What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Many, many experiences! For a long time before I got my laptop, I used to roleplay on YouTube or an app called 'Amino' for a long time, and if it wasn't on those, then I did roleplay a bit on Roblox (games like Royal High and ext.) too!
Then once I got my laptop, I remembered about SRP (I used to play SRP a bit back around 2019-2020, but stopped because it was on my stepdad's computer which he took when he and my mom split.) So that's when I began playing SRP again and I've been playing it for about a year and a few months now! SRP and do roleplay a bit on Echoes too!
What is your motivation for applying? I have many motivations for joining this team/faction.
One of those reasons is to personally try to put myself out there and try some new type of roleplay! Maybe learn a new roleplay style from this experience! When I was much younger, I always wanted to be a doctor or something in the medical field but as I grew older, I kind of loss interest because of all of the blood, organs and that type of thing. I'm not usually squeamish when it comes to that stuff, but some of it can be a bit much... That's why instead of applying as a doctor, I'm going with psychiatrist. Psychiatrists focus more on diagnosing mental, emotional and behavior disorders!
Other reasons are just me trying to get out of my comfort zone and being able to communicate more with other people and simply being able to interact with others more! I try my hardest to be active and online when I'm needed!!

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
I admit, I don't have much information on these roles, but I'll try to explain them as best as I can!
Hospital Director
Hospital director is the lead and the one who oversees and is in charge of the hospital! This lead focuses more on overseeing things and details about the hospital, they often are the one, who focus more into hiring new people. They also handle big decisions like changes to the hospital. Besides all that, they also make sure that the hospital is in an all-around functioning state for others.
Basically the Hospital Director is the top-level leader of the hospital. They oversee everything from patient care to financial, insurance and ext. The Hospital Director is strategic and ensuring when it comes to operating the hospital with efficiency. They're to ensure that the hospital functions and works good enough for everyone to get treated right!
Clinical Lead
Clinical Lead is one of the heads of a certain department, most problems and issues would go to them if they're not too serious enough for the Hospital director to be called for! They take leadership within their clinical area, focusing on patient's care quality or safety and the best practice implementation to ensure that it's up to clinical standards are met and kept up. They also help manage a team of staff and help out with new hires when it's needed, but it also depends on the Clinical Lead's department is in.
Clinical Supervisor
The Clinical Supervisor is likely the second in command to the Clinical Lead. They insure and look out for new members who have joined the team, they make sure new members get through their training and they help out the lacking / less educated, new members out whenever it's needed!
The Clinical Supervisor is typically a healthcare professional who oversees the work of other clinicians. They provide guidance, support and leadership when other workers need help. They're helpful when it comes to clinician development when it comes to the team!
Paramedic
Paramedics are the first dispatchers and responders when it comes to certain emergencies, they're the ones to reach out and take care of people outside of the hospital, for the ones who are unable to help themselves! They also can help out with Karakura Police Department, in certain cases... From what I know of, have seen and heard, though I'm not 100% certain if that's entirely true or not.
Basically Paramedics are trained professionals who provide and take emergencies outside of the hospital setting, they're the ones who respond to emergency calls and provide immediate care at the scene. To other workers, they can be seen as a extender because of their medical care knowledge! They also help out doctors when it's needed!
Doctor
Doctors typically help out and handle a wide range of medical issues, like diagnosing, surgeries, performing different procedures, prescribing medication to others, handling and treating others with care and much more. The list can go on and on, and there's many different types of doctors for certain things, it just depends on what they focused or studied in mainly. Doctors are the ones who tend to focus more on physical health and holistic care, though this verifies depending on the type of doctor.
In shorter terms, Doctors basically are the ones who diagnose, treat and prevent illnesses and injuries. They can offer preventative measures to ensure patients are maintaining their healthcare. Doctors tend to more physical injuries and problems, compared to a Psychiatrist who helps patients mentally.
Psychiatrist
Psychiatrists specifically specialize and focus more onto mental health related stuff when it comes to others. They tend / handle to patients with diagnosed mental disorders like depression, OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), schizophrenia, PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder), DID (dissociative identity disorder) and many more. Anything related more on the mental health side, they take care of. They can give patients medications when it's needed and can also provide therapy for others, when it's needed or requested.
Basically Psychiatrists are qualified to diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of many different types of mental or emotional disorders. Psychiatrists use a combination of medication and therapy, depending on the patient and their mental or emotional disorder. Psychiatrists can also prescribe medications and do certain treatments relating to mental health.
Veterinarians
Veterinarians or also known as Veterinary Surgeon or simply as Vet are medical professionals who specialize in taking care and making sure animals are alright! Veterinarians diagnose, treat and prevent diseases and injuries in animals, basically how doctors take care of people! Veterinarians have a role when it comes to health management in animals, reproduction and conservation.
They're the ones who care for the health and safety of animals. They treat all sort of animals! Mostly pets (like dogs, cats, birds and ext.)

