Describe your activity on the server:
This upcoming summer, I will have been an active member of SRP for about 4 years. Since I began, I’ve been playing my first character consistently, frequenting the server enough to maintain a job and an apartment for my character.
With discord being my main mode of communication with my friends, I’m part of multiple SRP-related servers including it's main town and school servers. I check my notifications daily for SRP event updates.
I also check the forums and Onrain on a bi-weekly basis at minimum, and multiple times per week when I’m in a state of average activity.
With Spring starting up, I'm refreshing my level of SRP activity as it was before my winter holiday hiatus. I have obligations off the web with changing hours, but I tend to have free time on weekends and a few select weekdays. Myself and my shop managers will be able to open and run this restaurant on a consistent weekly basis.

This application is for my first and primary character slot, which currently has the College[M] role.

Shop Information
What shop are you applying for?The restaurant slot and location previously occupied by Ryuketsu.
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I'd like to become a shopkeeper in order to bring to life a shop idea I've been workshopping for a couple of years now. Inspired by the concept of a maid cafe and SRP's multiple executions in both the shop faction and school clubs, I wanted to run a restaurant where the staff fulfilled the roles of both service and performance with my own twist on it. I'm hoping to create a location in SRP that provides roleplay opportunities that capitalize on play-within-play and will form a strong bond to the player base.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?
Starlight Show Theater will be a restaurant that not only entertains the public, but will stand as a pillar of patronage to the arts. SST is designed to support characters who are independent creatives in a variety of ways: mid-opening fashion shows, skits, and live musical performances will take place on the part of the staff. Customers and fans will also have the opportunity to submit requests to perform as independent entertainers during an opening and be financially reimbursed for their time and talent.
What will you sell in your shop?
Starlight Show Theater will serve lunch food items, dinner food items, decadent desserts, and drinks: both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks for 20+ patrons.
Starlight Show Theater will also offer collaborative merchandise in support of its partnered stores or companies. This will be a rotating stock in which items are offered for a limited time.
How many employees do you plan to have?
Waitstaff - Ideally I would hire twice as many waitstaff as there are tables to serve, and each opening could be run with approximately a quarter of the full hired waitstaff. Waitstaff will double as models on the few occasions when Starlight is partnering with an independent tailor/designer.
Bartenders - My bar tending waitstaff would be restricted to characters who are 20+ in age, and may overlap with my hired waitstaff. I anticipate needing only one at minimum per opening.
Performers - Because Actors and Musicians are roles that can be filled by patrons via application, I expect for the recurring entertainment staff to overlap with waitstaff at their request. Otherwise, I'm open to hiring a handful of recurring performers: no more than three.
Photographers - Five or less photographers will be hired to record performances at each opening. Patrons who apply to perform for a single opening will also recieve photos taken of their performance.
Total anticipated employees: Roughly 25-35 on payroll
Waitstaff & Bartenders: Approximately 20-25 (Requiring 5 at minimum per opening)
Performers: 2-3 Recurring (Requiring 1 at minimum per opening)
Photographers: 3-5 (Requiring 1 at minimum per opening)

Additional notes about your application:
- Starlight Show Theater will offer guidance to amatuer entertainers, and host open mic nights
- Uplifting creatives in the community will be an integral part of Starlight's identity
- Customers will not be pressured to participate in performance in any way. The "dinner & a show" aesthetic will allow for patrons to relax and enjoy performances.
