What's the title of your suggestion?: Allow players to use "." in the front of a letter or number

What's your suggestion?:
I am not sure if it's possible or if it's a horrible Idea, but simply allowing players to use the " . " on the start of every word or number would make Roleplaying more fluid.

For instance
Mr.Kagami: As you can see the earth's gravity is 9.81 m/s^2

vs

Mr. Kagami: As you can see the earth's gravity is 9. 81 m/s^2 (or 9,81 m/s^2)

We're able to say it much more freely in the ooc and looc and it still confuses me why we aren't able to do it in ICly chat but in oocly it's fine.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Overall as much of a small suggestion it might be, it would help bring more fluidity when you're roleplaying as you don't have to improvise saying numbers and such. I remember when i first played SRP, I had to say a decimal number and it wont let me and I got called out ICly for not being able to say numbers. In addition I've been finding a good amount of people like myself who uses "..." a lot when we speak ICly. And being able to put "..." and a sentence after it can replicate someone pausing a for a moment before speaking. Now I would sound a bit bias with having this Quality of Life in, but It's really something I can see people benefiting from generally speaking. Being able to say decimal numbers and such.

I can see this being beneficial for people who're in factions where they would need to say certain stuff, people who do a lot of DetailRP, and they want to be precises with what they want to action out, being cooking, counting measurements, or just actually saying a decimal number.

I want this, but the reason we can't is because it prevents links being sent - so I get why.

In the mean time, I suggest using a comma instead!

I understand that Staff did this change as to stop people from sending links into chat(links that could lead to bad websites or scams). So, if they do bring it back, ok. if they don't, then ok. use, like what urufu said, a comma or just keep spacing between them anyway or just remove the period all together

Is it annoying sometimes when you cant use a . or use one mistakenly forgot a space? Yeah, but staff made it function like that to prevent links from being sent in chat. It's a pretty fair reasoning and the work around is simple enough.

Thank you for your suggestion!

- We're testing a new filtering system which should hopefully avoid this
