What's your suggestion?:
Make it so when you apply for a language you have to explain how your character learned japanese like how you have to explain how your character learned their first language and japanese if you say the language you're applying for is their first language.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Making things more fair

The server does make it fair to even allow us to apply for additional languages at all. You have to remember this is a ROLEPLAY server so you have to explain how your character LEARNED a language because you don't happen to just KNOWN a language off the bat. Even irl, you don't just KNOW a language on how to read, write, and speak it just because it's your native language. You had to learn it from being taught it, how were you taught that language? Well use that brain.

We know Japanese as a base IN CHARACTER because it's.... Well Japan. So the BASE LANGUAGE is going to be Japanese, you can roleplay it out(once you know an additional language/s) that you don't know Japanese if that is more fitting for your character. If you need more ideas on how to get an acceptable language application, look over your denied post and use your brain or look at past language applications and see what they put so it can give you an idea on how to structure it.

Language applications are pretty easy to get accepted, all you really need is to go into detail about how your character actually learned a language, as @DarkEclipic stated, Japanese is what everyone speaks icly, so there is no need to apply for the language Japanese! If you'd like I can send links of a few of my own accepted (and even denied) applications to get an idea of what they want!

Hi! Applications are easy to get accepted, just simply explain difficulties and strengths your character went through upon the journey to learn the language, even if it's their origin.

As everyone has said above, Japanese is the default language on the server, but not everyone is from Japan! We ask you to just give us a brief explanation and include those rocky roads that your character overcame.

I thought this was already the case?? But either way it's really simple and incredibly easy to get language authorisation, any changes to the system aren't necessary imo
