I’m on everyday for hours at a time across multiple different accounts, Like I’ve listed below my accounts are 3Eco, Ecocide, and 3CO_. Currently I'm able to run multiple accounts so no account sees no activity, Ecocide my KPD account could be considered my less active account but that's because most of the work I do extends into being on discord and so on, But I still do meet quota and so on. In general I'm normally on from 1-3pm to 5am EST. .crazy sleep schedule currently.
On 3Eco I play Wayne Xin, who's currently in the team's faction as a High School volleyball member. Not much happens with the team's faction so it's not a really demanding role as it used to be. On Ecocide I play Ronan Mercer who is the current Captain in KPD, My work in the KPD stems more into discord as a higher up rather than actually being online 24/7 so I mostly only log on for broadcasts or to do quota. On 3CO_ I play Teo von Stein mostly and he is currently a college student who is involved in thug activity! (gasp). Across all my accounts I have some sort of roleplay and if I'm not roleplaying I'm simply running around looking for stuff to do.

What shop are you applying for?:
Shinboshi Sakaya Old shop location under complex J/Close to town hall. With the new shopping district out having getting a shop there would also be ideal for partnership events, but I'm looking for space to keep the build idea I currently have going on. I'm hoping to run a gift and accessory shop from here under a ‘gamer/nerd’ fantasy theme with the front area being open access for people to roleplay in/use the board games I plan to sell.

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I’ve been on SRP for around roughly 8 years? I’ve done a lot of what the server has to offer but have mainly stuck to Teams and KPD, My longest role being KPD with a wopping five years. It's safe to say I'm very dedicated to the roles I'm put into especially if I'm having fun with it. I’m really looking to explore a new role. That still leaves the question open “well why shopkeeper” The shop faction is one of the few factions I am able to experience while still being able to be a part of KPD, but also I’ve missed running a business on SRP. Older players will remember when towers were around, I had turned mine into a giant apartment building where players had around 30x29 of space to freely decorate to their heart's content and within that apartment building was also a ‘build company’ ran by Shadonky where people who couldn’t build could get their place built by a professional builder. Working on prices, deals, rent, taxes and seeing the reward after each month was always really cool to me. I think many older players can agree I had the most actively used tower on the server, both by people who lived there and by people who didn’t since the tower also had attractions for people to come and interact with. Arcade, Gym, Pool, Study area. Most of the first floor of my tower was dedicated to players for them to use. Applying for a shop and hosting events alongside friends who already own shops just sounds really fun. Recently I got to host an event for the team's faction that grew to be a flash event on the server. It was honestly really stressful but at times really fun and overall the ending was super satisfying. I know shops are able to host events for their shops so that's another thing I think will help bring the spark back into SRP for me.
I also plan to run this shop with my girlfriend Shadonky, so again just another fun thing for us to do together and be excited over. Shadonk has owned a shop before in the past but it was a restaurant, either way she has experienced and so do I. . somewhat!
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
This shop is inspired by in character lore, from both me and shadonks characters who are married. Running this type of shop is something April has dreamed of doing and it revolves around her interests, And a bit of Marcus’ interests in games.
SO I plan to run a gamer/nerd themed Gift and Accessory store. Because ‘Gamer/Nerd theme’ is very broad for advertisements I plan to focus it down to theme the shop around it being a medieval guild like ones you’d see in games!
I want to host a lot of scavenger hunt type events as well to lean into the fantasy theme the shop has. “The guild is handing out quests” and handout riddles for people to solve, each riddle leading them to a different shop to help out other shopkeepers who might not be making as much money as others or are just struggling in general. Check the event category for more information!
There are similar shops to this one like Yona Yona for example but I plan to keep this on theme and not go into Yona Yona’s cosplay theme. Me and Shadonks shop is meant to be a collector-type shop full of nerd-related items like the following ones below. Pixel n’ Potions is made to be an open shop for players to use even if the shop is not actually open for buying items, The doors stay open 24/7 to allow players to use the attractions inside for their roleplay needs, Whether that be sitting down to roleplay reading one of the many comic books, Roleplaying with a partner, or maybe roleplaying one of the many board games that’ll be laid out for the public to use.

