⚕ Describe your activity on the server: ⚕
As of now, I am becoming more and more active, and right now I am at my peak playtime, being on for multiple hours a day, whilst having a full-time job and managing time to hop on and get some roleplay in. As of now, I am really attempting to push for a faction like this one, mostly because of the Detail aspects of it, but we will get into that later with my motivation. Most of my time on SRP is spent doing CrimeRP and FamilyRP, and I am very big on DetailRP when I am able to do so. If I am staring at the sky within the server, I am also a full-time tailor! That is one of my main passions and what I have been focusing on for the past while, but I have started to slow down and wanted to focus on a new chapter on SRP.

I am currently 21, pushing 30 unfortunately... As stated above, I do have a full-time job, BUT my schedule never changes and has not changed for the past 2 years or so. I am overall very consistent when it comes to activity and roleplay on the server. Keep in mind, I am applying on my main account, so this faction will be my main priority when it comes down to activity, as it is the only account I own.

[Grade-12] Vernin Draven
[Grade-12] Kone Kurozawa (Applying on)

⚕ What experiences do you have with roleplay?: ⚕

I have been in the roleplay aspect for I'd say, maybe 4-5 years or so? It all really started with FiveM and RedM, which I was very big on for a while before it kind of fell off. I am the most comfortable when it comes to DetailRP, which is my strong suit. DetailRP is what I think makes roleplay in a faction like EMS better. But that is not the matter right now, as I am talking about my prior roleplaying experience, I have been in multiple different servers across FiveM and RedM, and some smaller games when I was younger. I've always been a fan of RP in general afterall. To be fair, I've only been roleplaying seriously for 4-5 years, and I have been on SRP for I'd say 8-9 months, being involved with multiple different styles that are GangRP, JockRP, RomanceRP, and the school in general, being in classes, interacting with staff, and making a name for myself. Recently, I have been attempting to get more involved with FamilyRP, which is one of the reasons I joined the Draven clan and got the Italian language in my application above, because it gets me more involved. Across RedM, I have been in multiple factions as well, like Law Enforcement, which is like the police, and I have been in the Economic factions, which are like shops or farms. When it comes to FiveM, it is a very touchy subject, as most people think it is just shootouts and violence, but there are some more RP-based sides that have school factions and college factions, which were fun to be in. Though my love for those 2 games fell out maybe a year ago or so? And I'm trying to get involved with as much as I can on this server and be involved in the community. So, considering all these points, I'd say I am pretty experienced when it comes to roleplaying, as I've mentioned earlier.

⚕ What is your motivation for applying? ⚕

To be 100% its the Detail aspect. There is a lot of detail when it comes to certain things within this faction, and it is unlike the others, which have more talking to people like the other factions. In EMS, you really have to describe everything you do accurately and precisely, which is very appealing to me as I am a perfectionist myself, just striving to perfect things. I chose psychiatrist specifically due to the lore for the character I have in mind. He is pretty much a shut-in...He has dedicated his whole life to becoming something he never had, and he relates to each patient through it as well.

I really just want to expand myself into other parts of SRP, as this would be my first faction if accepted. I want to learn something completely new and a faction I can really call home. I'm pretty much seeking a faction that I can detail and type in. I am very good when it comes to explaining and detailing. Also, unfortunately, the hospital is somewhere I tend not to roleplay in because I haven't found a way to? If that makes sense, although it is very appealing and it draws me towards it, I just haven't found a way to interact with the faction and get involved in the roleplay there, but I'm hoping to with this application!

My biggest motivation is to get involved with something I'm not familiar with. Out of all the games I have played and servers I have been in, I have never been in a hospital faction, which I think will be very fun, as I love the roleplay aspects of it in this server from what I have seen. Knyfes is also my main account; all my playtime will pretty much go towards that character and motivation. When I get on track with something I really am interested in, I can be very, very motivated, which I am currently motivated to be part of this faction lol. Once I'm onto something, I get really good, really fast, which is why I tailor... a lot.

⚕ Which role are you applying for? ⚕

Psychiatrist

⚕ What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction? ⚕
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)

Leading roles

-Director-

The hospital director is the most important role within the faction; they oversee the entire hospital. They are responsible for multiple different things, like hiring staff, managing inventory, the promotion process, and finances. They supervise all departments and leadership roles, making the final decisions and taking care of top-tier issues. The director shape the reputation, upholds safety, and ensures that staff and patients have the highest quality of care within Karakura.