Character Backstory (Optional):
Chapter one: "Early start."
In the early start of his life, his family grew up in a city called Xiangyang, in China. Arbutus's mother soon got hired as a new nurse when he turned five years old and at an early young age is where Arbutus got his interest in the medical stuff.
One time, Arbutus had drawn himself wearing a doctor's outfit and pretending to help out people!
Once Arbutus turned seven, his grandparents moved into his parent's house because they needed medical assistance. Because they had some walking disabilities / problems, so they needed a lot of attention.
They needed a lot more attention than Arbutus, which caused some tension between Arbutus and his grandparents. He understood why they needed a lot of attention, but he couldn't understand why they needed *ALL* the attention! Tension grew into jealousy as time went on and all of the attention was put onto Arbutus's grandparents. Some of that jealousy even turned to hatred. . .
Even things toned down when Arbutus grew a bit older, he got used to the lessened attention and so, he poured his interest and attention into books.
Chapter two: "The disappearance of a Stribog."
When Arbutus was twelve years old, both of his parents got into this incident. . .
Arbutus and his parents used to take boating and well fishing trips a lot. A particular night, both his parents wanted to go on a solo boat ride of only them.
Everything seemed around, till about 1:30 am... Arbutus had woken up to find his father sitting in front of the front door, he seemed completely drenched from head to toe and noticeably his mother wasn't around. . .
Which brought Arbutus great concern, as they would've been the only two on the boat. "Father... Where's mom?" Arbutus had asked, a few times but each time, he had tried to ask... He was only met with silence.
Once Arbutus had figured out what had happened, he was in shock for a bit as well. . . Apparently his mother had fallen in, when they both tried making it back to shore... And his father didn't notice she fell in, till it was too late.
Arbutus eventually grew out of his shock after a few days, mostly because his father was in shock still. He wasn't talking, wasn't eating or drinking much. . . So, Arbutus took it a pound himself to take care of his father.
Chapter three: "Something snapped."
Once Arbutus was fifteen, another incident occurred. . . One that was a lot darker in nature.
Arbutus was turning and shifting in bed uncomfortably, as he felt a present nearby. He peaked open an eye, practically freezing up when he saw his father standing there.
His father was drenched in blood, his eyes were as wide as ever and he seemed practically insane... He watched in silence as his father was hovering over him and breathing heavily. . . His father mumbled something in Chinese, before he turned the blade on himself.
Arbutus was still frozen as he watched it happen, he didn't know what to say or do... Then suddenly he heard sirens in the background. He listened as they drew closer and closer to the once lively house that was now in a cold silence.
Arbutus heard a knock on the door, but he was still frozen in fear... He really didn't know what to do anymore. After a few knocks on the door, the officers kicked it open and soon began searching inside.
Officers soon found Arbutus laying in his bed still with his father's body nearby on the ground... They could see that Arbutus was clearly in shock, as the officers brought him to the station.
He was the only remaining survivor in the house. Arbutus stayed at the station for questioning, to calm down and get in contact with other remaining family members.
The police officers took it a pound themselves to call Arbutus's older cousin for him to stay with them.
Chapter four: "Settling in."
By the time Arbutus was sixteen, he had been staying with his older cousin for a few weeks now.
Arbutus was as quiet as ever. After that horrifying incident, he kept to himself and would just read books all day. . . Arbutus began focusing on what he wanted to be when he was older.
He knew he wanted to be something in the medical position, he just didn't know what yet. He knew he was still a bit young to be thinking about that, but it gave him something to focus and work towards. It was a distraction from what had happened at his old home.
He wasn't entirely sure what role to take in the medical field... So, for now, he just poured his time into books and high school.
He had settled in with his cousin quite well and had grown quite close to his cousin, but he was still pretty quiet after that incident.
After two years, Arbutus had grown used to the incident and had taken enough time to recover... He still had scars from it and was still quite silent from the incident. But he at least had gotten better...

