Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
The teachers of SRP provide a blend of knowledge and entertainment when needed. It's also their job to help new students get introduced to the server, and to reintroduce the server to older players. They must also keep the school grounds in check when they aren't hosting a class, making sure there is nothing going wrong elsewhere. Providing a safe environment to teach and learn in is their top goal, making the new students feel comfortable in the classroom, and keeping the Grade 12s from getting too rowdy at times.

What's your character's full name?: Takara McLovin Feng
What is your character's nationality?: American
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Design Technology (Graphics)
Describe your character:
Takara Feng stands at 5'5", 165cm. He's a polite man, never wanting to hurt anyone. His eyes are that of a storm, a clouded dark blue, yet bright and optimistic. He has light brown, medium length hair that he typically would have tied up into a ponytail. His voice would be calming, a mid range pitch, but mostly an average voice. While being male, that won't stop him from wearing anything he finds comfortable, like a sweater that falls off his shoulders. He isn't one to start conflict, but will certainly stand his ground if need be. Though he's small, he is surprisingly strong for someone of his small stature. If one stood close enough, they'd get a hint of apple, but also some vanilla. While being born American, he feels more at home in Japan, having lived there for his teen years before going back to America.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
His outlook would be friendly, towards both his coworkers and the students. While hosting his classes he'd be more professional, he is more casual outside of the class room, only to be more professional when it's needed, for students rule breaking, or failing to listen. As for his coworkers, he'd be friendly and typically casual with them, unless it's about school in which case he'd be more professional.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Takara's motivation for teaching, is to help grow a new batch of students that will make a change. The reason for him teaching English, is to help students understand better morals, grow their knowledge of the world, and to build a passion for stories to be made, either with a pen and paper, or through spoken words.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Takara, while teaching, would notice a student struggling with the assignments. He'd go over to the student and help figure out what the student is struggling with, and help the student work through it. He'd let the student take their time to process what they are being told. If the student is still struggling, he'd offer to tutor the student till they're able to fully understand the content.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Takara would be going by a three warning limit. If while teaching the student is being disruptive, talking out of turn, being loud or obnoxious, he'd give a verbal warning going over the rules. The second time, if the student is being disruptive, he'd give yet another warning, moving the student away from friends if it will help. If the student is still being disruptive, they'd get handed a detention slip, with one more warning of an SLT being admonished if t hey continued their behavior.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Quiz Times!
Takara would make a quiz on the subjects, allowing for the students to be more interested in the topics, and to give them a bit of friendly competition.
Hands On Learning
Takara would allow the students to learn by practicing with the tools given to them, asking the students to create whatever pops into their head at that moment. It wouldn't have to be anything perfect, just something to get a handle of the tools they are using.
