Describe your activity on the server:Describe your activity on the server:
I spend my time on the server, lurking around the map to roleplay with someone or standing far into the abyss looking at them from a distance..
Anywho. . .
I usually go online to FamilyRP with the Baek's, Minori's or any other family I'm a part of. If none are available, I'm mostly spending my time RomanceRP'ing, where time just randomly goes by without me noticing the clock. And yes, I do lose myself a lot when I DetailRP, because I write slowly (and easily-invested). Sometimes I do free photography of people, mostly the AFK's, and share the results with them. At times, I get on SRP to disconnect with my situation in the real world. Therefore, I treat SRP as though it is my safe space, and that's the main reason I have spent a total playtime of: Well, a lot.
My activity varies depending on my IRL schedule since I'm quite busy with work. I'm usually active during night hours and after work. When I'm off work, I’m usually very active in those times alone. I spend most of my free time on SRP. If I were to rate my activity out of 10, I'd say I'm an 8.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I’ve been actively playing on SchoolRP since early 2017-2018. Over the years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in several roleplay styles, including GangRP and CrimeRP. I’ve also spent a significant amount of time within the School Employee Faction, first as a Caretaker and later as Head of Nurse. My time in these roles helped me develop a strong understanding of how the faction operates, both in-character and OOCly. Though I stepped down from the head position after a while, the time I spent leading and supporting others was invaluable.
What is your motivation for applying?
As mentioned above, I have previous experience in the School Employee Faction and genuinely enjoyed my time working within it. I initially resigned because I needed a break due to some OOC responsibilities and real-life work that made balancing everything a bit overwhelming. However, after some time away, I feel refreshed and ready to return. I had kept word to my former faction lead that I’d come back when the time felt right, and now it does. Whether I return to my previous role or explore a new position, I’m excited to contribute once again.
Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist, but open to being accepted as a Doctor.
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Paramedic | Paramedics are first responders who handle medical emergencies outside the hospital. They provide life-saving care on the scene, stabilize patients, and transport them safely to the hospital for further treatment. |
Psychiatrist | Psychiatrists treat mental health issues and support patients through therapy and guidance. They work with other staff to ensure overall patient well-being. |
Doctor | Doctors handle diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and performing complex procedures. They manage emergencies and collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure quality care for the community. |
Clinical Lead | Clinical Leads manage specific departments, mentoring staff, organizing schedules, and ensuring smooth operations. They act as the bridge between their team and higher management, maintaining high standards of care. |
Director | The Director oversees the entire hospital, setting its vision, managing policies, and ensuring collaboration with other factions. They lead the faction’s growth and represent the hospital in major decisions and events. |
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I acknowledge that I will have to attend training if available.

Jun Baek
Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
Male
He/Him
Character’s Age (if accepted):
42
Character’s Academic Background:
“I earned a bachelor’s in writing. Yes, writing, despite having a bit of dyslexia and a stubborn language disorder. Apparently, the universe enjoys irony. I majored in business management with minors in finance and math, just to make sure numbers didn’t rebel the way words sometimes did.”
“Then came medical school, a psychiatry residency, and the usual parade of fellowships and board certifications. By the time I finally had my white coat, I could read a patient, balance a spreadsheet. Write a report at once and somehow survive the process without losing my mind entirely.”
Character’s Nationality:
Korean
Character’s Marital Status:
Jun’s eyes drifted down to his ring finger, the band gleaming innocently under the light. Well. “You stubborn little thing.” He muttered under his breath. “You’re not going anywhere anytime soon, huh?” He let out a low chuckle. Nearly twenty years, and it still hadn’t figured out how time flew. Somehow, that felt both ridiculous and comforting all at the same time.
Character’s Religious Denomination:
Catholic
Character’s Spoken Languages:
Korean, Russian & Japanese
Character Backstory (Optional):
The air in Mapo-gu always carried the scent of ancient stone and impending rain - a fragrance that followed Jun Baek from the moss-covered gardens of his youth into the measured order of adulthood. Born on February 9th, 1984, he arrived as the designated heir to the Jihye branch - a name signifying Wisdom. From his first breath, his life was a choreography of stone courtyards and velvet-lined expectations, where every tutor’s nod marked a step toward a preordained throne. He bore his namesake with a composure that suggested he understood its weight long before he could define it.
Yet, within the rigid geometry of his upbringing, there remained a margin untouched by the ink. In that margin, there was Jinue. They were children of the same district, of a private school where hallways gleamed with polished light. While the world saw the burgeoning steward of Wisdom, Jinue saw only the boy behind the title. Their connection was forged in the soft glow of afternoon hours - a bridge of conversation built so sturdily that neither time nor her family’s eventual departure could dismantle it.
