Describe your activity on the server:
I’ve been an on and off player of SRP since around late 2018 to early 2019. Saying I am invested in this community is an understatement. Around a year ago, I had come back from what I thought would be my final goodbye from the server. Funny how things change! I’ve always had a knack for writing, but writing with other people to make an amazing story? That is RIGHT up my ally. It’s something I’ve been doing for as long as I can remember, so of course.. I would fall back down the rabbit hole that is SRP. I have a lot of free time in my life, so I put the majority of it towards the things that I enjoy, one of those things being SRP!

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
The student council is a group of elected students who work together to represent not only the interests and concerns of the students who make up the school but also to enforce rules that help keep them on track of what's right and wrong, and keep their futures bright! The council collaborates with SLT and other school staff, such as teachers and professors, to improve the school's environment, organize events, and give students a say in decisions that affect them and their time at school.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
To be honest, I’ve always had my eye on the council since I returned to SRP about a year ago. It not only seemed intriguing but also suitable for my character! Though I will say that my character didn’t always appear ‘Student council worthy,’ which is why she was on the high school cheer team for as long as she was! She’s a bit of a diva. I feel as though most of my time on SRP has been spent with the sports faction, which I’ve been part of (on and off) for a few years now. From college track captain to college cheer (TWICE!), high school fem volleyball, and then highschool cheer (ALSO TWICE!), I think it's about time I move on to something new, regardless of how fun those teams were and still are. Long ago, I was actually friends with the previous college council presidents! I was also on the build team, so I was usually involved in helping with events and construction, so it isn’t ENTIRELY unfamiliar to me. As I mentioned before, I’ve always been interested in the council; it’s just that no time ever felt right. Until now! I really hope I can broaden not only my roleplay by joining but also help improve the experience for the player base on the server with the school faction!
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
Of course! The student council is a group of students, or else it wouldn't be much of a council. Creativity is essential when it comes to events and activities. I’ve been part of the SRP community for a long time, so I've not only attended many events but also helped bring those ideas to life as a past build team member. I worked closely with both the SLT and the council for a long time, and I would love to get back into that role! This time, being more involved in planning and leading events instead of just building them.
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
President : Being the student council president, either it be for highschool or college, is a VERY important role! They serve as the main representative of the student body, leading meetings, coordinating and planning events, and acting as a connection between the students and the school staff! Mainly SLT, I’d say. They maintain balance and make sure that their council team members are doing what they are meant to be doing in order to keep the students' futures bright!
Vice - President : The vice president is basically the president's right hand man! They support the council president in their decisions and planning whilst also taking over for them in their absence. If the president isn't around for whatever reason it may be, your next stop would be the vice president!
Council : The rest of the council works beneath the president and vice president, as one would assume. Their job is to make sure that all students are following the rules and doing what they need to be in order to move forward! Either it be handling petty squabbles or assisting school staff!

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
“I like to believe that most situations such as this should not be met with immediate scolding. I mean, that doesn't get anyone anywhere, does it? I feel as though it could only fuel the fire of an unknown size, possibly making the situation worse than it is. Always approach a situation with concern, not anger. We are meant to help and guide, not yell and blindly criticize. We are all people at the end of the day, no?” Is that what her elders would expect of her to say? She could only hope, to be honest. She WAS doing this for them after all. “I would suggest to the student that maybe we should step away from the assembly and find a much quieter place to discuss what exactly was going on and why it was happening. Assemblies can be quite.. Loud and obnoxious at times, I think.” What did she just say? Wasn’t she meant to encourage things such as assemblies? Erm.. anyways. “Now, depending on their answer.. There are many different roads that could open up in terms of dealing with a situation that could, for all I know, be something that wasn’t even that serious to begin with. However, I believe that a verbal warning should be given unless SLT or other school faculty are required to step in.”
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
“Now, to be honest.. I would rather die than run around in heels, even if I tend to do that on a daily basis for my friends as is. But to stop a student from running away from me and not listening?” The Saiky sighed, seemingly defeated just thinking about it. Now, was she lazy? Or just a drama queen? One can only assume. “I would either intercom for them to make their way down to the reception myself or have another member of the school faculty do it instead. Calling one down to the front desk shockingly does wonders! As a former cheerleader. .I can only go into so much depth about the shivers you get down your spine when being called for doing something you haven't done!” Haven’t done? Now, we all know this ex-cheerleader got into her fair share of mischief. “Or.. in this case, have done.” Clearing her throat, she continued. “Now, depending on if this student actually shows up or not, their consequences may vary.. But the least they would get is a warning and maybe even a cute little detention slip!”