There are the Director and Deputy Director that are in this class.

-Clinical Lead / Chief-

There are 3 clinical leads, 2 for Psychiatrists, and 1 for Doctors. They each manage their own department, directing the operations, or which patient to handle within the Hospital. They will need to keep the Director updated on each person and updates on what is going on within the department they run. They are really the backbones of the department in all honesty because of how much they need to be in control and direct. They are more than just management, though; they are a direct bridge between staff and the director.

EMS Staff

-Paramedic-

They are the first responders; they get a location, and they are on the scene ASAP. They handle the most serious medical emergencies; they are the ones seen driving the ambulances to get to the location to stabilize and transport the patient for the needed operations. They provide safe and time-sensitive care for patients, and they thrive in high-pressure scenarios by keeping their cool and staying calm. Since they drive ambulances, they will need to be able to weave through traffic and stay composed at high speeds while also being content. They have very time-sensitive cases; it's a blend between multiple different things, like crucial decision making, time management, and dealing with high stress scenarios.

The classes within SRP are Trainee Paramedic, Paramedic, and Chief Paramedic.

-Psychiatrist-

This is what I am applying for; they serve as what I say as the aftercare for doctors. They may not do surgery, but they help with the healing factors to get people back on their feet and help them benefit in the future. They are pretty much the complete opposite of doctors, providing mental and physical health benefits. They will need to be able to read emotions and health issues to fix problems. They are vital and crucial to mental health and treatment; they act as a bridge between treatment and recovery, which is what I plan to do... plus they don't just treat conditions, they help build people back up and get them back to their healthy and stable life.

The classes within SRP are Attending Psychiatrist, Psychiatrist Resident, Psychiatrist Trainee, and the 2 Clinical Leads.

-Doctor-

Doctors are pretty straightforward; they focus on treating illnesses and injuries, like bones, stab wounds, and they identify the problem with the patient. Doctors are some of the people who really keep the hospital intact and running, whilst being able to manage time well and observe well. They have a very heavy responsibility within the hospital; they must keep calm whilst also being able to stay on track and diagnose injuries, problems, and keep tabs on people whilst being able to report to their department lead.

The roles within SRP are Doctor Trainee, Doctor Resident, Attending Doctor, and Clinical Lead.

Kone Kurozawa Backstory. (about 2k words)

Chapter 1: Childhood

It all started in a small city in Japan called Ama. On a sunny day, the 15th of May in the year 1999, to be exact. A mother with the name of Rin Kurozawa gave birth to a child called Kone. As the newborn looked around for the first time in his life, he would see his mother and his father looking at him. They were smiling at him, being extremely happy. He also noticed someone else looking at him, looking rather confused. His older brother Haruto, who was about six years old at that time. His body language showed that he was happy, but also didn’t know how a brother would be. The first few days after they got out, his brother was just keeping watch over his crib, reading lullabies to him. Kone enjoyed this, just hearing his brother speak. In the next few months, their relationship would become closer. Haruto bringing friends over and showing them Kone, being happy he had a brother. At this time, the child would already be able to crawl. As soon as he turned two years old, his parents would give birth to his sister, giving her the name of Sakura. He was way too young to feel any reaction from this, just waddling around the waiting room, with his brother keeping watch over him. His brother was clearly happy that their family was growing, though. When the younger brother turned the age of six, he would be able to walk and speak now. Keeping watch over his little sister with his brother, the family had reached an all-time peak of happiness. This was sadly shattered as the father of them, Kaito, was drafted for the military. They had no idea if he was going to be deployed or hurt somewhere. His mother would cry daily at night, his brother and him trying to comfort her, succeeding a little bit. After a month or two, he couldn’t remember too well, their father would return unharmed, he was just stationed at a military base. Luckily, this was the first and only traumatic experience he still remembers to this day.

