Describe your activity on the server.
I’ve been playing on this server for almost a year now and my activity on srp is above average. To rate my activity it’s a 7/10 because I got irl things to do in the mornings through the afternoons.
SundayMondayTuesdayWednesdayThursdayFridaySaturday
12am to 8pm2pm to 8pm4pm to 8pm4pm to 8pm4pm to 8pm2pm to 1am1pm to 1am

What is your motivation for applying?
I want to try something new and I’ve been gangrp for a long time, ever since I first hopped on SRP. But I stopped doing gangrp a few months back because there wasn’t anything besides running around chasing people in masks and then I found myself doing jockrp instead because it was better. I only say it’s better because the community there is friendly and quite fun to role play with and talk to out of jockrp. I had some ideas to join KPD a while back before I came back to SRP, plus this is my first time doing an actual application. So that’s also my reason for applying to KPD and I heard KPD is a faction that offers more roleplay than other factions do. Joining KPD would open a chance for me to expand to other roleplay that I’m not familiar with.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
I haven’t been in any faction relating to KPD and I haven’t done any other applicants, but I do know a few things from KPD/government/law and I can mention some basic things from it.

Handcuffs - Is a pair of steel handcuffs where it can be used to either restrain/detain individuals. If not tased them since it’s honor, but if the person isn’t tased then it requires an action/roll to cuff them if they wish to resist.
[OOCLY]: [RESISTABLE] [CANNOT MUG] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Stun Blaster - It's a long range device that can temporarily immobilise a suspect that may have tried to evade or violently hurt someone. It can stun the suspect for around a minute.
[OOCLY]: [8-BLOCK RANGE] [CANNOT MUG] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Radio - It’s a required item that is used by officers to communicate through KPD and EMS. Also this item can be destroyed with blunt weapons, and sometimes with sharp weapons. This item is not muggable but it is utilised to all officers in the force.
[OOCLY]: [BREAKABLE] [CANNOT MUG] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Body Camera - It's usually placed on the center mass of a police officer's outfit and it’s required to have it recording at all cost while patrolling. Also a reminder it can also be destroyed with blunt weapons, and sometimes with sharp weapons.
[OOCLY]: [BREAKABLE] [CANNOT MUG] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Pepper Spray - This item temporarily blind a suspect, giving the officer a chance to act on the target. But it doesn’t work if a person is wearing a gas mask on, since the effects will not work. It should be sprayed in the eyes since that’s how a pepper spray takes effect better.
[OOCLY]: [MID-RANGE] [CANNOT MUG] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Tranquilizer - It’s a long-range device that is used by both Sergeants and Detectives. It requires a roll to be taken out when in range of a target and it requires an action to roll and reload two darts into the chamber.
[OOCLY]: [20-BLOCK RANGE] [CANNOT MUG] [KPD SERGEANT & INSPECTOR EQUIPMENT]

Riot Shield - It’s a glass shield that is used by officers for protection. It also has two different modes for offense and defense. It requires an action and a roll to swap hands when the target is in range.
[OOCLY]: [BLOCKABLE] [MUGGABLE] [AUTHORIZED KPD EQUIPMENT]

Police Baton - The police baton is used in a close range combat situation. It also requires two hits to the head for a KO and it can be mugged from the hands. The baton has a two block range and is equipped on all officers.
[OOCLY]: [2-BLOCK RANGE] [MUGGABLE] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Breathalyzer - Police can use this item on their patrols or while in the station. It is used for finding out how drunk someone is. But I don’t know if it’s needed anymore since there is no more alcohol on the server. At least it’s important to have to make any type of calls.
[OOCLY]: [CLOSE-RANGE] [CANNOT MUG] [STANDARD KPD EQUIPMENT]

Luminol Spray - This item is used by all officers and it can be sprayed on any type of weapons/masks to find or detect any sort of blood that cannot be seen by the human eye.

Crowbar - Used by Corporals. It is used to pry open doors, crates, barrels, and anything that is locked. The intent of this is to get anything that is suspicious on a raid and is only used during raids.

First Aid Kit - It’s a metal box that holds bandages, tape, padding, and other medical supplies. It can grant a victim 5 more minutes to their bleed out timer.

Disposable Latex Gloves - It’s accessible to all on-duty officers and it can be used to avoid officers getting their fingerprints on weapons/masks.

Gas mask - Gas masks are both used for KPD and EMS to prevent chemical biological effects such as pepper spray.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
The police faction is important to Srp because of other roleplay like crime with its own roleplay. Without the police everything could go horribly down and no one will be able to stop those who are corrupt or hurt innocent people or others in general. That’s why we have police, to stop any attempt that is being made or any law-breaking in the community.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
I am fully aware of this and will not hesitate due to knowing this fully.

In-Character (IC) Section

What's your character's full name?
“My full name is Yusuke Yusa.”

How old is your character (if accepted)?
“I’m currently 25 years old.”

What are your character's gender and pronouns?
“I’m a male and I go by He/Him.”

Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application:
(Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD)

“My highest academic qualification was a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.”

What languages does your character know besides Japanese?
“I currently don’t speak anything besides Japanese, since I was born and raised here.” ponder a bit, because he wanted to learn other languages as well. “If I get the chance to, I would love to learn other languages as well!”

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
“Do I really need to describe myself?” looked a bit confused, since he was standing in front of them but he gave in since it was probably the right thing to do. “Okay, I’ll do it.”

Yusuke is an extroverted Japanese male, who stands at 5 '10. With his brown eyes, that was semi blending in with his tan skin and with his lean body which would look like he would’ve been a perfect fit for modeling instead of doing police force. He loves wearing baggy hoodies, most of the time because they are just comfortable to wear all the time!

