Describe your activity on the server:
Let’s run through this slowly.

CrimeRP in the beginning.
Alot of my time spent on this server has been dedicated utterly and frankly shamefully to CrimeRP. Not shamefully as in ew CrimeRP, just kinda stupid I've spent my entire time in SRP doing that. Starting in December 2022 my time on this server has ranged from CrimeRP to RomanceRP to FamilyRP and even at a time TownRP and AcademicRP. Whilst my roleplay experience is wide, it’s not exactly the best and is genuinely something I am working on steering towards a more respectful route. CrimeRP, however shameful as it may look on a police application, is one of the things that drove me to the position I am today. CrimeRP taught me many of the strengths I contain today, things like DetailRP, containing a measured and proper outcome throughout roleplay and handling situations properly even if it is at my negative. From the start of my experience on this server, since my “greenie” era I genuinely took this server and it’s rules as they should be and with correct measure. As per the rest, I kept to my “namemc” friend group until some random GangRper comes around and shows me the roles. As well as every other individual, I of course obey. CrimeRP and just any form of GangRP is something that I hold dearly to my heart as my progress bar, but now this is full with the direst cruelty I held, I think it’s time for me to move my experiences elsewhere. And well, thats just what I did.

ShopRP
Whilst this wasn’t my biggest strength, it was definitely a start to my more calmer lifestyle on this server. Of course still keeping CrimeRP in the background for all the following segments but I generally kept a rather well made perspective on everything that I did. Working the shop Shizukesa as well as Ryketsu until their disbanding and then spotting around some other shops to pass time and gain experience. Due to OOCly reasons I did have to leave alot of these for things like breaks and other measure that were simply just too important. This allowed me to grow my strengths in things like formatting, using logs as well as frequent meetings.

AcademicRP
I have spent time in almost all of the part of the School part of this server. I spent time as a Teacher, Professor and even a Councillor and it was some of the most valuable time I spent in any of the other factions. AcademicRP allowed me to extend my skills in terms of communication and calming down scenes like fights or simple insults and issues that were calmed pretty much to a halt. Being a Teacher and Professor also allowed me to provoke my skills with things like preparation, targeted lessons as well as keeping to a schedule in terms of my planning for lessons. Being in this job also introduced me to roles and a far more serious and planned out log system in terms of discord. Working in council allowed me to vary my characters and gave me time to work and produce proper characters that I before just couldn’t.

TownRP
This was around the highest in terms of reputation and Roleplay I ever got. This was the final boss of all factions that I really really enjoyed and I felt good whilst playing. I played this from around July 2024 until my break in October 2024 when I simply just had to leave SRP for a while. This, being my most long standing faction (unless you count CrimeRP) was simply the most enjoyable and really cleaned up my skills in terms of quota logs, dedication and continuously logging onto SchoolRP.

FamilyRP
I also own the Mues family, which is new but also a work in progress. This contains roughly 10 people and is growing rather quickly. This rather quickly taught me to be more active, and allowed me to engage in things like advertising, as well as getting my name among others in my family out there. Owning mues has overall assisted me with my administrative skills as well as my communication, not only to my own family members but to those around me.

Present.
Up until the time posted on this application, I was a member of the street gang Parabellum, and was a higher up in the Vanguard division, pretty much taking control of the defense side of the gang. Moreover, I am a black market associate that I have not yet left (Due to agreement with Hirathex) but plan on dearly leaving the moment that this moves foward if accepted (Lets hope chat).

Schedule
This varies so much dependant on school and my overall life but will generally keep to this

During school terms
Weekdays
3pm-7pm
Weekends
10am-7pm

During school holidays
10am-7pm consistently.

What is your motivation for applying?:
When I first stepped into this server I really kept a keen eye for CombatRP. Being a part of the CrimeRP community really dragged this into my life and I found a profound passion in assuring that I constantly improved and constantly assured that this was a part of my roleplay experience. I found a certain passion in the way that the different dynamics mixed and intertwined, the way that one action could simply decide an entire situation and the way it connects and plays out. Moreover, as much as I have enjoyed my time in GangRP/ CrimeRP, I do think it’s time that it comes to an end even if it means completely just for this faction. The repetition of everything that I do and could have done is wearing thin on entertainment and it’s just simple that I must stop this era. Frankly, it’s having an effect on my playtime in SchoolRP. Joining KPD would give me an entirely new perspective to CrimeRP and my Roleplay as a whole. Moreover, KPD would give me a reason to log on and mentally will almost drive me to up my activity, a skill I’m really trying to do my best to work on. Furthermore, my time in TownRp clearly demonstrated to me that I had a passion in law and a passion in justice; even during my time in CrimeRP I subconsciously make sure everything is just and in order and it’s something I’ve realise can truely come into hand in this faction specifically. I also feel that experiencing both sides of the CrimeRP story would really help me build more creative and intuitive RP scenarios both in my time in this faction as well as in other scenarios thereafter. Additionally, I wish to further improve my skills in communication, quick thinking and detail. KPD would further provoke these skills as they are highly needed and it’s a good chance for me to get trained by officials. In addition, I’ve genuinely always had such a strong outlook for KPD from the start of my time in SchoolRP. It’s not easy to prove this, but this is like my seventh application to this faction and this faction only. I’m genuinely so passionate about this particular faction and there is genuinely a drive that I have for it. Being a part of something bigger such as KPD is truly amazing to think of and I’m very eager to contribute to new ideas and creativities within the faction. I also like the idea of the events and lore that happens within KPD [For example the arson attack on KPD station before it was previously rebuilt and the corrupt officers that have occured within the past]. The immersive roleplay that this faction can provide me with has been the continuous driving force for all seven of these applications that I’ve written.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
The behavior of officers in the KPD is one of the most important things of being an officer and is taken very seriously. When you even apply to the force your reputation is very much taken to mind before you are accepted. It is expected that officers are well-rounded individuals who can demonstrate patience and maintain proper behavior at all times. This expectation extends beyond duty hours, as officers are seen as representatives of the faction as a whole. During role-play, you are supposed to, at all times be seen as a serious role-player and are meant to take the game extremely seriously. It is important to avoid any behavior that may be perceived as trolling, as this reflects poorly on both the individual and the faction. In the event of a stressful situation, you are expected to keep yourself calm, and continue with role-play in the most suitable manner, seeking assistance from staff if necessary or rules are broken. Engaging in arguments or instigating issues will not reflect positively and may result in consequences.
Moving on, let's talk about the importance of activity within the faction. Activity is a key aspect of being an officer in the KPD. It was briefly mentioned during the application process when discussing quotas. Officers are expected to be as active as possible, and if there are any circumstances preventing them from doing so, it is important to inform a higher-ranking member and submit an inactivity log. This ensures that others are aware of the reasons behind the temporary lack of activity. Striving to meet the quota consistently not only demonstrates dedication but also increases the chances of earning promotions in the future. Boosting your activity shows other people your dedication and commitment.