When he turned ten years old, his only younger brother, Yuto was born. He was attending Shippo, a public elementary school. His grades were alright, not too bad but also not too good. In his glass, there was one kid making fun of him, for multiple reasons, main one being that he was way too short for his age. He was way too scared and too weak to fight back. So, he had to just accept it for the next year. When he turned eleven years old, he would start searching online for fighting courses. Not finding one at first, but after looking for a while he found a course for Muay Thai. Shaking with excitement, he clicked on it and there was actual useful information. He started following these tutorial day by day. Training with his older brother, not beating him at first but getting a little better. Kone didn’t want to be bullied anymore. The rage inside him was taking overhand and he wanted to satisfy it soon. The next few weeks he kept on training and training. Not stopping, his hands bloody and abused. His body was shaking with pain, but he did this all for one specific moment. And he thought this moment would be now. In school the bully cornered him, pinning him against the wall. Kone would be enraged by now, shaking with anger and frustration asking himself why the bully would do this. But it was too late now, he used all his strength to hit the bully. The punch would land onto his liver, making the aggressor fall in pain and clutch his stomach. His breath was fast, anxious but excited, he just started kicking the bully on the ground. All his pain and anger were now finally flowing into something useful. The bully was lying on the ground crying, the principal seeing this, immediately separating them. Screaming would be heard all over the school, Kone would be suspended for a week for this. But he was just excited and happy, he just didn’t care. With a smile plastered on his face, he would arrive home and tell his brother. This didn’t go as he wanted to since his brother told their parents and they were mad at him. He had been sent into house arrest, his parents not letting him leave at all. So, he would waste his time reading books that were lying around his room. Math, Japanese, History and many more. Kone read all of them. When he finally was allowed back into school he apologized to the bully, but the bully was shaking, just wanting to get away from him. He was way ahead on material and started getting good grades. He was fascinated by all the processes in nature and what Math could really do. He was now happy and interested in learning.

Chapter 2: Teenagehood

Time passed quickly, and he reached the ripe age of 13. He was a Teenager now. Growing taller, maturing. Still loving learning though. He would stay up day and night studying because it was just fun for him. He had no friends, no real social life so that’s all he could do. His parents had already noticed his better grades. They wanted to support their kids. So, they decided to send him to a private school so he could learn more efficiently. He started attending Aichi Shukutoku Junior & Senior High School. His junior years were boring, except for this one thing of course. He fell in love. It started off subtly. They would accidentally brush shoulders when walking in the hall and having a class together. Kone started to feel his heartbeat loud when she was running by, just glancing at her for a few seconds would make his pulse quicken. He was shaky around her, trying not to mess this up. He wasn’t even sure if she liked him back, but he just hoped. One day she sat next to him in class. He would ask her if she wanted to get food sometimes. What he didn’t expect was for her to agree to this. So, the next Kone and the girl who was called Aoi went out to get Ramen. He was so in love with her that he ignored all the red flags she had. A week after they got together and he was calm and collected, thinking this was the peak of his life. It was the second semester already, their relationship declining, but still going quite okay. Suddenly, a classmate came rushing in and dragged him out. He tried to fight him off, but he couldn't; the classmate pushed him into another classroom. He saw Aoi kissing another guy. His smile he had before, started to vanish. Angry, silent and with tears running down his face, he ran up to the boy she kissed. But his classmate held him back, knowing he would do something stupid that he would regret. As Aoi, his supposed girlfriend, saw him, she tried to deny everything that had happened. But he didn’t care just running off. The next few weeks felt horrible. The image of his first girlfriend just betraying him wouldn’t leave his mind. He would just vent this frustration by learning harder and starting to study biology. Anatomy was now an interesting subject for him. Slowly but surely, he stopped caring about his first love. Just trying to convince himself it was a waste of time.

By the time he turned 18, he would have graduated from high school. Life was good and his parents were proud. He would get a letter from the military. He would have to serve for a few months. He really didn’t mind that, though, since he hadn’t had anything exciting happen for a while. He arrived at the military base by bus. There were about 20 other people around his age, mostly males, though. The drill sergeant would look them all up and down. Kone was standing upright, straight, with a little confidence. Because of this, he would have to do 10 push-ups. Trying to speak against it only increased this sentence; he had to do 50 now. He knew better not to argue against it, but he was pissed at that. An hour passed in a flash as he finished the push-ups. The next few weeks the training was harsh. He didn’t speak up too much anymore and just started following orders. Over the next 2 years, he was just focused on getting through the rest of his 2-year term, but he was growing; his appearance started to change, too. On a particular day, they decided to test grenade throws if a war broke out. when it was the third guy’s turn, they accidentally gave him a real grenade. As he and the others looked at it land, it would suddenly explode, a shrapnel piece flying towards his right eye. Pain shot up to it immediately, and he would fall back down, his vision started to blur, passing out. As he woke up way later, he was in a hospital bed with multiple of his comrades' lives taken away. The doctors checked on, checked his vitals and told him it was a lost cause. They had removed it completely for safety reasons,90 and he was told to wear an eyepatch for the rest of his life because his eye was amputated... he never got the care he needed, no therapy and nothing to clasp onto. He was excused for the last 2 months from military service. His life was miserable there, he felt horrible and he didn’t want to speak. But he couldn’t let that hold back his dream, deciding to apply for a college.

