Describe your activity on the server:
Honestly, and shockingly, my activity has not changed since the last time I applied for a faction in January. I’d still consider my activity to be a 9/10 on a scale rating. As long as I am home, and awake, I am online. The only times I’m not found online is when I have company over, or am spending time with my family. I’d say that my average time online ranges from around three hours to twelve plus. My activity has been this way since about June of last year, and I seriously doubt seeing it drop from it. (I’m still not convinced that it’s an addiction.)
Within the server itself, I’m an incredibly long standing member of the sports faction, between my year plus on volleyball, and now moving into a more detailrp oriented sport; cheer! Besides this, I’ve been a part of the EMS faction for almost six months now. Which is the account I find myself on the most besides my main. A few months ago I was given the club-leader spot for the sports club as well, but beyond that I am currently not a part of anything else anymore. Previously, I have also been a part of the government faction for almost a year; as well as a few months put towards the bounty hunting community. Both of these limited my ability to apply for KPD. Thankfully, I am no longer a part of them! /
OOCly wise, I do have some external responsibilities I will not discuss on the forums, but of course would be more than willing to talk about more in dms. Besides this I am still a full-time online student. These past couple months (March through June) have been focused on my wedding and getting situated into married life, but I’ve finally gotten the time back to get more active across the board, I know some would say I have a lot on my plate, but I strangely thrive with it, I don't find it stressful or like it's too much.
What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for joining the KPD faction stems mostly from genuine interest in branching out into more areas, broadening my roleplay horizons if you will. While I have been involved in some core factions, KPD is one of the few I've yet to venture into. I've been drawn to it for a while, and even expressed interest in joining in previous waves, but due to my position in other factions, I was not eligible for it. With my new found freedom of those factions, it is finally my time to give it a go.
Additionally, I'm excited and intrigued by the community in the faction. I have many friends within it, and would absolutely love a chance to get to participate in the things they do. It would give me nothing but more time with the people I love being close to. The more roleplay experiences I get within my time on SRP, the better.
On a more personal note, besides my friends, and my wanting to find new experiences, my husband has been in the KPD faction for almost a year now at the end of July. Who wouldn't love more things to do, more time to spend, with their partner, right?
Overall the faction seems really fun between everything that could happen, and I've watched my friends and husband have a blast in it for so long. . . I'd just love to finally get my chance .
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
I've never been in KPD before, of course. . But as stated above, I have quite the friends in the faction, so most information I have is either common knowledge or from those I surround myself around. Let's get innttooo it:
-- Main Division Ranks--
Cadet
Patrol Officer
Corporal
Sergeant
Captain
Commissioner
-- Detective Division Ranks --
Detective Constable
Detective Sergeant
Detective Inspector
Detective Chief Inspector
Detective Superintendent

Police Radio | The police radio is what KPD uses to communicate not only to each other but also to the other factions such as EMS and Government. They have their own channel, then share one with each. We absolutely love communication ! |
Stun Blaster | Better known a taser, it stuns the target for a moment and gives you time to deal with them properly. Safety first! |
Handcuffs | The device that allows all officers to arrest the criminals! It limits the movements but of course they are able to resist. |
Police Baton | A steel baton! I'm gonna be so real I don't know what this does...! (#atleastsheshonest?) |
Gas Mask | This is the mask people wear to protect themselves from biohazardous things. |
Riot Shield | Police use these riot shields for protection, mostly only used during riots (obviously) and when searching peoples property's with warrants. |
Pepper Spray | MAKE EM' (Temp..) BLIINNDDD!!!!! STUN THEMM!!! OUUCHHH!!!! |
Tranquilizer | This is a device used to put the criminals in a honk-shoo state for a good bit. This is only used against active threats or when your stun blaster is unusable. |
Breathalyzer | Used to check the drunk percentage of the citizens. |
Crowbar | This is what officers use to open doors! |

Activities wise, I know there are three main activities for officers to do on the job. One, being of course patrolling around town to check things out that might not be getting reported, or catching things that wouldn't get reported in the first place. Besides this, there is also of course desk duty. . Sitting at the desk just like any other job, being there when citizens come to bail their friends, or answer simple questions they may have, not to mention taking the occasional report that comes into the station directly! And lastly responding to the calls that come in through the emergency number!