QUOTA
On the subject of activity, like all other factions there is a sense of Quota. Quota is a cumulative credit that an officer gains through being active and continuously contributing activities and duties towards the faction. It’s a way to measure and ensure engagement within the department, showing off both your skill and your commitment to the faction. You can fufill your quota through a wide range of tasks such as : visitations, conducting arrests, patrolling designated zones, executing apartment raids and various others that I will talk about later. Moreover, each activity has their own limit preventing you from just abusing one kind of quota point. This allows people to have a more well-rounded approach to duty and ensures variety in day to day activities. ITEMS

Hands-on Items
BatonThe police baton is a compact, non-letahl tool issued to all police officers, even the little cadets. It's main function is to subdue suspets and bring them to complaince without causing too much long-term harm. This item has the range of two blocks, and requires an action to be drawn- as well as a winning roll to the officer. However, this weapon can be mugged and taken from an officer during combat, this is when the officer is KO'd or disarmed
RadioA literal lifeline or just a simple casual form of talking with other members. This is a waterproof communication device utilised to connect with EMS, the radio can be handheld or worn on the shoulder. It is completely unbreakable no matter the perms. Actions are required to speak within range. Again, this accessible by all officers.
BreathalyzerThis is a completely handheld devise used by all officers to measure the BAC (Blood alchohol concentration) of people suspected of being drunk. This is often used during traffic stops when an individual is being suspected of any form of driving crime. This can also be used with probable cause such as erratic behaviour, slurred speech and imbalance. An action is needed and this item cannot be mugged.
HandcuffsThese are a fundamental tool used by all officers to safely restrain individuals who are: under arrest, being detained or generally showing aggrivating or aggresive behaviour. When applying them to a victim, you must action (e.g., "/me reaches for their belt, retrieving a pair of metal handcuffs before attempting to clasp them around the suspect’s wrists") and if the individual rolls against you it is seen as resisiting and can be further demonstrated as a crime. Moreover, when handcuffed individuals cannot attack, pull out weaponry or flee from the scene. Furthermore, Cadets must be supervised when using handcuffs.
Stun BlasterAs one of the must used tools in the faction, this is a non-lethal-weapon causing a two minute shock to the victim. The stun blaster cannot KO opponents, cannot be mugged and requires an action unless the target is in active movement. It must be actioned to be taken out unless out of range, with a seven block firing range and the grant of majoral permissions if used or hit to the opponent.
CrowbarThis is often used in raids for pulling doors open. This item delivers a two-hit knockout and holds the range of two blocks. It can be mugged but necessitates valid permissions. Action is needed for equipping or using and it is limited to only Corporals or higher. {Staff must also be present to open doors when used.
Riot shieldThe riot shield is primarily used for defense against attackers, not only protecting from bunt and sharp weapons, but also used as an offense to push against any individuals or crowds, being known as the best line of defense with its steel lining and bullet-proof glass.
Gas MaskThis is completely legal and is often used in riots or high risk situations when a mask may be needed to protect the officers identity. It can be mugged with appropriate permissions and effectively neutralises the impact of pepper spray.
ItemRP Items
Luminol SprayThis is a roleplay item that is employed by officers to identify hidden bloodstains or dents on weapons and objects. This item cannot be mugged.
First Aid KitThis is a standard first aid kit that is equipped with essential medical supplies such as a tourniquet and some gauze pads. It adds five more minutes to the bleed out timer often useful for EMS and paramedics when they arrive to the scene.
Body CameraThis is a waterproof camera attached to the front of the officers body with a continuous recording status that is constantly uploaded to the cloud. It can’t be removed but can be broken with two strikes with blunt force, or a singular stab.
Latex GlovesThis is something all officers have equipped to their uniform but it carries its own purpose. These can’t be mugged and show no fingerprints for things like inspections or searches.
FlashlightUsed as a torch to light up areas.
Baton HolderHolstered on the waist and carries the baton
Key HolderHolds keys for rooms within the station as well as any jail cells or offices
KeyOpens these rooms offices or jail cells.

Emergency Levels.
Whether this is still a thing or not I remember being told about this and even seeing it during events. These display the threat within the city to active officers. The main purpose of these are to show any officers the amount of troops or backup officers they need or should have whilst patrolling or attending calls. There are three levels.

Level 2: Safe
This is known to be the safest out of all the other levels. Within this level you are permitted to patrol alone with the permission of a HU; however, it is not recommended anyway and usually completely denied. Within this level, it is mostly expected that you have an one or two extra officers with you at all times.

Level 3: CAUTION
This is when the crime rate increases and the city starts to become rather dangerous. At this level you aren’t allowed to patrol by yourself in any scenario. If you wish to patrol, you may have another officer attend with you however it is compulsory that you do not do this alone. Let’s say you get a call about a disturbance, you should have two or three officers with you- and if it involves weaponry you should bring four to five. In most cases, there should be two officers with tranquilizers and then the other officers being equipped with stun blasters and / or riot shields. This is to assure the safety and power of the entire team.

