Describe your activity on the server:
My journey on SRP started in early 2022. I spent my first year learning the rules, different commands and of course how to roleplay properly. I found a small group of people I quickly became friends with, we made a GC that exists to this day, I was and still am active on it almost all day. I have experienced roleplay from many different perpectives. First of all, the student's perspective. I have 3 Highschool characters, one of which I used to crimeRP. That's another POV i wanted to talk about, I spent almost a year gangRP'ing and CrimeRp'ing, I was a part of the Woodson Syndicate, Sinnerous and although for a very short time, the Pruszków gang. My time in gangRP was very entertaining, but I decided to move on and join the KPD, sadly my first application got denied. And that's when I applied for the professor role, I was a professor for about 4-5 months, met a lot of awesome people there, but the dreams of KPD were always there. After being a professor I took a break from the server, only coming back about a month ago. Also before the break I applied for Lawyer, but I abandoned the app mid way. I'm also active on all the official discords, being close friends with many awesome people like Kaara10, RinobaJr, MInisterFudge and StaticReality. They always backed me and are partly the reason I'm on the server. Apart from my past experiences though, I also roleplay with a lot of people now. Like chefs and other school faculty, which are one of the most fun and interesting people I met, I love to go to shrine and the church, talking with the maidens and priests.
I have no history of bans and I only remember having a warn for blocking a property sign about a year ago.
My availability is pretty much all day since im on summer break, but I mostly log on in the evening:
Monday: | Tuesday: | Wednesday: | Thursday: | Friday: | Saturday: | Sunday: |
1pm - 2am | 1pm - 2am | 1pm - 2am | 1pm - 2am | 1pm - 2am | 3pm- 3am | 3pm - 3am |
What is your motivation for applying?:
I have always wanted to become a part of KPD because I want to become a detective in real life. I’m on a Law-Criminology profile in my school and I’ve been interested in police work basically since birth. I believe being a part of KPD will give me some experience in police work and the behaviour of thugs etc. Not to mention the amazing roleplay opportunities that the job will give me, the ability of engaging with the community, meeting new people constantly and of course stopping crime in the city! And of course I just want to try something new from the roleplay perspective, I mean it will be something completely new, life from a cop perspective. To sum it all up, I wanna apply because it’s my real life dream to become a detective and I think it will give me some experience, and also I think it will be super fun and engaging, and of course a completely new experience.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Police work is a giant field that requires many responsibilities. It includes investigating crime scenes (within the detective division of KPD), patrolling the streets (typically handled by the main division), responding to 110 calls, maintaining public order, patting down and searching suspicious persons, and working toward a safer city where people feel secure. At its core, the KPD aims to deter crime, acting as a visible reminder with their motto “crime doesn’t pay.” Police officers use a variety of equipment and protcols to perform their duties effectively. strict protocols ensure officers act apropriately in any situation they may face. Training is provided to all officers, ensuring they understand the responsibilities that come with their authority. In many real-world police forces, the 10-code system is used for clear radio communication, here are some of the most popular ones I found:
10-4: “Acknowledged”
10-43: “In Pursuit”
10-64: “Crime in Progress”
I also believe this system is used on the server.
