My activity on the server is probably an 8/10 if I had to rate it on a scale of 1-10! I spend at most 6 hours on the server during the day. My time currently is split up between swim, HS-Council, Club quota, and working shifts at stores! Which is why if I get into shopkeeper, I’ll still have plenty of time to open since I’d likely be dedicating less time to going to shop openings and will instead be hosting my own.
Now! When will I be most likely to open during the month? I can’t promise I’ll stick to this schedule completely, but I intend to get at least 6 openings a month to meet quota. This is also expected to change HEAVILY once I start college this August.

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
Roleplay
I want to add more roleplay to the server through my shop. Both for me and for others. I think shops are essential to making the server something unique and worth staying on, and while I could just apply for something basic like a cute little ramen restaurant! I don’t think that’s how I want to add roleplay to the server. I want my store to be something people remember on the server for a while, even after I eventually leave, since we all move on at some point. I also want this application to serve as a way to tell a story through an application rather than using my own voice as a writer to tell people what this store will be about. I want this store to be something that people can discover more about through roleplay! Obviously, there will always be people who come into the store to buy something, then leave. And if I’m being honest, I’m the same way sometimes! Thinking of stores as just a player-run way to get items, but it should be more than that now! This is why, through this store, I intend to have a constantly developing story going on in it that involves several different factions. It’s part of the reason I’m so happy that if this gets accepted, I’ll get the chance to work with Shrine to add Kendo lessons as a more accessible thing to the server. People should be coming to stores to buy things and get more roleplay, not just to buy things!
Previous Experience
I see tons of people applying for shops every wave which is so exciting to see people applying for such a fun faction! But honestly I don’t think I ever really understood how much I wanted to lead a shop until recently. Back when I applied the first few times I had some roles sure but now that it’s been months since the last wave I’ve gotten to work under so many amazing shopkeepers! Each one making me more excited to lead a shop of my own. Umisachi being one of the stores that I could never leave just because both the shopkeeper and workers are lovely. Seikatsu and Tsuki no umi being the same way! Each store is so different and I love that. Which is why I want to have this chance at a store so that hopefully I can be someone people enjoy working under! I also love daini no ie and it’s lovely employees and a funny shopkeeper that I get to jokingly argue with all the time. Pinkumo has helped me learn what security is meant to be like and I love that! Daisuki yohin the most recent store I’ve started to work at has taught me so much about how to make the panel work with stock since I’ve had to do that… but it’s okay I love mayios still and how they run their shop even if the panel pains me! And finally yeobo, also an amazing store to work at that has taught me amazing ways to handle employee inactivity!
New Experience
Now I won’t pretend like I’m some super writer that will make this the perfect experience for everyone that comes to the store, since I am not that. I am a human just like everyone else, which is why I believe I will make mistakes. But these mistakes can be fixed by me as I learn how to run the store! I’ve also never run a store before, which means that I hope this can be a fun new experience for me on the server since I’ve always wanted to run my own store. Sure, I can host one or two shifts at Tsuki No umi or any other store I manage, but I’ll never truly run those stores! Which is fine, but I want to lead my own so that I can give people a chance to grow through my store and eventually open their own, just like other stores did for me! And finally, this application is also part of the new experience for me. I’ve never tried this format before when writing to tell a story through the application, and I hope you like it! As a little note before the application really starts, this will all be IC rather than OOC, since I want to use a different voice for writing this!

