As of currently, I’m balancing my work schedule as well as my team’s practice schedule. I do work two jobs, so the above table can differ from week to week depending on the shifts for one of my jobs. Most of my hours on SRP are quite flexible and dependant on my mood and schedule for the day. Typically I’m on for around 3 hours all the way 6 hours (oops!).
While online, I do roleplays with friends, character development RP, get dragged to play plugins, grind my attributes, or AFK writing stuff related to my characters! I’m mostly online on my main account, safteaz, but I’ve been trying to get better at logging onto my main alt account, be3llerinaz. I’m hoping moving a significant character in my main profile’s character rotation will help me keep active.

Are you aware that inactivity can result in removal from the council?
Yes, fully understood!

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?
The student council acts as the bridge between the student body and the faculty. Student council allows participants to practice their leadership skills and be a voice for their peers. Whether it be hosting spirit weeks and events or acting as a role model alongside the Perfect. They can supervise or help with club events! Council members can also act as friendly faces for students to ask help from. Perhaps to guide new students around school, or answer simpler questions when a faculty member isn’t present.
They may assist teachers and professors while lessons are being held. Ensuring students stay in line and aren’t disruptive or focusing on the task at hand. Sometimes, they assist the faculty in hosting detentions and enforcing the school rules. Generally, they want to ensure the student body is safe and having fun!
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
Friends of mine are on council and two of them encouraged me to try and apply! I will admit, it was daunting at first, so I took some time to think about it. Weighing the pros and cons with being able to balance both council and my team was something that was important to me. Having been a part of two other school factions in the past (even if only briefly), I find myself constantly drawn to new experiences within the school faction.
I feel like the council will allow me to engage in more roleplays with characters I’ve kind of neglected and been meaning to play. The new opportunity for roleplay interactions and interacting with new faces and familiar faces was intriguing! I remember time and time again when I’d use my sports character to show new players around the school and help them adjust to the play style and system. I want to be able to help in that way still.. And I think joining the student council will help me do that!
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
I am aware, and fully understand what my interactions in student council entail.
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?
STUDENT PRESIDENTS
The student council President is the leader for the rest of council, someone who’s seen the ins and outs of council for a while. They supervise, and can coordinate school events, tasks, interviews, etc. The President acts as the face representative of the student body.
STUDENT VICE PRESIDENTS
The student council Vice President is the right hand man to the President, assisting in similar tasks. The Vice President is able to take on the tasks the President has should the President be unavailable.
STUDENT COUNCILORS
The general student council helps keep harmony between the student body. Acting as role models, keeping order by enforcing rules, assisting students, assisting teachers, etc.
STUDENT COUNCIL TRAINING COMMITTEE
The training committee specializes in training new student council members. Usually it’s the President and Vice President on the training committee, but there are cases where a member of council will also be a part of the committee. In both the HS and College council, there are two members in the training committee.
SCHOOL FACULTY
The student council assists the faculty as they need. Perhaps during a lecture, a teacher may need help keeping students engaged. Or there isn’t enough faculty around to host detentions. If a matter is bigger than council can handle, it gets brought to faculty, then SLT.
CLUBS
On occasion, the student council can help clubs coordinate events! Whether it’s all of the clubs, or specific club events. The student council members can also act as supervisors for clubs if they need.

