Level 2
What's your Minecraft Username?: IzzBlaze
What's the title of your suggestion?: School Credit Requirement Amount Change (highschool to college)
What's your suggestion?:
Lower the amount of required credits to grade up from highschool to college to 30.
How will this benefit the server and community?:
With the current amount of credits required to grade up (50) and only 3 classes per day ICLY, it takes quite a while for players to progress. This would slow down character development and discourage players from aiming for college.
Also, High school classes are highly populated in comparison to college classes. Some would say that the college classes may seem empty or non-interactive. Lowering the credit requirement would help even out the population and make college roleplay more engaging.
I also feel that player retention would improve due to lowering the credit amount. Players who feel stuck may get bored when they are aiming for that college path. With a lower credit amount, a smoother path to college would keep them invested and encourage long-term participation.
Lastly, with more students in college, there is more potential for development of their character to create a unique identity. It would open the doors for more creative class types and faculty interactions. This would give players new ways to explore their own characters ambitions beyond a typical high school experience.
This is why I suggest that the credit requirement for grading up from highschool to college should be changed. If I had to suggest a new credit limit, I would say 30. I feel this number is not too large but not too small. It would also make accomplishing a goal for college much easier while maintaining its challenge. You would still have to work hard for it, but not to the point where you are burnt out or stop trying.