Unique Idea #1: Fitness Lessons
[!] The picture of the roster moved off to the side before sliding completely off the screen like a bad slideshow presentation. The guy from the video was slowly becoming more and more visible as it slid away. Until eventually it was just him left in a room full of workout equipment. [!]
“Happy to see you guys back! Onto the next part of this wacky adventure we are going through together!”
[!] Did he have to sound so annoying? The audio quality was not helping his case. [!]
“Alright, now you might be wondering why you should even bother coming to this wonderfully crazzyyy store of ours! I mean, some people don’t even know what half of this equipment evennn is! Which is why we will be offering FREE that’s right you heard me correctly.. Absolutely FREE Fitness lessons once a month so that you can learn how to use our equipment and get a daily workout so that you can stay healthy and eventually take over the world with your strength! Make sure that if you do take over the world, you leave this store alone so that we can train someone to eventually stop you! Anywayyyyss, these fitness lessons will be taught by our personal trainers here at Supōtsu Shisetsu once a month for free. But if you miss out on a lesson, you can pay them 5000 to get an exclusive lesson where they will teach you what you missed out on! This is to be sure our fitness instructors can earn a living! We hope to see you here getting a personal lesson from one of our FIT ness instructors.. They are very fit.”
[!] He snapped his fingers at the screen in quick succession. What a guy he was. [!]
“These lessons will be unique each month, meaning you should come back each month so that you can learn more! Do you believe that you are more fit to give one of these lessons? Well, guess what? We will ALWAYS be hiring positions for these just prove to us that you are a good FIT for it.. Haha.. and you can have the position! Have I mentioned yet that whoever goes to the most fitness lessons during the year will get a permanent 25% discount at Supōtsu Shisetsu? Well, NOW I have! That’s right, you heard me correctly! You can win a permanent 25% discount if you just show up to the most lessons! You can do 6 a month, so good luck!”
Unique Aspect #2: Kendo Lessons
[!] He paused as he read something in front of him. Maybe a script? Lame that made him seem much less cool than before! [!}
“Oh right! How could I forget that our sponsors up at the shrine will also be collaborating with us on this… Is it okay to call them sponsors? It feels weird considering the whole… religion thing. Uhhh.. anyway! We will be partnering with the shrine for some of their maidens and priests to come down and do Kendo lessons every once in a while! Do you want to learn how to use the Kendo gear but are too afraid to go up to the shrine and ask? Especially since those maidens and priests might be busy dealing with some new crazy thing in Karakura! Well, when we announce that the shrine is coming down to Supōtsu Shisetsu, you can come get trained on how to use the Kendo gear so that maybe one day you can go professional and become the best kendo person ever! You can not pay to get these lessons since they will be something that the shrine graciously has agreed to come do with their freetime and we wouldn’t want to get in the way of their time… and we also ask that you be especially respectful so that we don’t lose this wonderful chance to work with the shrine! If you guys handle this well enough shrine will continue to frequently do this for us! If we are granted approval, we might even one day sell Kendo items, so keep your eye out for that! We can not legally confirm that, though, so if we don’t ever end up selling them, that’s my bad for getting your hopes up!”

Unique Aspect #3: Ban List
[!] The video continued after the previous part. He seemed slightly less excited about this part. Poor guy! [!]
“The next thing is something I didn’t really want to bring up, but it will probably happen at least once… and that’s having to ban someone from our store! We hope that this never really happens since this is meant to be a place where anyone can go and get fitness equipment. But if you do something that actively annoys employees or causes any damage to the equipment, you will be removed from the store and banned for a set period of time! Since my wonderful managers and I will be in charge of this system, we are humans. Which means we can make mistakes. This will be something you can apply to get rid of through our website! I like to believe that we won’t ever have to ban someone! But we will all review these bans together should they happen! If your.. Ban appeal. If you get accepted, we will talk to you in person about it! This way, either you or we can apologize for the behavior that occurred at the store that caused the ban! We strive to get better here, just like people strive to work out so they can get better! Which is why we care about each customers opinion and hope that you will shop with us again if you do have a negative experience here!”

‘Heloooooo! Today I’ll be telling you guys about the several different events we will be having that you can only find here at Supōtsu Shisetsu! I’ll go more into detail on what these events will be about later! Starting off, we have fitness lessons, which will be a monthly thing, which makes them a monthly event! Of course, you can get them more often if you pay, but besides that, it’s an event! Next up, we will be having a workout competition each month, too! Alongside that, there will be a yearly fashion show and finally.. Tryout month! All of which I will explain later on. But I doubt you’d find them anywhereee else! Except maybe the mainland, but that doesn’t count."

“The Fitness Bottle. Did you know that sweating makes you thirsty? Well, with this amazing fitness bottle, you can keep hydrated! This will be part of our healthy line with items dedicated to keeping you guys healthy while you work out!

This item will be part of our third line! This line will be the general sports items! You might be one of those super cool people who do skateboard tricks in the skatepark near the beach, which is exactly why you can buy a custom skateboard from us!

Item #5: Dumbbells
We don’t quite have this one in stock yet! This one will be the second item in the general sports item line! But when you think of general workout items, you obviously think of dumbbells, which is why we will sell sets of single dumbbells you can lift to work out!

Item #6: Wrestling Headgear
This item will be part of our wrestling line! Do you want to fight your friends legally and safely? Well, this line of gear will be the perfect chance for you to do that! We care about safety here, and wrestling unsafely can lead to someone getting injured!

Item #7: Air Hockey Pucks
This item will be part of our Hockey line! While there isn’t really a place to play hockey in Karakura, which is exactly why these Hockey Sticks will be a two-part set where you can buy an air hockey table to play it! We may consider making a mini ice rink for regular hockey in the future, but this is the only type of hockey we will sell for the time being!

