IN-CHARACTER SECTON
What is your name?
A collection of documents contained in a plain, blank manila folder spilled across the Vice Principal’s desk. One page stuck out in particular, a personal file of the applicant printed beside a photo of the page’s muse himself: Percival Evermoore.
What is your age and grade?
Pages rarely grant verbal responses, and this one was no different. Instead, the page provided an answer in the form of its bright yellow highlights: 19 and College Bachelor stand out in bold yellows against the pale pages.
What is your motivation to lead a club within the school?
A statement stained in ink and insecurity, lined the application.
I do not have many friends, or any friends at all to be frank. But my name is not Frank, it is Percival and I am very lonely. Immigrating to Karakura is not an uncommon experience by any means, and neither is my struggle to connect with others, but I have a unique passion for games, both in playing them and creating them. Gaming, in all its forms, is my method of coping with my struggles with my loneliness, my lack of connection to others. It's easy to exist behind a screen, to let my skills talk for me or to pretend to be something I’m not and let roleplaying sweep me up into a world where I’m braver and stronger.
It's why I want this club to exist, it's why I’m motivated. For other lonely people. To pretend, to compete, and to connect with others who also like to game and be someone they aren’t. I want to lead this club, a club that hasn’t really been important to anyone in a long time, into something great, so I and others like me can be proud to say we exist alongside it and to create things that could also allow others to connect the way I have, the way I want to.
So, I’m being a little more frank and a little less Percy; a little less scared. I want to make a club for something that I really enjoy and that I hope others can enjoy too.
Regards, P. Evermoore
Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position?
With a turn of the page, the answer is revealed.
I am not made for leading. I’m nervous, selfish, a coward, and I hate confrontation. I’m a follower, it's all I’ve ever been. But, there aren’t many people who see this club the same way I do, that have ideas like mine, or have a passion for something like this the way I do. Other candidates would not give Gaming Club the love and care it deserves to strive the same way I would, the same way I could if given the chance.
Despite my struggles to connect, I’ve placed myself on the flaming pyre that is social interaction, a blooming flame ready to erupt and send me to the depths of hell with each conversation just to invite the short list of potential club members I currently have, and that alone has strengthened my understanding and confidence that comes to leading.
I am not a leader, and I was never made for leading, but my love for even the idea of Gaming Club has made a leader out of me.
Regards, P. Evermoore

Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?
★ Read and follow SRP and club rules
★ Attend one technical meeting and one gaming meeting every month
★ Treat the equipment with care
★ Show interest and have fun!
Provide one school-wide event that your club may host
KARAKURA KINGDOM: GAMING CLUB FAIR | The LARPing Event
This event is inspired by the Ren Fair Club Fair event, one that I was VERY excited to participate in and assist with the creation of, but with a larger emphasis on fantasy/magic tropes as seen in media like DND. For this event, a section of the map, ideally the school roof or the park beside the Family Store, would be transformed into a fantastically magical open area where Club Members could act as NPC’s, shop vendors, or adversaries for students to interact with in various ways and shape the story of the event as a whole. Some could even give out pre-written quests like repeating dialogue as a slight nod to RPGs.
QUESTS: Various quests people could be sent on during this event by interacting with the “NPCs”. The quests build off each other before eventually leading up to a final battle, coupled with a reward! Specific quests will depend on the club members and the characters they choose to play, but ideally member’s quests would build off each other, and scale in difficulty so only the most worthy, dedicated, and clever could achieve the prize at the end!
ACTIVITIES: Various stalls and activities for students to interact with during the event!
VR EXPERIENCE: BETWEEN WORDS | The VR Event
A few members of the Club will hand out VR headsets to students before entering the VR room. When they put on the headset in the room they are in the VR game designed by the beloved Club Lead, Percival Evermore. There would be several sections of the game, sending you through various quick adventures and challenges to get to the end and escape. A chase to escape the vampires, taking them out with water guns one by one, a sword fight battle with pirates on a rocking boat, and even parkour attempt to escape detention.
In Roleplay, a section of the school would be blocked off to make up the ‘VR World’ which would all be fictional within the context in roleplay. This allows for flexibility and imagination on the player’s part as well as allowing participants to do some ridiculous things within the area without the restriction of reality.
Provide one flash event that your club may host
GACHA MAYHEM | Claw Machine Flash Event
Gaming Club, with their itty-bitty budget, was able to buy cheap new claw machines for students, regardless of affiliation with the club, to enjoy! An innocent act of good will provided by the beloved club.. Right? WRONG! Those cheap machines are actually rigged! Remote controlled by the Gaming Club members themselves, they actively fight against the person attempting to score a cute new plushie. People can come up to the machines and do a rolling battle against the machine (club member) in an attempt to win a prize. There's no money involved, both to entice more participation and to keep up the facade of good spirited gaming in its various forms.
PROP ESCAPE | D&D Flash Event
In an unfortunate turn of events, several LIVE ANIMAL props have escaped the confines of the Gaming Club room! Each decorated to perfectly mimic a fantasy creature for the upcoming DND session to be hosted by the Club. In true roleplay fashion, the club members all refuse to break character with the session so soon, which results in an… interesting intercom being sent out to Karakura’s students.

