I have been playing SchoolRP for about 2 years now. I originally joined the server on February 12, 2024. After I first found the server, I started playing regularly for around 6 months and spent a lot of time learning about the different types of roleplay. After that period, I began playing less frequently and eventually decided to take a break from the server for about 5 months. Once I came back, I became active again and have been playing regularly and almost every day since then.

Below you can see my current playtime. This playtime is from my main account that I have used for most of my time on the server. The account I am currently applying on was purchased recently.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I understand.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for Tutor.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
As a Tutor, the main responsibility would be to help students understand different subjects and support them in their learning. This includes explaining topics clearly, answering their questions, and helping them work through problems they may find difficult. A Tutor needs to provide clear and accurate explanations. It is important that students receive correct information so they can build a strong understanding of the subject. If someone is struggling with a topic, they would guide them step by step until they understand it better. Another important part of being a Tutor is maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times. Staying calm, friendly, and approachable, even if a student becomes frustrated or confused. By doing this, they can create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to keep trying and improving. Additionally, they would actively engage with students by being available and responsive whenever possible. They make sure the students can rely on them for help, whether it is reviewing material, practicing questions, or preparing for exams. Overall, as a Tutor, the goal is to help students improve their understanding, build confidence in their abilities, and create a positive learning experience for everyone.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
GangRP
I was first introduced to GangRP after about two months of playing on the server. At that point, I decided to apply and join a gang. However, after joining, I quickly realized that I did not really understand GangRP or CombatRP. I did not even know the basic aspects that were important for it. Because of this, I chose to leave the gang shortly after joining, and at the time I did not think much about it. Later on, after taking a break from SchoolRP and returning to the server, I wanted to explore different types of roleplay that I had not really tried before. Because of this, I decided to give GangRP another chance and joined a different gang. At first, I still did not know much, but over time that started to change. After being in the gang for several months, participating in activities, and attending trainings, I gradually improved my DetailRP. I also began learning more about CombatRP and how it functions. After about five months in the gang, I was promoted to a higher rank within it. Because of this position, I continued developing both my CombatRP and DetailRP. During that period, I also met many really cool people and had many enjoyable roleplay experiences with them.

FamilyRP
During my first few months on the server, I did not even know that FamilyRP existed. After some time, I was introduced to it and learned more about what it involved. Once I understood it, I decided to apply to the Meyer family. I was accepted and remained in the family for about four months. I am still part of the Meyer family today. At that time, the family was not very active, so I decided to join other families as well to gain more roleplay opportunities. Because of this, I joined the Watchers and the Grimes family. Both of these families were very active, which helped me improve my FamilyRP and also my DetailRP even further. While being part of these families, I also met many friendly and kind people on the server.

JockRP
I have also participated in JockRP on the server. In the past, I was part of the high school baseball team, but at that time my activity was not very high, so I decided to leave the team. After a few months, once I improved my activity and began playing more again, I decided to rejoin the team. Currently, I am part of the high school baseball team. I attend almost every training session and take part in team activities. During this time, I have experienced many fun and memorable team bonding moments, rivalry events, and other enjoyable smaller events that the team has done together. Through being part of the team, I have also met many of my close friends on SchoolRP, and because of the great experiences I have had, I do not plan on leaving the team anytime soon.