Chapter 3: Adulthood

As he got home, he would be quiet and distant. Still hugging his parents and smiling, but inside, he was just a blurred mess. He would take note of what he didn't have, something or someone he couldn't clasp due to his trauma, and he would apply to Aichi University and luckily get in it due to his time in high school. As he got onto the college campus, he looked happy for a while, just getting stuff into his dorm. The major he chose was Behavioral, Rehabilitation, and Developmental Psychology. It would start off hard. He wasn’t used to only being able to see with one eye, yet being careful and collected. Just trying his best to listen to the 6 courses he was going through already. He was introduced to Developmental Psychology, the foundations of Clinical Psychology, Biopsychology, and more. He would do lab hours with a friend from Highschool that was also attending the college. He would also volunteer as a research assistant, he would recruit participants there, enter data, and run basic ****yses, whilst being able to do private therapy. He worked there 10 hours every week, his whole plan being learning, doing practical stuff, attending lectures, and doing the internship. He was engaged and had a good GPA, allowing him to pass on to year 3-5. He had about 600 hours of practicum/clinical hours and a lot of research experience. He had more controlled anger now, but he was still socially distanced but increased confidence in clinical tasks. He would study with his lab buddy or just learn alone. Whatever he wanted to do more.

A professor would notice his engagement. Offering him a formal apprenticeship at Nagoya Rehabilitation Hospital for the rest of his 5th year, he would gladly take it, starting to learn more there. He would receive an invitation to present a poster at a regional conference, which had a big impact on him being able to take in all the info from multiple different Higher-Ups within the college.

Kone had finally finished his advanced coursework in neuropsychology and rehab methods. He would be more engaged than ever, the supervisors at the hospital trusting him. At lab and other practical hours, he had he would be the calmest and most collected person; it's like what he had been through flipped a switch in his mind; he was the opposite of what he used to be, more controlled, focused, and just overall a smarter and better person.

Gathering hours here and there from his small apprenticeship, which paid off because he was offered a year-long apprenticeship slot for year 6 at Aichi Hospital, which is competitive and very hard to get into. He would gain a lot of responsibilities at Aichi Hospital, with his apprenticeship continuing, doing about 500 hours in year six. His social behavior is starting to normalize now, supervising junior practicum students and having a teaching assistantship. He would be starting to get closer to his lab buddy now, hanging out almost daily with him, when he had free time at least. In year 6, one of the most important college years he had, he would be extra engaged, exceeding expectations in the internship evaluation, and having roughly about 4,550 accumulated clinical hours towards licensure. Kone would finally finish college, completing his dissertation on social behavior and receiving a PsyD-equivalent in Behavioral, Rehabilitation, and Developmental Psychology. Having completed all his supervised hours. He and his buddy would plan together on what to do next. Kone chose to move to Karakura, A city that led with civilians getting critical injuries. He felt like it was the best choice as he would be able to do his wonders. What's next for Kone?

⚕ What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus? ⚕
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen. Some examples can be found here)

Kone's eye had lit up slowly, he would tap his finger on his knee as he said,

"Psychology, but to be specific, Rehabilitation, which is perfect for the number of people that get stabbed in this town... How does this hospital have this many replacement livers? Rehabilitation is also my main focus because I have been through it myself. It is a big part in my life ..." Kone would put his hand over his right eye, then spoke. "I also like to get involved with behavioral, which both pair well together in the long run. I am very observant and focus on body language when it comes to my patients. I am very understanding when it comes to emotions and the overall importance of putting myself into someone else's position." he said, taking a small breath, repositioning his eyepatch as it started to slip "I have struggled with mental health in my past, so relating and connecting to my patients is a very big part of how I work and act."

Kone took a deep breath, adjusting his seat, flicking the strap of his eyepatch. It almost seemed like a common habit he had when he was focused. His expression didn't change the whole conversation; he would take a large inhale before he continued.

