If I remember correctly, I joined SRP in early 2021 and joined the Council in May of that year, until I left in mid-2023 due to my studies, until now, I finally have time to rejoin a Factions.
Compared to others, I have a lot of RP experience, and I always had some traces in the community a few years ago. I believe that I can do it again.
I can be online for 2-4 hours every day. If I have nothing else to do, I can be online for 6-8 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
I will spend a lot of time on SRP for at least the next six months, and unless something unexpected happens, this will continue.
As I answered in the next question, I am not currently in any faction and I can totally invest all my SRP time into Judge role I may get.
I think few people have played longer than me, I bet 1 yen

Let me first tell you the reason for OOC:
I want to give being a judge a try. In the four years or so since I joined SRP, I have never worked in the government faction. Most of my experience has been in the school faction in SRP. I do not wish to do GangRP because it is high risk and I do not want to put the characters that I have carefully cultivated and invested my energy into into danger. So I think it is necessary for me to join the government faction and get more invested and understand the story of this server.
In fact, I have a great interest in the position of judge in real life. I know that there is a great possibility (99%) that I will never become a judge in real life, so I thought about experiencing this feeling in the game and in role-playing. In a word, uh, I want to satisfy my spiritual needs.
Although I have joined this server for more than four years, I actually haven't made many friends, and I have never dealt with people from the government faction. I want to join this new faction and find friends.
Lest reason is, don’t you think the position of judge is very cool?
As for the IC reason:
Meiqi Ling is a character I created 3 years ago. I used her from Grade 12 - College PHD. This is the character I invested the most in. I used her to participate in clubs, Council, and host activities. In the history of the entire SRP server, I left a mark in the corner. She and I have experienced many things together: friends, family, enemies; reluctance, confusion, contradictions; happiness, excitement, passion; sadness, pity, and crying.
The failure of my latest application gave me an opportunity to continue to improve my character experience. When I reviewed her background story, I suddenly felt that it was a bit hasty to end her story like this. I hope I can continue her story and lead to a fixed ending. Hmm... maybe a different ending? So I applied for the government, let's see.

As I said before, I want to continue my story about this character. So far, I have written a wonderful background story for this character (I think so). In the past three years, I have used this character to leave my mark in SRP. I think this is not the end. I will continue this story in the government faction and end it at the right time. Oh, don't worry, I plan to stay in this faction for at least a year.
As I mentioned before, I have never joined or tried to role-play the Karakura judicial system. I have only watched a few trials. I hope to continue to improve my roleplaying experience through this experience, and at the same time become more integrated into this community and make more friends.
Likewise, I really want to be a judge in SRP. I like this position very much and think it is cool. In fact, I tried to join the government faction two years ago, but I was unsuccessful in the end. Meiqi Ling has been a person who hates crime since she was a child. She believes that justice will come, but she saw Karakura, this corrupt city, she believes that the world can be changed, and that law and justice can protect social fairness. However, as she grew up, she encountered setbacks: she worked hard to promote change in the student council and tried to improve campus order in a gentle way, but she eventually found that corruption and darkness still existed, and her companions were even died for pursuing justice. This made her disappointed with the world for a time, and she even began to doubt whether the justice she insisted on could really be achieved.
But this is not the end!
Although she was frustrated again and again in her pursuit of justice, she still couldn't give up completely. She often wondered: What if she stood in the position of a judge?
She had been hurt, and her dream of justice was shattered again and again. She hated criminals. They had taken away her friends, and she would not let anyone take anything away again.
This was her last attempt. This time, she would not escape. She would prove to herself that justice still existed, and what she did was no longer the simple "good deeds" of her student days, but as a mature, rational, and law-based justice practitioner - a judge.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Mayor:
The mayor is the head of the entire government faction, and like other factions, this position is usually held by a staff member.
Deputy-Mayor:
The second in command of the Government Faction, responsible for helping to manage all matters concerning the Government Faction and appearing to the public.
Lawyer:
They can accept commissions and act as the party's spokesperson in court. They will confront each other in court and find the truth (maybe). They can also file restraining orders, etc.
Governor:
A government worker who is responsible for issuing IDs, providing assistance in court, front desk work to help anyone, officiating at weddings, approving adoptions, conducting public inquiries, etc.
Judge (This is the position I am applying for, so I think I need to write more):
The judge is an indispensable position in the government faction and the entire Karakura legal system. Without this position, the entire Karakura legal trial will be paralyzed.
Everyone's first impression of a judge is that they attend trials in court and make final decisions, but in fact, it is more than that. In Karakura, judges are also responsible for Reviewing cases and taking some actions; they are also responsible for Officially recognizing the legal marriage relationship between two people; they are also responsible for File restraining orders, which are used to protect someone or for other purposes; they are also responsible for Front desk work that other government members may do, helping any citizens who seek help, and finally Approve adoption paperwork, legally recognizing the adoption relationship between two people.
In general, judges are an indispensable role in the IC government and any related activities, as well as contributions to the server in OOC, and I look forward to the role I may play.

Okay, I understand. Removing a person requires a reason. I just don't want to be removed without a reason.
But if this is the decision of the faction leader, I think I can't refuse it.

Meiqi is the eldest daughter of the Ling family. She is optimistic, outgoing, lively, smart, kind, creative, optimistic and impulsive, and adventurous. Her academic performance is poor, and she often compares her grades with her classmate Shi Xiaolong. Because of her poor grades, she was held back in her sister Meixue's class. But it was no use. Her colleague, another Councillor, resolutely went to the police station to report the case. This was the last time she saw him.
"No, this is not true, this corrupt city!"
Perhaps, at that moment, Meiqi really grew up, understood a lot of things, and saw through a lot of things.
Meiqi felt confused. From then on, she no longer cared about the affairs of this city. She believed that this was a corrupt city and thinking too much about it would only increase her sadness.
She locked herself in a cage called school and academics, She chose to forget everything and concentrate on studying. And still want to practice their own justice in school. After more than a year, she finally gave up. She found that she could not change this society or this school. This school was no different from the corrupt city, full of criminals and gangsters.
It was over for now. She gave up. She quit the Council and spent her last few years at school focusing on academics. When she came to her senses, she was already a PhD.
"It's incredible. When I was a kid, I was at the bottom of the exam and was held back." She said self-deprecatingly.
"PhD of Law, Bachelor of Psychology, what's the point? I'm no longer myself."
Yes, Meiqi lost herself. She felt that she was no longer the same person. She became humble, introverted, and natural.
"Sister, what's wrong with you?"
Meiqi's sister's words brought her back to reality when she was confused.
"Yes, what's wrong with me?"
She understood that she still had someone to protect, her sister. Her friend had been taken away from her, and she would not let anyone take away her sister, or take away anything from anyone.
I need to pull myself together, this is my last attempt to rid this city of evil!
