences for me, meanwhile some others have been a lesson for me, wether that be a negative or a positive one. Additionally I'd like to mention that sometimes when I want to either RP with the faction or simply report an emergency I feel like I get no reaction at all, now with me applying I want to make it a better experience for other players who are experiencing the same pity as I find myself in sometimes. Now with that said my motivation for joining the faction hopefully has gotten a bit clearer.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Theres many things to note about police work, I'd like to start with the fact they secure the town. They also are included in many events just as every other faction, although I do think that KPD is something special. KPD duties vary and I as an outstanding person would think it's lots of fun to be part of the crew. They patrol, arrest criminals, deal with intoxicated people, deal with fires of a bigger extend and also listen to civilians who wanna help everyone by for example filing reports. Below will be everything else I know about KPD so far.

Main Division

Cadet [Trainees]
New recruits learning the basics of policing before becoming full officers, who are undergoing training and superivsion, they have restricted weaponry and they have to be careful with each of their moves. At the end of their cadet career they are going to face an exam where they'll eventually go out as a full-fledged officer.

Patrol Officer
Patrol Officers are full-fledged members of the KPD who have successfully completed their cadet training. Their main tasks are patrolling the streets to secure the safety of Karakura's citizens. They react to any emergency calls about suspicious activity in Karakura as well. They overall handle minor incidents and enforce laws, their visible presence alone can help prevent crimes as the first line of defense.

Corporal
Corporals are more experienced and trusted officers within the KPD who serve as a bridge between Patrol Officers and Sergeants. Their role includes assisting sergeants in daily operations and taking on a leadership position during patrols or active situations when higher-ups are unavailable.

Sergeant
Sergeants are team leaders within the KPD. They guide officers during patrols and special tasks, making sure everyone follows the rules and stays professional. They help train newer officers and correct mistakes when needed.

Lieutenant [Higher-Up]
Lieutenants are higher-ranking officers who help manage sergeants and patrol officers. They oversee daily operations, handle shift planning, and step in during serious situations. They also help enforce rules, review reports, and support the Captain in keeping the department running smoothly.

Captain [Higher-Up]
The Captain leads the main police division, managing lieutenants and sergeants. They oversee daily operations, coordinate major tasks, and ensure rules are followed. Captains report to the Commissioner and help keep the department running smoothly.

Commissioner [Lead]
The highest ranking officer in the KPD who is the leader essentially, responsible for overseeing the entire police department. The Commissioner makes major decisions, sets department policies, and ensures all divisions work together effectively to maintain law and order in Karakura.

Detective Division

Detective Constable [Trainees]
New detectives who assist in investigating crimes and collecting evidence under the guidance of senior detectives. They are learning essential investigative skills and gaining experience to handle cases independently in the future.

Detective Sergeant
Leads a small team of detectives, overseeing ongoing investigations and case management. Provides guidance to detective constables, ensures thorough evidence collection, and coordinates efforts to solve cases efficiently.

Detective Inspector
Supervises detective sergeants and detectives, managing more complex investigations and cases. They provide leadership, review case progress, and ensure thoroughness and efficiency in investigative work. They also assist with team management and training.

Detective Chief Inspector [Higher-Up]
Leads detective teams and oversees the work of detective inspectors. Responsible for managing complex investigations and ensuring smooth coordination between units. Reports directly to the Detective Superintendent to keep them up to date.

Detective Superintendent [Lead]
The highest rank in the detective division who is the leader of the detective department, responsible for overseeing all detective operations and managing the entire division. They set strategic priorities, ensure effective investigations.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
There is many reasons KPD is important to SchoolRP, wether it be ICly or OOCly. Firstly ICly they ensure the safety of everyone by stopping crimes such as fights, theft, illegal weapon use, or gang violence. They also uphold the city’s laws, ensuring characters who break the law face realistic in-character consequences. However thats not everything yet, since KPD also handle in-game emergencies such as violent incidents, or public disturbances, keeping the community safe and under control. Now that I have listed most IC reasoning I would like to go to the OOC reasoning; Firstly I do think their presence allows for richer RP scenarios: CrimeRP, LawRP, GangRP, court trials and interrogations which personally is the most important for me since I am really invested when it comes to proper RP. Adding onto that having KPD around creates IC consequences, which forces players to think carefully about their actions, making RP choices feel more meaningful and realistic.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I do acknowledge that it is important to attend trainings and the consequences if you do not attend.