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
“Well, if I was sitting in the room where it happened-” Hamilton reference! “I would probably have somewhat of an idea on the matter.. But I don’t think it could hurt to obviously check in with the teacher and their concerns beforehand. After what I can only hope was a helpful elaboration, I would suggest taking the student who made the..” She paused and scrunched her nose. “Distasteful artwork and verbal threats, and the student who was being verbally assaulted aside and to seperate spaces in order to get both sides of the story without needless interruption.” Biting down on the inside of her cheek, Mei-Lien really thought about her next steps. She disliked lack of context.. But that is what this job called for sometimes! “Again, depending on how this continues.. And if the safety of another student was truly put at risk, SLT may need to be contacted.. Along with a parent or two.” She wanted to make a snarky remark with that last sentence, but luckily refrained from doing so.. Sigh! She had to act professional. “If not, however.. Then I would suggest a detention. Me personally? I don’t find threats all that appealing..” Even if she HAS made one or two in the past.. But they didn’t need to know that! “I also don’t enjoy others using art as a way to harm others, either it be physical or emotional damage.” Once more, her nose scrunched with disapproval. That’s what they get for offending an artist! “It’s just.. loathsome, I’d say.”
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
“As a former bobcat cheerleader, I have been a part of MAAANY protests in my day.” Girl, pack it up.. You're 19. “Hashtag.. Cindy Wong is never wrong..” Mei-Lien cleared her throat! What did she just say..? DOESN’T MATTER! “Everyone deserves the right to protest what they believe is right and wrong and what they want changed or so on. I mean, everyone has opinions…” She then grumbled under her breath. “Unfortunately..” Ironic coming from QUITE the opinionated young woman! “Of course, this protest of theirs must be executed in an orderly fashion. No harm or spread of negativity- because, no offense.. But I don’t want to hear close minded people whining and complaining over things with simple fixes.” Pausing, she realized there was more to this question than her.. well, opinion. “Depending on what exactly they are protesting, and if it was appropriate.. I suppose I would speak with my higher ups on the matter. SLT should have no problem with setting up a lil somethin’ somethin’ if it meant betterment for their students, wouldn't you agree?” A hefty sigh had then escaped her lips. “But, it is good to keep in mind that no matter how much work you do and how many things you agree to or change ‘for the better’, not everyone will be happy. You cannot please everyone, and that is just the sad truth.” She paused, blinking. “Apologies.. Did I get a little carried away?” Yes. Yes she did.
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
“I’ll be transparent here. . but I despise being told I’m wrong. It’s the best way to get my blood boiling, I will admit.” Was that a good thing to confess to? Probably not, but sometimes this Saiky in particular just HAD to voice her thoughts. “BUT!. .” She paused, really thinking about it. Ugh, even thinking about being wrong made her skin crawl. “I wouldn’t be offended as long as I’m informed properly on my so-called mistake. An explanation would be given by me that I was, in fact, taught and told differently! Now, would that be my fault? No, but for my self respect, I will not be taking any criticism that isn't constructive and of use to me.” Talk about a total diva.. “Assuming the teacher or.. What was it? Receptionist? Doesn’t go to my higher ups about the matter, then I would do so. Informing them of what I was told and why.”
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
Campus Apocalypse Drill
The skies of Karakura darkened with gray clouds that threatened to release harsh rain and deafening crashes of thunder. Has it ever been this foggy before? Surely it was nothing out of the ordinary! Right? Well, the students of both Karakra High School and Karakura college would soon be sorely mistaken. This was not another normal day at school. The building would soon be eerily echoing with groans and growls coming from.. What was that? ZOMBIES?
“Now, if you know me.. You know that I’m actually hemophobic! I have a fear of blood, basically. Fake or not.. Anything that even slightly resembles the stuff makes my knees buckle and causes me to go crashing to the floor! So.. as fun as an event this may be.. You can find me in the council room.” Despite the Saiky’s stated fear, she continued on with her explanation! “Now, how this will work.. Is- it will basically be a game of tag, a scavenger hunt. .and capture the flag all in one! Sounds fun, don’t ya think?” She shockingly seemed pretty proud of her idea! “I once had a convo with an old footballer on the highschool males team, Dean Sawyer! He was shocked I had never seen a zombie film before.. Well! Does this make up for it?”
How it will work :
- Council members along with other school faculty will dress up as zombies! The zombies will run around in an attempt to tag students! If you get tagged? You’re infected! You’re out!
- Around the school, there will be THREE antidotes for the zombie virus! It is up to the students to find and collect these cures. It can either be through answering a riddle correctly, completing parkour, or even just finding it in the most obscure spot. Now, you may be wondering! ‘Can I use the cure on my friends to get them back in the game?’ Yes! BUT there is a catch. You need ONE cure intact to win the game. If not? Then.. I guess the world will perish? That would be awkward.
