TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
The student council is an important part of any school, made up of students who are either elected by their peers or appointed by the student body president and vice president. Their main job is to act as the voice of the students, bringing their ideas, concerns, and feedback to the school administration. Beyond that, the council helps plan and run events like dances, spirit weeks, and sports days, keeping school life fun and engaging. They also promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere by encouraging respectful behavior and making sure student perspectives are considered in key decisions. Through all of this, the student council plays a big role in building a strong, connected school community.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
Currently, I have left the council due to personal reasons- but those reasons are now gone<3 and I feel safer rejoining the student council for srp. To be honest, I really enjoyed being a stricter character who could help with events and the better for the student body. As someone who is VP IRL, I really do love it! Being in the student council allows me to have some more fun interactions roleplay-wise and gives me the chance to keep learning for writing purposes! Council is a way to involve myself more for srp, keep me entertained, and give others a great roleplay opportunity!
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
I am aware I’ll have to put in my share of creativity and activeness when it comes to teamwork and event ideas!
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
Faculty
Faculty members are the trusted adults who help the school run smoothly and support the student council when needed. From teachers and nurses to receptionists and administrators, these individuals are essential to day-to-day operations. They’re the ones the council turns to in serious situations—whether it’s calling students over the intercom or stepping in as a responsible adult during critical moments. Their guidance, experience, and authority are vital to ensuring everything stays on track.

President
The Student Body President holds the top leadership position within the council. They’re responsible for keeping the team united, ensuring everyone stays on task, and leading by example. From hosting meetings to motivating members, the president drives the council forward with vision and determination. As the face of the student
body—and arguably the heart of the school—this role demands dedication, strong leadership, and relentless effort. It’s a position earned through hard work, not handed out lightly.

Vice President
Second-in-command but equally important, the Vice President is the backbone of the council. Think of them as watchful guardians—they step in when the President is unavailable and help maintain order within the team. They're responsible for keeping everyone accountable, ensuring tasks are completed on time, and supporting the group’s momentum. Like the veins that keep the heart pumping, the Vice President keeps things moving behind the scenes. This role, too, requires commitment, responsibility, and a whole lot of grit to earn.
Council
The Council is a dedicated team of students chosen to represent their peers. They act as a bridge between the student body and administration, plan and host school events, and make sure everyone can safely enjoy their time at Karakura High School and College. Council members are often found in the halls, keeping an eye out for their classmates and supporting teachers and staff when needed. To be part of this team, students must be responsible, reliable, and ready to work together to improve school life for everyone.

Caretakers
Caretakers are faculty who clean the school and also watch the grounds! They are helpful for if the bus is taking students to school! They are members of the school who can also call people to the front, being a crucial role that one would need to find in case of an incident!

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
/me would calmly approach the disrespectful student, Oni’s expression warm and kind as before when she was more aggressive. Oni had changed from then, now offering a smile to those around her. The female’s boots would click as she walked, soon reaching the student Oni’s lips parted as she whispered to them as not to cause a disruption herself. “Excuse me..? Let’s settle down and listen quietly, if not... you will have to leave WITH detention.”
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
/me Oni watched the student run away and sighed annoyed already, she huffed and made her way to the front desk! She needed someone to call them to the front! “Ah- where are they?!” She couldn’t find anyone!! Oni grunted as she hurried over to the nearest faculty who could call! THE CARETAKER! Oni raced over to the caretaker huffing. Her hair over her face, “Ah- Could you call up [Character name]? Please threaten with SLT…!” She would ask hoping for some assistance. Of course they do and she is able to give them a detention.
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
/me would observe the behavior and walk up to the teacher and whisper so as not to interrupt, would ask if they need assistance. “Ah- Sir? Would you like me to deal with this situation?” She was given a yes and went over to the students and calmly reminded them not to be so graphic. “Hey- could we tone it down a bit? Let's not call our peers anything. First warning..?” Oni spoke softly, but firmly enough for them to understand. The student had stopped the verbal threats but still kept drawing inappropriate artwork. Oni simply reminds them to remember it should be PG artwork. “Hey- Remember this is SCHOOL yah know? Let's erase that and try something else please!!”
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
/me would raise a brow and shake her head. “I know that it would get shut down either way I'm sorry. Perhaps you all can come together and bring your words to the top? Maybe a meeting with Iowa?” Oni suggests hoping to redirect them from protesting, feeling that it would still be shut down if SLT found out. She would narrow her eyes as she would like to say yes, but from the heart- she can’t let him only for it to be brought down. “You can do better than protests yah know hm?”
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
/me would narrow her eyes at the adult, she was told differently, Oni bit her tongue and bowed "Sorry about that- Well I was told differently to do this by Bee! So would you like me to call them up so we can see where this misunderstanding started..? I'd like some basic clarification.!" She says huffing and pulling out her phone ready to call.
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):