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
The Police force is essential to SchoolRP because it enforces structure. It adds a sense of realism into the game. Much like real life, law enforcement plays a main role in upholding the legal system and keeping the public order. While the Government faction is responsible for adjusting the laws and keeping justice for the citizens, it is the KPD that ensures the laws are actually being enforced.
KPD is the ultimate frontline defense against gangrpers and minor occurrences that happen. Which is a huge part of the SRP community. Without the police, GangRP would run crazy around the town and the players who seek a realistic world to roleplay in, would no longer be finding what they want.
The faction also helps branch out other factions. Because of it, the Government is able to have trials with arrested criminals, the EMS faction is able to treat wounds from situations they handle, and the BMD faction has something to fear other than the weapons they're trafficking.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I understand and will attend my training sessions when they’re held.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Everyone's heard the trope about the girl next door - And Sloane Stetson is the girl in that story. She's the definition of a bright and bubbly presence. With strawberry blonde hair drooping to her shoulders, and hazel eyes that were framed by her natural beauty. Always genuine and warm, like the sun. Sloane takes pride in her appearance, never out of like, always ready for a photo. With believing that showing up put together meant the utmost respect, for both herself but the others around as well. She's rarely seen without her friendly smile. Which is probably a slight contrast to the average officer seen around Karakura. Sometimes, a little warmth is needed in a cold place like jail. Standing at 5'5 (165 cm), and with the physique of a dancer, Sloane is about average when it comes to her stats. Maybe, not the strongest, and definitely not the quickest, but always ready to go and help her co-workers.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
In a professional setting, Stetson is calm, cool and collected. Deeply supportive and keeping herself together. The kind of person that people naturally lean onto when they need some extra support. She's the rock, steady and dependable in all departments. It doesn't take a lot, but it's safe to say that Sloane is the one always ready to help, asking 'what can I do to make this easier', rather than sitting back and waiting to be asked for help. Her respectfulness is clear as day when it comes to those 'yes ma'am's and 'no ma'am's, her second nature from her life in the states. Adaptable, quick to read a room, and always puts the needs of the team above her own. Which, is a blessing and a curse at the end of the day.
Casually speaking, Sloane is a ball of sunshine. Her guard and walls come down, but her kindness remains put like a dog told to stay. A natural extrovert, she's endlessly social. The kind of person who says hello to all strangers, with a smile on her face and even a wave added. Just as before, she's always ready to help others, whether that be emotionally by being the person that listens, or being the one to give a hug when someone's having a bad day. She makes space for others no matter what she's dealing with herself. Genuinely finding enjoyment with connection building and lifting spirits; whether that be in uniform or off the clock.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Sloane is a firm believer in teamwork and finds genuine enjoyment in working alongside others. She does not see co-workers as colleagues; they are friends, or soon to be friends. Of course, feeling ultimately fulfilled when she's part of a group striving toward shared goals. When it comes to approaching team dynamics, she thrives, with optimism and inclusivity; treat people the way you want to be treated, no matter your differences. In her eyes, no one is an enemy, but rather someone she's yet to connect with.
That being said, Stetson can sometimes struggle to understand when others lack the same drive or commitment as her. She holds herself to high standards, and has for years. And not to mention after spending years surrounded by others with the same effort as her, it's hard to grasp the concept. If you want it, don't half do it. Give it your all, if not more than your all. Nonetheless, she's still patient, and always willing to offer help and encouragement.
Because at the end of the day, you never know what a person is going through behind closed doors.
What's your character's backstory?
