Describe your activity on SchoolRP:
I'm generally very active! I log almost every day, even if it's a short amount of time to at least say hello to friends. I log at least 3 times a week, although later on during the night during weekdays as I have school. However, I will be moving towards summer break in a few weeks, so my activity will increase!

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
Although not entirely new to the game, I haven't been on for very long, only starting January of this year. However, I've grown fond of the roleplay experiences I've gained, as well as new people I have met during my time playing! I try my best to avoid toxicity, and have been good at keeping from troubling issues such as being banned or creating bad relationships intentionally. I love to detailRP and, while I haven't been in SRP until recently, I've been enjoying RP otherwise for the past 5 years.

What are your current roles on SchoolRP:

[Grade 12] Iseul Huang
[Grade 11] Haeyang Kaneko-Yu | MAIN
[Grade 11] Ryu-Na Aeun
[Grade 10] Koen Mayumi Ha | MAIN
[Fox] 'Tteok'

What is the subject you want to teach?:

Philosophy

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:

Although I'm still young outside of SRP, only halfway into my high school career, I personally want to study philosophy once I reach my college days. Being a professor would allow me to branch out to people who may also be genuinely interested in the subject, as well as create broader opportunities to meet wonderful people, which I generally find to be one of my favorite parts of SRP. While the paycheck is nice, I feel motivated to be a more included with SRP activities and interact with others.

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:

1.
An ethnical court hearing, or a debate in better terms. I would separate the classroom into two sides with opposing ideologies and have them create a claim that they must back up. In a debating fashion, I would have both sides play this out in a similar way to a real court case, although the 'evidence' would more so be how well they can back up the moral reasoning behind their claims. While there is no direct 'right' answer, I believe it will help individuals consider both sides of the coin and allow for a good cognitive thinking on their own standpoint on the world and humanity. These may stretch on for multiple classes, allowing for students to congress about it outside of class before returning with a stronger defense or argument.

2. Delving into the mindsets of real philosophers, I would assign each individual a philosopher and their ideas on a chosen topic. I would then allow a limited amount of time for research, or getting a grasp on how these figures thought before calling them up one by one and letting the class question the student, who must answer in a similar sense to how the philosopher themselves would have explained it. This may also expand over a course of multiple classes in the chance that a student isnt able to finish acting out their person.

Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:

A philosophical nature walk. I would gather the students, and under strict regulation and guidance, would allow them to explore the park just beyond school ground, allowing them a breath of fresh air while simultaneously allowing for a quick retreat back to school grounds in case time began to cut short. I would then start discussion questions about nature, allowing students to walk around while talking about topics that correlate to it. I would have each individual, pair, or group to come up with a claim to the questions and regather in a small picnic area to talk to their peers about their standing points, offering refreshments and snacks as they converse. An easy yet enjoyable trip, especially for college students who most likely feel cramped working on papers. Allows for growing connections, as well as a nice way to bask under the sun.

SCENARIO SECTION

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?

My character would step in without another thought, clearly telling them to break it up. She would then prompt them to explain the situation, hearing out both the group of jocks and the bobcat jock. Upon hearing the explanation, she would hand the group of jocks detention, explaining that whether or not their explanation was understandable, grouping up against one individual was unacceptable. However, she does not make it sound accusatory, and more so a blatant fact, telling them to rethink their decisions before attempting at something like that again.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?

Esphyr doesn't believe in stupid questions, but does understand in stupid timing of asking them. She would actually encourage them to think more deeply about their question, and whether it really was stupid or not. She'd even ask another question correlating to it that would make the student think in a broader aspect. However, if the student remains stubborn, Esphyr will bluntly tell them that they needed to be quiet, and if they were that curious, then they may ask her outside of detention.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and calling out other students in the class, what would your character do?

My character would pause the class, although allowing at most 5 minutes of her time to put an end to this. She would remain calm as she walks up to the students and hold her hand out, waiting expectedly for them to hand over the phone. If the students continue to be disrespectful and harassing other students, she would tell them exactly how their behavior was unacceptable and promptly remove them from the class. She does not appreciate others taking away the chance for people who genuinely want to learn beyond their acquired knowledge, and would return the phones afterwards once class is over, once again reminding them that this was their future, and it was but up to them to make the most of it.