"Something I would like to get more involved with is another type of Psychology, something I have studied in College but haven't been able to implement it into my patients' lives yet. That would be Developmental, something I am overall good at, but haven't been able to use it on a patient. It is something more long-term, the changes of someone over multiple years, how they change in life and how their emotions develop... personally, I think it is a big way to help with someone who can't grow correctly, and who has lifelong problems of development issues."

He said, he had a different expression on his face... he seemed somewhat ecstatic. He would then nod his head, standing up and shaking the hands of each person in the room before leaving.

⚕ Does your character have any work experience in medical positions? ⚕

Kone would mostly volunteer as a research assistant for many hospitals, working there for maybe 10 hours a week, whilst also being able to do private therapy for struggling students at college. He would be getting more involved with his trainer, who often let Kone be his assistant during therapies and take the wheel, which not many people were able to do there. He would overall be more engaging at the different hospitals, being noticed, and he was offered a year-long internship slot for years 5-6, which he accepted. The internship was for a hospital called Nagoya Rehabilitation Hospital, and an apprenticeship at Aichi Hospital, which really prepared him for hopefully getting a spot at Karakura Hospital.

Overall, Kone learned a lot within his adult life, being able to do his therapy treatments on college students, whilst being able to maintain his hours at Hospitals within the Aichi area. He was quite experienced in the
psychiatric department, which led him to land in Karakura, being one of the towns that led the most injuries within Japan.

1776306076935.png
⚕ Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others? ⚕

Kone stood at 5'11. He was unusually pale, almost porcelain-like, giving him a ghostly-like feature under some lighting. It almost indicated he was indoors all the time due to his dedication. Kone had very muted, dull blonde hair that was otherwise very well kept, and he was overall very clean, surprisingly. He spoke in a very calm and almost tired tone, almost seeming 100% serious when he said certain things. He had an eyepatch over his right eye, and he would constantly play with the strap, lifting it up and letting it slap back down. His eye was a grey-toned blue that had a small eye bag underneath it. Could he be this dedicated to studying his patients?

Kone had a very quiet sense of style, well-dressed, new clothes, and a sort of different style that had a different feel. His posture was quite relaxed, though sometimes he seemed to be on edge, looking at people's movements, picking up on habits, and always pointing them out to see if something was off about them. If he knew a habit, and you stopped doing it, it was almost his sole mission to see what was going on.

Kone was one of the eldest brothers within the Kurozawa family. He was very proud of his heritage, but didn't show it much. People see Kone as, without a doubt, very dedicated to his craft, which might be why he is so pale and serious. He is as honest as can be, never cracking a joke unless he is in a good mood and well-slept. Most people who didn't know him saw him as slightly unsettling, but once you got to know him, you definitely could learn some things from him, as he was extremely smart and dependable. He almost seemed hard to approach at first, being slightly intimidating to some of the common people in the town, but some just knew him as someone who had a slight eeriness to him.

Kone is, without a doubt, dedicated to what he does; he is at all times locked into what he is good at, being able to read emotions, reading rooms, focusing on habits and mistakes that some people didn't see.

1776209031046.png

⚕ How does your character act around the hospital? ⚕

If accepted, Kone would carry himself very tightly. When not with a patient, he would often be in a book rather than socializing; he would most likely only speak to a select few people he trusted and understood the most. Kone keeps his eyes on the whole room; he watches the movements of people, almost like he is always paranoid about certain things. Kone does not like to start problems; if there are problems with people, he will not confront them, and he will most likely bring it to the higher-ups, as he despises interactions like that.

His humor was very little seen. When you were able to speak to him, he was very well-spoken and had a firm but soft voice. He was always pretty serious when it came down to things; jokes flew over his head from time to time... Kone doesn't let things get to him as much as they used to.

Kone is very precise and chooses when to speak; he is very formal, and he has a very high confidence in himself when it comes down to it. Kone tends not to get very emotional or angry; he can control himself very well. Otherwise, Psychiatrist standpoint, people see him as somewhat of a role model, being very careful and cautious but also very good at what he does, making no mistakes.

⚕ Does your character function better on their own or with others? ⚕

Kone works better on his own. He likes to study and ****yze his patients in a very strange way to help with emotion and trauma. He is able to handle himself with others due to his time in college, but overall manages better on his own. Kone, when needed, really takes his time understanding patients and taking in all the info, making the best decisions in his head. Though, Kone does not mind getting input from certain people he is fond of, he likes to learn and adapt to whatever will help him through the future.
