The Factions of Karakura; Zachery Carluccio 2025
This post aims to reveal the poll results of two important questions:
1. “Which of the existing factions would you consider joining/applying for?”
2. “What faction do you think is most favored generally?”
The first question was not a requirement for the topic of this post originally, but we felt like the comparison of these results would offer much food for thought. Furthermore, the questions were primarily directed towards college students.
It’s good to mention that all 142 participants were allowed more than one answer. Despite the question being posed to college students primarily, other age groups were asked as well. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the results of question [1]:

It’s refreshing to see many people wanting to involve themselves with the hospital, especially in a city that can sometimes be littered with unfortunate events. Another noteworthy detail is the level of engagement with the Shinsei Seinaru Monastery knowing that the Shrine faction takes pride in being untouchable by westernization. It’s apparent that those who take an interest in the shrine share a similar sentiment with the Japanese culture.
Each volunteer who answered question [1] were also asked a follow-up question. Question [2]:

This time around, the results varied drastically with most factions not being mentioned at all. However, both EMS and KPD consistently shared similar results. Additionally, the shop faction was not mentioned in the slightest between the two questions!
What’s the main takeaway from all of this? What does the variation in these two results mean? It’s up to personal interpretation, but we can safely say. . .
