INFORMATION
The Modelling Team consists of talented modellers and animators alike, being one of the six Community Teams on SchoolRP with a focus on artistic content. The team focuses on completing a large number of requests, namely for official server models and/or customer-requested models. Modellers may be expected to create both simple and complex models depending on their abilities; however, they will frequently be requested to make items such as piercing sets, hats, large and small furniture, items, and vehicles (including cars, motorcycles, etc.). Therefore, you must have a level of confidence in your ability to work alone.
Members who are accepted into the Modelling Team will be provided with a range of perks, such as:
- A unique tag (Modeller) in-game.
- Access to community-based chats in-game and on Discord.
- The ability to implement custom models into the server for their own personal usage in exchange for quota points received from completing requests.
- The ability to implement custom models with an animated texture.
- The ability to redeem rewards/commissions for completing models.
- A monthly paycheck redeemable through the models completed during the month.
- Any work created by Modellers for Roleplay Hub as a part of the Modelling Team belongs to the server and can be used for any reason, even after you leave.
- Modellers and Animators may only use Blockbench for all of their projects; this is the only programme accepted by SchoolRP for models.
- Modellers are responsible for creating 3D models for the SchoolRP resource pack.
- Modellers must maintain a consistent visual and technical style across all models. These models must fit the pre-existing style on the server.
- Textures are only accepted in pixel densities of 16x and 32x.
- Models must be submitted fully optimised.
- Modellers must have a good sense of colours and details.
- Modellers must have an understanding of Minecraft's model formats, UV mapping, and textures.
- Modellers should have a strong understanding of Java Minecraft's visual style and models.
- Modellers must be willing to work with and be transparent with customers and able to occasionally work alongside other modellers.
- Modellers must be able to deliver completed models within a two-week deadline upon being assigned.
- Modellers who cannot complete their expected duties are required to create an inactivity log, or risk being removed from the team.
- Modellers should be able to revise models based on feedback given by customers and/or the Model Coordinator.