Item #8: Boxing Gloves
LEGAL boxing gloves I want to make that clear. None of that spiked gloves stuff, I promise I’m not a criminal. These will be part of the training item line! Another one of our many training items! You may get good at punching through the boxing gloves, but that’s only half the battle! You’ve got more limbs than just arms, I’d hope! Item #10: Team Phones
This is part of our team item line! Sports teams are super important to this store, since without them, we probably won’t get nearly as much business! Which is exactly why every 4 months we will be doing a poll on onrain to decide the best team of that month! Whichever team wins will be given a free phone to each of their members, and their captain will be in charge of its design! We will, of course, then sell the phone in our store for as long as we can!

Item #1: Water Bottle
It’s important to stay hydrated, which is exactly why we have the fitness bottle. But we understand that some people aren’t made of money. Which is exactly why we have a much cheaper option with a disposable water bottle! This will not be nearly as fancy as our bottle, but if you wish to buy this instead, you are free to!
Item #2: Green Tea
It’s important to have some sort of caffeine in the body! How will you be able to get through those BORING school days without it! Which is exactly why we will also be selling Green tea alongside our water bottles.
Item #3 Americano
One of the few drinks we will sell at this store! However, unlike any other item, this will be kept to a limited amount. This means you can only buy one per opening. Now this might seem unfair, but we care about the health of our customers! Coffee can be bad for you if you drink too much! We care about your health here.
Item #4: Raw Meat
We will also be selling raw meat so that people can make their own healthy food! If you purchase one of these, they will come with a nice guide on how to make healthy meals using them!
Item #5: Egg
Eggs are healthy! They are important for staying healthy, which is exactly why we will not be directly selling them. Now you may be wondering how that makes sense. And that’s fair! Eggs will not be able to be purchased with yen… because they will come free with any purchase of meat in a one-to-one ratio! One egg for every one piece of meat.
Item #6: Flour
You can’t cook healthy meals without flour! But flour can be unhealthy, which is exactly why I promise this flour is whole grain. You can trust my word, I’m a health expert.
Item #7: Sugar
Sugar, now I know it’s considered unhealthy to use sugar. Which is exactly why it will also have a limit of 1 bag per opening. A guide on how to stay healthy will be provided if you buy this item. We understand the need for sugar from some people in Karakura, but it can be seriously bad for you!"
What will the store look like?
[!] You looked up the third video online. This one is intended to give a tour of the store! You press play, and that terrible intro music starts again. [!]
“Helloooooo, my wonderful guests today at Supōtsu Shisetsu! Just know we LOVE you here and look forward to you coming by to see our services. Now you might be wondering. What exactly does this full store look like!? Well, allow me to give you a tour of the place!"
[!] He snapped his fingers again as the camera began following him around the place! He started off on the ground floor. In the first room. The entry way.
“Now this is where you lovely people will be entering from! This is where you will see the amazing fitness posters that we will collect over time! Stuff like.. If you aren’t working out, then you might as well stay out!”
[!] Damn, that was a rude thing to say. But he just kept going on like he didn’t just say something insulting. [!]
“Follow me over to the first real room of this place.”
[!] He walked into the first room with the camera following him. This room had shelves in every possible spot, with space between shelves for people to walk in between. Each shelf is lined with the products he talked about in the previous video. There was no furniture in this room, so it must be the item room where you can buy things not related to furniture! Each shelf seemed to be dedicated to what he called a product line. [!]
“Did you look at everything in the room? I hope so because I will not be talking about it! I haven’t had my cup of coffee today, and I’d actually rather not be giving this tour today, but my producers are telling me I have to do it today before the opening! Bunch of fucking assholes they are. Now onto the next room on this floor.”
[!] He continued onto the next room. This one is labeled FURNITURE as seen in the video. When you walk in, you expect to see empty shelves as you had in the previous video, but instead, there was not a single shelf, and all the products were on display in separate sections of the room! Or well.. At least the boxes of the products, since it seemed they hadn’t quite taken them out of the boxes yet. Talk about lazy! Each area of the place was dedicated to another one of the product lines he had mentioned once again. He then spoke, interrupting the silence of his walking around the room. [!]
“This is the furniture room. You got that? Cool, let’s move on to the next floor since I want this over with. My head fucking hurts now from having to deal with some of these people.”
[!] His silly energy was clearly not here in this video. He seemed almost upset that you were watching this video despite it being posted online, where you could easily find it. He stepped up the stairs, each one he took more aggressively, until he reached the top and stomped against the floor.