Distance eventually did what distance must - it stretched their bond into a thin, invisible wire. Jun’s world narrowed to the sharp edges of inheritance and the precise rigor of medical study. Yet the wire never snapped; it merely hummed in the background of his life, a silent frequency waiting to be tuned.
Years later, the wire pulled them both to Koriko Cafe. Their reunion was not a cinematic explosion, but a gentle, unfolding recognition - a quiet familiarity in the cadence of a voice and the tilt of a smile. They resumed their dialogue as if they had merely stepped away to catch their breath. With Jinue, the heavy vestments of the Baek name did not merely lighten - they vanished. Their union was neither strategic alliance nor performance for the elders; it was a deliberate, poetic choice made in the sacred spaces between the noise of the world. In her presence, he did not have to be Wisdom - he simply had to be himself.
Life arrived in swift succession: white coats, the soft rhythmic cries of newborns, and the relentless demands of study. By twenty-five, Jun was a father of two and a medical student - balancing the vulnerability of the nursery with the clinical rigor of the ward. Then came the military: a decade defined by the grit of training recruits and the tense silence of field operations. By the time he resigned his commission to move the family to Karakura, Japan, the duality of his spirit had become a precise, elegant rhythm. Around relatives and formal circles, he remained a glacier - cold, commanding, and impeccably serious - a man fluent in authority and legacy. But at home, the ice surrendered. He became a playful father, a relaxed husband - a man finally free to breathe.
Jinue navigated this dual existence with quiet mastery. Counselor by trade and anchor by nature, she kept his spirit upright. Through her, their daughters learned a vital truth: strength is not the absence of warmth, and the Wisdom of their lineage lay not in wealth, but in their capacity for care.
Each year, they return to Mapo-gu. They pause outside Koriko Cafe, exchanging a glance that silently honors their journey. Jun Baek remains an heir - to a branch, a fortune, a history. But more importantly, he is a man who was found by a girl in a hallway and chose, with every breath, to stay found - carried always by the scent of stone and rain that first led him to her.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Jun’s medical background was layered. Formally, he trained as a radiologist, learning to read images and detect patterns in ways few could. The precision, focus, and patience required in radiology shaped how he approached medicine, giving him a meticulous eye and a firm grip.
Despite this, psychiatry became his true focus. Though not his original department, Jun approached it with the same seriousness he had brought to radiology. He understood that mental health was a cornerstone of well-being, and he respected the complexity of the mind. Psychiatry allowed him to connect with patients on a personal level, offering guidance, insight, and support. He saw it as a responsibility rather than just a specialty - a way to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, beyond scans and measurements.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Jun began his career as a nurse, learning the demands of patient care and the importance of observation and responsibility. He later transitioned into radiology, where he refined his ****ytical skills and attention to detail. Though psychiatry was not his official department, his experiences across these roles gave him a deep understanding of patients and the confidence to approach mental health with seriousness and care.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Towering at 6’1”, his lean frame gave him a presence that drew attention without effort. His features reflected his Korean heritage - high cheekbones, pale clear skin, and dark eyes that quietly took in more than most realized. He moved with calm authority, confident and bold, though a hint of humor occasionally slipped through, softening the seriousness he carried in public.
His voice was measured and even, persuasive without raising it, though it could tighten with intensity when the situation demanded. Relatives, colleagues, and strangers alike saw him as reliable and commanding - the kind of man whose presence was felt long before he spoke.
How does your character act around the hospital?
At the hospital, Jun carried himself with calm focus. Every step, every glance, felt deliberate, as if he was always aware of what was happening around him. He could give direction or guidance when needed, but never in a way that felt overbearing - approachable without losing authority. His humor showed only in small moments, enough to let people see that beneath the serious, composed exterior was someone who noticed and understood. Colleagues and patients trusted him, drawn to the quiet confidence and attentiveness he brought into every room.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
He was comfortable in both settings. Alone, he could think things through carefully, planning and ****yzing without distraction. Around others, he could step in as a leader or a collaborator, offering support and guidance while keeping clear boundaries. He spoke when necessary and held back when it wasn’t, keeping his more personal, playful side reserved for his wife and children. Even as heir of his own branch, he had someone whose judgment he trusted completely.
At home, he let his wife decide what was best, following her lead out of respect and love. In public or around relatives, he remained serious, precise, and in control; at home, he relaxed, showing the warmth, humor, and ease that only his family truly saw. His confidence came not from show, but from experience and responsibility, earning respect naturally.
