Describe your activity on the server:
As of right now, I am usually free everyday from the afternoon till late at night. Now some of the roleplays I have been a part of include Family Roleplay, Gang/Crime Roleplay and Class/School Roleplay. Family Roleplay includes hanging out with family, talking about our days and problems, and helping with our problems from emotional, mental and physical. An example of this is simply hanging out in the beach with the family and catching up with each others day. For Crime Roleplay, I used to be a part of a Crime family, but have dropped out of it awhile ago. During my time in Crime Rp I was usually involve with combat. This makes me familiar with how combat works. Like Class Roleplay suggest, it involved me joining in different classes like History and Physical Education, where I get to learn more about Karakura and interact with others. Another thing to note is that I always try my best to join in the different events that the server does. I find it an amazing way to discover new people and find things that I like/enjoy.
What is your motivation for applying?:
For a while now I have been interested in how KPD operates. Even though I have not had as much interaction with them, whenever I do they look professional and fun at the same time. In my opinion this is one of the most important and interesting fractions that SRP has to offer. If I do get into KPD my plan is to create a cowboy character to add some fun and interesting interactions with not only criminals and citizens but also other members of KPD.
Something else that I would like to mention is that I have always been interested in the law; not only in this server. There are many different games that I have played that involved becoming an officer of the law and upholding the rules. (Mainly in Roblox lik ER:LC)
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
When it comes to knowledge of Police Work, mine comes from other video games that I have played before. However, I am able to connect some of them together. I understand there are certain roles and jobs that happen within KPD. I know that there are people who work at the front desk who deal with any problems that citizens are able to tell them and handles the bail money for those who are locked up. There are those who go out on patrol usually in groups to stay safe in numbers and to have more people watching out for any crime that people may be committing. They also perform arrests if they have probable cause. I am also familiar with some of the Code 10s that they use due to other games. From my understanding here are the ranks in KPD(Not in order):

Cadet | This is where all member of KPD begin their journey. It is when they learn the basis of what KPD is and what they are suppose to do. This includes learning how to answer calls, how to handle the front desk, how patrolling work, how to tell when it is appropriate to detain and/or arrest someone and more. |
Patrol Officer | These are the people who learned all the basis of being a member of KPD. They know how to do most of the things that were listed above and can do it independently. With the expection of patrolling; you should always have someone with you to have your back. |
Detective | These people are likely in charge of investigating crimes like robbery and murder. Their job is to gather evidence and discover what happened during certain crimes and discover any crime that is happening behind their back. Also, I believe that they also patrol every once and awhile. |
Commisioner | This is the person who is in charge with the whole of KPD. They are the overseer of everything that happens that is crime related. While likely not patrolling as much as others, they need to handle major decisions when it comes to the fate of the citizens of Karakura. |
Another thing I would like to mention is that I am familiar with some of the tools that KPD officers use like baton, police radio, taser and pepper spray. However, would need help to know how to use them.
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
When it comes to having a server that is centered around a town, you must always have some sort of law enforcement. Police are needed in SRP in order to make sure that those who are commiting crimes will be delt with. Police are also needed to create a sense of safety around Karakura. For example, KPD are needed for many events that this city host. This is because they are there to make sure that nothing wrong happens during it and if something does occur then they can handle it immedietly. Another thing to note is that it adds a sense of realism in SRP since in real life police do similar things. If police are not in SRP then the server will turn into choas and many people will be in danger. So, police are important in order for citizens to go around town and have fun without worrying too much for their safety.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I understand I must attend every training when I am online.

