What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
My roleplay experiences are all over the place, which I honestly think is a good thing looking back. Everything up until now has shaped me into not just who I am, but a somewhat talented writer who’s confident in what I do!
In 2019, everything started. To be honest, it's crazy to think it's already been /five/ years. I got thrown headfirst into it all, starting on Amino... hah. I was basically warm printer paper, a blank document, I knew NOTHING about what I was getting myself into. In 2020, I moved over to Instagram after Amino started dying out. My account was originally a personal one revolved around gacha life, and I ended up in a roleplay group chat with a handful of my friends. In 2021, I fell in love with an anime and made a fan account to post as my favorite character, building a fanbase of around 3,000 people and making even MORE friends and another roleplay group chat. Between 2021 and 2022, I started using Discord too. I found someone I now call a brother, and joined a server based around that anime that he invited me to. I was living the LIFE... urgh simpler times.
In 2023, I drifted away from my old friends and stumbled across a YouTube video about SRP. Even though I forgot about it for a while, I eventually came back, still wondering what it would be like to start in a server that seemed so scary yet weirdly inviting. Upon joining, I was confused and nervous, but a friend or two helped me find my way. In 2024, I joined the government faction but lost motivation after a dip in my mental and physical health. After being removed for inactivity, I worked on myself and later applied for KPD due to my underlying interest in becoming more involved, as well as the investigation that comes with the Detective division... join the detectives, guys, you won't regret it!!!
Now it's 2025, which is still baffling to me. I got into KPD last July, which means that my one year has passed (#commitment), and my two years on SRP have already passed! I've been on both the Bobcat and Spartan female football teams during this time... #3 and #6. Now I feel like I've done most of what I'm interested in. The only thing that I haven't done yet is join this faction, and I will write countless applications until I'm finally able to walk around- Psychiatrist or Doctor. I've always had a strong interest in anything medical. I have enough reputation amongst my community and quality time on this platform to say that I'm ready for something new - a fresh chapter. I just recently quit KPD, too. That wasn't because I wanted a break - it was also because I wanted to try something new. Try this faction specifically, to be exact.
What is your motivation for applying?
I have many motivations when it comes to applying for this faction, but the most prominent will be my love for anthropology, biology, and psychology as a group of scientific studies. As my motivations are somewhat tailored to the role I'm applying for, I can't help but say that I /love/ researching different psychological phenomena, alongside different disorders and reading up on public studies. Aside from the mental aspect of it all, I've been told that I would be more suited for this position rather than the doctor position because of how detailed the roleplay within this field can get. That intrigues me beyond belief. As a member of the Detective division, a literary scholar, and a student going into advanced biomedical study, I truly believe that those words were the last push I needed to go ahead and apply. Also, yes, you heard that RIGHT! I am in biomedical classes. This means that I am working toward becoming a nurse myself, and this course helps set me up for possible internships at local hospitals starting next school year. I want to get practice in early despite the research that I'm already doing, and if applying for this faction means improving my knowledge, you know that I'm going to give this application my all.
Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist (or Doctor! Read my little note below)
Hey, applicants note here! I'm open to /both/ positions because I've noticed that Psychiatrist doesn't typically have many open spots!
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
I have as much knowledge as any individual who has done their research, I believe! Here is a detailed table regarding the roles within the Hospital Faction and their duties.
HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS
Emergency Department | The Emergency Department houses our Paramedics. After passing your resident examinations, you may reach out to either the Director or Chief Paramedic, expressing your interest in this department, no matter the initial path you choose. When requesting consideration regarding acceptance into this department, you must be ready for the fast-paced nature of it all, as Paramedics must be ready to respond to calls and provide emergency care at all times. |
Doctor Department | The Doctor Department houses our Doctors. After passing the resident examinations, a Doctor can provide physical and/or medical care. Typically being the first people you bump into upon entry, they treat every individual with care. |
Psychiatrist Department | The Psychiatrist Department houses our Psychiatrists. After passing the resident examinations, a Psychiatrist can provide mental care to those who set foot inside Karakura's Hospital. Psychiatrists offer a wide range of services: evaluations for officers of the Karakura Police Department, therapy appointments, a diagnosis, etc. They are also able to hand out and renew prescriptions! |
ROLES
All roles within the Emergency Department are Chief Paramedic, Deputy Chief Paramedic, Advanced Paramedic, Paramedic, and Paramedic Trainee. | All roles within the Doctor Department are Clinical Lead, Clinical Supervisor, Attending Doctor, Senior Doctor Resident, Doctor Resident, and Doctor Trainee. | All roles within the Psychiatrist Department are Clinical Lead, Clinical Supervisor, Attending Psychiatrist, Senior Psychiatrist Resident, Psychiatrist Resident, and Psychiatrist Trainee. |
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes! I fully understand this, and I will join every training session possible, as I'm excited to see what I am able to bring to the table once passing residency exams.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen. Some examples can be found here)
Alexander Green's medical specialty is psychiatry. This decision was easy for him when he first began wondering what he wanted to make of his life. Someone who helps people for sure, just... how? The nerd in him has always been interested in the ways a brain functions. Mentally, for the most part. He ended up choosing this focus because he wanted to help bring light to an area that had gone dull. Not many people talk about mental health and its true effects on a person. He wanted to make that change and consult people directly. He wanted to lend a helping hand to hopefully make up for all the times that were never an option for someone.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Somewhat. Alexander threw himself right into an internship once he graduated from college with his Master's degree. He took up this internship for about a year to see it through before getting a job at that same hospital. He only stayed there for a short period of time - two years, to apply for a job at Karakura Hospital.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Alexander Green hails from Cambridge, England, and stands at 5'8". With tan skin, darkly styled hair sits atop his head! Nothing makes him visibly unique, but hey .. isn't that the point? Green is usually perceived as awkward when it comes to newer individuals. After spending time with him, or if you're his client, things seem pretty alright! The only unique thing about the man is his ability to make certain situations automatically award .. and somehow /not/ realize? He's working on it ..
How does your character act around the hospital?
Around the hospital, Green usually has his nose in a book if not occupied by paperwork or clientele. You'd better not catch yourself beside him if you want to spare yourself the embarrassment, assuming you're a co-worker of his. Professionalism is part of his nature if you're someone in a position of higher standing, and respect is universal to the man. He slaps himself out of it if he's ever caught displaying disrespect. Find yourself a man who knows how to get comfortable!
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Alexander likes to think that he works better with other people. If you're fine with awkward silence, Green's your man! Understand that he gets things done, though. Give him an assignment and he'll finish it within the hour unless he loses his reading glasses. Xander surrounds himself with every individual, and he finds that waiting until you're ready gets you absolutely nowhere. Why else would he choose this profession? To sit in silence EVERY session? No.
His social battery is usually always on a solid 80%; he needs to find a charger.