[!] The next room was several rooms broken up into one. Each one has a label on it. Classroom 1, 1,2 and so on. With a big sign in the center that read TRAINING CENTER. [!]
“Can you guess what this is? That’s right, it’s where we do our training lessons for people who want to get a workout. During the monthly lessons, you can go into one of these classrooms where our instructors will be waiting to give you a lesson on fitness and health. Not me, though. I don’t really care; that’s what we hire people for. Alright, follow me to the final floor.”
[!] He walked back up more steps, his mood getting more visibly sour with the camera pointed towards him. By the end of the steps, he was completely winded and out of breath. Ran a fitness store, yet he could barely walk up a flight of stairs. What a hypocrite he was. He finally reached the final floor. This one had mannequins with outfits on them, and a price tag next to them. [!]
“This is where you can buy outfits made by our wonderful hired tailors. These are all sports wear valid for tryouts if you want to join your favorite team or something. Doesn’t matter to me. There are 5 of each of these in stock, so don’t be afraid of the competition. Our tailors are paid well, you can trust me when I say that.”
[!] The video cut off, marking the end of the store information section of their public videos. You go onto the next playlist. This one marked with the label… [!]
How many employees do you plan to have?:
[!] You click on the next video. This one is labeled with the title HIRING. Immediately upon clicking on the video, the passage of time between the first and last recording was obvious. The guy in front of the camera was covered in bruises. What had happened? [!}
“Helloo… my.. Wacky.. Friends.”
[!] He sure didn’t sound okay. Yet he continued on with the video as if it were the only thing he had left. [!]
“You may be wondering how you can work here at this amazing establishment.. That’s a really.. Really good question you are asking if that’s you asking the question.. But to answer that we have to start off simple.. How many employees do we intend to have, well.. umm...”
[!] A long pause as he sat there staring at the camera. Did he even know how many employees they had? Suddenly, the video cut. He had another bruise on his face between the two cuts. And he seemed to be putting on an act? [!}
“Hellooo!! Apologies for the interruption! We were just having a conversation about how many employees we will have! Well! I’ve already told you about the… uh.. Fitness coaches! There will be no limit to them so they don’t really matter for the count.. BUT.. we will also have cashiers here to sell the fitness items that you so desire! There will be a limit of 20 cashiers!! Which means 20 people can work at this store as cashiers, which isn’t that super exciting! I know I’m.. excited.. About.. That! So you should be too… we will also have security just in case, but we will only hire 5 of them since I don’t see.. Why we would ever need security.. We have plenty that I’ve already hired.. This totals up to 25 employees. We might hire more in the future but that’s all for now..”
[!] Another cut.. Those hadn’t been in previous videos what exactly was happening? [!]
How will you hire employees?:
[!] It cut back to him being in a chair with several more bruises before cutting back to him standing in the store. Was that broken glass in the background? And why did he have so many bruises on his face? [!]
“Umm.. now.. Onto the part where I tell you about how many employees we will be hiring… fuck. I mean.. How we will hire employees here. Again I’ve already told you about how fitness coaches will be hired.. You just have to prove to m- us.. That you are a suitable fit for the store. With Cashiers, every other month, we will do interviews that you can go to and get hired. We intend to hire at least 3 every other month even if this means opening up extra spots.. Because we love our community.. So much.”
[!] Brief cut before he took a long, clearly painful sigh. [!]
“For security.. Uhhh.. don’t worry about that.. I’ll be choosing Security as I see fit, they won’t have a hiring process because we don’t need them often. We have plenty of hired security that I believe can do the job just fine, and I’m not worried in the slightest. We also might hire tailors if the idea to sell athletic wear works out, but we’ve recently hit a roadblock with that idea, which I’m sure our friends will work out for me, so that I don’t have to think too much about that. And even if we do it will be a max of 5 tailors since the rest will come from partnerships with tailoring businesses."
[!] The video ended. Wow, that was a quick one. What exactly had happened to this store's ownership? Upon second thought you could barely even remember ever seeing the guy in Karakura before.. Did something happen to him? That thought only made you want to continue looking into the videos further. [!]
What roles will you have at the store?
[!] You click on another video. Realizing that you hadn’t quite checked the date on these videos yet, you scroll down and see that it was posted April 6th 2025. A year ago. Deciding that research on the guy could wait, you click on the next video labeled ROLES and UNIFORMS. Why hadn’t this video been earlier in the order? Weird.. As you click play on the video, it slowly loads as you see the guy from before looking even more broken than before. Was that a splint on his nose? [!}