In-Character (IC) Section

A soft thud of the steps of the male entering the interview room could be heard, his gentle and disciplined gaze piercing the air in the room could not be missed. Kamizuki placed his right hand on the chair that was infront of him before he sat himself down looking at the individual infront of him that was gonna interview him.

What's your character's full name?:
Kamizuki tilted his head slightly at the question simple, but asked with a certain weight. He paused, just briefly, then spoke with certainty.
,,My legal and full name is Arata Kamizuki-Meyer, pleasure to make acquaintance with you."

How old is your character (if accepted)?:
let his fingers lightly run along the edge of the table, a small habit that surfaced when thinking. He kept his tone respectful as he answered.
,,I am now in my 30s, exactly. I am not too worried about my age yet gladly."

What are your character's gender and pronouns?:
shifted his weight slightly in his seat, thumb brushing along the hem of his sleeve as he answered with a calm tone.
,,I am a man and I use he him pronouns as that feels the most comfortable for me, I do respect everyone who decides to do different though."

Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application:
(Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD):

gave a small nod, eyes briefly listening to the interviewer before he spoke. His hand idly tracing along the edge of the table as he answered
,,My highest academic qualification is Bachelors, which I completed before starting my career. I believe the skills and discipline I developed during that time have helped me prepare well for this role."

What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
shifted slightly, his thumb brushing once along the edge of the table before resting his hands together. He held a steady gaze towards the interviewer.
,,I grew up in Japan, although my german heritage and my family are a great part of my life which is the reason why I learnt german. I just cannot let that part of me fade."

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
thought for a second as if gathering thoughts, meanwhile he was brushing his thumb over his knuckles, shifting his gaze under the table during the process of gathering his thoughts. Then he offered the interviewer a small respectful nod, then looked up and began to speak.
,,I was born in Japan, with long blonde hair. I have hazel eyes, and people often say I look serious, especially when I’m focused. I always try to look neat and professional. What makes me unique is how calm I stay, even when things get stressful. I’m good at noticing small details and reacting fast when something happens. I care a lot about helping others and working as a team. I always try to do the right thing, no matter how hard it is."

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
He glanced around briefly, then focused back on the interviewer before straight going on and answering the question.
,,In professional situations, I stay serious and focused. I make sure to listen carefully and follow orders. I speak clearly and with respect, no matter who I’m talking to. I like to get things done the right way without rushing. In casual situations, I’m more relaxed and friendly. I like joking around sometimes and making people feel comfortable. I enjoy talking with my co-workers and my family, getting to know them better, but I still stay respectful."

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
He leaned back slightly, folding his hands thoughtfully.
,,I think working with my co-workers and being part of a team is very important. When we work together, things get done faster and better. Everyone of us has its own qualities that can help to solve problems in the end. I try to be friendly and respectful when it comes to meeting new people, because I know we need to trust eachother to do our job properly."

What's your character's backstory?
Early Life – Roots in Japan
Arata was born on the sun-soaked islands of Japan, a living reflection of the strength and resilience his name carries. Surrounded by lush mountains, ocean breezes, and a close knit community, his early years were full of warmth both from his mother’s love and the island culture. His days were filled with family gatherings, traditional music, and the stories of generations before him, passed down around bonfires on the beach. It was a life rich in tradition and belonging.

The Breaking Point – Loss and Violence
When Arata was just 13, his town was shaken by a sudden and unexplained wave of violence. What had once felt like paradise quickly became a nightmare. One tragic evening, his mother became one of its victims. Arata was too young to fully understand the politics or causes behind it but old enough to feel the permanent hole it left in his life. The shock of loss hardened something inside him, planting the first seeds of anger and determination.

