What is your motivation to lead a club within the school?
My motivation to lead this club lies in my desire for music, as well as my peer’s desire for music. When I was going over my ideas for wanting to do something big for the school, my mind immediately thought of music. I did notice that a performing arts club exists already, but I am not a theatre kid, no offense to them, and I know there are many like me who also appreciate music in forms other than performing and dancing, like singing and playing musical instruments. My motivation is to bring even more color into a school with every visible wavelength, not just to the eyes of spectators, but to the ears of listeners, and the souls of those who jammed out before me.
I’m also motivated by my own desire to be more social. I’m a shy person, always have been, ever since I was a child. So pushing myself to get out there and help lead a group of talented and remarkable individuals helps me reinforce my desire to lead this club. I’m not saying I’m going to be perfect, in fact many would argue that it’s going to be a disaster letting the shy kid lead a club of the most eccentric and chaotic group of kids known to man. But that’s the thing about being shy, if you break out of your shell enough, you’ll no longer need it. So I’m going to make sure that I, my peers, and my audience all have a wonderful time, learning and playing the music that brings us all together.
Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position?
I won’t lie to whoever views this application. I’ve seen other people who have also attempted to do the exact same as me, form a band of incredible people to make music. And they’re all pretty good in their motives. But if there’s anyone who can lead a community of musicians and composers at Karakura High, it’s going to be the son of a master trombonist and composer. That person is me, and I will use what my family and history have taught me to bring music to your ears, literally and metaphorically speaking.

What is the official title of your club?
Music Association of Karakura High(MAKH for short)
Provide a small summary of your club
This club aims to provide an alternative for those not looking to perform physically in the Performing Arts Club, but to focus on the musical and music theory sides of this art. It aims to bring together instrumentalists, vocalists, and even those who make the music themselves together into one place, where ideas can be collaborated on, friendships can form, and notes can be blasted at football games. No matter how you put it, this is a club meant to show off talent and hard work, all summed up into a beautiful symphony of voices, or just funny licks from the trombones.
Please gather five student members for your club and list their character names and usernames
Nir Staria(Mr_Karp)
Kaori Toma(Zvnea)
Asami Hirota(PaintedLily6)
Lucien Archambeau(AmazingLu2000)
Silk Griffyth(JarfullofHavoc)
Do you have a student councilor to supervise and assist your club? If yes, please provide their character name and username
I do not have a student councilor, but I wouldn’t mind anyone being provided to me.
You may ask any councilor that is not already a supervisor, if you can not find one, one will be provided to you upon acceptance.
Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?
The only requirements for the club are to either
Provide one school-wide event that your club may host
Concert performances, whether it be the band performing their pieces, the choir performing their songs, or even just for students to show off their musical skills in solos. Something else to consider is sports, because bands commonly play for their team during football games.
Provide one flash event that your club may host
When thinking of flash events, my first thought was “Hey, my dad said he did a lot of fundraisers for the band. Selling cookies and cheesecake to pay for what the directors can’t.” And I’m not saying that’s even a bad idea, being able to raise money to support the Music Association of Karakura High would be a wonderful idea.
Provide one club activity that your club might host
Activities I feel would best suit the club are small performances. Things like shows in small parts of town for the band, caroling and the like for choir, jazz night at a local pub, including singers, all of those are wonderful ideas for club activities.
Something to consider: I've noticed that many applications for music clubs are usually shut down due to a lack of engagement. While you are within your right to do the same to me, I will do everything I can to make this engaging, I will plan to make it fun. As a music major myself OOC, there's no one with more passion to see this through than me.

Please read through the following before preceding and confirm you understand
- Club Leader is considered an intermediate role, whilst we encourage players of all sorts to apply, please note that the tasks of a club leader can be intensive at times when it comes to meeting event's and club member management.
- When it comes to inactivity, it must be logged or you could face reprimand or possible termination in extreme cases, you are responsible for your own activity, your club's activity and your club's retention.
- Clubs must be student appropriate and easy to understand with a specific theme, this is to maximize student interest and remain realistic.
More information on what makes a good club theme can be seen here:
- Resource 1
- Resource 2 - We recommend having a basic understanding of leadership before becoming a club leader, this is to ensure the smooth management of your club's members, help will be provided along the way, from the faction lead, assigned student councilors to supervise your club.
I understand that this is an intermediate role, that the club must be appropriate, and that I must have a basic understanding of leadership.
