Describe your activity on the server:
I'd like to say that I've stayed relatively active throughout my fice years on SRP. I've engaged myself in numerous factions in the past, that allowed me to explore different aspects of the server. I've roleplayed as a receptionist for arouns 2 years OOCly and I truly enjoyed my time there, I met many people with whom I'm still close with to this day. After the years, though, I felt as a change was required and I applied for the government faction, in which I stayed for over a year OOCly. During that time, I've also held a role of a councillor on my alt account, though I've remained in it for only a few months. Unfortunately, due to IRL circumstances, I had to resign. After a short break, I am back to being as active as I once used to be. On weekdays I average around 4 to 6 hours roleplaying on the server. On weekends, that amount of time is naturally higher, as I find myself with more free time and more of my friends are available to play. My schedule is quite flexible, so I am able to pop in at any given time if the circumstances require it.

What position are you applying for?:
Judge

What is your motivation for applying?:
The main factor is that I've missed faction roleplays. I've always spent a significant amount of time in each faction I've been a part of and have always had plenty of fun being involved in them. Whilst being able to run around freely with no ICly responsibilities is fun in the short run, the longer it drags on, the more boring it becomes, and eventually, it lacks variety in roleplay. I had a chance to roleplay as a Governor before, and frankly, I truly enjoyed it. Since quitting, I had a plan to eventually return to it - only when I find myself having more free time that I could dedicate to the faction. Thankfully, as of now, I have found a stable time when I can run on a proper, undisturbed schedule that will allow me to remain active regularly. Yet, I did not want to repeat what I'd already roleplayed and, this time, headed for a slightly different direction - The position of a Judge. During my time in the faction, I've grown fascinated by roleplaying trials. Since then, I've had the desire to hold a role that could have an actual, significant influence over the way they turned out. I initially considered going for a position as a Lawyer, but doubted my abilities of properly fulfilling it. Then I've reconsidered applying for a Judge, and after a careful consideration I can, confidently, say that it is the right path for me and the development of my character.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
Yes, I do.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
I've been fascinated with government-centered roleplays for quite some time now. During my break, I engaged in real-life DND sessions with friends, where I had plenty of opportunities to experience political and trial-centered roleplays. My goal with re-joining the faction is to further expand my interest and polish my abilities in that regard. Nonetheless, I've created my OC with the idea of developing her occupational knowledge and experience. Avery was always meant to be a heavily opinionated woman who strived to deliver accurate justice, which she often saw as lacking. Becoming a government official once more would allow me to pursue that aspect of my character's storyline and allow Avery to prove herself to her friends and family as someone who is not only defined my her past, but a person with real and ambicious goals. I wish to contribute and develop new ideas for the faction, some of which I had proposed in the past but didn't have the time or opportunity to develop. Additionally, I want to reconnect with some people I knew and who are still actively involved in the faction, both OOCly and ICly, to rebuild my character's social circle.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Mayor:

The mayor is the representative of the city and the leader of the Government faction. Their main tasks are implementing new laws, policies and proceedures to the townhall, as well as overseeing their employees to ensure they are performing their respective jobs correctly.

Deputy-Mayor:
The deputy mayor is the right hand of the Mayor, a higher-up of the faction. Their tasks are the same as the Mayor's, though they hold lower authority and can not pass procedures without the Mayor's approval. During the Mayor's absence, they take their place.

Governors:
Governors are most commonly responsible for distributing IDs to citizens and handling the processes of marriage and adoption legalization. They're also responsible for hosting speeches regarding, for example, the issues of the community of Karakura or recently implemented changes by the government, though those, to my knowledge, had become rare if even still existent. More commonly, governors are faced with hosting public surveys, during which they interview the citizens and ask them about their input on the Government of Karakura. Inspecting the local shops to ensure they're running lawfully and with adequate standards is another, crucial task of the Governors. The shops get a proper rating in different sections and then one - overall rating of the store. During trials, they are responsible for properly overseeing them. They do so by recording the words of the accused, the defendant, their lawyers, and witnesses, alongside swearing in the Judges and every witness who testifies.

Lawyers:
Lawyers are responsible for representing their clients in court to either prove their innocence or attempt to reduce the possible sentence. They hold meetings with their clients beforehand to gather proper evidence and rehearse the points that will be presented during the trial, ensuring that they do not say anything that could be used against them, even accidentally. Lawyers, on top of everything, take in attorney calls to represent the recently jailed individual and lawfully shield them. In cases of, e.g., harassment, Lawyers are granted permission to issue restraining orders, with proper evidence given beforehand. Naturally, during their meetings with clients and attorney calls, they are to build themselves a list of clients for future purposes.

Judges:
The Judge's main task is to take a seat at the Judge's bench during trials and announce a carefully thought-out and unbiased verdict after listening to both the accused and the defendant's side. Another important duty is issuing warrants that enable the KPD to operate smoothly; giving them permission to search the apartments of suspected individuals. Same as the lawyers, Judges are given the permission to issue restraining orders with properly given evidence. Besides that, Judges operate similarly to the Governors. They are tasked with issuing IDs and handling the processes of marriage and adoption legalizations.

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes, I do.

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
I have and I agree.

Full name:
``My full name is Avery Bloom.``

Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
``I prefer the title of a Ms... or Mrs. Though, as long as I'm not referred to as Sir - I'm fine with whatever.``

Current age:
``I am 36 years of age, I will be 37 quite soon. I have the spirit of a young person deep inside, however.``

Date of birth:
''I was born on 6th of July, 1987''

Gender:
Female [She/Her]

Academic Degree:
Masters

Major(s):
Law and Political Science

Minor(s):

Work experience:
``At my age, I've acquired a somewhat lengthy work experience? Or at the very least a good enough one. As a teenager, I used to catch onto any available part-time job... Whether it would be a shift at a convenience store, a gas station, or at a local ice cream store. Then, as I finished my first college degree, I went to work as a receptionist at Karakura's High and Community College. I had worked there for several years, even performing the function of a Head of Department twice throughout my employment. After I resigned, I looked into applying for the position of Governor and managed to acquire it. I've stayed as a Governor for another few years, even gaining the title of a Vice-Governor. Though, unfortunately, due to life circumstances that were out of my control, I was forced to resign with a heavy heart.``

Nationality & born location:
``I was born in Poland, in Ząbki. A small village. I lived there for only a few years of my life, I can not even speak the language, unfortunately.``

Fluent languages (Underline your native):
English,
JSL,
Spanish,
Welsh,
Japanese.

Criminal record:
``My criminal record is clean, I've never been arrested. And I, very much, intend to keep it that way - forever.``

What makes you a good candidate for this job?
``I believe that I make for a great candidate for the position. Firstly, and most importantly, I've previously been involved in working at Karakura's town hall and have a perfect understanding of how it operates behind the scenes. I've held the position of vice governor, which required me to remain entirely neutral and fair when it came to making decisions, which is a crucial skill to possess as a Judge. There is no place for favouritism when announcing verdicts; justice must be served, and I've previously proven to be unbiased. I am also familiar with specific tasks that Judges are assigned, such as marriage certificates, adoption papers, or issuing IDs. I've performed them firsthand and know my way around the procedures. Without a shadow of a doubt, I'm sure that I'll get a quick hang of the rest of the given duties and will perform them with excellence. In my heart, I still hold the same dedication I had when I worked here as a Governor. I still fully focus on improvement of the life of our citizens, especially the youth, and want to give them a better place to grow up in. One, where authorities are not feared, but seen as a place to seek help - and actually receive it. I want to prove that we serve our people not only in times of desperate need, but in time of peace and calmness too.``