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
“Well, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. Sumthin’ might’ve happened which needed people’s attention. I think I’d check in first. . then remind them they got’ta sit.” Khánh tapped her fingers lightly against her lap.
“Most people don’t like assemblies, and that’s understandable! There’s a lot of people ‘nd it can get hot. I’m sure ev’ryone’s a little peeved when someone’s disruptin’ stuff like that.”
There was a beat before they continued. “Now, if they don’t listen? I’d give them one last warnin’. Obvi’usly, if there’s an issue that needs intervenin’, I’d intervene. But if it’s just out’ta spite? I’d pro’ly let a faculty memb’r know. If it’s worth a detention being giv’n, I’d give it.”
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
“I’d definitely try runnin’ after them. Since we have radios, I’d probably radio to see if we can get an intercom. Identifyin’ them’ll be hard ‘cause of the mask.. Hopefully, someone could help us identify the student - maybe someone nearby, I dunno. .” Khánh adjusted the sleeves of her sweater, covering her palms.
“If I lose ‘em? I’d make sure other councilors know to keep a look out for the person. My eyes? Wide open for the rest’v the day. I’m checkin’ left and right to make sure nuthin’ happens. If caught? I'd confiscate the mask, and give 'em detention for runnin' the first time and tryin' ta' evade us! Clearly they knew what they were doin' wasn't right.”
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
“Now.. that’s kinda a weird situation. . but I’m sure it has happened.”
Khánh itched the side of his head, somewhat stumped by the prompt. “I guess.. I’d ask what the teacher needs from me. Threats aren’t somethin’ ta’ take lightly - joke or not. I think documentin’ the art would be crucial. To an extent, I don’t think it’s in my jurisdiction ta’ make any sort of final calls. If the teacher needed assistance talkin’ with the student, I can do that.”
Khánh shrugged, “If the issue isn’t resolved by a talk and whatever me ‘n the teacher discussed was necessary to act on, it should probably be brought up to SLT and handled from there.”
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
“As long as it’s not a like, out’ta the blue kinda thing, I think it’s okey! I do agree that students should be able ta’ speak up about matters that ‘re important ta’ them if they need to.”
Khánh puffed their cheeks out for a moment as they thought of how to answer the rest of the question. “I’m sure it’d need to go through some sort of. . faculty or SLT approval. .” There was more thought to be considered.
“Now that I think about it, I dunno if I can allow them or not. Either way, it’d need ta’ go through a higher resource than I can provide. It’d need to be contained or sumthin’, like in one location. Preferably not close to any sort’a classroom or learnin’ space so classes can still keep goin’. If they needed help fillin' stuff out to host the protest or whatev'r, I could try helpin' them with that! Or if it's something I can speak about for them at a council meetin', I'd do that too.”
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
“Calmly.” Blunt to begin, but it was the truth.
“I think I’d ask for feedback on what exactly I did wrong then reflect. I know I’m not gun’na be perfect. I’m sure I’ll make mistakes and hopefully I’ll learn from ‘em. A nice conversation would help make sure ev’rythin’s covered and the mistake(s) made won’t be made again. Surely during the early days of bein' a councilor, there'll be a lot to adjust to. It'll get bett'r in time.”
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
“Oh man. . . well, let’s see!”
Fuyu Matsuri - Winter Carnival
Khánh took out a pad and pencil as she began drawing and talking. “So - this may be more of a common event. . It’s the winter season. I rememb’a seein’ a real big pond in the Ochiba Forest! When it’s cold enough, won’t it freeze ov’r? Or if it can’t be held in the forest. . maybe the pool will freeze over and act as a mini ice skatin’ rink!”
“I was thinkin’, we could do some sort’a winter carnival? Or festival, whichev’r is easier to put up. With the whole carnival thing, I’m thinkin’ like, tents and stands. Prizes to be won from mini games, or big inflatable slides! Sumthin’ for the ev’ryone to just have fun with. Winter finals can be stressful, so why not ease the stress with some games? Hit a few people with a snowball, relieve the stress by punching a snowman.. Something like that. Games never hurt anyone, soo!”
Continuing on, “If the pond freezes over, we can host ice skatin’ or maybe even sleddin’? If we got the space for it, of course. Other activities can be like snowman building, snowball fights?? There’s that campfire too, and then people who just wanna stay toasty can sit by the fire! We can even have a hot cocoa stand.”
Khánh lightly tapped the pencil in her hands against her chin before scribbling some more, “Maybe there’s sum sort’a competition built in! Like the best snowman ever built. . or best snow fort. . or. . best hot cocoa. . or best warmly dressed. . . most snowballs thrown. . . a scavenger hunt in the snow?! Maybe even a bingo card people can fill out and get a prize for filling out completely. Stuff like that! We can have mini prizes for ev’rything so people can get a reward for makin’ sumthin’ fun out of the day.”