Level 4: Danger
Obviously by the name, this is genuinely the one where its the most dangerous. With this level, it is expected and mandatory that you have three cops to patrol and four officers for situational calls. You should have, for weaponry related calls, around five to six officers with you, containing the same armory as previously stated.

RADIO CODES
10-4 - Understood
10-20 - Location
10-19(H) - Returning to police station (H) hospital
10-8 - Responding to call
Code 0 - Panic button
10-10 - Officer/EMS member off duty
Talking about off duty, Officers get 10 hours a week off duty and can be used at any time in the week and refreshing on Mondays. Additionally officers can (Possibly) buy additional off duty hours with achievement points if it is the same as EMS. I know for sure Officers can earn achievements that they buy stuff, I do not know the full rewards but I know one is upgraded uniforms.
Additionally, It is important for Detectives to know some of the extra radio codes such as the following. I don't know how much I'm allowed to say about this so I will not give a meaning.
10-45

ARRESTS DETAINING FINES AND CONFISCATIONS
We’ve had enough sections now let’s just tone this down a little.
Arrests happen when someone is caught doing something completely illegal and there is solid and complete evidence to back it up. After the arrest there are quite a few important steps that the officer has to complete before telling the person to switch roles (such as logging off or changing characters). Firstly, the officer will list the charges and ask if they wish to plead guilty or not.
> If they plead guilty, the officer will inform them of the length of their sentence time and if they can post a bail (if they can, the price as well). There’s also a large chance of a mugshot before wrapping things up.
> If they plead not guilty, they’ll have to pay a court fee of twenty five thousand yen. The officer will then write up their side of what happened, gather all and any evidence, and also get the suspect’s side of the story. This is then forwarded to the Cheif Judge and / or the Mayor, who decides whether the case goes to trial. If the person doesn’t or can’t pay the court fee, they are seen as guilty.
Detainments happen when officers think someone may have been involved with a crime, but don’t quite hold the full evidence yet. This person can be questioned in a holding cell or in an individual interrogation room in cuffs. The main idea here is to gather information or evidence. Ideally, (but not always true) the person cooperates and maybe even confesses. Even just being at the scene of a crime or just a spectator, that’s enough probable cause for you to be detained for questioning.
Fines are generally there just for the little petty crimes- like not having your ID or driving recklessly. If you can’t pay the fine, you may be sent to do community service in the police courtyard to make up for it - doing things like chores or just clean-ups that essentially pay off your “debt”.
Confiscations are pretty common dependant on what’s going on. Officers may take away illegal weapons during a pat-down or confiscate things like alcohol from people under 20. The consequences really depend on what is taken but generally it’s just a warning - unless you have murderous weapons, thats never fun.

OTHER PROCEDURES
Raiding a residence
When it comes to raiding someone’s home, there’s generally a clear step-by-step process involved- it’s not just simply barging in. Firstly, the officers involved need to have a strong sense of evidence or valid cause to believe something illegal is going on inside the property. It’s not actually just some boredom or hunch, they need to provide a solid case. Once they have that, they apply for a warrant, which has to be properly approved by a government personnel, usually a judge. Once the warrant is greenlit, the raid can actually happen. Officers in the raid generally will gear up with things like riot shields, tranquilisers and a gas mask. A crowbar is also equipped to get into locked doors gates or chests. During the actual raid, the officers will sweep through the place looking for anything illegal at all- whether this be weaponry, alchohol or evidence of previous illegal activities. If anything suspicious or outright illegal is found, it is used as evidence in a future arrest or used as probable cause for an arrest.

Swatting
This is only a procedure that happens in high-risk situations, and is treated downright seriously from the moment it starts. When officers are called in for a swat-level operation, they completely get into things like bulletproof vests, riot shields, gas masks and are often equipped with some of the most lethal weaponry they can get to hand. The goal here is to keep officers safe as they control the situation in the hostile, often chaotic settings. Basically, swatting is all about being prepared for the worst- knowing completely that something could go wrong fast and equipping themselves as necessary.

Manhunts
Lasting for 45 OOCly minutes, manhunts are initiated when an individual escapes from a crime scene, where they would have otherwise been arrested or suspected of committing crimes. Officers are tasked with tirelessly pursuing the fugitive during this timeframe, utilizing CCTV for enhanced tracking capabilities. If the criminal is not apprehended within the allotted time, they may change their appearance and log out. Following this timer, the individual is placed on a wanted board, marked as "dead or alive," until captured.

Patrolling
Patrols are a key part to an officer’s daily routine. Officers of all ranks are allowed to take part in patrols (other than cadet’s who must be accompanied by a Higher-Ranking officer until they gain the next rank and more experience). It’s generally safer to go out in pairs, especially when heading into danger zones such as the powerplant, forest, tunnels or near turfs. The goal behind patrolling is simple: spotting trouble before it occurs. Officers are there to keep an eye out for anything suspicious, shut it down early and de-escalate situations before they get out of hand.

Searching.
Par example, let’s say you come across someone acting shady- maybe they’ve got a mask on. In that case, officers will keep to a rather routinely procedure. That person will be asked to face the wall and will be searched, with proper tactics. There are many different formations. The 6 O’Clcok formation is the most common. It involves the officer exchanging positions with the individual once they face the wall, ensuring that the officer’s back is not against the wall and with the individual standing before them looking away. This is normally utilised when the officer is alone and doesn’t have additional units to stand back to back with. The ring formation closely resembles the 6 O’Clock but instead the searching officer doesn’t switch positions with the individual being searched. In this formation, other officers surround the searching officer, forming a ring around them. This adds a layer of security and support to the officer making it a safer search with less chance of harm. Moreover, there is the cone formation. This is like the ring formation but with less people involved. This is just surrounding but with each needed angle protected as the individual searches. Moreover, we are completely aware these formations are only really utilised in high-risk situations such as crowd control or de-escalating a combat situation. If they carry something like a mask or a metal bat, you will use Luminol spray to check for signs of damage, dents, blood or anything else within that region. If your gear shows signs of being used in a crime you are detained and questioned- often by a detective or high-ranking officers. To add, if you have a weapon or mask under a felonious record you will have your items confiscated and often burdened with a wonderful, 25000 yen fine.