This is a shop ICLY ran by Me and Shadonks characters Marcus and April, Two characters that met in Karakura college back around 2020. There are no real couples that run a shop together icly so I wanted to rope it into the aesthetic of the shop and add more lore to it all.
April is a writer who loves fantasy while Marcus is a man who loves business. It had always been a silly idea of April’s to run a shop so Marcus decided to make that a reality for her. Allowing her to sell whatever she wanted and to create a ‘nerd corner’ for fantasy lovers like her while he focused on the boring stressful business side of it.
How many employees do you plan to have?:
I plan to have 20 workers at max. We plan to have multiple positions for players to work to obtain, Trial Cashier, Cashier, Manager, Co owner, Owner
Trial Cashier/Vendor - All workers will start at this position, in this position Trial employee’s will learn how to use the panel and will get the chance to prove their activity to the owners. Trial Cashier’s will make 15% of what they sell
Cashier/Merchant - This being the main positioning most players will shoot for, Once you do reach this position you’ll only really be expected to keep up activity and attend some openings here and there. Cashier’s will make 20% of what they sell.
Manager/Head Merchant - For cashiers that wish to take a more leadership type role in the shop and are trusted they will receive the manager role! Managers being the bigger position they are they will make 30% of what they sell
Co Owner/Guild Advisor - More of a lore role only set to be Marcus’ wife April since it's a married couple running the store. While the Co-Owner won’t really be working if they were to, they would be taking home 40% of what they sell, but this might also be used to help restock considering their position.
Owner/Guild Master - Just me! ‘Guild master role’ just to fit the whole theme, but obviously my only responsibility is restock and taxes. .
These roles will probably be renamed to fit the guild/RPG theme of the shop but we aren’t 100% on that idea, but these are the names they could have.

The goal of this event would be to help shops like restaurants get more money, and the goal would be to do this sorta event once or twice a month

Each shop has a different custom that completes a set and people have to take a picture with the complete set to get a free item. Stock would be limited so as soon as the free items are gone then the event is over! But how exactly would this be DND? Backstory:
Where to even begin with Marcus? Born and raised in LA, California. Life for Marcus growing up was full of parties, with his looks he was always grabbing people's attention left and right and his height was just a helping factor for that. Life in LA grew dull quickly, or maybe Marcus’ interests went elsewhere but eventually the man wished to travel outside of America and that he did. Marcus joined a student exchange program at 15 and jumped at the opportunity to live in Seoul, Korea. He moved in with an online friend of his named Eli, Marcus had known Eli for years so it wasn’t completely awkward living with him but the culture shock was surely a lot for him. His host family worked hard to help him learn Korean which they did well at, but he couldn't understand everything of course! so they took the extra step and enrolled him into a Korean language class. The class was surprisingly easy to understand but that was due to him hearing Korean and learning little things from Eli over the years of their friendship. It being easier to understand tho didn’t stop the teacher from being strict with Marcus, and with the kind of party animal he was that level of discipline was needed. With the help of his teacher, friends and host family he was able to master the language by 17 and finished his language class with a language certificate proving he knows and can speak Korean. This was the first thing he had put so much of his time into and completing it brought a level of joy he hadn’t felt before, it only fueled that desire for adventure the young man always had. After staying for 3 years in Korea and going to school there at 18 Marcus decided to move to Karakura Japan, which he stayed in until he was 22. Life in Karakura was surely hectic. Gangs roaming the streets and schooling being not all that great. It was definitely different from the 3 years he spent in Korea but nonetheless the adventure was welcomed. In Karakura Marcus fell back into the party life he had in LA, his days were filled with drinking and girls. He was also Karakura’s first giant standing at a solid 7’5. Nothing notable happened during his highschool years in Karakura He dated a girl, went to dances, spent his time relaxing, but when he turned 19 he was able to get into his first REAL relationship with Eli’s little sister (Ex host family), AKA A long time friend of Marcus who he met in Korea and who he had a crush on for forever. Their relationship lasted for a few months, during these few months Marcus joined the college basketball team and then eventually the college football team as a goalie, AND he even became a college frat member. He stayed with his girlfriend for all of that time and development until that girlfriend of his had left Karakura and went back to Korea. They kept a long distance relationship for a while during this time Marcus had become someone who just sat in his room playing games all day, His life had turned into School, Games, Practice, Repeat. It was boring and he hated it but it was all he had. Being on the football team back then was so much pressure. Being the first group to replace the well known Billy Grove and his goons was stressful. The cheer team wasn’t all that friendly with the new team yet and losing one of his closest friends had isolated him, but eventually Marcus had to end it, he couldn’t live like this forever and he knew that. So he broke up with his girlfriend to lighten the weight. The pain of not having someone to be physically with and always being on his phone longing for more was just something he couldn't do.