Personal Information
(In Character)
Name:
Khánh Tang-Maeng
Gender:
Genderfluid
Age:
Seventeen
Phone number:
(+81) (030)-245-1121
How would you describe your personality?
“Uhmm. .” Khánh itched the side of their head in thought before continuing.
“Well, I’m kinda social. I wou’dnt say I’m too introvert’d, but I also wou’dnt say I’m the loud’st person in the room. When I’m around my fam, it’s game over! I bounce off their en’rgy a lot.” There was a clear fondness that Khánh had for their family. "I feel like I take after ma' older sister and brother a'lot. I got'ta lock in like Khio, but try 'n stay as social as Khoa? If that makes any sense."
“I like to think of ma’self as laid back, but not too non-chalant, ye’know? Like a nice balance of both !” There was a beat in between. "I'm a friendly face. . . I uhh. . like. . am generally nice too. But if sum'one is bein' P.M.O.? I ain't takin' it! Maybe I can give some grace, but my fuse could blow real fast."
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
Khánh Tang-Maeng stood at 175 cm, taller than most of her ethnicity. The Vietnamese-Korean’s hair was vibrantly dyed red – her signature colour.

What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?
Khánh Tang-Maeng tapped their finger against her cheek, “I wou’dnt say I’m anythin’ special. I know fa’ sure I’m not usin’ this position ta’ get anywhere. . Like - take advantage of a high’r status or what’ver.”
Khánh lowered her hand, allowing it to rest on his lap. “Me pers’nally, I think I’m pretty good at talkin’ te’ multiple people. If sumthin’s not right, I’d stand up for it! Ev’ryone’s voices deserves ta’ be heard. Athletes, club members, new transfers, ev’ryone!”
A beat. "I feel like I got the hang of it. . sorta? I can't say any of my siblin's or cousins have been on council b'for, but! That doesn't mean I can't try ta' be the first! Bein' in a family of faculty or sports, ya' get ta' learn the system one way or anoth'a."
Why do you want this position?
Khánh Tang-Maeng’s shoulders eased the tension it previously held. “I wanna be able ta’ help people. My old captain told me we should always be willin’ ta’ be a helpin’ hand. Stud’nt council seems like a good outlet for that kinda stuff. The more helpin’ hands, the better, no?”
There was a beat before he continued, “I’ve seen what it’s like on a team since I was on Bobcat Track back in year 10. It was pretty fun! I’ve been focusin’ on my studies recently. . . Ma’ sister’s been pushin’ me on it too. Maybe bein’ on student council’ll keep me in check of my studies. And like I said; bein' in a fam of faculty and sports, ya' get ta' learn the system. What ta' do, and what not ta' do.”
What interests you the most about student council?
Khánh Tang-Maeng straightened their posture, peaked with interest. “I heard student council gets ta’ help with hostin’ events. I thought that’d be sumthin’ fun to do! Gettin’ ta’ socialize with different people at school events can get boring when ya’ don’t know anyone.. But when ya’ do? Oh, they’re so fun! I’d always wondered what the behind the scenes of it all looked like. Seems interesting ta’ help out with! Life too short ta' not try new things. I swear, I'll keep up! I'm a quick learner, and have a good mem'ry!”
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?
Khánh Tang-Maeng gnawed on the inside of her cheek, contemplating. “I’d like ta’ hope I can remind people there’s someone like them lookin’ out fa’ them! I mean.. The rules are here for a reas’n… If they break ‘em, it could only hurt them more then help ‘em. Sometimes people need that friendly face to remind them of what they can do on campus versus leave at home. We aren’t all perfect.”
The seventeen year old shrugged, “The fun? I know sum’ people feel lonely ‘cause they don’t have anyone to be around. Hopefa’lly, they won’t feel so lonely if they know they got a friend waitin’ ta’ be made! A friendly face can also encourage a positive environment! As cheese as it sounds, the faculty are tryin' ta' make school fun and engagin' for students. If we help reenforce that idea, surely, they'll catch on too.”