Desk duties.
Whilst it’s easy to picture officers continuously being a nuisance to all those criminals out there, alot of what the department actually does happens right behind the front desk. This is usually where cadets cut their teeth. Seeing as they can’t leave the station without permission they’re often the ones handling the front desk. Their responsibilities may include things like answering questions from the public, taking reports and even processing bail payments and so forth. In the situation of someone coming in to report a crime, theres quite a procedure to it. If I recall correctly, officers will first do a quick pat-down for weaponry just to maintain safety and then, if needed, guide the individual into the interrogation room for a deeper discussion and deduction. These interview are often used for evidence for potential crimes and trials in the future. This duty also covers visitations, which is when someone wants to see another individual who is held at the station. Before they get to the detainee, they’ll go through a regular search and the visitation needs to be cleared based on what the person inside is charged with. If it’s a serious crime, you can easily be denied. This is to keep others in the station safe at all times. Whilst it may not be the flashy high-speed chase or raid, this duty is essential. Being the bridge between the public and the police.

Emergency Calls
The police department and hospital in Karakura receive daily emergency calls from the city's residents. These calls are made whenever there is a situation that requires the assistance of either the Karakura Police Department (KPD) or Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The majority of the emergency calls, specifically 110 calls, are directed towards the KPD. Upon receiving a call, a police officer will answer and gather as much information as possible about the situation in order to effectively plan their response. Depending on the severity of the situation, officers may respond with riot gear and shields to address the threat, although this is reserved for highly dangerous calls. In cases where medical assistance is required, officers will contact EMS for backup. It is important to note that misusing the emergency hotline can have serious consequences, including arrest for Obstruction of Justice, especially if it is a repeated offense after being previously warned.

DIVISIONS
The roles are in the following order.
-> Commisioner
-> Captain
-> Lieutenant
->Sergeant
-> Corporal
-> Patrol Officer
->Cadet
Commisioner
This is the most responsible, pivotal roles in the entire unit. These serve as the head of the police force having the responsibility of overseeing department operations, conducting meetings and collaborating with their trusty higher-ups on matters like promotions, applications and anything else to ensure a safe, and functioning department. These are often conduct training's, issue out strikes and are notorious for being the most representational, responsible people in the entire faction.
Captain

This is about the highest rank you can get without being the Commisioner. These bear the responsibility of supervising the Lieutenants in the main division to stop any misuse of power or general misconduct. They play a pivotal role in selecting suitable candidates for promotion as well as trainings and maintaining things like activity in the division as well as general conduct of their division. They assist with the application reviews and are some of the most responsible people within the faction overall.
Lieutenants
These are positioned just below the Captain and are the integral members of the Higher-Up team. Their main responsibility is to monitor and examine the conduct of any lower-ranking officers, exterminate cadets, participate in any decision making process' including applications and promotions as well as overseeing the Sergeant training's with the Captain. Being a Lieutenant also grants your permission to use the police cruiser.
Sergeants
These again are just under the Lieutenants. These are individuals who must demonstrate a ready and eager approach to this trole through taking on training and responsibilities. Similar to Lieutenants, Sergeants lead calls, conduct things like line-ups and resolve any issues that go through officers or civilians. Promotion to this role requires showing other Higher-UPs your suitability for this role and any above you, and grants you permission to a tranquiliser.
Corporal
This rank is the best rank you can be without having too much power. You are introduced new responsibility through tools like a crowbar and police bike. With the crowbar, you can participate in raids and assist in searching residences. Moreover, this role gives you permission to train upcoming cadets and you may lead your own cadet training.
Patrol Officers
When you pass your examinations, you are promoted to this role as a Patrol Officer. This allows you to go off-duty with permission, patrol without supervision and respond to any call-ins independently.
Cadets
Upon acceptance into the police faction, individuals will transition into the role of cadets under the guidance of higher-ranking officials. As cadets, they are bound by certain restrictions, including the inability to independently respond to calls, take time off, or leave the station without supervision. However, it is important to note that there may be occasional exceptions to these regulations if authorized by a superior. The primary responsibility of cadets is to participate in a comprehensive two-week training program, which encompasses both theoretical and physical aspects. Following the successful completion of two examinations, covering their acquired knowledge and skills, cadets will progress to the next stage and be promoted to the position of Patrol Officer.

