Describe your activity on the server:
I am relatively active each day. If I have an issue and can’t play, it’s likely due to other plans or holidays. For each day, I try to play at least 1 hour each day just so I can have at least one or two things to do. I find something to do each time, even if it’s short. I can go up to five hours if I am doing something but even more if there’s a school day. It really just depends on the situation I’m in or the scenario it comes down to. Below is a more accurate and detailed table of my week as of writing this application.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
I acknowledge that if I am inactive, I will be demoted.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Nurse

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A nurse can follow the typical stereotype of undermining someone’s injuries. It is a vital position for SRP since many people tend to get into fights and most students rely on them to help their MINOR injuries. If a student has a major injury, the nurse is responsible for calling the EMS to help them get the help they need. Some people may feel like a nurse only can slap a bandaid or an ice pack on an injury, but they are much more than that. Nurses help with an array of issues such as bruises, small open wounds, sprains (small ones) and so much more. As a nurse, you’re required to have a demeanor that gives students the idea that you’re approachable and happy to help.

[MINOR INURIES]
Minor injuries for a nurse can be many things... it's what they deal with the most. The nurse is responsible for grabbing the supplies needed for the respective injury. For example, when dealing with someone who has a bruise, their main goal of course is to help the injured student with the injury but they also need to comfort them with it. Getting any kind of injury whether it be small or large can be pretty traumatic. Each memory needs some kind of comfort. That's the nurses job. To make sure that whatever happened, one to be careful, and two to give them a bit of advice on how to stop it from happening next time. Not only that, but all nurses should respect their paitent.

[MAJOR INJURIES]
Major injuries are important. If someone gets KO'd or is in need of a paramedic, the nurse should always prioritize helping the immediate paitent. For example, if someone started to have heart issues and couldn't breathe, a paramedic would need to be called. From there, they should be waiting for the paramedic while they make sure the paitent is okay. Otherwise, if the paramedics didn't respond, they should put the paitent first.

Main goal of a nurse is to put. the. paitent. FIRST!!

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been part of SRP for three years now, and throughout that time, I’ve gained a great amount of experience… particularly with detailrp (especially since this aligns with nurse role and any doctoral role really). When I first began my roleplay… ‘career’ (if you can even call it that), I had absolutely no idea how the mechanics and terms worked. I did scenarios and such differently back then and lacked the required knowledge that roleplay needed. However, with time (and practice) I’ve developed an overall idea and grasp of how roleplay and SRP works. Now, I am confidently applying to positions (such as nurse, obviously) that require such knowledge. Before finding out SRP existed, most of my roleplay experience came from more low end enviornments and casual ones. Hypixel, for example, was one of the first interactions I had with SRP and was low key and way easier to handle. This was usually centered around small actions and little dialogue, but it went a long way. Not only was Hypixel a way for me to learn, but downloading maps and such with my friends really spiked my enjoyment with roleplaying. They usually were towns, schools, homes, and/or castle environments. There was never a dull moment. At first, I wasn’t immediately drawn to SRP since at the time, my computer couldn’t handle it at all. The resource pack didn’t work and I wasn’t proud of how I felt the place was… it didn’t talk to me like things did before. Once I got familiar with the basic commands and things, I was drawn. I improved because of the people around me and detailrp became one of my better judgements. I have a proud sense of writing and want to keep doing it for a long time. I type quickly and can deliver responses fast, but ensured with quality! Before, I leaned a bit too close to trying to push the narrative or make it my own but I’ve learned to let others in before I can strike. (i’m poetic, i know.). Once I was able to adjust to SRP closer, I began to push that roleplay to other places! Now, I consider myself a PROFESSIONAL!!

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I used to be in the Teacher faction and after long i became an HD. I got to know the idea of how it worked, especially since teaching was a passion of mine then. Now, writing is a passion of mine and I wish to get better at it since it’s better to write every day at least once. It’ll improve my writing and give me a reason to write… especially since I try to stay away from ACTUALLY writing. This’ll give me a reason to force myself to write!! Also, this will help me understand health stuff more.

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:

He’d laugh at the student’s attempt to discourage him. While being called pathetic is an insult for most, he finds it as criticism. He stepped in front of the student and high fived them. “Great job at the attempt to bring me down, but it didn’t work. I’ll make sure to work on that, and you work on your insults in return, okay? With your progress, I really doubt you’ll win the fight. However, I’d like you to know if this continues, there will be consequences. Let’s all chill and be friends, I’d like that!”
(He would calm the situation down, joke about it, and give them reassurance that he means business.)

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
As Byungho would walk up, he’d notice injuries on the students. He’d want to walk up and help right away, but that’s not the moral of it. He walked over and shouted, “Separate!” he told them. As they did so, he asked what was going on to understand the situation. If he didn’t know, he couldn’t help. If the students became more aggressive, so would he. He got a grasp of the situation and handed out detentions with no warning, assault occurred after all. He told them to keep away from each other and if they were found doing this again, further consequences would develop.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Since Byungho wouldn’t exactly know what is going on, he wouldn’t immediately clock that something is wrong. He’d ask them what they were doing with an attempt to correct them. If correction does not work, he will remind them that what they are doing is dangerous, wrong, and against the rules. Without letting them know, he’d report their behavior to the higher ups to allow them an understanding that the person is doing something they are not supposed to. He’d feel bad but would know that he is doing the right thing.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Byungho is simple. He goes into the break room. . . well, to have a break. Sometimes he gets overwhelmed but for the most part, he loves helping people. During the times he gets a break, he really only makes it a short one. He doesn’t necessarily like coffee so he’ll grab a cup of water and sit while reading the recent Karakura news. He also loves to watch K-Dramas, so sometimes he’ll watch an episode, finish one, or start one. He’ll only watch during the times he has, obviously, but he still enjoys his time to relax and decompress. If anyone else is in there, he’ll gladly say hello and strike up a conversation if he wants to, company is better to him.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me grabbed the nearest bandage, if he wanted to get this cleaned fast to ensure the student was in the least pain possible, he’d need something to stop the blood. First, he put pressure on the wound with the bandage and taped it together. Then, he went to the first aid closet and grabbed a better bandage, one that would last days, and set it off to the side. He then grabbed hydrogen peroxide and a few cotton balls and rushed back to the student. He tilted the hydrogen peroxide bottle to put it on the cotton ball. He made sure not to put too much. “This will burn now, don’t stress too much and try to sit still,” he calmed them as he dabbed the cotton ball on the wound, quickly putting more on the bandage and medical taping it over.

