What are your current roles on the server?:
College

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are so important to SchoolRP because they show different aspects of teaching OOCly and ICly. Without them there'd be no courses for students to develop and without teachers, there'd be a problem with mandatory classes/schedules, which makes it a problem when students are looking for a fight.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Jake M. T. Stark
What is your character's nationality?: German
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Design Technology (Workshop)

Describe your character:
Jake M. T. Stark is a tall, 33 year old man with a teaching goal of showing the students creative sides of the mind and see what they could do with certain problems and challenges. He's a very calm and forgiving person with a strong patience tolerance, he's a good listener and understands people with a very calm voice, hardly raising it.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
For me, my Co-workers and students aren't just regular strangers that I see randomly on a weekly/monthly/yearly basis, no, I see them as people with ideas and creations to share with, for them to tell me these amazing ideas or stories, it's my responsibility to take note and understand them well.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
For my students I see that they're people with a need to grow and learn where their creative side is and how they can use that to their advantage, to learn and strengthen their creativity to see who they are to create and design. All these students are inventors who haven't seen it yet.

For my Co-workers or colleagues, I see them as people I can ask for help or people that I can help sometimes with things, collaborations and sharing thoughts and ideas for classes is a way for me to know them and what they do for others.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
My motivation for teaching is that I think these students have thoughts and creations to make or express and show, writing and drawing is just a small scale of what they can really do with their imagination, I'll give them challenges and goals to set for them and see if this idea I created is good or not for future use.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Jake would bend down to eye level with the student, he would ask quietly "what's the matter? Do you need help with understanding the work? If so, I can gladly help you!" he'd smile softly.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Jake would pause in the middle of talking, he'd turn to [STUDENT A] and would ask "Will you not disturb the other's learning environment and causing problems? There are (x amount of students) in this class who'd like to speak and learn." he'd then turn back around to the blackboard.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Idea 1
Jake would split (x amount of students) into (y amount of groups) for a teamworking competition for a structure that can handle weight up to 200 pounds (136 Kilos) there is no winner, it's just to see if these students can cooperate and learn from each other.
Idea 2

Jake would split the class into pairs if there's an even number, if not, he'd join with the odd one out, the students would work on making some form of toy vehicle together and race them across a track he set up earlier that day for the students.