0-12 || The Summer Baby
Sloane Stetson was born in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Right in the middle of summer, in the scorching heat. This was always something her family told her suited her perfectly. From an early age, Sloane radiated positivity. She had a gentle charm that was hard to find in New Yorkers. With a childhood like hers, it makes sense as to why she is the way she is. Stable, happy and sheltered by a doting mother who worked hard to keep the world's harshness behind walls. Most of her free time was spent in the dance studio, where she fell in love with technique and structure, and performing for others. It just came to Sloane naturally, so it never died. By the time she was six, she was already competing, and winning repetitively.
13-18 || Dancers with Dreams
As Stetson grew older, dance became a livelihood. She trained in ballet, contemporary and even the occasional hip-hop class. She attended a private school where she graduated summa-cum-laude. Balancing a life of straining academics and a difficult dance schedule became the usual for her life. At home, life wasn't perfect. Her parents' marriage quietly crumbled behind the walls she wasn't behind, so both Stetson children were blind to the matter. No matter what she knew, or didn't know, Sloane's focus remained on her little brother Wesley, her performances and the future she had mapped out since the age of seven.
19-25 || The Texas Fire
After high school, Sloane moved down south to Dallas to attend the University of North Texas, where she dived head first to her dreams of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. (Yesss!) Though, of course her studies remained important. Tryouts went great, she made it past the finals to join forty five other girls to training camp; where she was disappointingly cut. Before this, Sloane had never faced rejection. And really, after years of winning and winning in the New York competitive dance scene, she struggled to find why she wasn't good enough for them. It took time, but after evaluating, and looking back, the root problem was found and worked on. She doubled down, spending the next year to sharpen her skills to return stronger than ever. Earning her boots was the brightest day of her life. For the next five years, Sloane juggled the cheer commitments and academic goals. Ultimately graduating with a master's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. It was rigorous, draining and painful. . But she did it.
25-26 || Shifting Toward Service
After finishing her tenure with the DCC and earning her degree, Sloane found herself at a crossroads. Her brother Wesley had just finished high school, and the two decided it was time for a major change. They made the leap, together, and moved to the island known as Karakura. (You know the one.) Her sights were of course immediately set on joining the police force, longing for a stable group of individuals who share a love for structure and justice. And for the first time in her life, the goal wasn't about performance anymore, it was about protection of the citizens she was surrounded by.
-- General knowledge --
Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
"No. Absolutely not. A pocket knife is not legally allowed to be on ones person. That's one quick way to end up with a felony charge of possession of illegal weaponry."
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
"Off the top of my head I can list a few, but five specifically would be multivitamins, reading glasses, paracetamol, melatonin and eye patches. However, there are a few more on the list."
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
"Although I'd hope to never see this from a co-worker, here is the protocol I'd think to follow. Firstly, I'd radio and ask the co-worker about the situation, while also trying to get others to come. I'd then enter and try to separate the two of them, and once that's successful, I'd ensure the inmate is back to their cell and report immediately to a higher-up."
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
"Immediately radio for back up, giving them a precise location and explanation of the situation as quickly as possible. Without that, you never know how a situation could escalate. It's always better to have more than the opposing side. Then, of course head straight for the scene and yell for them to get off of the co-worker. Whether they listen or not, changes the answer all together. If they listen, work towards getting them on the wall and headed for the station, and if not, physically remove them myself with as little harm in my way."
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
"That is quite the question, and like I said before, this is something I'd hope to never see happen during my time on the force. Nonetheless, I'd work on gathering as much evidence as I could in secret, while maintaining some distance from the co-worker. It may be difficult to keep it from others, but the less others know the better sometimes. If I were to tell anyone, it would be straight to a higher-up or the Commissioner themself while I work on gathering. Otherwise, I'd wait until I have everything necessary to report the co-worker. Something like that would be quite shocking, and you'd never know how some would react, although I do believe it's better to inform of suspicions early on rather than after it's too late."
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
"Deny it. Immediately, do not even hesitate on the decision and show that weakness to them. To think an officer would take such a thing, is one thing. . But to almost accept or actually accept is an entirely different field. After all, it is a fineable offense."
