Describe your activity on the server:
I would describe myself as heavily active. Averaging around 5-6 hours a day during weekends and weekdays if I do not have any set plans. On such days, I am typically on ranging between 1PM to 6-8PM (EST). Otherwise, my activity shortens to 2-3 hours depending on my schedule. Around the server itself however, I am often participating in events, icly jobs, and sport team events! I play a variety of colorful characters and have an avid passion for the server as a whole.

What position are you applying for?:
I am applying for the position of Lawyer.
What is your motivation for applying?:
I have been playing SRP for a year, and then some now. Soon to be playing for two years. I would describe myself as experienced, though still harnessing plenty of room for growth and learning experiences. Applying for the Government faction is one of which, as I wish to further enrich my roleplay experience and branch out towards the various areas that SRP offers as a whole. Aside from the reporter faction, was Government something I always had an eye on. Combining both interests of mine—that of which being creative writing and the topic of law.
For example, one of my personal favorite facets of SRP are certainly the trials that are hosted. I would love to have the chance to learn more of the in’s and out’s, and perhaps even be able to participate in a trial myself!
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have read both the laws and constitutional rights extensively, and have a good understanding of them! Though, of course, I will ensure to scan back over the laws and rights whenever need be, to ensure I am fulfilling my role more effectively.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
As stated before, a main goal I would like to achieve is to be able to participate in a trial myself. Along with enriching my roleplay, but namely, learning. I will work towards learning the in’s and out’s of the Faction, and aim to get along with my fellow members as well. I would also wish to apply my own experience towards the Faction and grow overtime.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
[Governor]
Governor carries the responsibility of various jobs that benefit the community. They are expected to hand out ID cards and are often the first people one goes to when officiating marriages, and handling adoptions. Governors are also expected to do shop inspections to ensure everything is up to code—and overall survey the public to ensure their welfare. Their job revolves around an much more local scale—providing a sufficient quality of life and services.
[Lawyer]
A Lawyers role in the political system is to uphold the hand of justice, be it defending or prosecuting whoever takes the bench. They are required to keep in contact with their clients and arrange meetings with them. A part of their job also revolves around issuing restraining orders, attending to calls and trials—and simple desk work. Above all however, is it crucial for a Lawyer to be provided as a key advisor and spokesperson for their clients. Their role essentially takes on what is needed for justice to be upheld.
[Judge]
The Judge is the most critical role in the setting of a courtroom. They overlook and ensure the proper procedures are being abided by efficiently. Judges issue warrants, look over cases provided by Lawyers, and much like governors, can also officiate marriages and adoption cases. Though more akin to Lawyers, are they also able to issue restraining orders. They could be seen as the "referees" in the room—carrying a large amount of responsibility to not only follow, but heavily enforce correct protocols.
[Deputy Mayor]
The Mayor’s second in command. Their word is taken directly from the Mayor’s, conducting speeches, signing documents, and attending meetings often in the Mayor’s stead. Their role also requires them to oversee the lower positions to ensure all is running smoothly. Reporting back to the Mayor if need be. Often speaking for the Mayor, their word is rule in situations where the Mayor cannot be present.
[Mayor]
The Mayor is the spokesperson and representative of Karakura. The Mayor oversees all construction work, lower government positions, and has the final say when it comes to any changes in the legal system. A few facets of their role includes conducting speeches, placing in new policies, and doing what is best for the welfare of the citizens of Karakura. It is not only their job, but responsibility to pave a path forwards for the city as a whole.
Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes, I acknowledge and understand that I may be removed at any time from the government faction if faction leads and/or higher-ups see it best.
Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
I have read through the Faction rules and will do what I can to enforce, and follow them each extensively. I will also look them over often to uphold this!

[!] The blond entered the interview room, one foot in front of the other. A bag rested at her hip—that is until she placed herself down. Resting the bag next to the chair—Winblad offered the interviewer a soft smile. [!]
“Good day, I hope I did not arrive too early?”
[!] A small means of banter before the interview began. Though she’d correct her posture as she readied for the incoming query's. [!]
Full name:
[!] The woman brought her head forwards into a brief bow before supplying her name. [!]
“Octavia von Winblad. It is my pleasure to be here with you today.”
Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
“Ah, my preferred title? Well ‘Mrs. Winblad’ sounds dreadfully formal, does it not?”
[!] Winblad chuckled lowly. Folding her digits together over her lap afterwards. [!]
“Octavia would do just fine, though if I had to select—‘ma’am’ or simply, ‘miss’ would be alright as well.”
Current age:
“Gosh well—I will be 26 come December, though I am currently 25.”
Date of birth:
[!] The woman shifted herself slightly—folding her left leg over her right. [!]
“It is rather silly, though I was born on a holiday—December 25th, 2000.”
Gender:
“I identify as a female.”
Academic Degree:
[!] The lady raised her palm to drum her digits against the table. Her nails rhythmically tapping away as she answered with no hesitation. [!]
“I have a Bachelors in Business and Political Science. I actually attended Karakura’s own University here for a few years now.”
Major(s):
“I have a majors in Communications and Judicial Politics. For as long as my memory gifts me, I have always been in the political sphere, namely due to the work of my Mother.”
[!] A brief chuckle before she continued on. [!]
“So it was only really natural I set about a similar path.”
Minor(s):
[!] There’d be a break in the tapping as she raised her palm to adjust her spectacles. [!]
“Well I have minors in Painting, and a minors in Public Health.”
Work experience:
“I have worked in Karakura for some time actually. Namely, I have worked for Yakedo Amai for a few years or so now—and other various odd jobs here or there to keep myself afloat. Ah—though before I made the move to Karakura, I used to intern for my Mother back in Sweden. She did governor work and I would always assist her however I could. Which. . did allow me an insight into that world and likewise, a glimpse into law.”
Nationality & born location:
“Well I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Though I do carry German blood from my Fathers side of the family. I moved here to Karakura around. . . seven years or so now I believe?"
Fluent languages (Underline your native):
“Ah, well as aforementioned, I was born and raised in Sweden. So my native tongue is Swedish—though I do also speak German, and Korean as well.”
Criminal record:
“No, I do not have a criminal record. Though that is not to say I have not gone through my fair share of trouble in my youth, haha. Such days of ‘excitement’ are long behind me now, do not worry.”
What makes you a good candidate for this job?
[!] Apart from her previous answers that lacked a pause—was there a brief lull. Silence filling up the room as she carefully considered her answer. Giving it some thought, before speaking up once more—her voice clear, and traveling throughout the room. [!]
“I cannot say that I am high and above many of the other applicants, for I am not. I may be just as fitting for the position as the next person who walks through this door—or the one before me. I may get a call back about the position, or I may not. Though none of it will ever take away from the fact that I seek to speak for the people.”
[!] She cleared her throat before continuing. [!]
“For those who cannot find themselves able to do just that. Those who are struggling, those who simply need that voice who can take their own place. For a long period of time now, I have always wished to take care of others—it is one of the sole reasons I have fought, and clawed my way to where I sit before you today. That is to simply say, no matter where I am led—I shall always continue to vouch and climb, no matter the stakes. I would consider myself very hard-working, and will ensure that you are not disappointed with my performance if I am chosen for such an important role.”
[!] With that, Winblad rose from the chair. Extending her right palm out to the interviewer—offering a handshake and a brief farewell. The lady then exiting the room, bag in tow. [!]
Additional Notes: Upon acceptance, I will be replacing my primary with the lawyer tag. I have already discussed with my sports team captain about leaving the faction!
