What are your current roles on the server?:
All my character slots are Grade-12.

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
What are the most important roles in SchoolRp? I believe teachers are of course! Teachers are the spine of the server, introducing new and old players to SchoolRp. It’s the teacher's job to maintain a strict but inclusive atmosphere for the Grade-7’s who are new to the server, and to the Grade-12’s of the server that have more experience than others. The teacher's position is to provide a safe and fun learning experience, while maintaining strict discipline in the classroom. This role also extends past the classroom and into school grounds as a whole. Teachers must patrol and maintain order within the school, enforcing the rules of the school and making sure everyone doesn’t misbehave and break those said rules.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Lolicia Odette Grimes
What is your character's nationality?: strictly German
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Art

Describe your character:
Lolicia Odette Grimes, a 4’6 elegant lady with respectful manners and a gentle tone of voice. Her hair was black and had a silk touch to it. Her eyes are as cold as ice, but her personality is as soft as a feather. When you get close to her, you’d notice the scent of flowers on a winter night. Her skin is light to the touch, flowing with ultimate beauty. Strict with things she loves, but takes care of those things delicately and respectfully, like her passion with art and reading. She isn’t afraid to get her point across and is able to help others with similar passions, maybe introducing those passions into someone else making it their own. Lolicia works to the best of her abilities on everything, anything below would be disappointing to herself and would need to start from scratch from whatever she is doing.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Lolicia sees the students and co-workers as her family. She will treat everyone the way she would like to be treated, giving them comfort and a safe and inclusive environment to go to. She isn’t afraid to reach out to a co-worker for assistance, and hopefully the same goes back to them.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Lolicia's motivation for teaching is due to her past experiences. She went to art school and graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Germany. That's when she met her husband who took her to Japan, Karakura, to apply to be an art teacher for this amazing school. Lolicia takes art to another level when it comes to her passion. For her art is a form of life, painted/sculpted onto a canvas. It’s the artist's unique vision and nobody else’s. Lolicia wants to pass vision onto the students of Karakura and hopefully they will feel how she feels about art. Lolicia wants art to be seen in another light then just colors painted into a picture, and she won’t stop until she is in the grave.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Lolicia would casually be teaching to her class, being as simple and understanding as possible. She then spots a frustrated student putting their hand up stating they have problems understanding the content she was providing. Lolicia, gently walks over and speaks to the student at their desk, going over everything she taught slowly and more understanding. If the student still hasn't understood or still has problems, Lolicia would offer tutoring one on one after class, going over everything slowly and more in depth to make sure they understand completely, without holding back the class learning experience.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Firstly, Lolicia would go over the rules to the class letting that be their first warning before going into the lesson. She then overhears a student talking out of turn and just being disruptive. Lolicia would then walk over and give them another warning, letting that be their last. She would then go back and resume teaching once again. Later on, the student begins to make fun of another classmate. Lolicia knows that this is completely unacceptable and against school policies. She then made her way back to the student, writing them a detention due to the previous warnings they had before. Any continuation would mean removal from the class and a SLT report.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Trip to the forest.

Lolicia would take her class to the forest, admiring nature's beauty. Then, they would be tasked with completing an assignment, which being that they had to paint a picture of the forest that speaks to them. Something that makes them feel something. This is meant to show that art is everywhere, not just on a painting.

An art gallery.

Students will be tasked to create art that shows what life means to them. Something unique and only they can relate to. Once the timer is done, they will be tasked to display their art on their desk, letting students walk around and see the difference in art and different visions of life that each student sees. This class is meant to make them open their mind and eyes, really looking into art and how it really is.