Maybe it was fate for him to break up with that ex, because around this time he had made a friend that he had no idea would be his future wife.
Marcus had met April K. Roselie, The College Track Captain. When they had first met Marcus was still dating his ex, but that fact didn’t matter because these two were just friends. Marcus and April had a special relationship that Marcus could never put into words exactly but he knew he was always looking for her in every crowd, he knew that he loved every late-night conversation they had in his frat room. Every minute he was awake he spent with April, either talking to her about life and trauma or making fun of each other's looks. Falling for April was like a leaf being taken by a gentle breeze, Marcus never knew loving a girl outside of her looks until he met April. Truly, he fell for her soul before he fell for her looks. He considers April his first REAL relationship because he knows he fell for April the proper way.
Around the time Marcus had met April was also around the time he had become College Football Captain and College Frat President. Two Major roles that put the football goalie into a light he had started to grow unfamiliar with. He had to find his footing again but with April by his side and his teammates it all quickly became possible. College Football Captain Marcus Rogers was a name that stained Karakura for years, He ran an undefeated college football team. He went through trauma after trauma, he was closely watched and taken care of by BMDs which he deep down saw as family. He experienced close friends die left and right due to how Karakura is. Life could be awful at times but at least he wasn’t alone.
When life was at its brightest is when shadows would creep their way in, Marcus and April had officially been together for 4 years so it wasn’t surprising that marriage had popped up into Marcus’ mind plenty of times. During the week he was going to propose, April had gotten into a bad accident. .that accident being the Karakura Frat & Sorority Exploding. Minutes turned into hours and the only text he had from april was “I love you too”, she was in the building when it exploded and held back by KPD he wasn't allowed inside to go look for her in the burning crumbling building. But he was desperate. Eventually everyone was out but he still had no idea where his lover was. He sprinted to the hospital, this must have been the fastest he's ever ran but when he arrived he begged staff to tell him if April was there which thankfully she was. Marcus bursted into her shared hospital room, finding the love of his life in almost a full body cast. She was so severely injured that it was amazing she hadn't died. On this day Marcus was scared to his very core. On this day he almost lost the most important thing to him, so he wasted no time. Despite where they were he took the ring he had out of his back pocket and proposed to her right there in the hospital room. He told April just how much he loved her, just how important she was to him and how his worst fear was spending his life without her. April cried and accepted his proposal, the two kissed and that was that. Once April was healed enough to go home Marcus spent 24/7 treating her, and once she was well enough to move they moved out of Karakura. Marcus was lucky enough to fall upon a fortune of money, and also lucky enough to learn business from one of the most influential people in Karakura. He bought land in America and built April her dream house (with cows included, her favorite animal). This house was going to be the future home for their family. Which quickly came. During December 25 2022 April announced she was pregnant as a Christmas gift to Marcus. The giant of a man hadn’t remembered the last time he cried but when he saw that pregnancy test in that box he was putty in April’s hands, thanking her over and over again for giving him something he had wanted with her for so long. During August 2023 the twins were born, Little Adalyn Mavis Rogers and Darian Nicholei Rogers. Being new parents was hard for Marcus, he was always scared of hurting his kids because of how small they were compared to him but he loved every second with them. Truly the proudest moment of his life up until now. Nothing means more to Marcus than his family. The Rogers family spent a few years in America, but when the twins became 2 Marcus and April decided to move back to Karakura to open the shop of April's dreams, Pixels ‘N Potions. This was a shop full of April’s hobbies, and it was another dream Marcus promised to make come true for her.

