Spring Updates
Over the last 5 months, myself, the development, content, and staff team have been working behind the scenes to release some amazing content for SchoolRP, some of which you will have already seen. We're extremely proud of the progress we've made to improve the server with bug fixes, map updates, and some cool features!
We hope you enjoy our latest Re-cap video which shows all of the amazing changes in a creative format; a fun watch. If you'd prefer to watch the video instead of reading, check it out below! If you'd prefer to read, we've got our usually change logs, including bug fixes and minor updates we didn't include in the video a little further down this post.
Headline Features

As planned, our previously named 'Shopping District' has been transformed into the stunning 'Shōtengai' where you'll find 15 of Karakura's shops. Around Shōtengai you can also visit NPC stores, the bank, two of Karakura's most stunning parks, a parking lot, and friends living in the one of the newly designed 56 Penthouses (V block) and 100 Apartments (F block). We're proud of our Build Team for untaking such as large project within the space of 2 months, making Karakura feel even more Japanese than ever before. Check it out for yourself!
Our Profile system got yet another cosmetic update with its Character Menu getting a beautiful upgrade, allowing you to more easily see which character you're swapping into without having to remember the slot you left them on! Along with this, You can now see even more details about your characters from the Character Menu, such as your character's height, age, languages, and remaining language slots.
At popular request, we've updated the Nickname system! You can now set your nickname to almost anything you'd like, with Hexadecimal colour codes too! Colour codes are no longer included in the character limit – which we've increased to 16 characters maximum – when setting your nickname.
Our Vending Machines got a little facelift as well, now with three types of them scattered around the map! You'll find Food and Drink vending machines anywhere around Karakura, and Snack vending machines within the school. With this, we updated the menu, added some cool animations and sounds, and updated all of the items sold by the machines along with pricing.

After many years, the Dodgeball teams make their long-awaited return to Karakura High! Interested becoming one of 16 lucky members joining their team? Look out for try-outs in the Karakura Academics Discord.
Of course, we couldn't add a Dodgeball Team without updating the Dodgeball plugin which has been fully re-coded to allow for competitive gameplay during tournaments. You can now join a team of your own choosing, bounce the ball, and eliminate enemies by catching their thrown ball. Along with this, we added bouncing sounds as well as a more aesthetically pleasing ball texture. Check out the Dodgeball Plugin Showcase video.
To assist teachers in immersing their students, we added a Whiteboard plugin which allows the teacher to write notes, information, and other relevant information in real time for their class.
We've added the planned Locker Update which includes stunning animations, as well as even more storage the size of a double chest! Not feeling the plain design? Why not decorate your locker with awesome stickers to personalize it to your character's interests and vibe.

We've introduced a brand-new type of permanent property has been released known as Mansions. These properties cost ¥65,000,000 each, and their design references are chosen by you and built by our build team. These properties are only available to families larger than 5 members, and you can find these properties between the Forest and the Shotengai.
It's no surprise with the changes to the Character Menu that we added Per-Profile Language Slots which enables you to apply for up to 2 (or 3 with an additional authorization) languages for each character slot. This now means that you no longer have to share the same 2 or 3 languages for your characters, allowing you even more roleplay opportunity. If you're missing your old languages, transfer them with /srplanguage transfer [language]!
As previously suggested, we finally added a way for you to trade or give items to another player via command, eliminating the chance of your items accidentally being picked up by another player. Use the /giveto command, followed by the amount of the item you're holding that you wish to give the other player.
We added a Fire System to all standalone faction buildings around the map with working Extinguishers and Alarm systems; another slice of life feature to help immerse you. By pulling a fire call point, the KPD is automatically called out to the faction's building to investigate and extinguish any fires.
We've officially moved Housing Issues, Item & Vehicle Requests, Role Requests, All Reports, and General Support over to our Forums Ticket system (separate from the in-game system) which helps to keep the forums a little neater. Our Administration team typically respond within 24 hours of ticket creation via forums.