DETECTIVE DIVISION
Next, there is the Detective Division. This division shares some similarities with the Main Division but also has its own uniqueness by granting them additional responsibilites and capabilities. Detectives have the authority to go through fingerprint ****ysis, carry out interrogations, compile and work on case files, preform patrols and engage with stake-outs. Moreover, they are authorized to collect blood samples and establish temporary surveilolance if needed. Due to the secrecy of their work, I won't go through anything else but theres the main underlining of their procedures. It's important to denote that these specific abilities are exclusively reserved for detectives only. However, some Officers can go through with fingerprint ****ysis as well as blood samples. Being in this division will also grant you a little [Detective] tag on tab and within the game, as well as your own uniform. Here is a list of the rankings:
DSI / Detective Superintendent
This role holds the highest and most prestigious role in the division, bearing the responsibility of overseeing all operations within it. They have authority to select officers from the Main Divison to come and be a Detective based on their way of approaching scenes and their general activity. Moreover, the DSI shows their own role in identifying potential candidates for the DCI.
DCI / Detective Chief Inspector
This is a senior rank within the Division, a right hand man to the DSI. These share similar responsibilities to other high-ranking officers in the Main Division [Such as a Captain], yet also have the privilege of conducting detective trainings and examinations. The DSI is responsible for selecting candidates for the DCI position, placing them in an exam to determine this as well.
DI / Detective Inspector
This role grants individuals to access specialized resources such as a tranquilizer and a police cruiser. DIs are also authorized to conduct their own detective trainings for Constables.
Detective Constables
These have around the same responsibilites and ranks as a Corporal in the main division, and have the abilty to train and teach the new cadets of their way of owkring. These are put in the more dangerous positions like raids and searches.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
If Karakura were an actual city on the map, let’s be real—it would easily rank as one of the top three most dangerous cities in the world. We’ve got everything from petty crimes to full-blown gang wars happening in the shadows. And while the server is technically centered around school life, it’s the presence of law enforcement that keeps the entire ecosystem from collapsing into total anarchy. Police personnel bear the responsibility of stopping criminals but also ensuring the safety of the innocent. The resolution of all crime-related matters falls under the duty of KPD and emphasized their crucial role in maintaining order. The KPD diligently undertakes the duty of addressing corrupt activities, safeguarding the city, and contributing significantly to SRP's integrity. The KPD is more than a faction—it’s a backbone. Their work helps define the city’s atmosphere, keeps the server balanced, and provides that constant tension and dynamic storytelling that makes SchoolRP feel alive. Without them, Karakura wouldn’t be nearly as immersive or structured. Their dedication truly shapes the entire experience.

[ THIS WILL BE ROLEPLAYED OUT WITH THE SAME QUESTIONS AS IN THE ORIGINAL FORMAT, I HAVE JUST MADE IT LOOK MORE IC ]

The man took of his leather gloves as he placed them inside his jacket pocket. The man took a sharp, measured breath as he simply placed his hands into the deep realms of his pockets as he walked into the interview room.

[-]
Interviewer: The sound of a tape starting would occur as he reached for a pen and paper as he started “What is your name?”
The man clasped his hands together as he leaned forward with a bright smile.
Individual: A faint sound of a cough to clear his throat before the man began talking “Vaniruno Malevochin, but please- just call me V."

Interviewer: The faint sound of a ballpoint pen scraping atop the paper was heard as he spoke once again, maintaining a monotonous tone as he asked “What is your current age and date of birth?”

Vaniruno: He took no time to pause and simply answered the question, his voice following that of a warm, rich and soothing tone, paired complimentarily with a russian accent “28, I was born December Third 1996 just west of S.t Petersburg. I’ll be turning 29 soon enough, however quick this age
catches up to me.”

Interviewer: Took a little bit more time to write this information down but soon began questioning once again “What is your gender and pronouns?”

Vaniruno: The man simply answered the question, no change in expression notable as he stated “Male, He/Him”
Interviewer: He wasted no time writing this down as he swiftly, almost suddenly moved onto the next question. “What is your highest academic role?”

Vaniruno: “As of my time in Karakura, I have only achieved Grade-12”
Interviewer: Nodded along, bringing down his pen as he simply ticked off a box, continuing slightly more tonal to his next query “What Languages do you know currently besides Japanese?”

Vaniruno: A faint toothy smile appeared on his face as he leaned back against the chair behind him with a slight chuckle in his voice “Quite a few to be fair” He took his hands out of his pockets as he began counting of the languages with each finger “Japanese Sign Language, Greek and Russian! As a young boy I had plenty of time to read, so rest assured that with these three languages I'll be able to communicate well - even to those that can't hear.”
Interviewer: He nodded, placing down the clipboard and pen as he simply looked into Vaniruno’s eyes. “How would you describe yourself in a professional situation?”

Vaniruno: The man took a deep, measured breath as he leant forth too, talking in a rather slow rich voice “I’ll say it simple. I generally enjoy my own company but I also find myself relying on the feedback and opinions of others based off my actions or decisions. I also think of myself as one with a particular strive to improvement. I find myself constantly yearning for constant self-improvement and dedicate myself to making my environment and other peoples the best that it can within my power. However, for the most part, I prefer to remain silent as it greatly minimizes the amount of unnecessary drama that I have to deal with. I also find myself in a rather creative state during my professional work. I like to think of myself as a man of control, I am able to control myself emotionally, physically and assure that those around me gain the same control that I do. I often ponder over ideas of making things better or new and different ways to approach things purely to assure the benefit of others around me. Of course, I will make an effort to establish friendships while I am present, but if it does not concern me or my name is not mentioned, I generally refrain from getting involved. I endorse the idea that whilst I am distant at first, I am a friend that will last you a while. I don't like to hold myself to an ego, I much preffer to do the job for the purpose of being something great. You want someone to get the job done? I'm the first number in your speed dial.”

Interviewer: “Now tell me about the limelight, how are you in a casual surrounding?”

Vaniruno: Took a few breaths as he just looked at the table, pondering over the difference. “Honestly I wouldn’t say there is much difference between me on work and me in my day to day life however I would recognise the change in professionalism. I like to see myself as a joker in both situations however my professionalism around citizens is far more prioritised on duty than it is out of it. On duty I think I’m more almost numb where as off duty I’m just a jovial, rather astute individual. I like to talk to people not only to fill that odd silence but to assure that the people around me feel comfortable. One of the main things I chase is the enjoyment of making people around me safe and comfortable, whether thats through my terrible sense of humour or genuinely making them have a better day or life. With people that I don't know, that does slightly change as I do recognise the fact that - I don't know how to talk to people - but yeah other than that I'd say I'm okay.”
Interviewer: “Would you count yourself as a believer in teamwork?”