"Other than Japanese, I do know some Spanish, French and Korean."
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
At a glance, Adrian Curran would be seen as a delightful and passionate guy. Standing at a solid 5"11', he would seem like a buff man as if he heads to the gym all the time; not missing a day. His front hair is rather long, almost reaching his eyes, but he makes sure that it is stylish. Looking closer to his face would be his hazel eyes glistening into yourself . Going down, with his tanned skin would be some scratches on both of his arms, but he doesnt seem afraid to show them. Now looking at the way he acts, he seems to be quite a passive person, who enjoys chatter with those he get to know well. It does not matter if its a funny joke or serious conversation, he will express the way he feels with what you are saying to him.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
In his mind, there is no such thing as a casual situation while on duty. It does not matter if he is in the front desk or chasing down suspects, he will always try his best to stay as proffesional as he can. The only main difference is that he would be a bit more relax during the lesser stress situations. He is also a man of his word as long as it is something he believes in. If he is giving an order then he will do his best to up hold it and if he feels like its wrong, then he won't be scared to give his two cents on the orders given. Adrian would prefer to have things organized and neat. He isn't some sort of neat freak, but if someone doesn't do their paperworks or places their equipment in the wrong place, then he will seem mad and tell you; discipline is key in his opinion. Now the "casual" situations would be when he is off duty. Even if he is alone or with friends, he would still be attentive with his surrounding, making sure no crime is happening around him. He might be off duty, but does not mean crime stops when he does.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Co-workers and teamwork are the most powerful thing when it comes to working in the force. The moto he believes in is "If you treat and help your fellow members, then they will return it". It does not matter if its for work or for fun, his moto still stands. While he was young, he would help out his local soccer group with training, since at the time there wasn't many volunteers. He even played in a soccer team and the way Javier sees it, if they can't work together then the team is doomed from the start. In short, teamwork is apart of his blood and it continues to run no matter the time and place he is in.
What's your character's backstory?
Adrian Curran was born on March 17, 1998 somewhere in Spain. He doesn't remember this part of his life that much because just two years after his birth his familyl set sails for a better future. Landing in Canada and moving to the mountains of British Columbia, Adrian got to live by the shore and the mountains. His father was able to get a job as an accountant after awhile searching and his mom was able to continue her career of being a teacher after getting her provincial licience. The main reason for moving to BC is because their family had other family living there. For the rest of his infancy and a part of his elementary years he lived with his cousins who were around the same age as him. Javier was able to learn English from them and learn about his love of cowboys.
Looking into his elementary years, Javier can be described as a quiet yet active kid. He didn't have many friends during his first few years of elementary since he felt too different than those around him. But, that didn't stop him from suceeding academically. He always had above average grades which made his family proud. Weither this is because he study hard or have a mother as a teacher; who knows. Adrian was able to become more confident and social after finding his love for soccer. He discovered this when he first played soccer in his gym class. After that day he got himself a soccer ball and practice skills like scoring. Later he was able to convince his family to put him into a soccer team and quickly learned to play the sport and work as a team. This continued as he entered his High School Years.
During his elementary years, many changes happened. At first his parents were able to buy a house, so that they didnt have to continue to bother their cousins. Adrian was excited for this because he finally got a room for himself. Before then, he had to share rooms with two of his cousins. He liked the idea of this, but when it came to reality his opinion changed. His cousins were quite a klutz when it comes to everyting. They had their toys all over the room and half of the time Adrian would lose his possessions in the pile of mess. He would usually argue with them and tell them to clean their stuff. After finally getting his room, he kept is clean and organized. For the most part his family were financially well and there werent a lot of arguments.
In his opinion, his high school years were his best years as of now. He got to discover himself the most during this time. As he entered high school, he decided to take a variety of classes like cooking, physical education and french. He figured that it would be useful for him to learn some french since he lives in a country where french and english are the official language. He also joined the soccer team where they were able to win city championship twice. In terms of friends, his group continued to grow with him socializing with almost every person he sees as interesting. He even dated a few, but that werent for long since he wasn't really looking for that sort of thing at the time. His grades still stayed similar; making sure his grades were high. Another thing to note is that his love for cowboys continue to grow with having some posters, dressing up as them for halloween, spinning toy revolvers and even learning how to ride a horse.
Now the most important part of his time in High School was his trip to Japan. His school has this tradition to bring Seniors to some sort of country to explore for a week. When Adrian became a grade 12 student, the school were able to bring people to Japan. After much begging to his parents and even using some of his allowance that he got from his job he had as a fast food worker, he was able to go to Japan. He figured that it was the best if he learned some of the language, so after he got the yes from his parents, he went to work on learning how to speak japanese. He used many resources like videos, apps and even a had a friend who taught him how to say certain words. During his time in Japan, he got to see so many futuristic places along with the beautiful nature they had to offer. This trip pushed his love for Japan and Japanese culture.
After graduation, he took a year to try to figure out what he wanted to do for his life. He continued to work a various jobs to support himself and his family. One of these jobs were being a security job. This was the job that pushed him towards working on the career he is applying for today. He learned so much about calming down people during situations, being attentive with those around him and even how to disarm a person. He later applied for university to study law and crime, which he was able to get into. While studying and working on his classes, he met a lovely lady who he dated for two years. She was Korean, so he figured that he should learn how to speak it. He thought that she was the one, but they broke up........
When the break up happened, he sort of lost a part of himself. He thought he found the one, but in the end it wasnt. But that didnt completly stopped him from achieving his goals in life. After discovering a possible job in a city called Karakura in Japan, he made sure he was financially ready and book a flight over. Now that he is in Karakura, he hopes to start his new career as an officer of the law. With his knowledge of law, languages, and general intelligence, he hopes that he can start a new chapter here in Karakura.

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
"If I see a fellow member of the law abusing an inmate, then I would immediately call for backup before taking anything other actions. I would inform then of the situation and that I will try to intervene. While on duty, I will have some sort of body camera on me, so that if it comes to court or an investigation, I will have proof that what I saw was the truth and attempted to de-escalate the situation on hand. Even thoughthey are an inmate, an officer of the law should NOT abuse the inmate without any sort of indication that the inmate were attacking the officer in the first place."
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
"Similarly to the last prompt, I will call in for backup and tell them my location and the situation that is happening on hand. Now the actions I will do next depends on what is happening. If the person is handling and beating my partner with a weapon like a metal bat or wrench, then I will pull out either my taser and tase the person till they are down or pepper spray them. I would then proceed to arrest them and check on my partner after. If there is multiple people (I consider it three or more) then my priority is to secure my partner and wait till backup arrive. I will still do the same procedure by grabbing my taser or pepper spray and using it to make them get their hands off my partner, but instead of arresting them, I would make sure my partner is fine. Then depending on the situation I would retreat with my partner or stand my ground till backup arrives. If I try to arrest them then likely one of their accomplices will attack me, which will ruin the purpose of me helping my partner."
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
"As much as I want to report them right away, without any sort of evidence it will likely be ignored. So, first I would find as much evidence as I can, making sure that the ways I gain these evidences are legal methods. Then after I gather enough, I will present it to the higher ups, explaining how I believe that the certain individual is helping criminal organizations or abusing their power and then show them the evidence I gathered."
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
"I would giving them a warning by reminding them that bribery will only give them more charges or tickets. In my opinion, it wouldn't be right to give them one without some sort of warning. However, if they continue to bribe me then I would give them tickets/fines. Bribery is not acceptable in any sort of situation."
