Heiii i've been struggling with shading my art recently and i would love to read some tips >.<

ALSO. for the back of the hair—the grey could have some darker shading within it to really add depth ^^

Your line art and choice of colors really hit love it. What you lack is value depth, it looks 2d. I'd recommend you to do some value studies of still-life or anatomy with only black and white. You can start with two values and move your way up from there.

Based on what you have, its good! The clothes are a bit difficult to shade and i think you did well.

it helps me to think about WHERE the livjt comes from, left right up down behind, ao it doesnt look like the light is all over the ppace

it can also be helpful to color the wntire piece in a multiply layer of your shading color and then erase where the light us instead of drawing on the shadinfo

Art is a spectrum of sorts! Your shading is fine, since it's your own personal art style, but if you'd want to get "better" shading, I suggest learning color theory if you haven't already! <3