Backstory:
Born on January 23rd, 2001, April Roselie was gifted to her single mother, Evalyn. As for her father, she never knew the man, not even his name. Even so, April never let that bother her! All the love she had went straight to her mother who.. Did a very questionable job at raising her. It was expected, truly, that a single mother living in a one bedroom apartment located in Queens, New York, would struggle in raising a child whilst also keeping up with making rent that month. April’s mother suffered a lot of mental and emotional strain, which would send her into episodes of depression. Leaving April alone a lot of the time, even as a child as young as 9. As soon as April was old enough, she was working jobs left and right. If she wasn’t in school? It was safe to assume she was at work. Waitressing in restaurants, being a cashier at almost every corner store into late hours of the night when an essay was due on her teachers desk at 8am sharp. This woman never knew what a breath of fresh air was.
One night, during one of her late shifts as a cashier at one of the many corner stores mentioned previously. April was lucky enough to have met someone that worked within a modelling agency, and just her luck, she was offered a job! In the agent’s words, she was ‘Far too pretty to be a cashier!’. Whatever that means.. Unfortunately, taking on this offer, April would have to move to Japan. Tokyo, Japan, to be exact. Leaving her mother alone in New York was not easy to do, but this was good and easy money. April couldn’t find it in her to pass it up, not when they needed it so desperately. The young woman took a lot of pride in her job, never imagining she would be put into such a position. That was, until she learned the ends and outs of such a demanding occupation. Similarly to her mother, April was no stranger to bad mental health. It didn’t take long before her passion had drained from the career she was making for herself.
When April was little, her school had done a small project for having penpals.The one she had gotten, was a girl by the name of Mavis Saiky who lived in Karakura, Japan. Even after the project was long over with, April and Mavis kept in touch by sending letters back and forth throughout the years of their youth. After April had quit her modelling job, Mavis and her family offered a place for April to stay during her time in Japan. It was stereotypical that the education system was far better than anything you could find in the states. She believed that if she were to remain here, she could work even harder towards a career that she could love endlessly. Something that could give her a brighter future than the one she was blinded by in darkness. April’s life within Karakura was that of a rollercoaster, that much is certain. Graduating from highschool and later attending college here, she joined the track team as well! It didn’t take her long to even go as far as becoming the captain of the team she grew to know and love.
Just like every teenager ever, April had gone through her fair shares of romance. All in which.. Ended horribly, leaving nothing but sorrow and regret carved into her bones. It was something she kept distance from, always. That was, until she met a man by the name of Marcus Rogers. He was a member of the college football team at their school. April always found him to be quite odd, always locking himself away in his room at the frat he was a part of. Now you may be wondering, why was April hanging out at the fraternity? Well, that was due to Mavis dating the current football captain and president of the fraternity. So.. April knew a little bit of everyone at the time. Seeing as her time with Mavis was shortened due to the Saiky’s time being split between not only her friends and boyfriend, but her education as well. April found herself spending a lot of - if not all of her time with Rogers. It was scary to her, frightened to put her trust into someone when she soon learned that her heart longed for something more than a friendship with him. The two had gone through both good and bad together, side by side. So for once, she gave herself a break and handed her heart to him. She would soon realize that the choice she made would have been the best one she made in her entire life. Unfortunately, the happiness that engulfed their relationship would be tainted with grief and confliction.
