What is your Player Type? What is your RP Style?

Explanation for the Player Types and RP Styles below:

Player Types (OOC Player Personalities)
a) Achievers (driven by goals, ambition, and prizes. They focus on progression and mastery and winning.)
b) Explorers (drawn to discovery, creating narratives/stories, curiosity, building events and scenes)
c) Socializers (seeking community, fostering relationships, and helping others, engaging in families/factions)
d) Dominators (seeking competition or power over others, providing and thriving on conflict)

Each player is usually a mix of these motivations and traits.

RP Styles (IC Roles and Playstyles)
1) Protagonists (Their characters drive the story and lead others forward. The provide passion and unity and alignment towards a common goal.)
2) Planners (Tactical characters, focusing on scheduling, managing their yen, crafting politics. They can also be schemers, aiming at long term arcs.)
3) Supporters (Characters that protect, take care, or aid others. They are characters that everyone can lean on for support. The backbone of the group.)
4) Troublemakers (These characters seek out conflict and drama. Villains, rebels or eccentrics who stir drama and provide conflict at the heart of every story.)
5) Worldbuilders (These characters focus on building the world, creating documents, collect histories, write backgrounds, and share myths.)
6) Goofballs (For lighter play, some are jokesters or faithful sidekicks. They provide Comic Relief or assist others in lighting the mood.)
7) Bystanders (Lastly, some characters stay out of any plot or event or drama. They play low engagement, casual, normal people, just living their lifes.)

These RP Styles overlap extensively.

And of course, Player Types and RP Styles do overlap tightly, OOC motivations shape IC roles and actions and vice cersa.

For example:
My player type is the Explorer, with small tunes of the Socializer type. It's pretty steady and I feel comfortable in that type.
My rp style as a greenie was the Bystander, with slight goofball vibes, just being an idle citizen, a little silly.
But my rp style developed into the supporter / worldbuilder style, helping and creating. What about you all?

Oooh this post is a really cool idea!! I'll give my thoughts:

PLAYER TYPE
I would say I am somewhere in the middle of Achiever and Socialiser.
My greatest joys on SRP are from being able to say I made a new friend, whether IC or OOC. I want to get to know everybody and everything. However, my second greatest joy is reaching a milestone. I don't necessarily care for grinding things such as attributes, but I have a very strong desire to try and do everything. I actually have a sort of bucket-list of everything I want to do before I eventually stop playing, that being (in no particular order):
- Get a house
- Reach ¥1,000,000 for the first time.
- Get a vehicle
- Have a positive influence on any official group (club, faction, sub-faction, etc)
- Try to be friends with as many people as possible

RP STYLE
I don't think I fit into a specific category, but I do align with traits of multiple. I think my main two would be Bystander and Planner.
My characters are all very realistic with no supernatural qualities, I play the character as one that could be brought into the real world and not stand out at all, that's because SRP is set on Earth in a real-world environment (excluding spirits). Charlotte is a bad example for this as she is a shrine maiden, thus does get forced into encounters with "supernatural" occurrences frequently. However my other character, Fuyumi, is a perfect example of this as she is simply a student and nothing really more than that.

As for aligning with a planner architype, I think this applies because generally, I do have a rough plan for what I'm going to do, and I do enjoy long-standing arcs that have a sort of roadmap. However also from my character's perspectives, they tend to plan out situations that involve them. For example; Charlotte much like me overthinks the smallest of things. That overthinking often leads her to trying to think of every outcome. She has learned to try and plan ahead of as a method of easing her own mind. I think little things like that fit the planner style, hehe.

Player Type
I think that in certain settings I'm an Achiever but overall I'm a mix of an Explorer and Socializer.

I really enjoy events and l lore, and I like learning and being apart of that lore and people's events! I really love complicated narratives between characters. Though, I would also say the main reason I apply for things (factions, teams, families) is because it's really fun to make connections and meet new people + awesome new roleplay experiences.

RP Style
I would deem most of my characters to be Troublemakers who overlap with Planners and also Supporters who overlap with Worldbuilders. I think most of my characters are for a plot or to serve other characters' plots (save for a few who are more protagonistic with their own stories) so I think many of them are Supporters and Worldbuilders in that way.

Irwin and Clem (kinda) are definitely goofballs though.