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?

“It doesn’t matter where I am at currently, since this city is already quite dangerous and I would rather do my best to change this city. Into a safe place for others in the future."

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
“I like having a co-worker, but I do love doing teamwork since it’s way more efficient for any situation.” softly gasp remembering a few of his teamwork activities. “I remember back then playing a tag game called infection and we did amazing with the teamwork tagging the other players-” quickly covered his own mouth from blabbing nonsense. Then the male lowered his hand down to his side and he let out a soft sigh right before continuing on. “Sorry, for blabbing all of that nonsense.” slightly bowed to them for an apology for his blabbing.

What's your character's backstory?

The start
On the southwestern side of Kii Peninsula, Yusuke Yusa was a bright and cheerful child who was raised by two loving parents in Wakayama, Japan. Justice was a cheerful child who made quite a few friends and he loved sight seeing.

Until a major accident where two natural disasters hit Wakayama. It had everyone in Wakayama in distress and panicking on what to do since this is the first time Wakayama is having a double earthquake at the same time. Everyone was still caught off guard by the first quake that hit the region, they didn’t have time to react to the followed up by a larger shock at the same time. This event triggered tsunamis along the Pacific coast clashing up against the offshore which caused damage and it injured quite a lot of people from this natural disaster. There were still some aftershocks that would randomly shake Wakayama.

After the whole double earthquake situation that no one could stop, Yusuke and his parents were stuck underneath some rubble at their home. Yusuke slowly was awakened from loud banging noises and scraping. When he opened his eyes he was panicking and crying for help underneath the rubble with his parents protecting him. Then after a few minutes there were some voices above him, so he yelled at the top of his voice for help, until more voices came closer and closer.

Teenage
As Yusuke was entering his teenage life he could not forget how those officers and civilians helped him and his parents out of the rubble. He could remember everything and how he was crying and amazed at how brave they were risking their life saving other people's lives who were in risk. That’s when it hit Justice, he wanted to be someone who can protect and save others who are in need!

At the age of seventeen, Yusuke's family came to Karakura to start a new chapter in their life from the earthquakes they experienced. But he knew deep down on what he wanted to be from what he had seen back at Wakayama.

Youth
In Yusuke's college years he took a course about criminal justice. He knew that this would take time and hard effort, but he was ready for this since he was a kid. Yusuke prepared for anything that could come in his way for getting into the police force! He wants to be brave and save people's lives, because it was the right thing to do.

After a few years Justice was turning twenty-four, and he knew immediately what to do right after graduating from college. He’s going straight into the Karakura Police Department, to pursue his dreams to be something bright and save lives at all cost! Over the last year of being a college student Yusuke has finally achieved his bachelor degree for criminal justice.

Emerging Adulthood
Now finally at twenty-five, Yusuke Yusa could finally take that last step by joining the Karakura Police Department and start his journey. Becoming the braveness man that saves lives and help others who are in need!

General knowledge

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
“No, you can not legally own a pocket knife. If you were found one you will be charged with possession of illegal weaponry and be sentenced to prison. This charge alone is a felony and more charges could be added on if there is any use on the knife.”

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription.
Paracetamol - 1,500 per pack, used for temporary pain relief.
Multivitamins - 3,500 per pack, medication consisting of vitamins.
Iron Supplements - 2,500 per pack, medication for an iron-deficiency.
Melatonin - 3,000 per pack, mainly used for sleep problems.
Cough Syrup - 6,000 per pack, used to relieve common cold effects.

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
“I would immediately step in, and check up on the situation. Next I would check up on the inmate to see any visible marks that my co-worker did to the inmate and then I would pull my co-worker to the side and ask them a few questions on why they did that to the inmate.” took in a deep breath and exhaled it out slowly. “If my co-worker didn’t communicate to me at that very moment and held on to some information on why they did that to the inmate. I would immediately report this to the higher ups, since this could cause a lot of problems for both sides.”

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
“If a co-worker is being assaulted, I would immediately rush into their aid immediately.” grasped onto his own hands together. “I would be extra careful taking into action, because it depends on the situation. If my co-worker was seriously injured, I immediately radio in for the EMS for a down officer and then I would bring my co-worker to the hospital as quickly as possible. But if the situation is different with criminals. I would resort to the best opinions that would protect both of us from any sort of danger.” slightly lean forward a bit. “I will mostly like to have enough time to radio in for backup, but in the meantime I will do my absolute best to keep me and my fellow co-worker alive until backup arrives.”

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
“Reporting without any sort of evidence wouldn’t be enough…” heavily exhaled out, as he leans back and carefully thinks about what sort of ideas that could be useful in that kind of situation to gather enough evidence on a corrupt co-worker. “I try to make some sort of plan with a few other officers' suspicions about a corrupt police officer-” had to take a pause for a few seconds because what if that plan did not work very well because the other officers told that co-worker on what is happening and that was like some sort of a hint to lay low. “Wait, no instead of asking the other officers to help I could carefully dive into situations more and gather enough evidence against them and I could make a report without getting snitched on or looking stupid for getting evidence on a corrupt co-worker.”

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
Exhaled roughly after answering a few rough questions that could lead to anything in the police force. “Bribery?” took another pause for a few seconds on what I should do, then I shocked my head to the side. “I would make sure that I had my bodycam on just in case if they tried to incriminate me for doing something I didn’t do. Then I would look around at my surroundings to see any cameras that are nearby for my protection.” was about to end it off there, but I almost got to give my response to the question. “Oh, my response if they tried to bribe me. I would immediately deny it and I’ll give them a warning about attempting to bribe an officer. Since that would lead to immediate arrest and additional charges, but at the end of the day they would receive a fine.