A New Beginning – Moving to Karakura
His father, a quiet but fiercely protective man, made a difficult decision. Staying on the islands meant living in constant reminder of what they’d lost. Seeking distance from the memories and danger, the two of them packed their lives into suitcases and left for Karakura. The city, with its cold concrete streets and unfamiliar faces, felt like a completely different world compared to the outer spirit of Japan. For Arata, it wasn’t just a change of scenery it was the start of an entirely new struggle.

Adolescence – Fighting for Connection
Adjusting to Karakura wasn’t easy. Arata struggled to find his footing. His sharp tongue and short temper made him stand out, and his laid back island mannerisms clashed with the fast paced, often indifferent culture around him. Making friends felt impossible. Conversations often turned sour, and misunderstandings became common. Meanwhile, his relationship with his father grew strained. His grief made him distant, and his overprotectiveness only pushed Arata further away. But beneath his frustration, he carried something deeper: a relentless need to find purpose

Determination – Turning Pain into Drive
That unresolved anger, the bottled up grief, and the desire for justice became his driving force. Determined never to feel powerless again, Arata focused on building a future where he could take control. While others his age were distracted with fleeting trends, he honed himself physically and mentally learning discipline, studying hard, and keeping his eyes on something bigger than himself, the ability to protect others from what he had experienced.

Present Day – Officer of the KPD
Now, Arata proudly serves as an officer within the Karakura Police Department. Wearing the badge is more than just a job for him its a mission tied to his past. Every suspect he tracks down, every emergency he responds to, and every life he helps protect is a small step toward making peace with what he lost. Though he has found structure and purpose in the KPD, the fire inside him hasn’t faded. Behind the uniform, he’s still the boy from Japan fighting every day to make sure no one else loses the light he once did.

General knowledge

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
,,No you cannot, however if you happen to own a pocket knife you will be taken into custody and charged with posession of illegal weaponry which is a felony, but the possiblity of bailing you out will still be available."

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription

PARACETAMOL
Paracetamol is a medicine that helps reduce pain and fever. It is often used for mild pain, like cuts, sc****s, or minor head injuries. Since it is a basic painkiller, you don't need a prescription to buy it, and any EMS staff can sell it.

ASPIRIN
Aspirin is a non prescription medicine used to relieve mild to moderate pain, reduce fever, and decrease swelling. Its often used for headaches, muscle pain, or minor injuries. Low dose aspirin can also help lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes, but only if advised by a doctor.
¥4,500
COUGH SYRUP
Cough syrup is a sweet liquid medicine that helps reduce coughing, clear stuffy noses, and heal sore or irritated throats. It’s often used for colds, allergies, or other breathing problems.
¥6,000

¥3,000
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
,,If I witnessed my co-worker physically abusing an inmate I would make sure to immediately step in, deescalating the situation. Once the situation is under control I would report the incident to a higher-up. Personally, abuse of power has no place in KPD and I find it important to uphold the safety of everyone, even those who are already in custody."

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
,,If I saw my co-worker being assaulted I would not hesitate to call for backup, once backup call is sent I would step in, intervening the attack to ensure the safety of my co-worker. If the attack has already been taken to a further extent where my co-worker has been hurt lethal or majorly I would take the attacker into custody and then call EMS, I would use the time they take for arriving to provide first aid to my co-worker. Additionally I would arrest the attacker and charge them with assault on a government official, depending on the extent the use of weapons might be added onto the sentence."

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
,,If I found out about such a pity I would tell any higher-up my concerns about it, if neccesary I would put further investigation into it, gathering evidence to provide to the higher-up. The higher-up would for sure end it with proper actions."

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
,,I would firmly refuse the bribe, afterwards I would take them into custody to check their record. I would talk to higher-ups prior but they would probably pay a fine for bribery ultimately."