Officers also have a system of quota points that they need to reach to receive their paycheck. The minimum requirement is 20 quota, however they can get more to get a max paycheck of ¥400,000. They receive quota points for completing various tasks and duties that I'll tell you about later. Also worth to mention that my in-server knowledge is limited, mainly from interactions with KPD as part of my crime roleplay journey. However I have researched the forums to understand the KPD structure, which is divided into two main divisions with ranks that reflect progression and levels of experience, here they are:
RANKS:
Commissioner:
The commissioner oversees the entire Karakura Police Department, handling management, resource allocation, budgeting, and public relations. They bear the heaviest responsibility within the force, enabling lower ranks to function optimally while ensuring the department as a whole runs effectively
Commissioner:
The commissioner oversees the entire Karakura Police Department, handling management, resource allocation, budgeting, and public relations. They bear the heaviest responsibility within the force, enabling lower ranks to function optimally while ensuring the department as a whole runs effectively
Main Division: |
---|
Cadet - cadets are the new blood of KPD, being a cadet is the first step into the KPD journey. Cadets are put through a 2 week training phase, when they are monitored super closely and they train diverse scenarios and at the end of the 2 weeks, they need to pass an exam. If they fail, they will be given an additional week to practice and then another exam, in which failure leads to removal from the force. However if the cadet passes the exam, they become a patrol officer, which I will now tell you about |
Patrol Officer - The patrol officers are still considered rookies, they have slightly more autonomy, being able to leave the station with the permission of their higher-ups. They continue to gain field experience, preparing for the choice they will have to make, stay in the Main Division and become a corporal or join the Detective division and become a constable |
Sergeant - Sergeants are like veterans within the force, they can issue orders to lower ranks and handle disciplinary actions with valid reasoning. They are trusted to mediate hostage situations and gain access to a tranquiliser for subduing distant targets in critical scenarios, requiring sound judgment |
Lieutenant - This rank marks the transition into the higher zone of the Main Division. Lieutenants oversee cadet training, supervise exams, and have personal offices within the department. With only three slots available, officers at this level are held to the highest standards |
Captain - The highest rank within the Main Division, the captain oversees all lower ranks and is responsible for tactical and strategic decisions. They work closely with the commissioner, acting as their right hand while maintaining direct field invlvement |
Detective Division: |
---|
Detective Constable - Equivalent to a patrol officer in rank, constables focus on detective duties such as gathering evidence, investigating crime scenes, and interrogating suspects under supervision. The constable is like the start of the detective journey |
Detective Sergeant - Similar to a corporal in responsibility, detective sergeants supervise constables in the field, ensuring procedures are followed correctly and professionally while acting as role models within the division |
Detective Inspector - Comparable to Sergeants in the Main Division, inspectors are one step below the higher zone and handle greater responsibilities within the Detective Division. They are also trusted with a tranquilliser for critical situations requiring careful judgment |
Detective Chief Inspector - Entering the higher zone of the detective division, Chief Inspectors oversee lower ranks within the division and are functionally higher-ups within the department. With only two slots available, officers in this role are held to exceptional standards |
Detective Superintendent - The superintendent manages the entire Detective Division and collaborates closely with the commissioner. If the captain is the commissioner’s right hand, the superintendent serves as the left, ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of the faction |
Police work and tasks: |
---|
Patrolling - Mainly includes walking around the city and looking for any criminal activity |
Arresting - Pretty self explanatory |
Desk Duty - Involves sitting at the front desk of the KPD and assisting citizens with their questions and concerns, whether in person or over the phone. This includes providing information on posting bail, arranging inmate visits, or coordinating private meetings with officers for filing reports |
Taking reports - another responsibility handled by the officers during desk duty. If a citizen decides to file a report against someone, they are, as a safety measure, asked to face the wall to ensure they pose no threat to officers, others in the building, or the facility itself. They are then brought into a separate room, asked questions related to the report, and the process is completed. Afterward, they are escorted out of the building, and the officer returns to the front desk |
Taking care of inmates - includes maintaing safety of inmates, giving them food |
Monitoring the city - using the custom CCTV plugin to look for any criminal activity |
Assisting in court - helping if someone is going to court for a trial, making sure the lawyer and everyone else in the court, even the public viewing are in safe hands, making sure that the prisoned citizen is calm and safe also but keeping a close eye, just in case |
Raiding - raids happen when someone is liable for an arrest and needs to be arrested because of their threat to the public, mostly raiding apartments or the home where this person or threat lives |
Police equipment: |
---|
Handcuffs – used to apprehend a suspect, it requires an action and a role if the target resists, can’t be mugged |
Police baton – a 2 block range weapon used to apprehend suspects, requires 2 succesful hits to the head to KO, can be mugged |
Police radio – a waterproof communication device used by emergency units. It can’t be mugged but can be destroyed |
Stun blaster (taser) - a long range tool to immobilize a target, requires an action and a roll to be taken out in range, but doesn’t require them to shoot the weapon, upon hit it immobilizes the target from moving for 60 seconds |