A main reason behind a lot of the things that April pursued was for her mother. She may have been absent in April’s life emotionally and oftentimes physically, but all April wanted to do was make her mother proud and offer her a life free of worry and struggle. A few months into her relationship with Marcus, April had vanished for a short period of time. A week or two. Upon arriving back into Karakura, she had told Rogers that her mother had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Devastated, it was difficult for April to really do anything. Her want to do anything was nowhere to be found, no matter how hard Marcus tried to support her. Loss is something that no one is ever prepared for, it’s something that no one knows what to do with other than learning to live with it until it somehow gets ‘easier’. So, that is exactly what April did. She pushed forward and chose to appreciate the things she still had in life, like her friends, found family and her boyfriend.
Time passed on and things did eventually get easier for the New Yorker. During her time in Karakura, she went through quite a lot. Either it be losing friends, gaining them, moving in with her boyfriend, or joining the sorority! She was living her life the way she wanted to, with the people she wanted to. All was well, and this continued for a few years until an unfortunate tragedy had occurred. However, some might see it as a blessing in disguise. Not April, though.. and certainly not Marcus. On a day just like every other, a sudden explosion that could be heard for miles had taken place at Karakura’s frat and sorority. As this happened, April had been spending time in the living room with a few of her friends. Before she knew it, her ears were ringing and it went black. Faintly, in the distance, sirens could be heard and screams of horror mixed with screams reaching for loved ones echoed through the crumbling rubble that was once her home. In the blink of an eye, the girl was wincing to the bright lights of a hospital ceiling. Her body felt as though it was on fire. Unsure as to why, her head lifted and she found herself to be in what looked to be a full body cast. Never in a million years was this something she would have predicted. Luckily, she wasn’t alone in the insufferable pain she was experiencing, because Marcus was sat by her side throughout it all. Even before had realized where she was or what had happened. She was just grateful to be there, breathing, and grateful that Marcus was not in the house when it all happened. Just as April never imagined being in this situation, she never imagined that this was how her boyfriend of around 4 years would pop THE question. Without hesitation, she accepted with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. The pain that she was suffering from was the least of her worries.
The happy couple wasted no time in moving towards their future. Marcus nursed the woman back to health and made haste to form the future they both longed for. Purchasing land in the states, Marcus not only got her a house, but he also got her favorite animals in the entire world. COWS. April is a simple woman who loves Marcus, food, and cows. That’s all it takes, really.. As the two settled into their new home, it didn’t take long for their dreams to come true. More So than they already had. April chose to surprise Marcus with not one but TWO babies. They were going to be parents to a set of twins! It was a long pregnancy with many tears and laughter - and tears OF laughter before a random day in August 2023. The two were finally given their miracles, Adalyn Mavis Rogers and Darian Nicholei Rogers. April was always afraid of having children, of having a family.. but Marcus flipped her world upside down and relit the fire within her hopes and dreams. He proved her wrong in the fact that she could be and IS an amazing, loving mother. Forever, would she be grateful to not only him, but his family as well for accepting her as one of their own. Now? Marcus is back on the grind of getting her everything her heart could and does dream of. This time around, it is in the shape of a shop that sells every object of every nerd's dream. Why? Backstory:
Where to even begin with Marcus? Born and raised in LA, California. Life for Marcus growing up was full of parties, with his looks he was always grabbing people's attention left and right and his height was just a helping factor for that. Life in LA grew dull quickly, or maybe Marcus’ interests went elsewhere but eventually the man wished to travel outside of America and that he did. Marcus joined a student exchange program at 15 and jumped at the opportunity to live in Seoul, Korea. He moved in with an online friend of his named Eli, Marcus had known Eli for years so it wasn’t completely awkward living with him but the culture shock was surely a lot for him. His host family worked hard to help him learn Korean which they did well at, but he couldn't understand everything of course! so they took the extra step and enrolled him into a Korean language class. The class was surprisingly easy to understand but that was due to him hearing Korean and learning little things from Eli over the years of their friendship. It being easier to understand tho didn’t stop the teacher from being strict with Marcus, and with the kind of party animal he was that level of discipline was needed. With the help of his teacher, friends and host family he was able to master the language by 17 and finished his language class with a language certificate proving he knows and can speak Korean. This was the first thing he had put so much of his time into and completing it brought a level of joy he hadn’t felt before, it only fueled that desire for adventure the young man always had. After staying for 3 years in Korea and going to school there at 18 Marcus decided to move to Karakura Japan, which he stayed in until he was 22. Life in Karakura was surely hectic. Gangs roaming the streets and schooling being not all that great. It was definitely different from the 3 years he spent in Korea but nonetheless the adventure was welcomed. In Karakura Marcus fell back into the party life he had in LA, his days were filled with drinking and girls. He was also Karakura’s first giant standing at a solid 7’5. Nothing notable happened during his highschool years in Karakura He dated a girl, went to dances, spent his time relaxing, but when he turned 19 he was able to get into his first REAL relationship with Eli’s little sister (Ex host family), AKA A long time friend of Marcus who he met in Korea and who he had a crush on for forever. Their relationship lasted for a few months, during these few months Marcus joined the college basketball team and then eventually the college football team as a goalie, AND he even became a college frat member. He stayed with his girlfriend for all of that time and development until that girlfriend of his had left Karakura and went back to Korea. They kept a long distance relationship for a while during this time Marcus had become someone who just sat in his room playing games all day, His life had turned into School, Games, Practice, Repeat. It was boring and he hated it but it was all he had. Being on the football team back then was so much pressure. Being the first group to replace the well known Billy Grove and his goons was stressful. The cheer team wasn’t all that friendly with the new team yet and losing one of his closest friends had isolated him, but eventually Marcus had to end it, he couldn’t live like this forever and he knew that. So he broke up with his girlfriend to lighten the weight. The pain of not having someone to be physically with and always being on his phone longing for more was just something he couldn't do.
Maybe it was fate for him to break up with that ex, because around this time he had made a friend that he had no idea would be his future wife.
Marcus had met April K. Roselie, The College Track Captain. When they had first met Marcus was still dating his ex, but that fact didn’t matter because these two were just friends. Marcus and April had a special relationship that Marcus could never put into words exactly but he knew he was always looking for her in every crowd, he knew that he loved every late-night conversation they had in his frat room. Every minute he was awake he spent with April, either talking to her about life and trauma or making fun of each other's looks. Falling for April was like a leaf being taken by a gentle breeze, Marcus never knew loving a girl outside of her looks until he met April. Truly, he fell for her soul before he fell for her looks. He considers April his first REAL relationship because he knows he fell for April the proper way.
Around the time Marcus had met April was also around the time he had become College Football Captain and College Frat President. Two Major roles that put the football goalie into a light he had started to grow unfamiliar with. He had to find his footing again but with April by his side and his teammates it all quickly became possible. College Football Captain Marcus Rogers was a name that stained Karakura for years, He ran an undefeated college football team. He went through trauma after trauma, he was closely watched and taken care of by BMDs which he deep down saw as family. He experienced close friends die left and right due to how Karakura is. Life could be awful at times but at least he wasn’t alone.