- After a set amount of time, there will be an announcement made to the students of a SAFE ZONE! Get the cure back there and you get a special prize! The rest of the survivors will also receive a prize, and there will of COURSE be a participation reward too! So even if you do turn into a zombie.. You are still a winner!
Vail Number One : The Scientist
Chaotic laughter fills the eerie halls of the school, particularly the dark and damp boiler room that most people don't dare to enter. Who was it in there? Laughing away without a single care in the world whilst mindless and hungry zombies chase down every last breathing thing within the campus walls. A man with hair that matched the crazed look in his eyes, laughing louder and louder as the chaos worsened. Students who were once whispering answers to one another in class now sluggishly moved through the fog cloaked halls, making it difficult for any survivors to enter his makeshift lair. You may be wondering, why would anyone WANT to go in there and come face to face with the man who started it all? Well, as you enter the dimly lit room, you would notice an indestructible case behind him.. And in it? An antidote. A vial that could bring a friend or family member back from the dead! OR! Lead to an even bigger cure for all of the schools' lost students and staff. His laughter continued before you, the survivor was met with a riddle. Only the correct answer will get you this cure.
“What has ridges and grooves but little depth?
That’s incomprehensible to understand its breadth?
What ties to the soul and controls all types of things?
That puppeteers with the absence of strings?”
Vail Number Two : A Race To The Top
As students band together to form an answer to the evil scientist's riddle, other survivors are found desperately climbing to the top of the stage located in the gymnasium. As booming chaos continued, the downfall of the building that held so many memories was coming to an end. Ceilings collapsing, support beams piling up against one another, wires and lights swinging back and forth above shattered glass from broken windows. And at the top? Another vail, another antidote that can be used either for a cure for all.. Or only for one. It was locked inside another indestructible case, one similar to the case in which that crazy scientist was gatekeeping all to himself. Would the students racing to the top make it in time before the rubble collapses further? Or will their shaken hands betray them and send them falling to their demise?
Vail Number Three : The Missing Piece
The last and final vail has been lost. Not stolen, not broken.. Just lost- misplaced. Maybe the real reason that scientist was crazy was not because he started this whole thing, but he also misplaced the items needed in order to reverse it! Students and other survivors scramble the floors of the school building in frantic search for this last vail, but where is it?! Well, that I cannot tell you.. But what I CAN tell you, is that it rests in a place of mystery and scandal. Tucked away behind piled desks and guarded by spiders and their freshly woven webs. Zombies weren’t the only ones looking for a meal you know! Would the students be able to find it time and make it to the safe zone? Only time can tell.
THE END!
Now that the students gathered all the antidotes, the police have arrived for them in order to restore peace and balance to the world. NO MORE ZOMBIES! But you MUST have at least ONE antidote in order for this to happen.. Now, you may be wondering.. ‘What happens if the students used all three antidotes on their friends?! Is the world forever at an end!?’. Well, fear not! For there is a FORTH ONE! Who would have thought? Oh.. it was actually in the back pocket that belonged to THE Doug Brown. What a silly guy, so forgetful! Oh well, at least the world will be saved!

Personal Information
(in character)
Name:
Mei-Lien Saiky
Gender:
Female
Age:
19 years of age
Phone number:
(030) - 289 - 4412
How would you describe your personality?:
“I’ve been told that I am lots of things.. Beautiful being at the top of the charts.” What an EGO. “I mean, it’s in the name. Mei-Lien? Duh. .” Girl, not everyone knows what your name means. Back to the topic at hand, she pondered on a conversation she had that was quite similar to this question. “I do not speak unless I have reason to. If I have nothing worth saying? I won’t waste my breath or the time of those with a low brain capaci-. . .” She paused, clearing her throat. Ermmm.. Smile and wave boys! Smile and waaaave.. “Or the time of those that it is.. Useless to.” Heh.. nailed it! “I feel as though a lot of people are strong believers that I don't think before I speak sometimes. If I'm honest? Sometimes I don't, but I would be lying if I stated that I don't overthink at least one of the sentences I say to someone.” Irises of gold flickered down slightly, faltering as she gave it some more thought. How would she describe her personality? Or.. how did she WANT to? “I’m confident, charismatic.. I try to follow what's in my moral code, if you will.” Deadpanning, she just had to get real for a second. “But I WILL tell you if your shoes are hideous and your outfit is fugly.” Mei-Lien flashed the brightest grin imaginable, did she have braces at one point? “Think of it as a favor!” Straightening her posture, her eyes locked forward. Confidence was key! So why did she hesitate? Even if it was just by a tad? “. . .I believe in doing the right thing, even if it’s difficult. . So! Ya know. .” Those eyes that were so locked in had once again faltered. “But yeah, I’m pretty cool.”