Vaniruno: “Honestly sir, it doesn’t change my own individual work flow. As much as I enjoy the company of others I do not find myself relying on others to make my particular progress any better. I have no issues with collaborating with a team nor do I have an issue with undergoing something completely solo. I know my goals, I know my aims and I know what I want to do within this job and I know that there are going to be orders where I’ll have to work alone and when there will be times that I’ll have to work in a team. For KPD particularly, a team is needed for alot of things and is completely necessary. But in my individual work, I think it’s okay to be on either side of the fence. However, an issue that I do hold with teamwork is the reliability that they have on me and the amount that I depend on them. If someone screws up around me and its a dangerous scenario, that could genuinely be my life on the line. I do know that there is the idea of feedback and training but I think that teamwork is something that is trust based. I think that I should work both solo - and with a team in terms of every task that I'm brought with.”

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?:
Vaniruno is a rather astute man. Something that is notable about Vaniruno at all times is his intense lack of emotion. His face is rested in a rather perfect structure. You’d notice immediately his strong sense of masculine features, ranging from his cheekbones, to his rather chiseled jaw. Obviously however, this wasn’t it. His skin would be painted in a porcelain pale expression, constantly showing displays of white, almost ill looking skin. However, his skin would be clear, no traces or sense of any acne or freckles other than a distant scar that strove vertically across his lips. His lips, other than the rather rugged scar, would have a rather faded rosey red to them. Along with this, his eyes followed that of a crystal glacier, a constant glint and a slight amount of wonder in his eyes and his eyes only. To match this, his dark almost navy hair was at a medium length, cleverly tailored to be kept in a rather messy yet stylish middle parting. His build was that of a rather muscular yet athletic physique. V’s build was created entirely for the purpose of agility and strength and was delivered in this fashion. Furthermore, there is the idea of a faint tattoo running down his right arm that looks similar to a sleeve - along with the added back tattoo of angel wings. Generally, his outfits would remain within that of a late gothic fashion, generally keeping to a monochrome day to day basis.

Alexithymia
This label reflects the difficulty experienced by individuals with this condition in recognizing, expressing, and articulating their emotional experiences. This means he will have issues describing emotions, identifying his own emotions, and difficulty telling others about particular thoughts and feelings when it comes to daily communication. I did this purposefully to make Vaniruno a far more cold-hearted character and to make him more intriguing to play. An officer that wants justice but has troubles showing others his fear and his struggles. He gained this through parental trauma which I will get to in the backstory.
PTSD
Any form of alchohol opened or used near him triggers him and sends him into a deep sense of numbness.