When life was at its brightest is when shadows would creep their way in, Marcus and April had officially been together for 4 years so it wasn’t surprising that marriage had popped up into Marcus’ mind plenty of times. During the week he was going to propose, April had gotten into a bad accident. .that accident being the Karakura Frat & Sorority Exploding. Minutes turned into hours and the only text he had from april was “I love you too”, she was in the building when it exploded and held back by KPD he wasn't allowed inside to go look for her in the burning crumbling building. But he was desperate. Eventually everyone was out but he still had no idea where his lover was. He sprinted to the hospital, this must have been the fastest he's ever ran but when he arrived he begged staff to tell him if April was there which thankfully she was. Marcus bursted into her shared hospital room, finding the love of his life in almost a full body cast. She was so severely injured that it was amazing she hadn't died. On this day Marcus was scared to his very core. On this day he almost lost the most important thing to him, so he wasted no time. Despite where they were he took the ring he had out of his back pocket and proposed to her right there in the hospital room. He told April just how much he loved her, just how important she was to him and how his worst fear was spending his life without her. April cried and accepted his proposal, the two kissed and that was that. Once April was healed enough to go home Marcus spent 24/7 treating her, and once she was well enough to move they moved out of Karakura. Marcus was lucky enough to fall upon a fortune of money, and also lucky enough to learn business from one of the most influential people in Karakura. He bought land in America and built April her dream house (with cows included, her favorite animal). This house was going to be the future home for their family. Which quickly came. During December 25 2022 April announced she was pregnant as a Christmas gift to Marcus. The giant of a man hadn’t remembered the last time he cried but when he saw that pregnancy test in that box he was putty in April’s hands, thanking her over and over again for giving him something he had wanted with her for so long. During August 2023 the twins were born, Little Adalyn Mavis Rogers and Darian Nicholei Rogers. Being new parents was hard for Marcus, he was always scared of hurting his kids because of how small they were compared to him but he loved every second with them. Truly the proudest moment of his life up until now. Nothing means more to Marcus than his family. The Rogers family spent a few years in America, but when the twins became 2 Marcus and April decided to move back to Karakura to open the shop of April's dreams, Pixels ‘N Potions. This was a shop full of April’s hobbies, and it was another dream Marcus promised to make come true for her.
OOC: There are some details in his lore that are brushed over because of rule changes on srp, BUT Marcus is a very very long time character of mine :3. I also apologize if it's poorly written or if there's grammar mistakes. I'm trying to write what I remember happening to him but this was all years ago.

Backstory:
Born on January 23rd, 2001, April Roselie was gifted to her single mother, Evalyn. As for her father, she never knew the man, not even his name. Even so, April never let that bother her! All the love she had went straight to her mother who.. Did a very questionable job at raising her. It was expected, truly, that a single mother living in a one bedroom apartment located in Queens, New York, would struggle in raising a child whilst also keeping up with making rent that month. April’s mother suffered a lot of mental and emotional strain, which would send her into episodes of depression. Leaving April alone a lot of the time, even as a child as young as 9. As soon as April was old enough, she was working jobs left and right. If she wasn’t in school? It was safe to assume she was at work. Waitressing in restaurants, being a cashier at almost every corner store into late hours of the night when an essay was due on her teachers desk at 8am sharp. This woman never knew what a breath of fresh air was.
One night, during one of her late shifts as a cashier at one of the many corner stores mentioned previously. April was lucky enough to have met someone that worked within a modelling agency, and just her luck, she was offered a job! In the agent’s words, she was ‘Far too pretty to be a cashier!’. Whatever that means.. Unfortunately, taking on this offer, April would have to move to Japan. Tokyo, Japan, to be exact. Leaving her mother alone in New York was not easy to do, but this was good and easy money. April couldn’t find it in her to pass it up, not when they needed it so desperately. The young woman took a lot of pride in her job, never imagining she would be put into such a position. That was, until she learned the ends and outs of such a demanding occupation. Similarly to her mother, April was no stranger to bad mental health. It didn’t take long before her passion had drained from the career she was making for herself.
When April was little, her school had done a small project for having penpals.The one she had gotten, was a girl by the name of Mavis Saiky who lived in Karakura, Japan. Even after the project was long over with, April and Mavis kept in touch by sending letters back and forth throughout the years of their youth. After April had quit her modelling job, Mavis and her family offered a place for April to stay during her time in Japan. It was stereotypical that the education system was far better than anything you could find in the states. She believed that if she were to remain here, she could work even harder towards a career that she could love endlessly. Something that could give her a brighter future than the one she was blinded by in darkness. April’s life within Karakura was that of a rollercoaster, that much is certain. Graduating from highschool and later attending college here, she joined the track team as well! It didn’t take her long to even go as far as becoming the captain of the team she grew to know and love.