General
Overall, my experience with SchoolRP has been very positive. When I first joined the server, I quickly became part of a really nice group of friends. As time went on, I began exploring more types of roleplay on the server. The ones that interested me the most were GangRP, FamilyRP, and JockRP. By taking part in these different roleplay styles, I became more invested in the server and wanted to continue learning about the different roleplay opportunities that SchoolRP offers. I also participate in BusinessRP. Currently, I am a Deacon and the Vocations Director of the Archdiocese of Karakura, which means I am the Co-Lead of the verified business. In this role, I have hosted Sunday schools, events, ceremonies, and other activities while learning more about this type of roleplay. I am also somewhat experienced with AnimalRP. I received my first Animal Whitelist about six months ago. Even though I am still learning more about it, I actively play on that character and continue participating in that roleplay as well. Other than SchoolRP, I do not have experience with other roleplay servers or networks, as SchoolRP is currently the only roleplay server I play on.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to join the School Employee faction because, being part of this faction would allow me to support students in their learning and play an active role in the school setting. I find it rewarding to guide others, answer their questions, and help them better understand different subjects.
Another reason I want to join is because I am interested in expanding my roleplay experience. I have already explored several types of roleplay, and becoming a school employee would give me the opportunity to experience a new perspective on the server. It would allow me to interact with a wider range of players and take part in more structured and meaningful roleplay scenarios. Additionally, I want to help create a welcoming and supportive environment for students. Overall, I want to join the School Employee faction to help others, improve my own roleplay experience, and contribute to a supportive and engaging environment for all players.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
My character would first stay calm. He would not react with anger or insults, and instead keep a professional tone. He would look at the student and say something like, “That language is not appropriate, please stop.” If the student continues, my character would remain patient and give a clear warning. He might say, “I understand you might be upset, but you need to speak respectfully or there will be consequences.” He would keep his voice steady and not raise it, showing that he is in control of the situation. If the behavior does not stop, my character would take the next step and enforce rules. He could say, “This is your final warning. If you continue, I will have to see you in detention.” If the student still refuses to stop, my character would then proceed with handing the student a detention slip.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Lorenzo would react immediately and move towards them without hesitation. He would keep a firm and authoritative tone while trying to stop the fight as quickly as possible. He would step in at a safe distance and say loudly, “Stop fighting right now!” If the students continue, my character would try to separate them while maintaining control of the situation. He might say, “Both of you, step back and calm down immediately!” His focus would be on breaking up the fight and preventing further harm. Once the fight is stopped, my character would make sure both students are kept apart to avoid it starting again. He would then address them in a serious tone, saying something like, “Fighting is not tolerated. You will both face consequences for this behavior.” After that, my character would take anyone injured to the Nurse's office, and he would use his radio to request help from his available co-workers. Lorenzo would then follow proper procedures, such as reporting the incident to SLT, handing the students Detention. Throughout the process, he would stay calm, and remain professional while ensuring the safety of everyone involved.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
My character would not ignore it and would take the situation seriously. He would approach them in a calm but firm manner and say, “You need to stop what you’re doing right now, this is not safe.” If the employee doesn't change their mind, my character would make it clear that their behavior is unacceptable. He might say, “This is putting others at risk, you need to act responsibly.” He would keep a professional tone and avoid escalating the situation, while still being direct. If the behavior continues or is severe, my character would not try to handle everything alone. He would report the situation to higher staff or SLT. He could say, “I’m going to report this, this kind of behavior is not acceptable.”

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
He uses the space appropriately and does not cause any disruption. He would greet other staff politely if they are there. During his break, he would make himself a cup of espresso. While preparing it, he would also offer to make some for his co-workers. If conversations happen, he would participate in a friendly and respectful manner, such as asking them about their day and their plans for after school. He would also make sure to keep the area tidy and leave it as he found it. Overall, he would maintain a positive, and calm attitude.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me opens the classroom door and steps inside, gently closing it behind him before taking a brief look across the room to see the students and the teacher already present, then walks a few steps forward and gives a small nod to the teacher to signal he is there to assist before moving slightly to the side of the room to observe.

/me walks towards the coffee machine, takes a clean cup from the stack, places it under the dispenser, presses the start button and watches as the machine begins grinding and extracting the coffee. The liquid slowly flowing into the cup while he adjusts his position to make sure it doesn’t overflow, then once it finishes he removes the cup carefully and sets it on the counter. He then looks over his shoulder toward his colleagues and asks, “Does anyone else want an espresso as well?” before returning his attention to the cup, lifting it slightly, taking a small sip to check the taste, and then holding it in his hand while waiting for a response.

