Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are essential to SchoolRP because they bring structure, realism, and purpose to the school environment. They guide roleplay, create meaningful interactions, and help shape the development of student characters. Without teachers, classes wouldn't happen, and the server would lose one of its core features, education. They also help maintain order, build community, and keep the school setting fun and immersive for everyone involved.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

What's your character's full name?: Zoya Sokolova
What is your character's nationality?: Russian
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Design Technology (Culinary)
Describe your character:
A calm, well-spoken figure with street-smart charm, she blends easily into any crowd with her layered hoodie and quiet confidence. Friendly and emotionally grounded, she’s someone people naturally turn to, offering advice like an unofficial the****** with a sharp wit and a steady presence. She listens more than she speaks, but when she does, her words land with impact. Known for defusing drama, guiding others through tough moments, and always staying level-headed, she brings both warmth and wisdom to any group. While her past stays mostly unspoken, her ability to connect, lead, and keep things in balance makes her an ideal mentor, one who teaches not by force, but by example.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
She believes that everyone, students and co-workers alike, deserves respect, no matter their background or experience. She treats people as equals and values open communication, patience, and kindness. Her goal is to support and guide her students while building positive, collaborative relationships with her fellow staff members. At the end of the day, she just wants to help others grow and feel heard.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
She grew up in a circus, where formal education was never part of her world, everything she learned came from her surroundings, her instincts, and the people she met along the way. Because of that, she understands how hard it can be to navigate life without proper guidance or support. Her motivation for teaching comes from wanting to give others what she never had: a steady hand, a safe space to learn, and the tools to build a better future for themselves. She teaches so her students won’t have to struggle the way she did.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
She’d calmly check in with the student, offering extra help without making them feel embarrassed. Whether it's knife skills, timing, or flavor balancing, she’d break it down step by step and maybe even work beside them until they felt confident. Her style is patient and supportive, she knows everyone learns differently, especially in a hands-on field like cooking
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
She’d address it with a cool but firm tone, giving them a chance to correct their behavior without being called out in front of others. If it continues, she'd pull them aside, not just to scold, but to understand what's really going on. She believes even the loudest students can shine in a kitchen when they’re given responsibility and trust, so she might give them a leadership task to refocus their energy
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
“Mystery Basket Challenge” – Students are given surprise ingredients (within reason) and must create a dish in pairs. This builds creativity, teamwork, and time management, just like a real kitchen.
“Cultural Dish Showcase” – Each student chooses a country, researches a traditional dish, and prepares it. They present the dish, its origin, and what they learned about the culture behind it.