SCHOOLWIDE BLACKOUT | No Games Flash Event??
Due to the Gaming Club’s extreme power usage, the school is experiencing a Blackout! No power, no lights, and worst of all NO GAMES?! The lack of screen time is clearly affecting the club members the most, the short time without any screens has fried their brains completely and left them as mindless zombies roaming the dark halls with only a single phrase on their tongues: “You got games on yo phone?”
Provide one club activity that your club might host
GAME NIGHT
While the concept of a ‘Game Night’ on its own is fun, the Gaming Club would spice it up by introducing an unofficial E-Sports team into the mix to really fuel that rivalry. To really bring home the spirit of Bobcat and Spartan pride, members of the E-Sports team get a jersey and hoodie corresponding with their team. While jerseys are a requirement for Game Night specific events, hoodies can be work freely at the member's will. Each team fulfilling their half of the ‘Bobcat v. Spartan’ team rivalry and can engage in gaming face offs against each other on a handful of randomly selected Gaming Club games. The team’s overall scores would be documented for the monthly Trophy Trade Off.
The Trophy Trade Off is a smaller Gaming Club only event, where the team with the highest amount of points are finally revealed to all and the winning team of last month’s Game Nights either keeps their title as trophy holder OR must hand over their golden prize to the new winners of the month. A possible speech held by the winners and post-game interview by the losers would also be a possibility.

(thank you art__class)
DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS
On weeks between typical game nights there would be an ongoing DND campaign hosted with all the regular club members. As more members join, we’d introduce different tables for the various DMs and players of varying skill levels to allow for comfortable dynamics and to not overwhelm DMs with massive parties to juggle. In addition to this, I could see more club exclusive LARPing events being held in the unused parts of the map to bring the campaign to life and truly have a chance to delve into more fantasy inspired roleplay content. I love imagining small pretend battles of magic, plastic swords, and bulky cosplay armor in some unused park.
TECHNICAL MEETINGS
Between the fun and games Gaming Club would dedicate a meeting to go over the future of Gaming Club. This would be a time to discuss event planning, taking feedback from club members, but most importantly, creating and testing new games! Not only will Gaming Club be dedicated to playing games, but creating new games for others to enjoy, regardless of club affiliation. The games created would largely be roleplay based, so obviously no OOC coding skills needed, just some creativity and a bit of elbow grease! I’ve already created some games that, if accepted, would be played, tested, and updated with the club during our various meetings. Each one utilizes the rolling function on SRP, making the mechanics straightforward for most new players.

ACTIVITIES: Various stalls and activities for students to interact with during the event!
Recruitment - The area, ideally around the entrance/exit area where the lead and co-lead will reside for all those who wish to join the club for more whimsy and adventure!
Food Stall - Where vendors are selling fantastical versions of mundane food items. The ‘Warhog Delight’ turning out to be a simple hot dog or ‘Dragon’s Brew’ being espresso would be a common theme of the various booths.
Merchant Stall - For those who were unable to get their hands on proper props, the Merchant has a collection of goods for purchase to round out the perfect costume.
(A position to be filled out by any willing shop)
Magic Machines - With such an event, it gives new chances to introduce people to the various Gaming Club created games! Each one with their own fantasy styled update to be in theme with the event as a whole. For example: our car racing game would now be a horse racing game, or our ethical animal shooting game would become a monster herding game.
Throne Dunk - A throne sitting atop a tank of water hosts a King and his Jester, both slinging viscous insults at every passerby! Thankfully, winning a game or two will rig the throne to tip over and toss the two into the tank! - 2,000 gaming fee
Jousting - Students equipped with plastic long swords and the iconic toy stick horse charge at each other in an enclosed space! A single roll battle commences with the highest roll becoming the victor and knocking their foe into the muck! - 5,000 entrance fee.
Wizard Tent - Here would be a stereotypical wizard, long beard, robe, the WORK. He would sit in the tent, pondering his orb and give a small, randomized quiz (5 questions max) to anyone revealing which DND class they are destined to be. - 5,000 exit fee
Knight Fight! - A staged fight between two of the club members encased in bulky armor acting as paladins of their own respective oaths! The battle would be completely staged, utilizing special effects to showcase a dazzling display of magic. It would focus on comedy and the personality of these two unknown knights rather than the win in the end. This battle serves as the final show before the event comes to a close.
(This could also be a position filled by Performing Arts club)

ADDITIONAL NOTE
In this application, my character highlights reasons why he is not a good leader and I wish to clarify that I, lobsterrdog, do not share these insecurities about my own leadership skills. I have no shortage of experience when it comes to leadership on the server. I’m currently the Professor Faction lead and Fight Club manager, two positions I’m extremely grateful for allowing me wonderful teams to work and roleplay alongside. These two positions alone have allowed me to create amazing events, share ideas with my team to shape the future of our factions, guide others through keeping consistent activities, and managing quotas. All of which I intend to bring to the Gaming Club, if accepted.
