Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
To make schoolRP live up to its name you need a school of course and in a school there are well you guessed it teachers! But why are they so important? The teachers help the students get through their school day they give fun classes so that students develop themselves and during the mandatory school hours they will not be bored. The teachers also show many different aspects of the real world something that both ICLY and OOCLY can learn from. Finally there are teachers to influence students a little in the right direction. Because we all do it when there is no school during the mandatory hours we go looking for a fight.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes

What's your character's full name?: Miyuki Kuroda
What is your character's nationality?: Japanese
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Physical Education
Describe your character:
Miyuki Kuroda is a 39 year old woman with a certain elegance that reaches everyone From her voice to her posture. Her long blond hair shines with elegance while her brown eyes radiate caring. Her presence feels safe and draws people to her. She is always open to help everyone and wants the best for her sweet students.
She is not just extremely friendly, no. Her charity is a conscious choice. In a world that is often hard and rushed, Miyuki chooses to be tender. She helps without imposing, listens without judging and makes people feel that they are truly seen. She wants to bring out the skills in every person and show that everyone has talent. The gestures she makes are small, but mean a lot.
Miyuki believes that true strength is shown by being kind. She does not have to raise her voice to be clear but her boundaries are clear. Her dream is to create environments in which people can relax and develop themselves.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
For me, students and colleagues are not people that you just have to manage or guide, no. . . They are special individuals with their own stories and experiences. I see it as my responsibility to embrace these stories and experiences and support them where necessary.
For students, it is not just about their performance, but especially about their personal growth. I want them to feel heard, discover where their strengths lie and finally, most importantly, that they start to believe in themselves
As for colleagues, I see a close collaboration that is respectful. Gentleness and honesty are important aspects in this. We are there to complement each other; nobody is perfect!!! If we approach each other with trust and kindness, a working environment is created in which everyone can flourish. That is what I strive for, every day again.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
My motivation to teach comes from a desire to leave something essential in the lives of others. School is not just knowledge, no, it is so much more! It is guiding our future. Letting them experience setbacks and prosperity. And how they can be their own strength in this big world with gentleness.
I want to offer a safe place where everyone does not have to be afraid to make mistakes, where they learn to be caring and respectful and where they are rewarded for perseverance
Teaching is my way of passing on hope and warmth. If I can help even one student believe in themselves, that is already a reason for me to stand in front of the class every morning with dedication.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Miyuki walks unnoticed to the student who is struggling with the exercise. She bends her knees slightly so that she is at eye level and speaks softly in a sweet voice "Are you okay? Do you want me to go through it with you again calmly?"
If the student appears to be uncertain, Miyuki does not force anything, instead Miyuki lets the student see the strengths. She tries to find out the talents of the student and make use of them. When this still does not seem to work, Miyuki says in a soft voice "Shall we talk about it together after class?"
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
As soon as Miyuki has finished giving her instructions to the class and notices that one student or a group continues to disrupt, she approaches them calmly, without raising her voice, and takes them aside from the rest of the group. She addresses them in a calm, respectful tone, so that the conversation does not become a public humiliation, but it is clear that the behavior does not go unnoticed.
Depending on what has happened, for example talking during explanations or deliberately walking away during assignments, she takes out her practice card. This contains extra physical assignments, slightly more difficult than what the rest do. Not as a harsh punishment, but as a way to show: those who do not want to listen must learn to take responsibility for their behavior.
"Your behavior not only affects yourself, but also the people around you. So you now get a moment to choose again with a small extra assignment."
If the student refuses, Miyuki will warn them. She does not force anything by raising her voice, but does show that she remains in charge. Does she see that the student really shows remorse or recognizes the mistake? Then she lets them rejoin, with a calm reminder:
"I trust that you now know what I expect. Show that too."
If the behavior continues to repeat itself, a second warning follows, without punishment but with more emphasis. Only on a third occasion, when the boundary is really crossed, does she speak more clearly:
"If this continues, there is no other option than to take you out of class. I would rather not, but peace in the group comes first."
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Idea 1
Miyuki divides the class into small teams and explains that the game is not just about scoring points, but also about working together well. She explains that a team earns an extra point if they pass the ball over the net at least three times in a row via different players. In this way she ensures that everyone remains involved and continues to encourage each other.
During the game, Miyuki walks calmly along the sidelines and enthusiastically encourages the students. She reminds them to communicate well with each other, for example by saying “Here!” or “Can I have the ball?” After each set she takes some time to discuss with the teams what went well and where they can work together better.
Idea 2
Miyuki divides the class into two teams for a game of dodgeball. She explains that this version is not just about being fast and outplaying others, but also about playing smart and fair. For example, whoever eliminates someone is allowed to take a few seconds of “pause” to catch their breath and then come back into the game, as an opportunity to learn from mistakes.
During the game, she encourages students to help each other get up and quickly get back in the game. She asks in between: “How did it feel to be touched? What can we do to make sure everyone keeps having fun?” In this way she creates an atmosphere in which competition goes hand in hand with respect and fun.