“Hello everyone… pl-”
[!] A cut. The splint was no longer on his nose, and there was blood trailing down his face. Oh fuck. [!]
“I mean.. Hello, my wonderful heroes who choose to shop here! Today, I will be teaching you about the roles we have here and the uniforms that they will be wearing. This should be a shorter video because I have covered most of this already… ha.. Ha.. ha.. Anyway.. For the roles we will be having the basic cashiers.. That will help you out with your sales, since where would we be without our wonderful cashiers to help us out! As for the security I mentioned in the previous video.. Those spots have been filled, and therefore, you don’t need to worry about them. We will also have fitness coaches and finally tailors. Again if the idea works out.. It’s not set in stone yet.. We might consider hiring photographers alongside editors for possible photoshoots of our lessons… but again, that isn’t quite confirmed yet, as the peopl- I mean me.. Haven’t decided if they want that yet. Each of these roles will come with a guide on how they can do their jobs. Just so that we can ensure everything is running smoothlyyy… now onto the next question you may be having.. Which is what the uniforms will be looking like since most stores have uniforms, right?”
[!] He stared at the camera for a while, desperation in his eyes. As he stared. And stared into the camera. His plea for help seemed to go nowhere as there wasn’t a single sound inside the room. Nobody but you is watching this a year later. The dread of knowing that you could have helped him had you seen this a year earlier. Who was this guy… and where did he go? [!]
What will employees be wearing?
[!] After a while of him staring at the camera, a door opening could be heard before he clicked the camera off, and there was another cut. Once again, he returned to the screen with no extra bruises, but the blood had made it further down his face, having dried. [!]
“The.. uniforms! An important thing to have to tell the difference between a cashier and any random stranger.. So you might be wondering… what kind of uniforms will a fitness store be using? Well.. each uniform has its own- I mean.. Each role has its own uniform that it gets to wear. Starting off with our cashiers. The backbone of our whole store really.. BESIDES THE SECURITY. Ahem.. uh.. The cashier uniform will look like this."
[!] He held up a cashier uniform so that the camera could see it. Wow! It sure looked good! You pause the video to get a closer look at the uniform… Upon closer inspection, you notice a couple of cuts in the fabric of this uniform. Maybe they don’t look that bad in person, but this one sure didn’t look great! [!]
[!] You unpause the video, letting it play once more as he tosses the uniform off to the side onto the dirty floor. He clears his throat once again so that he can speak.. There was a while of clearing his throat. Did he have a sore throat, maybe? [!]
“Onto our next uniform.. This is the security uniforms. That’s right I said uniforms.. Because we have two uniforms for our precious security, since they matter the most to us… Without them, we wouldn’t have a safe store! Because safety.. First.. Right?”
[!] He stopped talking, reaching down into a pile of clothes and pulling out one uniform. You pause the video so that you can get a good look at the first uniform he shows. Why did it look nothing like the cashier uniform? Did he make this… or did a third party make it? [!]
[!] You unpause the video, giving him time to gently place that uniform down on the floor before grabbing a second uniform from the pile, holding it up in front of you. It looked as clean as it gets. There was not a single scratch or tear anywhere on it. [!]
[!] The video unpauses as he gently puts the second uniform down. He clears his throat, getting ready to speak once more. [!]
“Next up… are the roles we won’t have a uniform for. Our tailors will not be working in the store and will instead be from random places in Karakura since they only really need to come in to deliver the outfits for us to place on the displays. This means obviously they don’t need a uniform made for them… after all that would cost too much money… that I don’t have anymore. And for our fitness coaches, they aren’t expected to be given a uniform either, since they will only be expected to stay in classrooms. However, they are still expected to wear some sort of athletic wear to maintain professionalism to our theme.. There will also be photographers to take pictures of the lessons, and they won’t be expected to wear a uniform since they will be hired from a company that isn’t us, that I trust to have their own uniforms or at least some sort of professional attire… I’m not paying for something like that. And finally, the final role in the store will be editors, and just like the tailors, they will not be in the store often and will just edit the photos taken by photographers to post on our website to market the lessons, so people go to them more. And that is all our uniforms. Only 3 so it’s pretty cheap.. Wouldn’t want to spend too much hahaha..!! "

