Describe your activity on the server:

First off, Let me state this. I’ve been on SRP for five years now, I’ve had my moments where I've quit for awhile, and have come back. Though, this time, I’m here to stay.

I’ll be splitting this question into two parts. 1) role activity within the server. And, 2) A description of how active I am on SchoolRP.
Roles I’ve had:
Professor:
Throughout my five years of SRP, I’ve had a few roles. The first ever ‘role’ I’ve had, outside of Grade-12. (Or animals). Is being professor. I was a professor for about six months. During this time, I taught ethics. During my classes, I’d typically do ethical debates, maybe a quiz or test very fair and few between. Though my debates would be on whether something was morally right, or wrong. And who was at fault. Stuff like that, during this time as a professor, I learned a lot. I was able to improve, and further my knowledge of SchoolRP, and factions.

On top of that, I had to do a fair bit of teamwork, for various events. Making sure everything ran smoothly, no rules were being broken. All in all, it required a lot of teamwork, and through this, I made a lot of friends. However, at some point, good times must come to an end. After six months of being a professor, I decided to leave the faction. This was due to personal OOC issues, and stress. I couldn’t make my quota, so I let someone else have my position. It was rough to go, everything felt so quiet.

HS-Basketball (1):
Until I joined the HS-Female Basketball team. I joined this team to have something to do, and to try out some new RP, RivalryRP, JockRP, all of the sorts. I genuinely enjoyed basketball, my team, my friends. The people I was with through thick and thin. I did a lot of RP here. As well as even further expanded my ability to detailRP, which proved highly useful to get me to where I am today. Ultimately however, I left the team.

HS-Basketball (2):
Until I rejoined. After some time, I rejoined SRP. Immediately, I rejoined my former team, I missed them. I obviously got accepted into the team, where I remain today. I love my team, And the stuff we get into. I’ve furthered my relations even more so since, due to my playing the troubled kid who’s always in trouble. I don’t think I’ll ever leave the team again. I love it here.

How active I am:
(All times listed will be in ADT)
So, my typical activity shifts at times. However, Throughout the school week, I tend to get on at 4:30-10:30, except for thursdays, and fridays. Thursdays are 5:30-10:30, and Fridays are at 4:40-N/A.

On the weekends, I don’t really have a set time when I’ll be on, or get off. So it’s a little tougher to say. Saturdays I am on whenever and whenever. Basically, when I feel like getting on, to when I get tired, Unless I have something planned. Sundays It’s when I feel like getting on, to 10:30, as I have school in the morning. Unless there is no school Monday, which basically means however long I want to, and the same as a Saturday.

Finally, the summers. Over the Summer, I do go to a lake. Though, not overly often. So, my time does shift. However, typically I have no set time to get on, or off. Basically when I want to or feel like it. My Summer does start in about three weeks though! And will last till about September 15th.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

Currently, I am applying for the judge position

What is your motivation for applying?:

OOC:
I have considered many jobs in real life, and I truly have no idea what I want to be. Or to do. Which is partially why I’m applying currently. I want to see, somewhat, what it’s like to be a judge. I feel as if it’d be a fun role, and something new for me to try. To see what it’s like. In addition to this, I feel as if the judge position (Or any government position) could be very fun, and I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun.

Also, I’d enjoy the pay. I, like anyone, have a spending addiction. I’d like a new way to make more yen, to be able to get more stuff. For me, friends, or other players I find around. Or even just give people yen more. I’m highly soft hearted, and love to help people out.

Furthermore, I know it sucks when you get punished for something falsely. Which is something I aim to try to prevent, as a judge. To listen, review, and then judge a case presented to me, and decide who’s in the right, and who's in the wrong. To protect the people.

IC:
Judith has always been the protector type, doing what she can to help fight and or protect people. Due to this, she ultimately wanted to decide for herself who was right, to better protect those who are or were innocent. Due to this it led her to becoming a judge.

To add onto this. Judith has always loved her job as a judge, and she plans to find a city in which she feels needed, and live out the rest of her days there. When she left her job, she was already in Karakura on vacation for around 5 weeks before, when she finally decided to make the call.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:

I do, and I’m open and hoping to learn more about them.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:

OOC:
There's so much I want to do, and accomplish within the Government faction, and try. One big thing is more RP scenarios, I love doing RP and always look for new things to do or to try. I think the Government would be a fantastic spot to do such. On top of that, a fun spot to try!

Also, to meet some more people! I’m a big time person, and love interacting and talking to everyone I can! So factions that do have a lot of people interaction is awesome! Those are the types of factions I like, so there's that.

In addition to both of those; To expand my knowledge on the systems within Karakura, especially the legal system, which I find interesting as is. However, I’d like to learn more about it, and the RP that goes into it.

IC:
Judith has a couple main goals within the faction. Firstly, as I’ve stated before, she thrives on making fair, and unbiased deductions. I’d consider this one of her goals, due to the fact that it’s something she retains pride for, and a passion.

Secondly, To meet more people within Karakura. Despite Judith being a bit of a people person, she doesn’t know anyone truly. This is due to the fact she spends most of her time reading, and or studying the Karakura laws, to make sure she knows everybit of them.

Also, to extend her knowledge on the laws. She finds legal systems, laws, and everything highly interesting. Due to this she’s made it her goal to know everything that there is to know regarding the legal system and laws. It’s another one of her passions, and thus would consider a goal.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

There are five primary roles within the faction, Mayor, deputy mayor, Judge, governor, and Lawyer.