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
Hailing from the radiance of a powerful dragon was the confidence of Mei-Lien Saiky, a girl that stood at the height of 5'6 with dark, auburn hair flowing past her shoulders. All that stood before the tanned girl would bask in her judgemental, sarcastic caramel-eyed stare that dominated all around her. A singular dot loomed underneath her left eye, adding more to her opulence. Riddling both her ears were a plethora of piercings with a single septum rotated in the skin of her nose.
What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
“To be quite frank, I don’t think you have people who have been on both sides of the board.” The young woman's pearlescent smile was blinding, to say the least.. And it only seemed to grow brighter. Was that confidence shining through, or was it just her ego again? “When it comes to the student council. .I am sure that one thing they all have in common is thinking that a team is the most difficult to deal with at times. And I, as a former cheerleader, know what it’s like to be the one who tucks her tail and runs at even the MENTION of a detention.” She scoffed. “I get it, you don’t.. And that's okay! Because now I’m here to help, obvi. .” Was she being serious? Oh, yeah. Deadly. “I know the ins and outs of a trouble maker's mind. Not only that, but I’m known amongst my former sports team peers.. Known and liked!” LIKED? She was! For the most part.. That was a topic for another day. “Aside from the school scene. .I am also an advisor for my family. I’m no stranger when it comes to addressing situations you don't want to, and solving for the best course of action that follows those situations mentioned.” Taking a deep breath, she sighed.. Quite dramatically. “I’ll be honest with you here. I am aware that I can be a lot, and.. Dramatic- and..over the top? But that doesn't take away from my awareness or my thought process behind serious topics.” Her throat cleared. AHEM! “I wasn't just Mei-Lien Cynthia Cindy Wayne Kozo Hamasaki Xin Nobara Heddo Tsukiyo Kirishiki Tuffin Elizabeth Tilly Ti-Ti-Ti Face Minogue Buss Down Sukianna Valentina Cruz Jr. Saiky!” A breath was TAKEN. Was that meant to be a NAME? Well.. Yes! That was her cheer name. “Ya know.. A bratty cheerleader with a brain the size of a raisin.. That would just be- absurd. Give me some credit, yeah?”
Why do you want this position?:
“As I’ve stated time and time again, I used to be a cheerleader! Which- I take a lot of pride in. It’s not easy, you know..” Golden hues narrowed. “But obviously, that time is far behind me. I’m older! I have things to prepare for and a name to strengthen and shine light onto.” What was once an egotistical young lady here had now turned into one that was far more serious. Not to say that she wasn’t before?! “. . .I want to make my family proud, you know? I mean- doesn’t everyone?” Mei-Lien buffered for a moment, pondering further on the question. Why? Why… “I understand that most people come into this wanting to make the school a better place, which I do! I want to make the lives of everyone who attends easier and more efficient, including my own. But.. I would be lying if I claimed to not have a goal in mind. To not have a selfish need in the back of my head.” Eyeing her hands, she mindlessly spun the ring resting around her finger. A frequent habit of hers. “I want to better myself into someone my friends and family can be confident in and proud of. Someone that my younger relatives and peers can look up to and aspire to be.” Releasing a somewhat defeated exhale, she concluded her thoughts. “No one gets anywhere alone!. . .” It wouldn’t be that easy to humble her! Eugh.. she was too transparent for too long! “Or so they say.”
What interests you the most about student council?:
“It would look flashy on my resume, don’t you think? I mean, it’s an ideal role to have.. Especially if you plan to actually DO something with your life.” In a town full of thugs? Yeah.. you could say something like that. “Which, I do. I want to do something with my life. I wish for my journey and everyone else's not only to be easier but better as well.” HEAVY on the ‘MY journey’ part. “I feel as though a lot of my points mentioned in the previous question tie into this one as well, and not to waste anyone's time.. I am trying my best not to repeat myself.” She grinned. “Save some of us some time, hm?”
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know.” Was she meant to say that? No. GIRL? Get it together. “Er.. I mean! I’d like to think a lot. I shockingly have a lot of patience, I am GREAT with executing tasks given to me, oh! And I never half ass- I mean.. Slack? With anything expected of me. I put my all into everything I do.. I mean, who goes into something big expecting it to be easy? Easy is boring.. And lame, if you ask me.” She scoffed. “And I am NOT boring OR lame.” If she could z-snap without it being cringe, she would.
