What is your name?
My name is Alaya Hitashi Shimura.
What is your age and grade?
I am 20 years old and my grade is collage B.
What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? (250+ words)
I have always wanted to lead a club within the school. I believe leading a club will introduce me to new things and widen my knowledge and during that time I could also make new friends and share my knowledge with others. My mom used to lead a club when she was younger and do this day she still has a sewing club in Tokyo that she manages. She is my main inspiration, idol and the reason I want to lead and create a club, because she showed me that even if times get bad you can still lead, manage and be the best you can be no matter what. She always says "Nothing is impossible you just gotta find a way how to make it possible" and I believe in that. I want to make things possible whatever it is sharing my knowledge with other club members or hosting interactive events where student's can widen their knowledge on first aid and learn practical skills. I have dreamed of having my own club, I just never had the guts before the create one because I thought I wasn't fit to lead a club or that I would fail at it. However after seeing my mom manage her club while being sick made me realize that I am fit for managing a club and that I can do it. Overall I have found the motivation to lead a club and I have a keen interest in the first aid subject as my dream is to become a paramedic in the future.
Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position? (50+ words)
I have always wanted to share my interest for medicine with others and I also want to spark the same interest in others. Also people who already have an interest in this topic can join this club to share their interest with others and their knowledge with other people. Moreover this is something that hasn't been done before as far as I know. The addition of the first aid club could bring more diversity and potentially spark interest in other to create clubs on topics that have never been done before. Overall I think I could bring something new and interesting to the faction of clubs.

First aid club is a educational club where people can share their interest on the topic and educate other club members on it. It brings different people together who have an interest in the topic or want to know more about it. The club's purpose is to widen the knowledge of first aid among students and faculty. Our moto states that "Nothing is impossible you just gotta find a way how to make it possible".

I do not have a student councillor to supervise and assist the club at the moment.
Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?
As of right now there will be no requirements. Anyone can join if they wish to do so.
Provide one school-wide event that your club may host
First aid course. During this event the club will partner with EMS (if possible) to teach the students and faculty about first aid. During the course they will explain how to give first aid to someone who has been injured. After they are done explaining they will demonstrate how to do it, for example they will demonstrate how to wrap bandages or how to use a scarf as make shift bandage and etc. Once that is done the students can try it out themselves as a way to practice the new skill they just learned. At the end of the event the student's and faculty will be put into groups and each group will be given a scenario and a mannequin to act as the injured person and then they have to provide first aid. This is to quage how much the students and faculty have learned from the first aid course.
Provide one flash event that your club may host
Handing out first aid pamphlets. During this event the club members will hand out first aid pamphlets that provide info on some basic first aid and also includes the emergency services number which is 110. Also during this flash event people can fill out first aid themed crosswords and word searchers where the answers are things that are needed to provide first aid.
Provide one club activity that your club might host
Trivia night. During trivia night club members will prepare first aid/medical related questions that they will ask each other to test their knowledge on first aid/medicine. Club members will before do research to ensure that they have the right answers to their questions and to ensure no misinformation is spread.