This event promises a fun-filled, engaging experience while encouraging students to work together and enjoy the spirit of spring!
How it Works:
Students will have the opportunity to sign up either individually or in small teams for the Easter-themed scavenger hunt. Personal Information
(in character)
Name:
/me would stand up and bow. Her curls fell past her face making it hard to see, but you could tell her eyes were still looking at you, even when bowing… “My Name is Oni Kaneko! Good to see you again…”
Gender:
/me nodded my head, looking down at her bust before looking back at the person before her. “I’m Female- and I use She/her. “
Age
/me sighed and looked at her nails for a second and then slanted her head. “18..”
Phone number:
/me would open her phone with a Face ID- holding it up to her face, then swiping a bit, you could see her go to her settings and check her number. Once Oni found it, she looked u,p reading it off “Ah- 030-659-8432” It seemed she still hadn’t memorized it.
How would you describe your personality?:
/me would part her lips thinking about this question for a second. “I believe I've changed from how I was. I was angry and mean at first- then I was afraid to be mean.. But now, I believe I'm confident. Nothing is wrong with it, I will speak my mind. I know how to censor myself of course.” She said the last part a bit quieter, but closed her eyes while talking. “I can ensure I’m confident and a curious person. I am always seeking information and will do anything to find the answer!”
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):

The female in the image seems to be around 5'8 with absurdly long curls. Her skin was a warm and lighter brown, you could only assume she was mixed race. Chinese and African American, perhaps. Although it was a familiar face as she was a former Councilor! The woman was shown to have lots of flora on her. Some you could swear you've seen in a list of toxic plants.. Maybe? But as far as you could see, she was a pretty healthy-looking person. Her left hand was an odd color compared to the rest of her body, and she seemed to have larger features, like hips and lips. Oni also had Bright green eyes, a rare trait to see on dark skin people. Exotic almost.
What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
/me would chuckle confidently, and she knew her place. “The thing that separates me from other applicants is that I have been on the council before. I know the rules and how to act in tough situations. I’m aware of what to do and who to call~! Oh- and I’d like to believe I'm well-liked.” She smirks, feeling good about it. “I do think there are…some good applicants of course, but I know what I'm doing to make training easier!” Oni’s eyes narrowed as she began to twirl her curls. “So that’s why I’m the best- I mean the thing that separates me from others. . .”
Why do you want this position?:
Oni stands with her arms at her sides, eyes steady, and voice clear. There’s no hesitation in her tone—only conviction. “I want this position because I’m not the type to sit back and let things stay the same when I know they can be better. I see the potential in our school…in the people, in the energy…and I want to help bring it out. I don’t want to just exist in this place. I want to leave it better than I found it.” She pauses, her expression softening just a bit. “I know what it’s like to feel invisible or like your voice doesn’t matter. I’ve seen people slip through the cracks. I want to be someone who lifts others up, someone students can count on…not just to plan fun events, but to listen, to act, to show up.” Her gaze sharpens again, her voice steady and passionate. “I want this position because I have ideas, drive, and the guts to follow through. Because when something needs to be done, I won’t wait for someone else to handle it…I will. I don’t want the title for the sake of it. I want the responsibility. I want the challenge. And most of all, I want to make an impact.” Oni smiles faintly, a confident glint in her eye. “That’s why I’m here.”
What interests you the most about the student council?:
/me leans back slightly in her chair, arms crossed but with a hint of a grin tugging at her lips. She taps her fingers thoughtfully before speaking, her tone honest and full of energy. “What interests me the most? Being able to help! Not just sitting around complaining about how boring school is or how nobody feels heard, but being part of the crew that helps fix it. The student council isn’t just a title to me, it’s a toolbox. A way to build things that matter. Being Student Council means I keep my friends safe without causing trouble!” She leans forward now, eyes alight with fire and purpose.”I want to create events that don’t just check a box but make people feel something. I want to stand up for people who don’t know how to ask for help. I want to turn ideas into action. Seeing the spark in someone’s eyes when they realize their suggestion made a real difference? That’s the good stuff~.” She shrugs with a small smile, a little more relaxed. “And honestly? I like being in the thick of it. Planning. Solving problems. Organizing... bringing people together. That kind of pressure? That kind of impact? I live for it.” With a confident nod, Oni adds one last thought. “Student council is where leadership and heart collide and I’m all in.~”
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
/me steps forward confidently, hands clasped behind her back, eyes steady with determination. "Honestly? I want every student to walk through these halls feeling like they belong—like this school isn’t just a place they have to be, but a place they want to be. I’ve always believed that safety isn’t just about rules or supervision; it’s about community. I’d work to make sure everyone’s voice is heard, even the quiet ones in the back who think no one’s listening." She pauses, then smirks slightly, a spark in her eyes. "And fun? Oh, I’ve got ideas. Events that genuinely excite people to come to school. Scavenger hunts, late-night study jams with music and snacks, cozy corners for mental health breaks, and themed spirit days that go all out. I want to help build something unforgettable." She straightens up, her tone turning firm. "More than anything, I’m not afraid to step in when something’s wrong. If someone’s being bullied, ignored, or left behind, I’ll be there. I’ll speak up. Because a safe and fun school doesn’t happen by accident. It takes work, heart, and people who give a damn. I do." Oni gives a respectful nod, her expression calm but full of conviction. "I’m ready to give it everything I’ve got. AGAIN..."