How will employees know what they are doing?
[!] With some free time in your day, you decide to pay another visit to the website. The uniforms and guides video was the last video you saw published to the website but suddenly upon checking it out again a new video had appeared yet when checking the release date it was still from last year. Curious, you continue to listen in on the video with the title Guides and Removal. [!]
[!] The video opens on an even more bruised shopkeeper than before. This time, instead of having a black eye, his eye was gone entirely. His voice shook as he spoke. [!]
“H-Hello everyone.. Today.. For this part of the video I’ll be covering the guides so that employees know how not to mess up.. Isn’t that great? I sure am excited.. But today I won’t be reading them to you since I’m a bit.. Ill today.. So instead our editors will have pictures appear on the screen of what our guides look like.. I hope you enjoy the video today.. Please.”
[!] The video cuts no longer showing him, and instead it was a video of someone holding out a book, their face obscured by the light, but it certainly wasn’t the same frame as the man from before [!]
Cashier Guide
Our cashiers! The backbone of the gym. Cashiers will be one of the only roles using our panel, given to us by the wonderful shop panel company! Whenever someone comes up and asks to place an order, you will be required to click each item on the panel, adding it. You can search for the item, and it’ll appear on the panel as long as you use the right name. Once you’ve added everything, you will tell the customer the price, which is next to the total! NOT the personal stats section. That’ll come later. Once the customer has paid the total that you requested, you’ll hand over the items. You’ll do this for each customer who comes into the store to order something. If they ask for a private fitness lesson, call over the shopkeeper, and they will keep track of that! You should NOT be giving out the private fitness tours, and you should leave that to the shopkeeper to keep things organized! By the end of the opening, you will pay your own in the personal stats part of the panel! You will have made however much it says in the earnings part of the panel, so you do not need to pay that to the shopkeeper.
Security Guide
The most important role here at Supōtsu Shisetsu! Without our amazing security, we wouldn’t survive all the constant robberies that do not happen here! Which is exactly why we have a very limited number of security with only 5 spots! If we know something is in the works that will endanger our store, then we will make sure to let security know beforehand so they can show up! You are not excited to meet any sort of monthly quota as security, since we don’t intend on having you do too much! But if something dangerous does happen to the store and you haven’t been to it in a while, then we might consider getting new security! Now, the job of security is pretty simple! If someone breaks a store rule, then you are expected to take them out of the store. If anyone tries to start a fight or anything, then you remove them. Do not assault the person; if they get violent, you call the cops. We use our words here, not our fists, despite how strong we all are, I’m sure. That is all you really need to know about being security! Good luck!
Fitness Trainer Guide
One of our first unique roles here at Supōtsu Shisetsu! While we will have two types of Fitness lessons, with the regular ones and the Kendo ones, the people at the shrine will be in charge of coming up with their own lessons since I don’t control them. BUT the hired Fitness trainers will be given specific things I’d like them to cover each month, to be sure we don’t get too off-topic with our lessons! As a fitness trainer, you are expected to host at least 1 training lesson every other month. When it comes to the private paid lessons, the fitness instructors will be given a week's notice and come up with whatever they’d like for the lesson! Except they will have to send their plan to the shopkeeper to make sure their idea isn’t TOO insane, we want some normal things here. When it comes to the free monthly one, the shopkeeper will come up with a basic couple of things they’d like covered, and the fitness instructors will have to come up with something for that.
Photographer and Editor.. Guides?
For these, I won’t have a guide! That is because I will NOT be hiring photographers and editors and will instead be partnering with a verified business to do this! Since we love partnerships here! They make life easier for me as a shop owner!
How will you handle inactivity?
[!] The guides finally stopped showing on the screen after a while, slowly returning to the shop owner. His face hadn’t changed in terms of damage, but he sure looked like he was not happy to be there. [!]
“Welcome back.. Happy to see you guys again. I hope you enjoyed looking at out employee guides.. We will attach photos once we actually hire people.. Okay onto how we plan to remove employees.. I’m sure plenty of people want to work at this place, which is exactly why.."
[!] A long sigh followed before a door could be heard opening. This time the camera did not cut as it showed him getting beat up by a couple masked figures.. Oh, wow, that was not good. You could only watch, knowing it might be too late for the man. After a while, the beating finally stopped, and he collapsed in the chair. There was then another visible cut between two scenes where he was awake again. [!]
“Sorry.. My producers had to tell me something... Important.. Which is why there is a cut in the footage I’m sure.. Uhh.. right back to what I was saying… it’s no surprise that people will want to work here.. After all money is important for survival. Ha.. ha.. Ha.. um.. Which is why the quota for cashiers will be somewhat strict, not because we want to fire people, but just because we want to give people a chance to experience this wonderful store. Which is exactly why you will be expected to show up to 2 openings for quota each month. Failure to do that for two months will result in a removal from the store and a replacement will be found once we open for interviews again.. Got it? Okay.. I’m glad you got it.”
[!] The video ended. It seemed to be the last video in the employee section of the website. There were no more sections on the website until suddenly.. Before your eyes, a third section seemed to appear with one long video. This section labelled… [!}
What is an example of a monthly event your store would host?
[!] You click onto the first and only video in the event section of the website. Just as expected, the shopkeeper appears before you on the screen. He has an eyepatch over where the missing eye used to be, with several long scars going down his face that were still bleeding as he continued to talk to the camera. [!]