Not many people liked him much, but he still managed to make a few friends and was able to fit in somewhere. Arbutus had even joined the local book club, he didn't go *too* often though... Since he was focused on his studies more.
After a few years of studying, Arbutus had finished college successfully with both degrees! He had gotten a degree in psychology and his medical degree, which both he studied hard for and had gotten them!

When Arbutus had turned 24, almost 25... He had gotten a job as a the******.
With ease, he had taken the job. After his cousin took him in and he had been living with his cousin for so long, Arbutus left like he had to repay his cousin somehow. So, he began working as a local the****** nearby.
Being a the****** was easy for Arbutus and he found it exceptionally amazing to be able to talk about other's worries, fears, stress and be able to soothe it over and have the patients talk about it in general.
He loved the feeling of being able to talk to others and make them at least feel kind of better. It brought a great feeling to Arbutus's heart.

He remembered hearing his cousin talk about Karakura once, so since he had enough... He packed a few bags and had taken a flight to Karakura, it wasn't a very long flight, and it wasn't too far from home, but it definitely was different all the same.
Once he arrived at Karakura, he quickly made sure to settle himself in and explore around. It wasn't as big as Xiangyang, but it was a decent side for someone like himself.
Arbutus quickly got himself a place, once he settled into his new place... He rang his cousin to check in and to let them know that he had made it here.
After staying in Karakura for a few weeks, he had heard that the local hospital was open for some positions. He was curious about them; he took a bit of studying as he looked around the hospital.
So now, here he is... Applying for the psychiatrist part. He knows that deep down the******s and psychiatrists have similarities yet are different all the same.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Following the typical psychiatrist roots, Arbutus took an interest in antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications and mood stabilizers, all sorts of medications like that. He took a deep interest in all sorts of medication.

He adjusted himself in the seat as he got ready to explain this grand story...
"Well- Medication was always something fascinating and interesting to me. Medication has many combinations and possibilities, when it comes to reaction... Depending on the person. And with many different types and kinds of medications, reactions and results can always come out differently and it especially depends on the person! Why I choice some of those medications was because of what reaction it might cause to others... Sometimes it's something good to study and learn, so for example, you know what medication might not suit best with the patient. Especially if they're allergic to something in the medication. Sorry- did I blabber on too much?"

"I for a year or almost two, I worked as a the****** in China. I loved being a the******, but I felt that I could've done something more... Then this job opportunity came up when I moved. So, I'm taking my chances here now."

Arbutus has light shoulder length that's an ashy-blonde color, along with two different color eyes, one seeming slightly lighter and darker than each other's. Though, it's hard to see the difference in the eyes and often people might mistake it for him having a blind eye. . . But it's actually just heterochromia with the uniqueness of light blue and green-brown! He stands at the height of 5'7 / 170cm. They have a very pale complexion to them, but even with that paleness, it just brightens up they're eyes! When they walk by, he smells like strawberry cheesecake! And people often know him as the... 'Human strawberry cheesecake' with how much he loves strawberries and cheesecakes. Also, with how he wears a lot of light clothing with strawberries. . . Arbutus is often known for being soft-spoken, sweet, quiet and a bookworm personality. He can be seen as a little ninja with how quiet, he can be.
How does your character act around the hospital?
When he's on duty, he's in control, calm and focused on what he's doing. He makes sure to be gentle and kind with patients, especially ones who need extra care or have seen some traumatic things. He's in the zone when he's working, he's quite in control of his thoughts, feelings and emotions whilst working. He's quite a hard worker too! With how calm they are, they're almost like the one person you always want to see, since their calming and almost like family in a way, with how he speak and treat them.
Off duty, he's more into keeping things neat and all clean. More often or not, others would likely find them reading a book somewhere by himself. Off duty, he still mostly acts the same, but a little more relaxed and at peace with his surroundings or area. Basically, besides that, they seem like a chill and an overall nice person to be around! And even if he's super quiet and focused on a book, doesn't mean he isn't listening...
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Arbutus can be a bit of mix when it comes to that, depending on his mood, the weather (since that can impact others and their moods), and ext. But he functions a lot better on his own, since he's more used to doing things on his own! But they aren't always hesitant about when or if he needs help when it's really needed! And if other's need help, then they're always willing to lead a hand, if it's really needed!