Breathalyzer – a device used by officers to prevent the target from moving |
Pepper spray – a 2 block range device used to blind a target for 60 seconds, requires an action and a roll to be taken out in range. Can't be mugged |
Tranquilizer – a dart gun used to neutralize threats, requires an action and a roll to be taken out in range, requires a succesful hit to make the target unconscious for 2 minutes requires an action and a roll to reload in range, can hit a player up to 30 blocks, can’t be mugged |
Riot shield – a glass shield used for protection, it has 2 modes, the defensive (main hand) that blocks all attacks from the front and sides, and offensive (offhand) that allows the user to use offensive tools, however does not provide any defensive nor offensive avantages. Can be mugged if the officer is KO’d |
Gas mask – a mask that neutralizes the effects of pepper spray, can be mugged |
Crowbar – a tool used to break open doors and containers, can be mugged |
Police equipment (itemRP): |
---|
Luminol spray – used to identify blood on surfaces |
Disposable latex gloves - disposable non-fingerprint-proof gloves worn by all officers. All on duty police uniforms carry these by default |
Fingerprint scanner - Used to scan a suspect's fingerints. It can be used to tell if a fingerprint sample has matched a target's results |
First aid kit – a small sized kit used when an ambulance/EMS service isn't available. When used, it will grant 5 additional minutes to the bleedout timer |
Body camera - A constantly recording and live-streaming waterproof camera is attached to the front of an officer's uniform that is stored and accessed from a cloud database. The camera is not able to be removed but can be destroyed. The camera has the same properties as a CCTV and can view anything from the player's POV |
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
(IC)
The police are key to SchoolRP, maintaining safety within the community by eliminating threats and crime before they go out of control. Without KPD, Karakura would fall into chaos, with crime taking over the streets. We all know the server is full of gangs, thugs, and other criminal organizations, and the only group keeping them from ruling the streets is the KPD. Whether it’s a potential stabbing or harassment from a gang, the police are there when EMS can’t arrive in time or when civilians need immediate help. But the police don’t just stop crime, they also assist with firefighting, protect government officials during speaches and trials, and act as the backbone of Karakura’s government structure.
(OOC)
They make the roleplay aspect stand out by creating realistic, dynamic situations, bringing tension and balance to the server, especially with so many players participating in GangRP. The KPD is essential in making the server more entertaining for everyone while ensuring that there is a consistent sense of law and order. All in all, the police are the beacon of safety in SRP, doing everything in their power to protect and serve the civilians, fight crime, and keep Karakura under control.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I understand that fully and I will take full responsibility if I don't attend a training whilst I'm online.

What's your character's full name?:
As she stepped into the room, she offered a respectful bow to the interviewing officer before taking her seat. Then, with steady hands, she placed her ID card on the table in front of her. For a moment, she glanced around, taking in the plain grey walls and the single clock ticking above the officer’s head
-”My name is Sophie Allen Takeshima, nice to meet you sir.”

How old is your character (if accepted)?:
She frowned slightly upon hearing the question. She didn’t like talking about age, and the topic always made her shoulders stiffen. For a moment, she looked away, her eyes drifting toward the window as if searching for the right words. The air in the room seemed heavier, pressing against her chest as she took a quiet breath, trying to decide how much of herself she was willing to reveal
-”I am 29 years old, but I’d say I look a bit younger.. Right?”
What are your character's gender and pronouns?:
She adjusted her posture slightly, a faint smile crossing her face as the question was asked. For a moment, her eyes softened, and she glanced down at her hands before looking back up.
-”I use she/her, thanks for asking by the way.. Not many people do that.”
Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application:
(Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD):
She tapped her fingers lightly against her knee, thinking for a moment before answering. Her gaze drifted to the side, recalling the long nights she spent reading case studies, before returning to meet the interviewer’s eyes with quiet determination.
-”I am a highschool graduate, though I have been through a criminology course.”
What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
She tilted her head slightly, a thoughtful look crossing her face. Her fingers brushed lightly across the table’s edge, as if remembering family dinners filled with the soft noise of the polish language.
-”I can use JSL and I also speak Polish, my grandparents are from there so I know the language.”
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
-"You know, people often think being calm means you don’t feel anything, but that’s just a lie, it'snot true. When I walk into a room for an interview or when I’m on duty, I feel everything, the pressure, the responsibility.. but I don’t let it control me. I keep my voice calm, I look people in the eyes, I listen. Even when things get really damn serious, I take a breathe, think it through, and then act, because that’s how you keep others safe. It’s not about pretending you don't feel anything, it’s about choosing to stand your ground when it matters the most. But I’m not a robot either."She fixed her position in the chair and took a sip of water before contuinuing.
-"When I take off the uniform, I let myself breathe a little easier. I’ll tease someone lightly about their coffee addiction, or I’ll share how I ran a new trail and nearly got lost because I was too busy counting my pace. I stay aware, always.. old habits, but I let myself enjoy the moment too, because people need to see you’re human if they’re going to trust you. If someone needs help, I step in, no hesitation, but I keep the mood warm, so people can relax, so they can feel safe, not just protected. That’s who I am, whether I’m in uniform or not."