Since it will still be a normal opening where people can order, security will stand by the stairs to direct people into the respective classroom, as I intend to have at least 2 in the finished building. Now onto the location, the store's second floor, if that wasn’t obvious. They will be located upstairs in the second-floor classrooms. If the shrine is offering to teach Kendo, one of these people will be asked which they would like to go to before being let upstairs. Now you might be wondering how long it will last? It will last at least as long as an entire opening, which means it will be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. If the fitness instructors intend to go longer than an hour, they will have to let me know so I can keep the store open a bit longer. If anything else comes up that raises questions, I will be sure to address them properly to avoid any confusion about the event! But this is a general way of how I plan to have this event work.”

[!] A chill goes down your spine as he says that it makes you want to check when this video was posted again. January 1st 2026. 4 months ago, now the dread that fills you is unlike anything you’ve ever felt before. This man is likely dead, and all because nobody had ever checked this website to watch the videos until today. This man died because nobody had remembered he even existed outside of his store. [!]
“ANYWAY, onto the next event that we will be hosting monthly on different days than the fitness lessons, obviously! WE wouldn’t want that to clash with the all-important fitness lessons! Please.. You’ve got to go to these workout competitions! Because wow, they sure are fun! These workout competitions will be hosted at the end of each month to make sure you have plenty of time to train to BREAK OUT from the rest of the competition! Now you may be wondering what exactly these workout competitions will consist of? Well, I’m glad you asked! It’ll be changing each month to be a new piece of equipment, meaning you’ll need to train something entirely different each month! Since it’s important to work out the entire body instead of just one part of the body, or else it could be HARMFUL to you. These competitions will be open to everyone, which means that it’ll probably take a while! They’ll be hosted on the second floor of the store, where the classrooms are! Since it’ll also be during a regular opening, security will be doing the same thing as they will during the fitness lessons, where they’ll let people up, and once the second advert is sent out, then the competition will start! This will be hosted by our wonderful fitness coaches! Since… I’ll be occupied. That’s all for the workout competition! [!] An axe could be heard slamming against the door to his room as if someone were trying to break into the place with it. You watch as he opens a second door, holding the camera with him as he walks. You see him close the door and block it with a dumbbell rack. What is an example of a flash event your store would host?
Event #3: Equipment malfunction
[!] The video kept playing, but instead of being the shopkeeper in front of you, it was a news report that appeared on the screen in front of you. [!]
“Supōtsu Shisetsu equipment has a sudden malfunction!? Reports indicate that suddenly out of nowhere, the treadmills just went full speed, sending employees in the store who were working in the store that day flying, resulting in several injuries. It was still unexplained how this even happened in the store, but people suspect it was due to that suspicious shopkeeper working in the background, whom only a select few employees reported seeing during their entire time working under him. Reporting that every time they saw him, he looked more and more beat up. The police are launching a full investigation into this man and what exactly happened at his store that day. Alongside the treadmills going wrong, several pieces of equipment started breaking apart suddenly, just before they could be checked out at the front, just before the cashier could check the items out. This resulted in a couple of employees getting injured from sharp pieces of the equipment. The stock manager also reported that shortly after this event, several items went missing from stock, as if they had been stolen during the chaos. We can’t confirm or deny this due to the lack of cameras in the store's stock room, but we hope to have this figured out to give a full report in the future. More to be published in the future unless the trail goes cold.”

Event #4: Fashion Show

[!] He tried to remain cheerful, doing the only thing that could really calm him down in this situation. Talking about the different events his store will be hosting! If he survives that, is. [!]
“The next event that I plan to host is the ummm.. the .. fashion show.. That’s right, the fashion show! This will only be once a year since I want to put a lot of money into it… money that I don’t have but I will have if you just please buy things from my store.. I know it’s in like a random back alley, and there isn’t that much good stuff in it. I know I know that it’s a wreck but I can change if you just help me. Uhh.. right, the fashion show. I’ll be making applications on the website for it, and I’ll be letting 20 people participate, and if 20 people don’t show up, uhhh.. I’ll go find some modeling place to work with, since we have those in Karakura, right? It’s been so long since I’ve seen the beautiful streets of Karakura… anyway, ummm.. Then the people that I hire for it will be paid 25k just to enter and that’s already like 500,000 yen alone.. And then I’ll be paying 500k to whoever wins the fashion contest just to keep things exciting.. Isn’t that cool? 500,000 yen? That’s a whole 1 million yen being dedicated to this fashion show. Not to mention the entire store will be redesigned to match the fashion show theme. Umm.. obviously it’ll be gym wear since that’s my whole vibe at this store. That’s basically it for the fashion show idea.. I’ll probably add more to it once the time comes around at the end of hte year if I make it that far.. So uhh.. Ont- AHHH”
[!] His scream was timed exactly to when the door was broken open. The only thing keeping the obscured figures from getting to him was the dumbbell rack they couldn't seem to get through. He grabbed a bunch of other random furniture he had stored in this room of the store. Making a final barricade between him and the people outside. [!]