What's your character's backstory?:
Childhood
[Age 0-4]
Alike other children, this was just an ordinary child. Alot of V’s time was spent as a child learning languages, something that he prides himself in with the present. His parents were varied across many cultures; his dad being Greek and his mother being purely russian. V was taught both of these languages within his starting years, being taught the basics and even some more complex things like sentence structures. Obviously, V was only four and didn’t exactly catch on immediately.
Shortly after this, he was sent to a nursery to socialise and be around other children. V often struggled with communication due to his lack of knowledge within just russian, as his parents hammered so many languages into his mind that he simply couldn’t decipher which words to say and when. Often, kids would be kids and V would be extremely bullied for this cause. This was only small, often being snarky comments via other children however this wasn’t an often occurrence and only happened if someone brought it up. Overall, V stayed as a rather quiet individual- keeping to himself yet yearning for sociality.
[Age 4-8]
Now it was actual school time. By this time, Vaniruno had decided had sort of decided his interests. School time was spent playing snakes and ladders, cutting up paper for literally no reason and just sticking random things to the walls and getting all the praise. Don’t you love some good ol’ education? Alot of Vaniruno’s time was spent in the Library as he found a rather profound relationship with books and literature. With this, his language skills grew intensely. At the age of 6 he had a reading age of the average 10 year old, a rather impressive skill for someone of his low economic background, and for his age alone. Vaniruno found himself often curling into some small corners and thought this life was lavish and simple. Until-
12th of March 2004
A simple day was school, Vaniruno was making his way home from school as he began to notice a few flashing lights in the street and an alarming amount of sirens echoing within his street. “An odd timing for a crime- it’s only three in the afternoon” He said, continuing down the street as one hand kept on his bag, his innocent eyes looking around alarmingly as he found an odd sinking feeling tremble within his stomach. The child turned the corner just before his house as he found an ambulance wooshing past him at a rapid pace, and two police cars left in front of his house. Tears beginning to form on his waterline, Vaniruno burst into a sprint as he began running towards his house, a muffled cry as he burst through his door. His hear sunk as he looked upon the two officers and his crying father, an odd sight was this. Never in his 8 years of living had he seen his father crying. Only being a child, Vaniruno began profusely sobbing at the sight, rushing towards his father opening his arms as questions began falling from his lips, “Father? W-what happened?! Why dad cry?” He said, his language- not fully developed but hey it’s adorable alright? He began to wrap his arms tightly around his dad as his father began speaking “Your mother has came down with a heart attack and- and she didn’t qui-” His voice kept breaking as tears streamed down his face, his breath shaky as he continued “Your mother didn’t quite make it, my child. I’m sorry.” Obviously as only an innocent and rather socially, well dumb, child he only began to sob as he heard about his mother and about his father being sorry. His dad- was never sorry.
[Age 8-11]
TW: Childhood Neglect.
Vaniruno found himself almost sunken into this state of pity. His home life would swiftly turn towards his father frankly becoming some of the worst that he's ever been. His father, once a man of ambition and someone that Van looked up too, now becoming a hollow shell of himself, haunted by the grief of his wives passing, unable to cope. His father, alike others, turned to the only thing that could numb this heavy weight: alcohol. At first, it was subtle. A beer with dinner, a couple in the evening on a good celebration. But then it became not only a routine but a pure ritual. His father's moments of clarity grew fewer and farther between, replaced by slurred words, glassy eyes and the stench of liquor that clung to any nearby objects in mere seconds like another layer. The house Van lived in, once a place of respite and a place of echoing happiness, now sat in a stagnant silence. Vanurino, still only a child, watched this transformation with a silent, gnawing aching helplessness. He'd sit on the edge of the sofa, tiny hands holding a teddy his mother once gifted as his father stumbled through the door each night. Some nights his father would pass out without a word. Other nights -the nocturnals- were full of yelling, crashing and God knows what else. Not at Vanurino, exactly, but around him. Past him. As though he was an invisible pain in the neck more painful than his absence. Van pretty much became a caretaker a tthe age of 10. Consistently and easily, he learned how to fill a glass of water, set out painkillers for his hangovers, clean up any broken dishes from the night before, and tuck in a father who seemed to have no memory of him into bed. He cleaned ashtrays. He took out the trash. All without a glimpse of a sound. Without the request, and without the appreciation. What ached more in Vee's heart than any other thing was the way that Van seemed to have his own greif pushed away by his father. Any time the boy mentioned his mother - even gently, even fondly - his father's face would knot and twist. Each reply got worse and worse "She's gone, get over it", "You didn't even know her." "You think those sour tears are gonna bring her back?" Those words carved themselves deep into Van's life. It taught Van, simply, that emotions aren't to be heard, seen but are a weapon and are dangerous. That vulnearbility that he had was a weakness. Maybe this wasn't a parent, afterall.
[Age 11-16]
At this age, Van was sent to school. At school, he became one of the more quiet kids in the school - never really overlooked yet never really seen. His childhood that he was left with, however behind closed doors it was, hadn't prepared him for the light of being a new scholar. Instead, he found refuge in silence. Whilst the other children shouted through halls made themselves known with their clowning, Van found his place in the margins - between the dusty old pages of the libarary books - a place where he could find his emotions, and understand them. This place became a shrine to him. Here, knowledge didn't ask for smiles or explanations. It simply gave, that is what he needed. He absorbed every words and phrase with a silent hunger - mathematics especially - that comfort in knowing he could do something complicated. The languages section holding the same chokehold, a systematic approach to the real world that Van could find himself in. He didn't do this to impress others - pfft NEVER!- however a little "Well Done!" never was too much to ask.. Right? See, Van found a quiet yearning beneath this. Not for fame or praise, but for that affection. The kind warmth he never truly knew. He wanted this, and he wanted his silent wishes to come true. And they did, in ways. Teachers began to speak his name with a certain pride. Students—though never close—whispered about him with a mix of awe and distance. "Van? That guy’s a genius." He had become notorious, though not in the way he once imagined.
[Age 16-18]
"I'm sick of reading and knowing, why can't I go hands on?"
V then came to the realization that if anything he was just some bookworm loser with a bad childhood, who would want that? He enrolled in a martial arts facility at the age of 16 learning things like boxing, as well as mixed-martial arts (MMA). He did this for roughly a year, integrating things like study books and other methods of learning the techniques before he got to a competition level with his fighting skills. His next order of action was to apply and train for the military. This man had so much built up anger. remorse, guilt and grief that this was simply a way for him to battle out these emotions. He spent the year training himself pretty much to failure daily with things like military excersies, duration exercises as well as more and more martial arts and agility techniques and trainings. His time was spent well and he gained strength, stability and agility through these excersies. Alot of this time was also spent working a part-time job to keep himself stable and away from home. The moment Van turned 16 was a time when he would leave his home forever, losing contact with his father and his extended family pretty much instantly due to lack of care, emotion or attachment that he felt for them. There was no arguement to cause this, it was just a simple swift drift from people he viewed as da*****us and not what he wished to be associated with. When his training was finished, he applied and enrolled himself in the Russian Military pretty much instantaneously, waiting a few months before getting a response.
[-] IC [-]
Van would hear a distant buzz from his phone, leaning back on the sofa after a long workout this man had no effort but a little sinking in his stomach provoked him to forward his attention towards his phone. The individual used alot of his left effort just to reach for the phone and open it.
[-] A little GIF of a tank appeared, below it a rather mysterious yet whimsical message stating "Greetings Vaniruno Malevochin you have been enrolled into the Russian Attack Force. Your training starts three days from the message sent date. Please assure that you come equipped with enough clothes to last a week, as well as any other items you wish to take. Your training starts on the day of your arrival."
Obviously pleased, Van had a slight smirk on his face as he then put his phone down and just continued watching his little crime shows.
[-] OOC [-]
[Age 18-26]
Vaniruno's enterance into the Russian Attack Force marked the first true beginning of his own life. For once he wasn't dictated by neglect, but by his own two hands. His initial training was brutal, y'know that kind of brutal that make your teeth hurt from clenching too much. Wake up at 0500, running til your lungs tore, combat training til your fingers bled from the cold metal of the rifles. Psychological training was however one he quiet enjoyed. An odd trait he gained from his childhood was the complete ability to shut off all emotions through simply thinking of the past. But even through this what did he do? Van? He endured. That same drive to come into combat through his childhood- tiptoeing around his drunken father, battling lonelieness and even clawing for a human connection- very much hardened into something different. Something stronger. The colder and more true- Vanurino.
By the age of 20, Van had risen through the ranks faster than many of his peers. His quick adaptability, multilingual skills and surprising hand-to-hand combat prowess made him a strong candidate for specialised operations. He was transferred swiftly into a Recon and Infilitration Unit, operating mainly in the high-risk zones where silence and precision as well as intelect and intel meant more than the brute strength he had. Through his brute training he gained the nickname "Ghost." Known for his ability to stay silent yet be the most eerie, dangerous out of his squadron.
At the age of 24, he gained this sort of conciousness he never gained before.
[IC]
[-] The room had been buzzing with chatter, boots stomping on dusty floors and the sharp clink of beer bottles echoing beneath the low-hung lights of the military hall. A dozen soldiers laughed, shoulder to shoulder celebrating a successful mission- dust still on their uniforms but their spirits higher than ever. [-]
“C’mon, Ghost!” one of the soldiers called out, grinning with a half-spilled beer in hand. “You made it this far, why don’t you put on a smile?” Another laughed, nudging the speaker lifting his drink in Van's direction. But- Van didn;t smile. His gaze locked on the amber liquid sloshing in the bottle, his shoulders tensing visibly. That scent, that god forbidden wretched scent. A bitter taste clawed its way up Van's throat, thick metaillic and frankly revolting, like the echo of bile rising from an old wound that never quite healed. His eyes fixiated on the bottle, not the man holding it nor the celebration around him- but the drink itself. That golden hue seemed to glint particularly in the room's harsh light, mocking him with its false warmth. That laughter that once filled the space now felt artificial, warped. It echoed around him in a muffled distortion, like water logged within his ears. Words blended into a indecipherable hum, distant and cold. His vision tunneled slightly, the edges of the room beginning to blur as if the walls themselves were inching closer, collapsing like jenga. The memories flowing like water into the mans head, the slurred words of his fathers the breath the echo of glass at every insult and every godamn scream. "It's not my type." he muttered, his voice tight and his jaw clenched. The soldier chuckled, not catching his clear shift in tone nor facial expression "You think I want that?" Van suddenly snapped, his voice slicing through the room like a blade. His voice raised as he yelled "YOU THINK I WANT-" He paused punching the table "THAT?" he bellowed, his voice cracking like a thunderous whip, eyes wide burning with a storm of restrained rage. His voice kept the same tone "You think this is worth celebrating?! I DON'T NEED TO CELEBRATE!" The room froze. Bottles lowered and the laughter vanished. With a final scowl Van turned on his heel and stormed out, his boots pounding against the doors before pounding on the door to shut it behind him. His silence was left behind like a bad gas.
No one dared to follow.
The sound of boots clacking sharply followed behind him. "MALVOCHIN" a voice barked from behind him, his tone as sharp as a blade. "HERE." Van didn't move at first, his jaw still clenched and his fists still bleeding from the table and clenched, his chest still heaving from the residual rage boiling beneath his skin. But- after a second, he exhaled through his nose and turned on his heel. The air around the two bit at their skin, cold and dry but it didn't seem to cool the fire in Van's chest. He stood near the edge of the gravel perimeter, hands on his hips, trying - and evidently failing - to steady his breath. Lieutenant Baranov followed shortly, closing the distance in a few stride. No yelling, that would make it worse. "You think you can just lose control like that in the field?" He asked flatly, his voice devoid of empathy "You think you're fucking special because of what you've been through? You're a soldier not a charity case." Van remained silent, his gaze dropped to the dirt but his fists staying tight. The silence he obtained only strengthening the tension. Baranov reached into his coat and pulled out a piece of paper. He held it out, fingers stiff. "Effective immediately. Discharged. Disorderly conduct, failure to comply, property damage and verbal aggresion in a secured environment. Your badge and kit-now." Van just stared at the paper, that sinking in his stomach returning. "I'm not going to argue with you," Baranov stated, his voice low and his tone monotonous "This isn't about your trauma but it's discipline. Our force is about trust and right now I can;t trust you to snap in front of the wrong person or worse the enemy."
There it was.
The silence between them broke under the weight of that truth. Van slowly unclipped the back from his jacket, dropping it on the floor without a word. He then stepped back, staring at the man before simply walking off.