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
-"That's a tricky question, people ask what the point of teamwork really is, and I just think. Have you ever tried to control a crowd when no one’s working together? It’s chaos, and chaos gets people hurt. I’ve seen what happens when people decide to keep quiet about something suspicious they see because they think it’s not their problem, and then someone does get hurt and it becomes everyones problem. That’s a failure, plain and simple."
She took a deep breath, it seemed like she run out of air while saying the sentence, but then she continued talking.
-"But when you’re part of an organized team, it’s different. You watch out for each other, you share what you see, and you stay one step ahead sometimes even two or three. You can prevent something bad from happening before it even starts, and that’s the job, isn’t it? To prevent crime, to keep people safe before they even know they’re in danger. That only works if you trust the people next to you and they can trust you back."
What's your character's backstory?
-"Okay, so let's start from the start.. I used to think no one was ever coming for us. I was 7 when the gang came for my parents over debts that kept growing, debts that turned our home into a prison. They made me clean up after them, run errands, watch things I shouldn’t have seen. And when I was 12, they burned their mark into my back. Said it meant I’d always belong to them, that even if I ran, they’d find me. I believed them back then."-"That's a tricky question, people ask what the point of teamwork really is, and I just think. Have you ever tried to control a crowd when no one’s working together? What's your character's backstory?
-"When I was 15, the police raided one of the gang houses, and for a moment, it felt like maybe there was a way out. But it was too late for my parents and my brother. A year later, the gang found them and killed them,I remember standing at their funeral, promising myself that fear wasn’t going to decide who I will become. I finished high school while working nights, looking after my siblings, trying to keep us all alive. I ran to clear my head, learned to fight so I wouldn’t feel powerless again. But the weight of it all stayed with me, no matter how far I ran."

^(An old painting of the gang members Sophie made when she was young)^ ^(A photo of Sophie's family)^
A tear formed in her eye, slowly flowing down her cheek, but she wiped it off with her sleeve, took a deep breath and continued talking, now wiht a stronger, more confident voice.

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
-”No you cannot, if you’re caught with one, you'll end up with a felony and a posession of illegal weaponry charge.”
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
-”So the first one will be Melatonin which you can get for roughly ¥3,000, then you will always be able to buy some delicious cough syrup for about ¥6,000, then Multivitamins for ¥3,500 and Iron supplements for ¥2,500. And at the end we have some Paracetamol for ¥1,500"
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
-”If I ever saw a co-worker physically abusing an inmate, the first thing I’d do is make sure it’s caught on camera. If the cameras don’t have a clear view, I’d check that my bodycam isn’t blocked so it can captre what’s happening. I’d also take a moment to confirm whether it’s actually abuse and not my co-worker defending themselves against an aggressive inmate. Once I’m sure it’s real abuse, I’d try to pull my co-worker aside to talk to them about what they just did. After that, I’d check in with the inmate to hear their side of what happened. Once I have both sides of the story, I would immediately report the situation to the higher-ups so they can handle it properly.”
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
-”Assaulted as in physically attacked? I’m assuming that’s what this means. If I saw my co-worker being assaulted, I’d first assess the situaton and call for backup on the radio, while also notifying EMS that we have an injured officer. It wouldn’t make sense to just jump in and get myself hurt too without backup.
That said, as soon as I see a safe chance to help, I’d step in using whatever tools I have, like my taser or trnquilizer, to stop or de-escalate the situation in the safest way possible.”
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
-”No matter how close we were, I would still do what’s right. Turning your back on your fellow officers for cash is a betrayal, plain and simple. I’d start by collecting as much solid evidence and information as I can, building a strong case against them. Before taking any action, I’d inform my higher-ups. I know it wouldn’t be easy, and it might take time and put a heavy toll on me, but I would see it through. Betraying people who would’ve risked their lives for you is disgraceful, filthy and just horrible. and I can’t imagine what would drive someone to do something so terrible. My goal would be to build a case that ensures they can’t break the bond we have as officers or put others in danger again. I’d do everything I can to protect my colleagues and help remove anyone who’s become a plague of the KPD, making sure their actions don’t get other officers hurt or killed.”
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
-”I’d make sure my bodycam was on or that I was within CCTV range. This is important for two reasons. First, to have proof that the suspect tried to bribe me, and second, to protect myself in case they later claim I actually took the bribe. After that, I’d let the suspect know they’re getting an additional fine for attempting to bribe an officer.”