The Mayor in the faction, over-sees everything going on in the faction. Whilst making sure everything is running fairly, and smoothly.

Deputy Mayor
The Deputy Mayor is just about the same as the Mayor, just on a smaller scale.
As far as I’m aware, they can do any job within the faction. As well as overseeing the faction
Judge
A Judge in Karakura, deals primarily in cases, and judging them. They do this through reviewing a case, accepting or denying a case, and finally, judging both parties on who’s at fault, or in the right.
  • Issuing warrants
  • Reviewing cases
  • Officiating marriages
  • Filing R/Os

The first question, she wasn’t really sure how to start the interview. “I did 22 years of schooling, this includes elementary, middle, high school, as well as university.” She sighed softly, Sliding a sheet over to the interviewer. “This sheet contains my majors, minors, and where I got them from” She gave a nod of her head, and crossed her arms as the interviewer looked over the sheet. “When I was a kid, I was far too excited for my future. I aim to further my education, part time- of course.” She smiled at the interviewer.

“It’s not the grandest of education and everything, though, As I said before, I aim to further my education, through online universities.” She smiled at the interviewer once more, and gave her head a soft, gentle nod.

Work experience:

She smiled softly, old workplaces were always an interesting topic. And with them, all kinds of answers need to be answered. What was too much or too little? More the merrier, I suppose. “I’ve worked in two courthouses before applying here in Karakura.” Her head nodded, with an awkward smile, “Worked in both for five years, before quitting.” She paused, before sliding a sheet of paper to the interviewer “This sheet contains when, where, and why I quit.”
Where:
When:
Reason for quitting:
Kyoto District Court
Kyoto Summary Court
(Kyoto, Japan)
May 2nd, 2015 - Nov 6th, 2020
I decided to stop working here, as a judge, as I got offered a better job, and paid more.
Fushimi Summary Court
(Kyoto, Japan)
Dec 12th, 2020 - May 6th, 2025
I was in Kyoto for 37 years, I needed a change of pace, so I left, and moved to this city. Shortly after, I applied to be a judge.

“Of course, there was the odd part-time job during my schooling, however I don’t feel those are overly important, I worked part-time to help clean up a lawyer’s office, and the typical small short-term retail job.” She sighed, she clearly didn’t like talking about the retail job. Though, she waited patiently for the next question.

Nationality & born location:

The woman crossed her arms slightly, leaning into her chair. This specific question was always annoying to her. That was clear. Speculations and everything. A slight sigh exited her lips, before she finally broke her own quietness with an answer. “I am Japanese-American.” She nodded her head slightly, before looking at the interviewer closer now. “I was born in Kyoto, Japan.” She shot a smile at the interviewer, a fake one, but it seemed real enough, for now, anyways. “My father chose my name, and my mother loved it. Unfortunately I do not have a traditional Japanese name due to this.” She crossed her arms, slightly upset at this. Who wouldn’t be? Her childhood was dealing with bullies trying to bully her name.

Fluent languages (Underline your native):
She sighed heavily this time. This was the question which could change the fate of this interview entirely. “Before I answer, please note, I am currently taking language lessons.” She looked down at her lap, letting out another soft sigh. Suddenly, her head darted upwards and looked the interviewer in the eyes with new found confidence, seemingly out of nowhere. “Currently I only speak Japanese. I’m taking lessons for Russian, as well as JSL.” She gave the interviewer a firm, court nod of her head. Before adding one final thing “JSL would be highly beneficial, to be able to do trials for any mute, and or deaf people on trial.” She placed her hands on the desk separating her and the interviewer, her fingers intertwined. She gave another smile, before answering the next question.

Criminal record:

She gasped at the question. Her?! Criminal record?! The two did not mix. “I have no criminal record, in any country, or here.” She continued to eye the interviewer, to attempt to prove herself true with eye contact. Granted, she wasn’t lying. “I’ve always been a bit of a goodie-two-shoes growing up, Listened to the rules, and kept my nose clean.” She nodded once more, with a genuine smile, oddly enough. “Y’know- reading through books regarding laws, studying and all that jazz. Wanted to make sure I didn’t have any form of trouble or issues with the law.” She gave a slight thumbs up to the interviewer, ready to answer the next question, or anything else that may be asked about during this question.

What makes you a good candidate for this job?

She raised her eyebrows at the question. This was a good question, in her opinion at least. A smile showed on her face before the beginning of her answer “What makes me a good candidate?” She repeated the question back to the interviewer. “Well, firstly, at my age, I'm at a good age, I can do this job for years, decades even, before I need to quit. However, I intend to work Until I physically can’t.” She nodded her head slightly, wasn't an overly strong or good point, but a point nonetheless. Which she thought should be mentioned “Secondly, my entire life has been dedicated towards the law, and upholding the law, before I was a judge, and before judge a lawyer, I volunteered at law offices, from a young age. Started when I was merely 14 years old.” She smiled softly, she let a bit of her pride show in the smile though. How could she not? “Thirdly, is my family background. I come from a line of lawyers, and judges. Who’ve taught me what being a lawyer and or judge is like, from a very young age.” She beamed at this, her family, her joy. This was her happy place, in her mind, anyways. “Furthermore, I have a genuine passion for justice. I want to ensure every single case I judge, that both sides are seen, listened to, and judged fairly and accordingly. In my opinion, everyone, no matter who, deserves a fair chance and shot at being proven guilty or innocent, otherwise, why would I be a judge anyways? Why do or put so much work and effort into being a judge?”