kamcold KPD Application (6).gif

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
Owning a pocket knife will fall under being a Major Crime with Possession of Illegal Weaponry. Being caught with this weaponry will heavily result in three months of prison time and a felonious record to the designated character. So to answer your question, no. No you can’t.

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
Cough Syrup, Glasses, Eyepatch, Wooden cane and a bandage.

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
My first instinctive would to be to ensure that I have my body-cam on to record the entire situation, making sure that the entire situation is recorded. I would separate the co-worker with the assistance of another officer. If needed, blunt force or tazing may be used on either the inmate or the co-worker depending completely on the situation that is ongoing. I will then contact EMS if needed to assure the safety of both the individuals. I would then inform the commissioner and another higher-up of the abuse, and leave it t o them the decide the disciplinary factor.

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
Within that, I would keep calm and generally compose myself well. My first course of action would be to make a distress call over the radio to any other officers giving my location and the situation I’ve found. Depending on proximity to the individuals, I evaluate my weaponry and action to take it out {whilst being out of range} before approaching the individuals. I would then use an immobilizing device on the attacker. Similarly, I would also separate the two rather abruptly and if they proceed to advance within the attack I would swiftly allow standard combat procedures to occur and use my baton to immobilize them. Furthermore, another radio call is made for possible threats within the area and allow my co-workers to know the danger of the situation. Another call is then made towards EMS, telling them of the injuries and asking for guidance on my next few moves. I then, obviously would swiftly arrest the individual for assault on a government official, right after I pat them down and do other procedures that follow that.

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
It’s quite methodical to deal with. In this event I will systematically begin gathering evidence throuh observations, interactions and conversations I have with the individual. Deciphering things like body language, close associations and other natures of work that they produce and file- watching their activity and their general being carefully. I will document this separately in my own time on my own documents. Once I have this proof or this evidence that they are doing this, I would promptly forward this to higher-ups. Alongside my report, I would provide the document I have created to help them with their own individual investigation. Moreover, I would refrain from directly communicating or confronting the suspect as it poses a risk to my safety and let’s my higher-ups deal with it quietly and doesn’t pose a risk to chaos or a panicked attack.

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
"Mate if you're gonna bribe me give me some actual money, this is pocket change." Then giving them a fine for attempted bribery.

Additional Notes:
I hope the IC Section doesn't bother you! I went over all questions just acted it out like a proper interview. I hope my place in the crime community does not affect this application, as mentioned earlier on I will be leaving upon acceptance and all crime related activities will be left. I also wrote this a while ago, I've spent the last few days just adding to it. This is also summer holidays for me, and would be incredible activity. Thank you for taking your time to read and review this <3
