Out-Of-Character Information
What is your Minecraft username?:
DanOstrava
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
yes, DanOstrava (danostrava)
What is your time zone?:
GMT+1 (+2 on daylight save time zone)
Describe your activity on the server:
Since I’m a college student, I have a fairly flexible schedule and a good amount of free time, which allows me to be online for longer periods and contribute more consistently.
My playtime is around 3 weeks, which i sincerely hope WON'T be an issue, because, i can assure you, there were rough times before, making me almost unable to play for a bit, but now I am back, more ready than ever.
As for the schedule, here's my general availability as follows:
Monday from 17:15 - 22:00
Tuesday 16:15 - 23:00
Wednesday 8:00 - 12:00 | 16:15 - 23:00
Thursday 8:00 - 12:00 | 18:00 - 23:00
Friday 8:00 - 23:00
Saturday 10:00 - 23:00
Sunday 10:00 - 22:00
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I do.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Receptionist
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The job of the receptionist may sound rather vague, dull or uninteresting, THAT however is NOT the case.
Their job ranges from greeting students, be it new ones, or old-timers, greeting other staff, offering them a warm welcome at the beggining of the school day.
They can also pager in students or staff to come to a certain location, just like other faculty can.
Another important task of the receptionists is helping new students, or visitors to navigate all around the school.
And last but not least, exchanging active and good students stickers for rewards, all for their hard work during class.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I would consider myself fairly experienced in roleplay. I have participated in multiple Dungeons & Dragons and TTRPG campaigns, which helped me develop strong character interaction, long-term storytelling, and in-character decision-making.
I could also mention other roleplays of mine, but they are rather unorganizable into a single theme, let's leave it at me loving roleplay.
I genuinely enjoy roleplaying and put effort into staying consistent with my character’s personality and background.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to explore a new type of roleplay and step outside of what I usually play. The School Employee faction offers opportunities for meaningful interaction, long-term character development, and involvement in everyday school life from a different perspective. I’m interested in getting to know new people, building connections through natural, in-character situations, and contributing to the overall atmosphere and immersion of the server.

Situations
(written ICly)
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
I would first measure how dangerous they look, honestly, this WOULD catch me off guard, since being pathetic is NOT what I get called often. I would try my best to answer in the most polite way possible to stop this behaviour, unless they want some further consequences. I would also try to remain mature, without raising my voice, and not throwing any insults on the student (mainly because it is unprofessional). If they would persist, I would honestly consult this with someone other from faculty through the radio.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Well, first of all, I'd assess the situation, I would IMMEDIATELY radio in for a nurse (if she'd be available), then I would step in between the two, trying to stop both of them fighting.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
I would observe it from a distance at first, taking notes of this incident. If there would be any students near the area, I would try to get them away. I would then document this doing and report it to my higher ups.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Well... I don't necessarily love social interaction, so... I would most likely sit somewhere in the corner, doing my thing (listening to music, or something...).
If someone was to approach me, and strike up a conversation first, then I would indulge in that conversation, but I usually keep to myself, found out it bothers people the least when I do so.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me sits behind the front desk, posture straight but relaxed, black-painted nails tapping quietly against the keyboard as she scrolls through the attendance system. Her eyes occasionally lift from the screen to scan the hallway, observing passing students and staff with a watchful, practiced calm before returning to her work.
/me reaches up to adjust her arm warmers, fingers briefly brushing against the fabric as a cool breeze drifts in through the open doors. She answers the pager in a low, even tone, carefully listening before jotting the message down on a sticky note, placing it neatly beside her monitor for later follow-up.
/me slowly rises from her chair, rolling her shoulders to ease the stiffness from sitting too long. She wraps one hand around her coffee mug, taking a small sip while her gaze remains on the hallway, ensuring everything stays orderly. A quiet murmur escapes her lips as she exhales, “Alright… time for a break,” before stepping away from the desk.

Backstory
I was born and raised in the Czech Republic, where I spent most of my early life in a quiet, structured environment that valued routine and order. From my young age, I've quite struggled with communication. I've started to learn about my native language itself, in hopes of understanfing others better. This, in fact, didn't work, but i found out i have a nack for languages. Who'd have guessed.
As time went on, and I grew older, i started to show intense signs of puberty, accompanied by my love for rock, alt rock, and this almost gothic style you may see me wear even today. With my new style, and nearing my 17th birthday, I've told my parents I will learn japanese and move into Japan to learn more. Unexpectedly, they have agreed and even helped me by paying half the plane ticket there. Once I got to Japan, i went straight to Karakura, to finish all my studies.
After countless hours of schoolwork, I managed to pull it off I've successfully managed to finish highschool. This has resulted in me immediately sending a letter back home, then this made me think what to do next. So I went to college, where i spent even more time learning. Since I've always loved music and art, I've decided to make that my main interest and get it on my major. Then I chose languages for my minor, just because i knew I'd make it just fine.
After finishing the college, instead of pursuing a higher degree, I've seen the school was hiring for faculty. So instead of pursuing a higher degree, I've applied to be a part of the school staff. And to my surprise, it all worked out just fine. I got the job of a Receptionist, which could seem hard, with my introvert self, but surprisingly, it isn't all that horrible.
When someone says Karakura High School..., the first thing that comes to mind is stability and structure. I am motivated to join KHS because I believe my experience, combined with my calm demeanor, would allow me to contribute positively without being too disruptive to the flow of the school.
I value peace, boldness, and friendliness. Working at KHS would allow me to support students and staff while remaining in a role that suits my personality and strengths.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I.. uhh... bring straightforwardness, playfulness, and some sort of patience. I do not seek authority or attention, quite the opposite actually, BUT I DO take my responsibilities seriously and handle stressful situations calmly.
My background in multilingual experience, and ability to remain composed under pressure make me well-suited for a front office role. I listen carefully, follow procedure, and ensure that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. KHS would gain an employee who is dependable, pause ...observant, and fully committed to maintaining a safe and organized environment, while retaining some uniqueness of the staff, and maybe even bring a little fun, who knows?
