Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers play a crucial role within the SchoolRP environment. Their impact goes well beyond teaching; they bring structure, realism, and detail to the school environment. Teachers are important on SRP due to the fact that SchoolRP would not be able to function without any educator roles.

Teachers play a role in introducing new students to the school environment. Teachers help newcomers understand how things work on the server and guide them as they start learning.. They support players as they get familiar with the mechanics and begin their journey overall. Their role extends well past delivering lessons in specific subjects teachers are meant to create a welcoming and immersive role play environment for players.

Teachers are the initial point of contact for newcomers, playing a key role in shaping how students perceive and experience the server from the very start. As well as being the first point of contact for students, as a new player at times it is hard to communicate with others and find help but the teachers are easy to talk to and always open to help and communicate. We all know that the school is the number one place where all players spend the most amount of time, and you’ll always see a teacher or faculty around!

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

Describe your character:
Akane, a warm hearted and quietly determined young woman whose presence surrounds you with a sense of elegance. She would stand at quite a short height 4'10 with a lean graceful build. Her long brown hair falling just below her shoulders would gently frame her face complementing her soft warm brown eyes. Her clothing choice was laid back and gave off what he was really all about; a chill, flowing personality.

Some may think Akane is just a bubbly, easy going girl. While that’s certainly part of her charm, it’s only the surface. The more you get to know her, the more you’ll see there’s much more to her than meets the eye. She’s warm and friendly, always quick with a smile, but she’s also not afraid to be firm when the situation calls for it.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Akane would take the time to take a seat next to the student speaking with them in regards to where or what they may be struggling with. She would approach the student with patience and kindness. She would offer other explanations in different ways she would use examples that could relate to the students interest to help simplify the problem, If a student is reading a paragraph and cant understand a certain word she would try to implement that with something the student likes helping to create a new way for them to grasp its meaning

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Once she has finished giving her instructions to the class, she will calmly take aside the disruptive student and guide them to a quiet corner or designated area away from their peers. Based on the students behavior She will give them a warning along with a mild punishment to show that while she is not overly strict there are rules and there will be consequences meaning not only are they disrupting my time but the others who choose to learn as well.

If this continued she will warn them once more,She would inform them that the next time they disrupt the class she will have no choice but to kick them out and making sure her disappointment is visible to the student and express disapproval of the student’s actions, if they continue after the first two warnings she will then remove them from the classroom as well as handing them a detention slip

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Activity Idea 1. Speed Debate
How to: Students will choose 4-5 Questions based on a novel the class has already read. The students will pair up in two separate groups and create debate slips. They will be assigned to write each question in a writing book. They must list pros and cons and their reasoning, Students will must write down 2-3 points using text to back them up (quotes, scenes, character actions)

The groups will each have a few minutes to huddle discussing their topic before approaching the class for their argument. Each side will have 5 minutes to argue, One minute for any rebuttals, and at the end of class there will be 3 minutes for a class vote for who had the stronger argument.

If there is enough time at the end of the class the students will be asked to write a short paragraph reflecting on the topic. They must answer: did their opinion change? What argument was the most convincing and why? (If there is no time at the end this will be assigned as homework.)

Activity Idea 2. Flash Tale!
How to: Students will be separated into 4 different groups. The teacher will go around asking them to choose a number 1 through 4. After all groups have chosen their number the teacher will come up to the groups and give them a genre; It could be Fantasy, Mystery, Sci-fi etc. After all the groups have been informed on their chosen genre they will be told to come up with a short story based on that genre. The short story must have a title and include Conflict and Consequences related to the topic. The story must be at least 5-6 sentences long. The point of this activity is to make sure to include everyone and complete the project as a team.Teaching the students the art of teamwork and communication.
When students are done with their story they will choose one person from their team to come up to the front of class and read their story aloud . During this time other teams will have a chance to ask thoughtful questions about their story that could include characters and scenes. After the Q&A the presenting team can respond and explain their choices or clarify any parts of the story.
This activity encourages teamwork, active listening, and creativity.
