Describe your activity on the server:
I'm almost always online on the server because I truly enjoy being part of it. What stood out to me the most is definitely the school, it really caught my interest. I won’t lie, I’ve made my share of mistakes before, but I’ve grown a lot and learned from them. These days, I do my best to help out whenever I can, even if I’m not asked to. Overall, I’d say I’m pretty active, usually online for 7 hours a day or sometimes even more!
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes!

Caretaker
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:

Their work often goes beyond what instructors do, they contribute to both safety and professionalism within the school. Caretakers look out for both students and staff, making sure everything is running smoothly, even if it means handling unpleasant situations. That’s what I understand and respect about the role!I believe the role of a Caretaker is essential to the school environment.!
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve never really been big on RPGs, but I’ve played on a few servers, and this one definitely grabbed my attention! I wouldn’t claim to be an expert in roleplaying, but I understand DetailRP depending on how others engage with me. I usually keep my responses simple with one-liners to avoid wasting anyone's time, but if someone puts in the effort with detailed responses, I’ll do the same. It’s all about imagining the scenario in my head and typing it out, that's how I picked up the RPG skills along the way. What is your Minecraft username?:

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I’m eager to join the School Employee faction because I truly enjoy giving back to the server and helping foster a positive and respectful atmosphere. I’ve worked as a caretaker before, so I understand the level of responsibility and dedication it takes to support both staff and players. Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
He would take a few moments to process what he had just heard, not reacting with anger because he understands that everyone has their difficult days. Despite the harsh words, he would approach the person, even if they were still venting. He would calmly remind them of their behavior, offering a gentle warning. Afterward, he would have a brief conversation to understand what led to such frustration and, seeing their distress, would offer them some water to help them calm down.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
As soon as he notices two students fighting, his instinct is to rush over and prevent the situation from escalating further. He’d quickly intervene, pulling one student away and positioning himself between them to stop the fight from continuing. Without hesitation, he would escort them both to detention, ensuring the conflict is resolved.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Based on their behavior, what they were doing clearly violated school rules. He would approach them, asking why they were behaving this way and reminding them that if it happened again, he would be forced to report it. While he wouldn’t want to take that step, he would feel it necessary to ensure the safety and security of the school.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
When he's alone, he finds ways to stay focused, whether it's reading a book or scrolling through his phone for a while. Some days can be stressful, so when needed, he prefers to keep quiet. He’s not the type to talk about the lack of social interaction in his life, but when another employee is around, he makes an effort to start a brief conversation. In one way or another, he wants to be able to connect with others as easily as they can with him.

Backstory
Nikolai Milkovich’s life story is shaped by the blending of two distinct cultures from the moment he was born. His father, a proud Russian man, and his mother, a graceful Japanese woman, forged a life that embodied the balance between the traditions of both countries. Born in Japan, Nikolai grew up in an environment that was a fusion of Russian stoicism and Japanese harmony. His mother, deeply connected to her roots, decided to name him Nikolai, after his own father, which carried not only familial pride but also a sense of history and continuity within their family.
As a child, Nikolai was inseparable from his younger sister, Hinito. Despite the fact that they were both raised in Japan, Hinito faced the challenges of being bullied for her unique background, caught between the traditional Japanese students and their expectations. Nikolai, protective by nature, took it upon himself to be her defender. Whether it was standing up to classmates or offering words of encouragement, he became the pillar of support that Hinito desperately needed. Their bond grew stronger over time, built on shared memories of quiet evenings at home, where their mother would tell them stories about their heritage, tales of Russian winters and Japanese festivals, lessons in perseverance, and the importance of family. These stories filled Nikolai’s heart with a deep sense of responsibility and loyalty to both sides of his identity.
Throughout his childhood, Nikolai and Hinito attended the same local Japanese school. Their parents emphasized the values of respect, discipline, and loyalty, which were deeply embedded in both Japanese and Russian cultures. Though the school environment was often harsh for Hinito due to the bullying, Nikolai helped her navigate the complexities of their school life. Despite the hardship, these formative years shaped his character, teaching him not only to defend those he loved but also to stay humble and honor the traditions his parents had instilled in him.
As time passed and Nikolai entered his teenage years, his mother felt that a new environment would be beneficial for his growth. Karakura School, a renowned institution that offered a blend of modern education and cultural experiences, seemed like the perfect choice. Nikolai’s mother believed that this school would provide him with the opportunity to broaden his horizons and further develop his talents. Despite the initial hesitations of leaving home, Nikolai embraced the change. Karakura’s diverse student body and the school’s approach to learning ignited a new passion in him, particularly in the school’s art program.
At Karakura, Nikolai quickly found his niche in the art classes. His love for creative expression had always been present, but at Karakura, he had the chance to refine his skills. The teachers recognized his talent, and his classmates appreciated his unique artistic perspective, which blended the influences of both Russian and Japanese cultures. Nikolai’s artwork, often inspired by his personal experiences and his love for both landscapes and urban environments, became a reflection of his inner world. Whether he was painting the quiet beauty of a snowy Russian morning or the intricate lines of a traditional Japanese garden, his work spoke of his connection to both sides of his heritage. His classmates admired not just his technical skill but the soul that he poured into each piece.
As the years passed, Nikolai matured, and the bonds he formed with his friends at Karakura became an extension of the close-knit family he had left behind in Japan. He made lifelong friendships that helped him overcome his past challenges and encouraged him to step into leadership roles. Despite his artistic success, Nikolai felt a deep sense of duty to give back to the school that had allowed him to flourish. After completing his education, he made the decision to stay in Karakura, where he would become a caretaker for the school.
In this new role, Nikolai found immense fulfillment. His nurturing and responsible nature made him a perfect fit for the position. He took pride in maintaining the school’s grounds, ensuring the classrooms were well-kept, and most importantly, providing a safe and supportive environment for the students. His deep connection to the place that had given him a chance to grow and heal motivated him to work hard and ensure that others would have the same opportunity. Every day, he was reminded of his own journey, from the protective older brother, to the talented artist, to the caretaker of a place that had shaped him into the person he had become.
Nikolai’s story is one of resilience, compassion, and the power of finding belonging. Through his connection to his family, his school, and his art, he forged a path that not only honored his roots but also allowed him to create a new family in Karakura. His role as a caretaker symbolized the legacy of love and support he had always given to his sister and the people he cared about. Now, he continued to give back, shaping the future of those who walked the same halls that had once nurtured his own dreams.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I truly believe that this is a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in new experiences and contribute to the success of others. Over time, I’ve observed many caretakers walking through the hallways of Karakura High School, and in that moment, I realized this job was exactly what I’ve been looking for. It's a chance for me to not only maintain a clean and organized environment but also to play a role in ensuring that the students' surroundings are always up to date and welcoming. I feel a deep sense of responsibility in providing a space where both students and staff can thrive, and I’m excited to take on that challenge.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I don’t believe that I should be chosen simply because of my own qualities over others. There needs to be a fair and thoughtful process in determining who is the right fit for this role. This decision should take into account various factors, such as an individual’s goals, their level of experience, and their unique abilities. People bring different perspectives, skill sets, and backgrounds, and these differences should be recognized and respected when evaluating candidates. Ultimately, the right choice should reflect a balance of these diverse qualities.
