Yureto is a rather intelligent person, he always is sceptical of his surroundings due to past experiences. It takes him a while for him to feel 'comfortable' around others but if you spend more time with him he will eventually open up. He's definitely not shy to tell you if you're doing something wrong or if something just doesn't feel right. With friends, he shows a goofy side that others don't usually get to see.

As a kid Yureto was only 'raised' by his father, they lived in South Korea but Yureto always wanted to move to somewhere in Japan.Yureto's father was heavily involved in crime, Yureto often was exposed to illegal possessions. Yureto's father would often take out his anger on Yureto by beating him senseless to the point where he had to go to the hospital countless times. His father would hijack cars, rob banks and do all types of crime, eventually, he got locked up and Yureto had to face the world on his own. When his father got out, Yureto seeked revenge, he killed him and hid his body in a ditch. It was only natural that he would pick up some of his father's traits, Yureto started to steal from others constantly and he gathered up enough money to move to Karakura Japan. Now he lives a 'private' life, not even letting his friends know what he really does to earn money.

Yureto often likes to watch old 90's movies, he also has a passion for photography and likes to take pictures of nice places.
