Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
SchoolRP, obviously by its name, is focused on the school aspect. As much as students are important, who is there to teach them you may ask? Teachers. Teachers are fundamental in a school environment to be able to teach and educate students. They don't primarily teach though! From when you first join SRP the first activity for most is? School! Yes. Teachers can guide newer players through their first school day, helping them with how to go to class and most importantly how to play the game. I see a lot of teachers giving small bits of advice to newer players the entire time I've been playing the game. They are beneficial to push them in the right direction and not break rules. They can also give them meaningful and impactful roleplay, maybe their first if they are too shy to speak to anyone. My overall conclusion for why Teachers are so important to SchoolRP is they are a foundation for everything to new players.

In-Character Section
What's your character's full name?:
Kimiko Kikuchi
What is your character's nationality?:
Japanese
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
Science (Biology)
Describe your character:
Blonde straight hair cascades down her 5’3ft frame, oftentimes tied in a tight ponytail in professional settings. Her dark brown hues mirror an endless void the longer you stare into them, a contrast to her bubbly energy. As her lips tug into a smile you notice her small dimples. Her fashion between her workspace and outside life doesn't change very much; Her workplace outfits consist of that of a normal office worker, a blouse, pencil skirt and often a cardigan. However her outside life is a similar cardigan, paired with a long skirt and a shirt.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Students:
Kimiko has nothing but patience for each and every one of her students, she cares deeply for them and would only like to educate them on the wonders of animals big and small. Kimiko goes by a rule of if you are respectful then she returns the same, this is important especially in class. She believes everyone should be treated the same, she has no favourites. Kimiko retains a calm attitude towards her class, setting an example to how her students should behave.
Co-workers:
Now, co-workers are slightly different, Kimiko brings this bubbly energy into whatever room she bursts into. She’s nothing more than a social butterfly to her peers. Kimiko will do small gestures like bring donuts, coffee to her boss and clean around the faculty lounge. Overall a pleasant joy to her previous co-workers.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Kimiko’s motive for teaching stems from when she was in early college. She studied Animal care for four years. Her mentor inspired her deeply and helped her finish her course. She’s always had a love for animals big and small, soft and slimy. Jokes aside, Kimiko is a huge animal lover and would sacrifice anything for them. The opportunity to teach animal care is a huge thing for her.

Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Kimiko would keep it brief and short, peering over her student's work. She’d tap her pen in a rhythmic pattern against the work sheet, mentioning what went wrong and what they could improve. Is the enclosure too small in width? Easy to fix. Not enough detail? She’d use a transparent sticky note so as to not ruin their work and write which parts they could add more detail on. She’d point out grammatical mistakes but also lack of detail. Animal’s diet? What more could they add about it? Kimiko gave small hints, the best part of learning is researching yourself.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
She first gives them a formal warning, if this behaviour were to continue then they would not participate. If the students continued to behave the way they were it would be a second warning. They’d be monitored closely but not distract her from teaching the students who do want to learn. Third time misbehaving? Big mistake. She’d ask them to leave the room, oocly just kicking them from the class and a loss of privilege to learn if they can not be respectful.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:

Lesson 1-2: Wildlife in school
Where: | Small description: | What this teaches: |
Outside courtyard / rooftop | Students will be brought out of class and taken to an outside environment. From there she’d ask them to look for bugs, rabbits, birds or squirrels ect. This will span over two lessons. Kimiko asks them to imagine their diet, where they would live and about their social groups if they have any. From there they’d make a presentation. In the period after they’d present the project of the animal/bug they found. | This teaches students to be more aware of nature at Karakura high. Taking more care just by studying their surroundings. |
Lesson 3: DIY pet toys
Where: | Small description: | What this teaches: |
Classroom | Kimiko will hand everyone a notebook, asking everyone to describe or draw a design for a pet toy for their chosen pet and what enrichment it brings. She will then mark them on accuracy and the benefit it brings to said pet. | This gives a more creative aspect to learning about animal care, teaching students about a pet's enrichment in a fun way. |