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?

She would first attempt to understand both sides of the argument, almost never finding the reasons to be unreasonable as she believes these are all based on personalities and experience. If she's unable to break up the fight, my character would call for backup, unafraid of asking for help in aspects where she believes that she does need it. She would remain calm and composed, refusing to outburst in front of her students, yet take on a much sterner tone and reprimand them for irresponsible behavior, regardless of if the students cared to hear or not.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What does they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?

Esphyr is a steadfast woman who refuses to allow herself to get pushed around. She stands tall at 183 cm, shoulders broad and pulled back with an easy confidence that comes with many years of trial and errors. An almost otherworldly beauty, her jawline defined and expression schooled into that of something you would see on a runaway walk. Her eyes are an alluring, sharp green that seems to pierce those that attempt to underestimate her skillset, ample lips rarely allowing a crack in their glossy appearance, her straight teeth a pearly white. Her dyed, blue-green hair cascades down her back, framing her sculpted face and adding to her appeal, somehow complimenting her regal features. A well-built figure, lined with lean muscles and clearly a woman who takes pride with taking care of herself.

However, despite her cold demeanor, a gentle flower is budded deep within her chest. Although remaining impassive, a mountain unable to be moved, her heart is one centered around compassion and care regarding life. Upon warming up to her, there's a glint in her eyes that remind you of a breeze brushing by as a greeting, of the moon that kisses you goodnight. Motherly to some, or a good moral support system to others; she borders the line perfectly between reasonable and sympathetic. She regards students as if they're buds with the potential to grow into a meadow, of stars that have the opportunity to claim itself a planet. She's protective of everyone assigned under her care, willing to go above and beyond to ensure their safety before hers. She believes everyone has a talent of their own that they must cherish; and if the talent isn't visible in a physical form, then their existence was an expertise enough.

She holds respect for her colleagues unless proven otherwise. Never a hostile figure, although some may seem her as almost emotionless with her lack of outbursts or bouts of energy. Although she doesn't make movements towards getting close with them personally, she's always open for friendly conversating or growing a bond beyond being coworkers. She finds good work ethic admirable and disdains strong laziness, although understands the concept of burning out. She's unafraid to check up on them if she believes they're struggling, offering a shoulder to lean on or a person to talk to. Plans to teach way into the future and would like to keep good connections, as well as learn from one another.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.
Make sure this is over 100 words.

Born an only child, she's essentially raised by her grandmother. Although still in communication with her biological parents, she finds herself under her grandmother's care majority of the time. An avid enjoyer of the subject philosophy as well, her grandmother is a kind, loving woman who dedicated much time and effort in making sure Esphyr grew to be a fine woman. Never quite strict, but making sure that Esphyr created morals and stuck with them, even under pressure of those surrounding her to question her ideology. Allowed for much freedom, and encouraged her to always think beyond what she thinks she could be capable of.

Esphyr is generally much more apathetic as a child, struggling to emotionally connect with her peers. She delves herself into her grandmother's old books in an attempt to understand human nature in aspects that she couldn't wrap her head around. Slowly, she thaws out of her inability to understand both humanity and the world. Admires her grandmother greatly and began aspiring to teach others values that she had been taught herself, being dead set on becoming a teacher by the time she was 10. An incredibly hard worker, she remains studious all the way until her graduation, thriving off of her own success and her grandmother's pride. She learns of Karakura and its diverse student population, as well as its overwhelming crime population when she's halfway into her high school career through a friend who had transferred from there a while back. She finds herself wanting to expand her method of communication through both place and language; she picks up on a few language learning courses during her time in high school, as well as leading into her college years. With her diligence and the help of that friend, she manages to perfect Japanese and JSL, as well learn Korean well enough for basic communication. She graduates near the top of her class with a masters and begins her teaching career near her hometown for approximately two years before deciding to move to Karakura to begin her expected journey.