/me pulls his chair back slowly, the legs scraping lightly against the floor as he lowers himself into the seat, then leans forward with his forearms resting on the desk while keeping his attention on the student’s worksheet, briefly scanning what they have done so far before pointing at a specific question with two fingers and asking, “Okay- I see you haven't done this one yet. Is there anything specific that you don't understand from this task?” Lorenzo would slide the worksheet slightly closer to himself, and going through the question step by step while explaining each part in detail, pausing between steps to let the student attempt answering on their own, then checking their work closely, correcting mistakes by indicating the exact line where the error was made, and guiding them through the full solution process until they can follow along without needing constant help.

/me moves to the bookshelf, picks up the books one by one, checks their titles, and carefully places each of them back into the correct section in order, making sure they are aligned properly and not sticking out unevenly. Lorenzo then returns to the desk where he wipes the surface down, adjusts items such as pens and folders so they are straight and evenly placed, and opens a drawer to store smaller items that do not need to be on display. He then checked each area including the shelves, desk, and corners, making small adjustments where needed, and ensuring everything is placed correctly before stepping back and looking over the room to confirm it is organized.

Backstory

Early Life
Lorenzo Watcher, the younger brother of Benicious Watcher. He was born during a difficult time for the Watcher family. They used to have a lot of money, but by the time Lorenzo was growing up, most of it was gone. His father, Matteo, worked long hours doing hard jobs and sometimes even small crimes just to help the family survive. Lorenzo grew up witnessing the struggles of his parents and older brother. Life was difficult, and the family often had very little food or warm clothing during winter. Even as a child, Lorenzo was quiet and observant. He noticed things that others did not. While his brother Benicious often became involved in the family’s dangerous or difficult situations, Lorenzo preferred to stay away from trouble. He watched people carefully, listened closely, and tried to understand what was happening around him. He also noticed the sadness in his parents’ eyes and the stress in his brother’s movements. These experiences made him more patient, aware, and thoughtful than most children his age.

Learning Journey
From a very young age, Lorenzo loved learning. He spent many hours reading books whenever he could find them. Sometimes he borrowed old books from neighbors or the local church. He asked questions about everything he saw. While other children played outside or helped their families, Lorenzo preferred to understand the world around him. Even while his family struggled to survive, he continued to study whenever he could. He helped with small chores but always made time to read. He listened carefully to teachers and anyone who had knowledge that could help improve life for him and his family. Lorenzo also taught himself to play the guitar. He practiced often on his own and eventually began helping a few local students learn the basics. Through this, he realized he enjoyed helping others understand things they struggled with and watching their progress over time. This experience slowly developed his interest in guiding and supporting learners.

Teaching
After finishing school in Italy, Lorenzo moved to Karakura to continue his life and work. He decided to build a future where he could help others learn and grow through education. Moving to a new country was challenging at first, but he adapted quickly. In Karakura, he continued teaching guitar. After a while, Lorenzo decided to take his teaching skills to another level. This led him to become a tutor. Like his brother Benicious, Lorenzo chose a path connected to education.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I want to join KHS, because I enjoy working with students. My past experiences taught me how to deal with people who struggle with their studies.
In Karakura, I gained experience through guitar lessons and small tutoring sessions. Over time, I realized I prefer working directly with students and guiding them through tasks step by step. I want to join KHS to take on a more active role in a school setting and work closely with students during lessons.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I should be accepted because I bring experience working with students in a direct and practical way, especially through tutoring and teaching guitar, where I had to adjust my explanations and style of teaching depending on who I was working with. I also know Japanese sign language, which allows me to communicate with students who may struggle with verbal communication, giving me an advantage in helping a wider range of students. I am active and reliable during school hours, and I stay focused on my role while handling situations. Overall, I believe my experience, communication skills, and ability to adapt to different students make me a strong candidate for the Tutor role.