Event #5: Tryout Month
[!] He sat panicking in a corner. The sounds of several people groaning as they tried to push his furniture out of the way could be heard. Of course, it was too late for him to be saved. There was no chance he was getting out of this alive. This was 4 months ago. You could have saved him, but instead, here you are watching these stupid videos he published, all because you were bored one day and decided this was the best choice to spend your time doing. Not going to random out-of-the-way stores. Was this really your fault? He clearly made poor choices- Your thoughts are cut off as he continues to speak. [!]
“Uhh.. right.. Well since I guess this will be the final video I’ll ever get to post I should just tell you about the final event I would of wanted to host. Maybe someday, if someone finds this, they’ll be able to continue on what I wanted to do. Or maybe my store will become like others in this place.. Abandoned with no hope. Just like me right now even.. Hahaha.. Anyway, the final event. Tryout month. I wanted this to last a whole month, where each opening, our fitness instructors would be doing lessons after the openings for people to learn how to do sports. After all the school has tryouts and my focus happened to be on students in the school.. Did you know that? Yeah.. I wanted to make a difference in this town for the students. Each one doomed to be unable to defend themselves as they were attacked by people with weapons or maybe be bored in this town by lack of options on what to do.. Which is why I wanted to add all those fun games.. And exactly why I wanted to do tryout month where I could work with the team captains to have them teach their sport in the store.. Well, not inside the store, but get volunteers to learn how to play their sport, so that maybe they’d get extra people at tryouts. But instead, here I am about to die in this stupid store. [!] The furniture started to move more quickly as if there were even more people showing up. An opening was slowly starting to show in the barricade, but instead of screaming, he almost seemed at peace. [!]
“If I die.. Tell my daughter. I always loved her, and I would like her to take over my store one day to bring it back to its former glory. Or.. I suppose bring it glory since it never had any glory to begin with.”
[!] You pause the video as he says that. Nobody had ever truly heard of the store before. And if they did, they never talked about it. What if you find his daughter and interview her? Offer to buy the new store space that had opened up in Karakura. That’s right, the Jaibatsume store had recently been made available for purchase. You could buy it. Talk to his daughter and offer her the space as long as she pays you back at some point. You could bring back Supōtsu Shisetsu. It’s what he would have wanted after all. You unpause the video. [!]
“Tell my daughter.. Theda-”
[!] The opening had been made big enough for them to get in. You watch as obscured figures break into the room. The recording ends with an image of him trying to open the website on his phone. To post these videos so that maybe someone would have been able to help him in some way. But it didn’t matter. He died that day, or at least that’s what you chose to believe, and you.. You were going to talk to- [!]

[!] You ask the next question, expecting the same response of her being bored with you asking. But instead, she just frowns. Clearly, she did not like being asked about her education. [!]
“I dropped out just after I finished high school. So all I have is a high school diploma. I took like one year of college for economics, but got bored with that and dropped out of college too.”
Do you know the previous shopkeeper of Supōtsu Shisetsu?
[!] You adjust your seat. Showing her a picture of the previous shopkeeper. You watch her face change from confused to recognition. [!]
“I remember that face… my dad, Florentin Kiki. He left when I was young, though back when I lived in Germany with my mother. Because of him, my mother had to work more shifts, and he was the reason… I took part in a life that I regret to this day. But a life I’ll never truly be able to leave again, since I know my part in it. Why are you asking if I recognize him?”
Will you take over Supōtsu Shisetsu? It’s what he would have wanted.
[!] A question that seemed to make her face drop. You clarify what exactly had happened to her father. A single tear was going down her face. [!]
“I will take it over. But I want this to be crystal clear to you and whoever else put you up to this. I’m doing this for my own sake to make the store something I want. I’ll keep most of the things the same upon being given the property. But in the future, don’t expect that I will keep anything in this store related to him. He left me, and I’m doing this so I can take care of my kids and make sure I’m around more for my husband. Not because this is what he would have wanted. I hope you understand because I won’t be repeating it to you.”
[!] And with that, the new ownership of Supōtsu Shisetsu had been decided. The proper money is being invested in buying the land. Yet it would never be that simple; there was always competition for these kinds of stores. Would Supōtsu Shisetsu ever really exist again? Or would a new store take the place of Jaibatsumi? Only the future knows what happens next. [!]

Despite how unfriendly both characters in this application seem, I promise that I am actually a super-friendly person OOC! I also have plenty of leadership experience for shops having been a manager for one, stock manager for another, and finally a co-owner of one. Alongside that I am also a senior employee at one which I believe makes me especially good for this position.
