I would like to suggestion an update on assault permissions in the rules, and on gangrp. There are no actual rules in the forums that state assault permissions are needed to attack someone, but of course in reality attacking someone with no permissions is simply unrealistic and borderline FailRP.
However, I really don't understand why when I attack someone for reasons I think are correct, I get hit with the spam in /looc, asking me about permissions for assaulting them. Since there are literally no rules stating you need permissions, I have no idea what I need to do to be able to attack someone. Therefore I suggest, adding very lenient permissions, that state reasons you can't attack someone, instead of reasons you can attack someone.
I've found that instead of actually roleplaying in character, most players don't even bother when being attacked and dive straight into looc to try and protect their character through ooc means. I find this highly unrealistic and I think that by having reasons you cannot attack someone instead of reasons you can ensures that people cannot abuse the somewhat specific situations needed to attack someone.
Since, unlike kill permissions, in real life there are loads of different situations that someone may feel the need to attack you depending on their experiences and their character. I would really appreciate this suggestion being taken into account.
