APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

I am applying for the judge role.

What is your motivation for applying?:

My main motivation for applying into the government faction is the format of the community. I enjoy being a part of a large team where everyone has an important role that flows together perfectly when all put in their hard work and effort. Along with how welcoming everyone seems, it has given me a strong sense of inspiration to join an important faction.

One of my other motivations is for my character lore, as she is seen as a tomboy who wasn’t always taken seriously, and is now a part of a community where she would be taken with more respect as she gives out despite what she has faced. This type of storyline really does interest me and I believe this faction specifically could really help bring her character out more than it already has.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:

Yes, I have a full understanding of the Karakura’s laws and Constitutional rights.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:

My goals for being in this government faction is to not only develop a strong storyline for my character, but to bring an interesting experience within the community. For OOCLY purposes, I want to be able to form more connections and bring out more roleplay scenarios with a fun and entertaining involvement, while also having a strong sense of being serious and strict in requirement situations.

For ICLY purposes, again, to just further develop my character's storyline but to also be able to have my character, Karin, gain a strong feeling of how serious she can be. To show to others that she can be serious when needed, and to put criminals who have done wrongs in this city is another motivation she has gained over the years.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

The difference in roles of the government faction include;

Being a judge; you are acquired to attend trials, assisting the officers with issuing warrants, reviewing cases within different scenarios, helping engaged couples with officiating their marriages, file any sorts of restraining orders, casual desk work and to finally approve adoption paperwork.

As a lawyer; it is a requirement to attend trials you are assigned to, doing attorney calls, having meetings with clients, helping citizens with filing restraining orders, building client lists and to also do casual desk work.

When being a governor; they help out in the front desk with handing out IDs, officiating engaged couples with their marriages, attending the trails they are assigned to, walking into the streets of Karakura and surveying the public, assisting growing families with approving adoption paperwork, and to finally perform all shop inspections.

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:

I fully acknowledge and accept that I will be subjected to removal at any given time.

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:

Yes, I have read and agreed to follow all government faction rules.

IN-CHARACTER SECTION

Full name:

While sitting in a proper posture, she held a gaze with the individual before her, having her leg crossed over the other. Karin placed both hands on her lap as she adjusted herself strictly, keeping a serious but casual demeanor.

“My full name is María de la ‘Karin’ Tudela y Barreda Alvarado-Sánchez. To keep things short, it's just Karin Tudela.”

Preferred title:

Mr., Mrs., etc.

Glancing around her surroundings with the gesture of her eyes only, they followed to the sound of the individual’s question. Giving a direct contact, Karin quietly cleared her throat while answering with a short and simple answer.

“Just Miss is fine, properly is Miss. Tudela though.”

Current age:

While keeping her direct contact with the individual in front of her, they squinted at their question. Understanding how it's taboo in her culture for their question, she pushed all traditions aside while answering with a low tone. It’s been a long time since she's been asked this specific question..

“I am currently twenty-five years old.”

Date of birth:

Although the question isn’t as taboo with the last one, Karin couldn’t hold back her stern gaze at the individual, instead she straightens her posture. Keeping her shoulders and back lined in a strict position, she answered again with the same low tone.

“I was born on April twentieth, Nineteen Ninety-six.”

Gender:

Having her strict posture aligned in an almost perfect position, Karin switched her hanging leg position, having the other hang over properly. Tapping her finger on her lap rather casually but slowly, she gave a nod while answering the question.

“I consider myself as a young adult female.”

Academic Degree:

Lowly humming as she waited for the next question, she casually tilted her head to her shoulder. Having random thoughts passed through her mind as she looked back at the individual asking her a question. Forming her posture to be strict again, she answered with directness.

“Since I moved to Japan at ten years old, I was originally put into an all girls catholic school, after getting high enough grades I completed my secondary education diploma. Afterwards, my adoptive grandmother helped me with attending a university, she once attended, for my bachelor's degree. Although I wasn’t offered any internships until my last year, I was only able to attend a judicial internship after earning my bachelor degree. During that time, I was shadowing my grandmother's close friend, where I was heavily exposed to the court environment. After attending for a few months, I finally signed up for law school, once I was accepted I was working in a judicial clerkship for a couple-ish years. Since I had more experience and education as the years went on, I was able to earn my J.D. Degree.”

Major(s):

After allowing the individual to respond with their next question, she switched her hanging leg again. Being as strict as ever, Karin held a stern gaze with them. Adjusting herself around in her seat as she properly answered their question.

“I achieved my single major in constitutional law during my time as a law school student.”

Minor(s):

Keeping her posture strict, and still, Karin simply nodded while responding with a direct answer. Having her hands placed properly on her lap, she adjusted her seating position once more.

“I gained my only minor in psychology while I was achieving my bachelors degree.”

Work experience:

Forming a semi-smile at the question, thinking back to all of her valuable experiences during her educational years, Karin responded with a direct and stern tone. As her semi-smile faded away, her shoulders were less tense than before.

“During my time as a law school student, when I was working as a clerkships, I was the legal assistant for my adoptive grandmother's close friend, Daisuke, who was a judge in Sapporo. Where I communicated with counsel about various cases within management and procedural requirements, I was also doing forms of proofreading and cite-checking all of the orders my adoptive grandmother's close friend requested. During then, I was the main courtroom assistant that was requested each time from Daisuke. Along with that, I also was heavily involved with being responsible for completing administrative tasks. Where I kept a strict maintenance schedule with the chambers library, efficiently assembling documents, and following through with any other administrative tasks that I was ordered to do during my time as a judicial clerk.”

Nationality & born location:

As a low, quiet sigh escapes her mouth, she couldn’t help but let her past roam around her head. Thinking of how she was adopted, to being a citizen in a country she didn’t know of, were all quickly passed on as she formed a strict expression while straightening her posture.

“Although I am a Japanese citizen, I was born in Bagua Grande, Peru. But, I was adopted from Miraflores, in my home country Peru.”

Fluent languages:

Underline your native

As her strict expression loosened, Karin held a casual gaze with the individual before her. Forming a quick nod with her direct but simple answer, she switched her legs again while keeping her posture straight.

“I can speak in a total of three languages, Spanish being my native while Japanese and JSL were taught to me during my secondary education.”

Criminal record:

Lifting her eyebrow at the question only slightly, her expression faded as she answered with a quick and simple answer. Since she was always avoiding trouble, she saw it as stereotypical from how she was raised. Even so, she answered honestly.

“My criminal record is clean, as I have never done any criminal acts before in my life.”

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:

After hearing this question, her overall visible mood and expression switches from strict and stern to pure passion with full confidence. Even forming a semi-smile again with her strict facial feature, she couldn’t help but keep her posture strict as she answered. Since, it was a habit afterall.

“Having the ability to be flexible with change, seeing various situations that occur within the courtroom, being bilingual and having a long history of education within this field is what makes me believe I am a perfect candidate for this job. I have spent more than endless nights of studying in my room, learning from my mistakes I’ve made during my time as a student and gaining a valuable work experience I will never forget is what made me motivated into believing that I can take great steps into becoming a judge for Karakura. And being blessed with a loving adoptive family with great connections within the government field, has given me a great chance into understanding how the courtroom environment is. They inspired me to be what I am today, and I want to be the next inspiration for whoever looks up to me. Being able to witness others, whether it be friends or family, fulfill this job because of me is what I wish for as a judge. Using this as my main and strong motivation, helps me create the next best steps into becoming the greatest judge I can be. To not only give inspiration, but to help this city and community grow is what gives me more motivation into doing the best I can in this field.”