Just like every teenager ever, April had gone through her fair shares of romance. All in which.. Ended horribly, leaving nothing but sorrow and regret carved into her bones. It was something she kept distance from, always. That was, until she met a man by the name of Marcus Rogers. He was a member of the college football team at their school. April always found him to be quite odd, always locking himself away in his room at the frat he was a part of. Now you may be wondering, why was April hanging out at the fraternity? Well, that was due to Mavis dating the current football captain and president of the fraternity. So.. April knew a little bit of everyone at the time. Seeing as her time with Mavis was shortened due to the Saiky’s time being split between not only her friends and boyfriend, but her education as well. April found herself spending a lot of - if not all of her time with Rogers. It was scary to her, frightened to put her trust into someone when she soon learned that her heart longed for something more than a friendship with him. The two had gone through both good and bad together, side by side. So for once, she gave herself a break and handed her heart to him. She would soon realize that the choice she made would have been the best one she made in her entire life. Unfortunately, the happiness that engulfed their relationship would be tainted with grief and confliction.
A main reason behind a lot of the things that April pursued was for her mother. She may have been absent in April’s life emotionally and oftentimes physically, but all April wanted to do was make her mother proud and offer her a life free of worry and struggle. A few months into her relationship with Marcus, April had vanished for a short period of time. A week or two. Upon arriving back into Karakura, she had told Rogers that her mother had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Devastated, it was difficult for April to really do anything. Her want to do anything was nowhere to be found, no matter how hard Marcus tried to support her. Loss is something that no one is ever prepared for, it’s something that no one knows what to do with other than learning to live with it until it somehow gets ‘easier’. So, that is exactly what April did. She pushed forward and chose to appreciate the things she still had in life, like her friends, found family and her boyfriend.
Time passed on and things did eventually get easier for the New Yorker. During her time in Karakura, she went through quite a lot. Either it be losing friends, gaining them, moving in with her boyfriend, or joining the sorority! She was living her life the way she wanted to, with the people she wanted to. All was well, and this continued for a few years until an unfortunate tragedy had occurred. However, some might see it as a blessing in disguise. Not April, though.. and certainly not Marcus. On a day just like every other, a sudden explosion that could be heard for miles had taken place at Karakura’s frat and sorority. As this happened, April had been spending time in the living room with a few of her friends. Before she knew it, her ears were ringing and it went black. Faintly, in the distance, sirens could be heard and screams of horror mixed with screams reaching for loved ones echoed through the crumbling rubble that was once her home. In the blink of an eye, the girl was wincing to the bright lights of a hospital ceiling. Her body felt as though it was on fire. Unsure as to why, her head lifted and she found herself to be in what looked to be a full body cast. Never in a million years was this something she would have predicted. Luckily, she wasn’t alone in the insufferable pain she was experiencing, because Marcus was sat by her side throughout it all. Even before had realized where she was or what had happened. She was just grateful to be there, breathing, and grateful that Marcus was not in the house when it all happened. Just as April never imagined being in this situation, she never imagined that this was how her boyfriend of around 4 years would pop THE question. Without hesitation, she accepted with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. The pain that she was suffering from was the least of her worries.
The happy couple wasted no time in moving towards their future. Marcus nursed the woman back to health and made haste to form the future they both longed for. Purchasing land in the states, Marcus not only got her a house, but he also got her favorite animals in the entire world. COWS. April is a simple woman who loves Marcus, food, and cows. That’s all it takes, really.. As the two settled into their new home, it didn’t take long for their dreams to come true. More So than they already had. April chose to surprise Marcus with not one but TWO babies. They were going to be parents to a set of twins! It was a long pregnancy with many tears and laughter - and tears OF laughter before a random day in August 2023. The two were finally given their miracles, Adalyn Mavis Rogers and Darian Nicholei Rogers. April was always afraid of having children, of having a family.. but Marcus flipped her world upside down and relit the fire within her hopes and dreams. He proved her wrong in the fact that she could be and IS an amazing, loving mother. Forever, would she be grateful to not only him, but his family as well for accepting her as one of their own. Now? Marcus is back on the grind of getting her everything her heart could and does dream of. This time around, it is in the shape of a shop that sells every object of every nerd's dream. Why? You may ask..? It’s because one of April’s top biggest secrets is that SHE. . . . is a nerd.