/me as the student sat still, he inspected the bruise to find it was pretty big. “Yikes, let’s get that treated for ya!” he said in a happy manner to brighten their day to pull them away from whatever gave them this bruise. He patted the area with a cream that had vitamins in it, labeled ‘Vitamin K’ and handed them an ice pack that was inside of a few towels. “I know this may not seem like a great solution, but it’s what I’ve got. Give it time to heal and put it on and off of your wound.”

/me watched as the student put pressure on his ankle and clench his fists with a look of pure pain. “Seems like you might have a sprain or a twisted ankle.” he examined the student’s ankle with precise movements as if he were studying the anatomy. He noticed swelling and a bit of discoloration. “Don’t put pressure on it for now, let’s get it bandaged up!” He grabbed a nearby wrap bandage that fit the student’s size and secured the ankle. This would help the student with the swelling. “I don’t have crutches for you, but I’d suggest that after school, head to the doctors to get it checked out. If needed,” he gave the student an ice pack to place inside the bandage, “use this to reduce the swelling. It’s not much, but I can give you ibuprofen if you need.”

Backstory
[CHILDHOOD]
As a young kid, Byungho, aka Benny, was surrounded by a hostile family environment. His father didn’t treat him like a real son and his mother felt she was burdened by him and his sibling’s presence. He knew his mother would never approve of their existence but he carried on with life anyway, despite knowing he’d never feel a mother’s real love. He cared for his siblings day in and day out without hesitation. He helped them if they were getting bullied and would care for them vigorously. Despite his exhaustion, Benny thrived in his family home. He learned to cook, learned Japanese, and even JSL. He taught his younger brother JSL as well but he never quite caught the idea. This is where his love for helping others stemmed from. He’d done it since he was young, after all.

[INCIDENT]
One day, at the age of 12, he hadn’t seen his father in quite some time. This didn’t bother anyone, though, since he’d done this often. His mother knew he was cheating on her and didn’t bother divorcing him because it was too much of a hassle and she knew she still had some kind of feeling left inside for him. After the third day of his missing father, Benny decided to have an excellent meal with his family. He made a bunch of side dishes, main entrees, and even dessert. His mother refused his food since she said she’d make it even though she never had, and if she did, it’d be ramen or soup. Byungho placed his baby brother in his crib, not knowing what as to come. He sent his twin sisters off to bed and then tucked in his younger brother. He saw his mom fall asleep on the living room couch and didn’t bother to wake her up.

At around 3 am, he was stunned awake by his brother with a violent shake. His eyes burned the moment he awoke and his brother cried out to leave the house. Once he’d made it out of the burning building, he’d realized that someone was missing. His baby brother. He turned back as Jaesung, his brother, left the building with his sisters. Just as he mentioned the baby, an explosion erupted. His mother cried out as the two were sent nearly 20 feet. Jaesung landed in the grass while Benny landed head first into the street. An ambulance came and he saw as debris fell from the sky. His home was purposefully blown to pieces and he couldn’t figure out why.

[GROWING UP]
Finally, high school. Before he had left Korea, the decision brought hell upon his family. When he told them about it, they disagreed. He pushed more toward the fact that his mother was never there and he’d only ever cared for his grandmother and his siblings. He even threatened to take them. However, when he finally left and arrived in Karakura, he felt free. He moved in with his Uncle, Xiang, and attended the high school there with his younger cousins. When he graduated, he went to community college. At this point, his Uncle had a home now and they were no longer living in a cramped apartment.

After graduating with a master’s degree in Health and a minor in Child Development, he wondered where he was going to take his life now. He helped with volunteer jobs and even took many odd jobs such as construction, house cleaning, etc. He wasn’t poor, no, in fact he was incredibly rich with Korean won from his family endeavors. His grandmother owned a business and was living in Seoul, so he wasn’t very worried. The only thing he worried about was whether or not he’d be able to stay in Karakura with it’s reputation. Despite his worries, he applied to many jobs that had to do with his degree. This included the nurse job he hopes to become.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
“I grew up in Karakura. . . well not really, but I was here ever since I started High school and it’s stuck with me ever since. I was attending the community college for my masters for Education while I finished my PHD and bachelors for Health and Child and development respectively at another college. I love Karakura, whether or not I have any trauma here, it’s still incredibly special to me. I was there for so long and I wanted everything to kind of fall into place. My Uncle worked here for a long time and given that he loved this place, I feel I will too. He told me so many stories and all I could do was laugh it off, honestly.”

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
“I believe I should be accepted over other applicants because I am loyal and get my job done without pushing myself over others. I want everyone to get the same experience so I want to show them that I can give them that. I have experience with helping my children with their injuries and (more so when I was younger, but a decent amount when we were all older) my siblings as well. I want to help, it’s not just a job to me. It’s a reward. It makes me feel like I was important in their life and when they look back at it, whether it was silly or not, they’d remember who helped them. I want to be that person. I’m not here for the money, I’m here to be a part of something bigger!!”
